Chapter 7 Court - New Start

Within the house of law and order, a trial was taking place. One of many trials was going on today for the jury and the last one was taking place which surprisingly has an interesting result. The jury had placed a good number of the Legion of Doom, the criminals into their custody, and a simple day at the office for law & order.
However the last one, with Cheetah or by her birth name Barbara ann Minerva. She was wearing the common orange color jumpsuit for prisoners and chained like a common animal with a power jammer collar around her neck. She hates that part as some of her guards treated her like a cat and toyed with her, very piss with that, mind you.
Barbara was waiting for her trial, injustice one but to her surprise and became shocked when her lawyer came in, someone that wanted to defend her, freak and was surprised how he smiled at her when he took his seat next to her, showing no fear towards what so ever.
The lawyer was a young man with white hair that was that of snow or silver steel, a rare form of eye color, blue as the ocean-upper & purple as gem stone-lower. He was handsome and had a body of a trainer olympian swimmer/runner. He wore a black business suit with a blue tie and was dress like your common lawyer but this was different and the cheetah person wonder why he seems so familiar to her. This was Naruto Uzumaki and he was here to defend Barbara, hoping to redeem her and into his custody after the trial.
Naruto had studied and looked into Barbara's past that leads up to her changing and all. He would thank Diana for information on Barbara as the Amazon Warrior Princess still believes they could be friends again, maybe one day and this was a start.
Barbara was moved by how Naruto was able to turn things to his favor and how his words can affect people when he defended. He also strongly pointed out how the guards at prison strip away her rights as a human being due to their hate for metahumans and no human people. And how a good number of court systems should be questioned for their injustice actions as well for not giving Cheetah a fair trial.
Barbara again was moved and shock by this lawyer, definitely not your common all-day lawyer.
Naruto had won in defending Barbara and have her in his custody, a great win in his books and the cheetah villainess was free.
"Why?" Barbara asked, not understanding why the young man did it.
"Why what?" Naruto questioned.
"Why did you defend me when I don't need or my actions?" Barbara explained.
Naruto hummed in thought and said, "Well I couldn't stand and let others in power use their power in unfair and unjust methods. Justice is blind and sometimes needs someone to show the way. I know some people won't like that or fight back, but I don't care as I know I am doing the right and help others to have a fair life unlike what happened to them."
"I know a good number of monsters in my life, Barbara and you are not one of them," Naruto finished, surprising Barbara and very much as those words remind her of a certain White Knight.
Naruto smiled and chuckled at Barbara's surprised looks.
"I would leave you your answer after you place it in my custody within a few days," Naruto said.
Before Barbara could say anything, she stopped and didn't speak due to being in a courthouse, not wanting others to know what she knows or who's behind the mask. She was still surprised by this and captured by Naruto, getting her attention towards him even more, and now has a strong idea who's the ghost is in.
