Chapter 3 Origins Trailer

AN: This arc takes place after Long Halloween Arc and thought of a trailer chapter for fun to see, a taste of things to come :)

It's winter in Gotham, a cold and long winter indeed. And Christmas was around the corner for a lot of holiday spirits to come but sadly crime doesn't rest and something big is going down. A black van drives at the docks, warehouse, and three guys got out quickly while carrying something of great importance from their boss.

"Go! Moving out!" The small group leader shouted, having the van drive out of here like the devil was after them and the group made into the warehouse.

The three ran into the warehouse while putting the box down and the leader went to turn the lights but to his luck, the lights weren't working and flicked a lot.

"Damn it. Frank, check the breaker," The leader ordered, having one of his men leave to work on the breaker and get the power on.

Frank went to the breaker and used a flashlight to see the problem but got something else instead as someone slammed into the said breaker and knocked him out cold. He didn't saw it coming but was heard.

The leader and his partner heard the crashing noise, both grabbing their rifles and looked around for their unwanted guest which became a big mistake to separated as they were taken down one by one within the shadows. Like a predator in the night, he strikes and takes down his prey.

We see the heroic knight, Arachknight wore was wearing the same suit but different, armored to protect himself from the cold and a good number of weapons that can withstand it. It may slow him down a bit but it will be worth it in the long run.

Arachknight with help from Spector and Captain Godron, of rumors coming around and Black Mask taking action now after a good number of the crime families, were taken down last Halloween by himself or a group of rouges. Not on his watch.

Arachknight went to check the box, but his spider-sense was going nuts, which caused him to stop and use his mask's lens, changing the normal color to red, blue, and black. Until he stopped at blue, seeing what's in the box, and started to run as it was a bomb, ready to go off as it was triggered.

The Dark Knight was able to escape the warehouse on time but the bomb went and caused him to crash into the snow from the impact behind him. Ears ringed a bit but nothing too damaging on him as he got up on his feet.

"Looks like you got my invention," A female metallic voice called out, cutting the attention like a knife and draw the hero's attention to look up to see who send their calling card to him. On top of the shipment contains, a figure comes out of the shadows and stares at the Spider Bat hero.

She wore a tight, black, and grey bodysuit armor covered her entire body, a pair of black, long leather gloves in her hands with orange armor plates covering them, along with her legs and knees.

Around her waist, we can see a black leather belt with multiple small bags attached to it, a pair of black and orange shoulder plates with shotgun shells attached to them, a chest armor that was black in color along with another leather utility belt tied around her chest, a pair of twin katanas located on her back and a pair of pistols attached to her belt.

For the final part of her attire, we can see a metallic mask, half of it being completely black without an eye socket, while the other half was orange with one eye socket, revealing her blue eye, and her other eye had a black eyepatch tied over it. Behind the mask, had long silver/white hair in a ponytail being shown and flow with the wind.

Under the mask, we can see a mature woman with long, silver/white hair, and a look in her eyes that showed the coldness of battle and the hardness of war. This was Dare the Terminator, the heiress to the name and someone that has close ties to the original, the first Deathstroke the Terminator.

"Just you and me now," Dare started, staring at her target while Arachknight reached for his belt to act.

"Come on!" She shouted before making a break for it and run while dodging a handful of batarangs being thrown at her.

Arachknight chase after Dare before using his webbing to get on the shipping contains, not let the high ground be used against him, and not let the assassin get away as she might have information he needs.

However and before Arachknight could even get close to Dare, she had jumped in the air before bringing out her bo-staff and smacked the hero away from her. This surprised the Spider as he smacked away and was able to flip himself back up, thanks to his agility. He was surprised at how his spider-sense didn't sense the attack coming and can tell that this assassin was fast which remind him of a few he trained with. But anyway.

Arachknight was able to see Dare coming at him and dodged on time to miss the bo-staff be slammed into him. He started on defending himself as the assassin attacks him with her bo-staff which his razor blades went well on defending against metal like the staff was made and blades as well. He was able to move the bo-staff out of the way but got a powerful kick to the face that sends him crashing into the shipping container behind him, causing the one on top to slide off and caused the assassin to dodge, leaving her open.

Arachknight launched a jump kick into the assassin's chest, sending her to fall off the shipping container they were on.

However, Dare used that to her edge as she brought out her bo-staff to stop her falling and used to launch herself back up to face the knight.

Arachknight looked down but got a powerful and painful double kick to the face that sends him off and crashed into the next shipping container. This assassin was indeed fast and able to think a good number of steps ahead of him. This shows how well trained she is and deadly as well.

Arachknight was able to get back on his feet and wrapped his jaw from the kick he got. He saw the assassin was facing now, not five feet away from him, and saw the look in her eye, the excitement, and thrill she was having fighting him. And also a predator one, to hunt her prey down.

Arachknight narrowed his eyes at his opponent.

Dare narrowed her eye as well, seeing her target won't be easy and makes it more exciting for her as she draws out one of her katanas.

Arachknight and Dare went at each other with the assassin taking strikes and swings at the hero who dodged them or blocked them with his razor blades, keeping up with the speed and attacks to form counter-attacks between each other. Strike to block, block to strike, attack to defense, defense to attack, counterattack to counterattack or block, and keeps going on between the two trained warriors. Both can tell that were trained well and have familiar fighting styles of the ones that trained them, one very familiar to them personally, a certain league indeed.

Arachknight blocked the next katana strike with his razor blades before using both of them to break the said sword in half, surprising Dare but didn't stop her attacks and kept using the short blade now.

Arachknight grabbed Dare by her face mask before slamming her into the shipping container by their side. The trained soldier assassin broke off and head-butted the hero in the face before starting to choke him hard. The spider kept his grip on the hand that was choking him as he used his feet to stick onto the container and used his counterattack to flip over the assassin before launching her away from her.

Dare slides in the snow before getting up with fire and excitement rushing within her. She was enjoying this fight very well and making her wanting more. She saw that her former katana was useless now but had another which she draw out and walked to the hero but something happened.

As Dare draw out her katana, someone shoots the point of her blade off and later the whole thing, surprising her and had a feeling that another assassin was her. She turn her head and saw with her good eyesight vision, 500 yards away from the fight, a lone sniper on a bridge taking the shot and glared at the fool for stepping in her fight with the Spider Bat.

The sniper was in fact, Deadshot was chuckled at Dare glaring at her and wasn't going to allow her to have all the fun.

"Not so fast, Terminator-X. He's my kill," Deadshot remarked as he reloaded his next bullet and planned his next shot on the hero. He then saw Arachknight and Dare kept on fighting each other with the hero disarming the assassin from her sidearms.

Deadshot shook his head and saw no clear shoot down below, too many corners and not enough for him to make a good shot but saw shipping contain above the two and an opening coming to him.

Back to the fight, Arachknight had slammed Dare into the ground hard but she was able to recover and kicked the hero off of her, which left him open to the next attack by Deadshot who made his shot at last.

Arachknight's spider-sense went off and saw shipping contain coming down on him, able to dodge on time and fast too but the two assassins didn't saw him and won't be able to find a body either.

Dare was not happy as the glare in her eye was shown and went back to the burning warehouse, waiting for the one that hired her to come back and make her statement clear.

"You find the body?" The Crime Boss himself asked, being Black Mask, the new and rising one that is taking over a good number of businesses in town now, aiming to take down the Kingpin of Crime and bring his own criminal empire up top.

"No. And next time, keep your other assassins out of my way," Dare warned as she throws her broken katana at Black Mask's feet.

"You had your shot, Dare but you are not the only assassins in town. You will have more changes on taking Aracknight down, the game ends after Christmas," Black Mask informed as he walks up to the assassin with his bodyguard not so far behind him.

"And the night is young," He added as he saw one of his men still alive which he nodded his head to his bodyguard to finished it, with no loose ends.

The bodyguard took out a small knife before spinning in his hand and throw with crazy speed, killing the gang member with one blade to the head.

"Bullseye," He commented with a smirk and looked forward to his shot with the Dark Knight.

Not so far away, we see our hero alive and well while holding a bullet, one that was used to shoot at the container earlier. Arachknight knows who it was and can tell that it will be long nights to Christmas as something big was going down but not on his watch. He was going to find Black Mask and put an end to this.
