Nova could only ponder what would trouble them at Loo Loo Land. He chuckled despite himself, only a demon would consider a theme park dangerous.
Still? No matter what protection Stolas had ordered for the group? Nova still had a duty to protect Octavia which she knew well at the moment.
"Nov, you almost done?" Nova heard from outside the door as he strapped his sniper across his back.
"Yeah Viv, I'm coming." Nova stated as he made sure to pack more backup magazines for his rifle upon his back. "You want to tell me anything about this dumpster fire we're headed to?" Nova questioned, already having an idea of what came next.
He knew for a fact that there would be assassins back at there. How many could claim to kill a prince or princess of the area? How many could claim their bounty?
Nova knew they were far more dangerous… But still? He'd be there for however long the princess had need of him at the moment.
"You don't know about that crappy rip off of Loo Loo World? Made by Lucifer?" Octavia questioned through the door as Nova grabbed a pair of sub machine guns.
"I'm not 8, your highness." Nova said and walked to the door, checking the guns the entire time. "Anyway, you know how dangerous going out in public is, right?" Nova stated to which Octavia could only hum.
"Do you AND my dad really think some damned assassins are going to try and kill us?" Octavia asked as Nova hummed.
"Well, you're a high-ranking princess who's worth a lot of money if some idiot kidnapped you." Nova said and gestured to the palace around them. "And your father is almost a king… Yeah, kinda do. Why, how much do you think your worth? Should I ask for a bigger paycheck?" Nova asked, a smirk gracing his beaked face as Octavia chuckled.
"But if you want an honest answer?" Nova asked while the duo started walking towards the front door. "Yeah, every two-bit scumbag with an ego to match is going to be there. There's bound to be someone trying to kill you… But the second they try it? I'm going to put a bullet through their head… Can't tell if your dad needs the backup, though." Nova added before they reached the door and pushed it open.
"VIA!" Stolas yelled from a black and red as Octavia grabbed at her hat.
"Dad…." Octavia muttered in annoyance before Nova looked at her.
"Do you want me to come with you or meet you there?" Nova questioned to which Octavia looked at her bodyguard. "I'm being serious, I can fly there if you need me." Nova added as he pondered what would befall the duo at the theme park.
"I think I need a bodyguard from my dad…" Octavia muttered before the two owls descended the stairs. "Besides, if theres more idiots trying to kill us?" Octavia added as Nova hummed and shrugged.
"Fair enough." Nova said before he flew down the stairs. "We might want to get going before traffic… Who in the 7 rings am I kidding?" Nova muttered as he looked at the trio of imps which made him hum despite himself.
He would only ponder what came next. He turned to Octavia as they walked. The owl demon looked mortified beyond everything at the moment. A sentiment he could understand.
"Relax, this isn't going to be the worst day ever." Nova stated, gaining a look from Octavia. "If hanging out with your parents is that embarrassing? Then nobody would do it… Besides, what's going to happen? The entire thing burns down?" Nova asked which got Octavia to roll her eyes as she turned.
"Stay, dad's probably going to ask you to do it anyway." Octavia said as Nova shrugged.
"Tell them, then." Nova said, motioning to Blitzo and the others. "Also? I need to make sure my guns are ready…" Nova said which got a raised eyebrow from Blitzo.
"What, never seen a bodyguard?" Nova asked and ducked into the van. "Cool van." Nova said while he crossed his arms over his chest and then tucked his legs under him to save space.
Octavia sat next to him as he looked out the window while he hummed. Nova scooted over as much as he could.
"I'm still telling you this is a bit stupid." Octavia said which got Nova to raise a eyebrow at the moment.
"Yes, because a two bit knock off park SURELY doesn't have people who want to kill you." Nova said and leaned on the window. "If life were that simple? We wouldn't babyproof everything… Which makes me question how anyone does anything anymore until then." Nova said and waved his hands back and forth with interest.
He knew for a fact that something stupid would come today… Then again? What did he know?

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will be 1200 words or such. I will make the chapter after that 1500 words or such. Next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will show Nova and Octavia at Loo Loo Land at the moment and more bonding at the moment. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
