Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug, Cat Noir and Steel Butterfly.

Chapter 15: Darkblade vs. Whiteblade.

(Author's notes: If you're all curious on what Whiteblade's suit of armor will look like, here's the rundown based on some heroes and villains with their own suits of armor. Whiteblade's armor is a suit of armor looking like a combination of Darkblade's armor, Riposte's samurai armor, the Superbook angel Michael's battle armor, Batwing's armor without the bat theme in terms of appearance, Superman's Injustice 2 armors without the Superman or Brainiac themes in terms of appearance, various forms of metallic medieval knight armor with every single metal armor piece merged together, including armpit armor, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Shredder's mechanized armor without the Shredder theme in terms of appearance, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003 Cyber Shredder's armor without the theme/appearance of a digital engram of anyone, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003 Demon Shredder's first suit of armor from the fourth century on his Earth, with the various armor designs merged together.

Additionally, Steel Butterfly will reveal in this chapter that because his Miraculous represents transmission, emotion, transformation, thought, resurrection, wisdom, knowledge, and numerical unity – the concept of which allows him to have almost every single superpower in existence based on his various favorite heroes and the villains he wishes were permanently dead – Steel Butterfly also has the same powers and abilities of his Tenshized heroes and Hawk Moth's Akumatized villains. Including the ability to transform normal people into his foot soldiers and to have them multiply, like how Whiteblade has the same superpower in this story.

Lastly, Chloe will become the class representative of Ms. Bustier's class due to her having already turned over a new leaf and due to the fact that Marinette has much more important things to worry about. BUT the real reason why Marinette won't be class representative in this timeline is simple: in the aftermath of being told about Lila Rossi's lies and her actions in both the original timeline and in other divergents of the primary timeline, including getting the class to force Marinette to resign from being the class representative, let's just say Marinette has since grown paranoid about the people she hangs out with even though Lila has yet to show her ugly face.

Enjoy chapter 15.)

(Quantic Universe Earth 139, April 22nd, 2015, third person POV...)

As Ladybug enters her room through the skylight from her balcony, she reverts to Marinette just in time for Nadia Chamack to give a news report on Marinette's computer.

Nadia announces on the news report, "Steel Butterfly, Ladybug and Cat Noir have saved Paris yet again. Surprisingly, Dragon Butterfly's dragon mode has been able to scare the Akumatized victims into surrendering. And the surrenders have taken place in no less than two minutes since the victims were victimized by Hawk Moth. But of course, since Steel Butterfly knows Hawk Moth all too well, SB states, and I quote, '"With the goal of reviving his wife still fresh on his mind, Hawk Moth will stop at nothing to overcome me and my crew, no matter if he thinks he's a match against my dragon mode."' That sounds very troubling, viewers. But thankfully enough, Steel Butterfly managed to give people angelic symbols to prevent them from being Akumatized again."

Marinette remarks, "And yet again, Marinette hopes that Steel/Dragon Butterfly lets Ladybug have a turn at purifying the Akumas once in a while. And I hope that I'll have enough time at finally completing my booby-trapped magic box."

Tikki asks, "What's the booby-trapped magic box for, Marinette?"

Marinette replies, "Well, it's for locking up my diary and all my secrets."

Tikki asks worriedly, "Every little secret? You're telling me that you write everything down in that thing?"

As she opens and closes the box repeatedly to make sure it works, Marinette replies matter-of-factly, "Heckle, no! Besides, I'm no stranger to anyone attempting to read it or pass off my secrets to anyone willing to sell such secrets to the highest bidder."

Tikki then inquires curiously, "And how exactly is your magic box booby-trapped?"

Marinette replies, "Well, in the event the diary is about to be removed by anyone that the hidden camera doesn't recognize as me, the blunted bear trap teeth snap shut over the intruder's wrist to cause total pain, but because the teeth are blunted, there won't be any spilled blood or severed hands. Trust me; Steel Butterfly's immense wealth from his undercover job and his clones really pays off, and he may love booby traps, but he always knows how to let go of his murderous urges."

Tikki secretly shook her head.

It was obvious that Tikki was still holding a grudge against Master Fu for choosing a well-trained "rookie" from another dimension to be the leader of the French Miraculous Superhero Team instead of Ladybug as Tikki was a holder of the tradition that the Ladybug Miraculous holders would be the leaders of their teams, and boy does Tikki hold a grudge.

Thankfully, Marinette discovered she can put limits on Tikki, so she forbade Tikki from ever interacting with Miguel and Leppey until she gets her act together because Marinette said in her own words, "Whether the Great Guardian made the right choice in choosing Steel Butterfly as our leader or not makes no difference; he has all the powers and abilities needed to get the job done, he knows more about the Akumas and more about Hawk Moth than we do, and with the real Butterfly Miraculous in our arsenal, we easily have an advantage we can use in case Hawk Moth manages to Akumatize an army of supervillains in the near-future."

Marinette also said that if Tikki disobeyed her and tried anything to have Steel Butterfly removed from his leadership position, there'll be more limits placed as punishment.

Tikki didn't like it, but she knew better than to argue with the Great Guardian and with Marinette. If only because Tikki witnessed first-hand how scary Marinette is when she's in a bad mood for any reason, including disobedience from her kwami.

But of course, Tikki was slowly letting go of her grudge one day at a time.

Snapping back to the present day, Marinette states, "Anyway, nobody is gonna be able to get to my diary, even if the booby-trapped box was turned off or otherwise disabled. Try it, Tikki."

Tikki flies into the box and she tries to lift the diary, only to get locked into the box.

Tikki cries out muffledly, "Hey!"

Marinette remarks, "Aaannnddd... it works!"

Marinette unlocks the box with her key to free Tikki.

Tikki states, "Oh, thank goodness! It was spooky dark in there!"

Nadia states on Marinette's computer, "Yesterday, Mr. Andre Bourgeois was re-elected as mayor of Paris for the fourth consecutive term. Here we see Mr. Bourgeois with his daughter, Chloe Bourgeois."

Marinette states, "Hhhhaaaa. It's gonna take a long time before someone can outrank Andre Bourgeois as the mayor of Paris. Oh! This reminds me. Class Representative Elections are tomorrow!"

Tikki asks, "What's so bad about that?"

Marinette replies, "There are all sorts of problems that my classmates have, to the point where Steel Butterfly said that they would be warped or made worse by the time Lila Rossi gets her oily claws buried deep into the mindsets of the class in terms of their beliefs about right and wrong."

Tikki suggests, "Well then, maybe you should run!"

Marinette replies, "Maybe I totally would in some other timeline, but don't you and the others think I already got enough to do with my fashion commissions, my duties as Ladybug, my temporary job of delivering pizzas for two weeks, and all the school work I get from my teachers just because they're being lenient with my tardiness just because of my duties to the city?"

Ever since Marinette revealed her identity to her teachers, she had gotten lots of leniency for her slipping grades, her tardiness and her out-of-wack sleep schedule due to her duties as Ladybug.

And it was also decided that she would get a temporary job of delivering pizzas to earn additional money so that way, she can continue to buy materials for her fashion commissions and so she can continue building up her college savings.

At the same time, in the aftermath of Steel Butterfly telling Marinette and Tikki about Lila Rossi's lies and her actions in both the original timeline and in other divergents of the primary timeline, including getting the class to force Marinette to resign from being the class representative, let's just say Marinette has since grown increasingly paranoid about the people she hangs out with, but not to the point of eventually becoming delusional.

Tikki replies back, "Yes, but if you truly believe in something, you have to try and make it work. It's better to fail trying than not having tried at all!"

Marinette mutters, "That sounds more like wishful thinking to me."

Nadia states from the computer, "Armand D'Argencourt, one of Bourgeois' opponents and one of the fencing teachers at Francoise Dupont High School, was pummeled in the polls. In fact, D'Argencourt acquired the least number of votes in Parisian History."

Marinette looks at the clock on her computer and smiles as she states, "Looks like I'll be on time for school again. God bless Steel Butterfly and my good fortune."

Marinette closes out the tab on her computer, turns it off, and heads downstairs in one of her many outfits.

In Ms. Bustier's classroom, Ms. Bustier announces, "Chloe is running for the class representative position and Sabrina will be her deputy. Do we have any other candidates, class?"

Nobody raised their hands, not even Marinette.

Surprisingly, Chloe stuck to her now "good girl nature" by staying quiet and swallowing most of her pride.

Ms. Bustier states, "Well, since nobody else wants to run for class representative, then I'll announce the final decision after the end of lunchtime."

Possibly signaling that she had hoped for Marinette to run in this school election, Ms. Bustier secretly sends Marinette a disappointed look, only for Marinette to dangerously scowl in response, forcing Ms. Bustier to back off.

In the courtyard, Marinette is sketching when she sees Chloe's shadow looming over her.

Marinette looks up and asks politely, "Is there something you need?"

Chloe replies, "I want to know how you would've solved the class' problems if you had gotten involved in the class election."

Marinette replies back, "Well, I would've just listened to all of their problems, comforted them as best as I can muster, and make changes to satisfy both the students and the staff of the school with EVERONE'S permission."

Chloe looked stunned as she didn't know how simple it was.

Chloe then said, "Okay. I'll make sure you get the credit for coming up with the idea."

Chloe left, and Marinette continued sketching.

Back in Ms. Bustier's classroom, Ms. Bustier asks, "So, are there any new candidates who would like to run against Chloe and Sabrina?"

Nobody answered except for some shaking their heads left and right in the universal sign for "no."

Ms. Bustier sighed heavily before announcing, "Seeing as Chloe and Sabrina are the only candidates, there really is no point in simply voting. So, Chloe is the class representative and Sabrina is the deputy."

Everyone affirmed through mutterings and sign language that they fully support Chloe and Sabrina, not just because they're good people now, but also because they've improved in some areas such as being shoulders to cry on whenever someone is having a bad day and might get Akumatized.

In the courtyard, Chloe is writing down everyone's desires with Sabrina occasionally giving gentle reminders on what she missed.

Chloe says, "Okay, so, among the problems of the class are that the chairs are rough and hard on everyone's rear ends, the students aren't allowed to listen to music while studying in the library, even if it's soft music played at low volume, and the security cameras in the class are malfunctioning every three days. I'll make sure to ask Daddy to see if the school can install new cameras."

Meanwhile, the next day, Adrien is in fencing class being taught by the aforementioned fencing instructor, Armand D'Argencourt.

A hidden Nadia Chamack sees them.

Mr. D'Argencourt stands still, pretending to be open to attack, only for Adrien to fall victim to the Darkblade technique.

A floored Adrien remarks, "Wow, Mr. D'Argencourt! I've never seen you skilled like this! That was such an awesome attack!"

Armand replies while balancing Adrien's fencing lance on the blade of his own, "It ought to be. This particular maneuver hither was invented and developed into perfection by mine ancestor, Darkblade."

Adrien asks, "Darkblade? Did I hear you right?"

Armand replies, "Aye, thou hath heard me correctly. In the days of yore, Darkblade was a skilled swordsmaster who conquered Paris and ruled it with an iron fist. That is, until he was overthrown vence by a wealthy Frenchman who used his dirty gold to buy the loyalties of the common people. To think that not so long ago, my ancestor's flag was waving above Paris... but to be concise, I did not run in the mayoral election to seek revenge on my ancestor's behalf."

Nadia Chamack comes to Armand from behind and asks, "So, you didn't run in the election to seek revenge on your ancestor's behalf, Mr. D'Argencourt? What did you run in the election for if you weren't seeking revenge for your ancestor?"

Armand replies, "Part le fer! Who dost we have hither?"

Nadia replies back, "Nadia Chamack. Don't be bemused, it's just the news! Do you have anything to say about your quote-unquote landslide defeat?"

Fred Haprele calls out, "Excuse me! Hey, you! How did you get in the school? And who authorized this interview?"

Nadia replies nervously while pulling her cameraman into a running sprint, "I think it's time to get back to the studio!"

Fred chases them and calls out, "Get back here!"

Armand scowls as he says, "Here endeth the lesson."

Armand walks off in anger.

In Hawk Moth's lair, the window opens as the magic-abusing terrorist of Paris remarks, "A loser and an utter failure in an election. But the perfect and only candidate necessary enough to lobby my own campaign. I'd like to see Steel Butterfly prepare for this one."

Hawk Moth creates another Akuma.

Hawk Moth sends the Akuma off as he finishes saying, "Fly away, my evil little Akuma, and take control of this defeated fighter!"

The Akuma flies off to Francoise Dupont.

Outside the school, Armand is leaving the building, only for Nadia Chamack to bother him again.

Nadia asks while holding out her microphone, "Mr. D'Argencourt, it has been said, and I quote, that you're '"stuck in the Middle Ages like a stubborn rusty old battle-axe."' What do you have to say to that?"

Armand replies rebukingly as he walks away with Nadia and her cameraman following him, "Poisonous wretch! Darest thou approach with such venomous questions? Be gone, now, pestilent pain in the neck!"

Armand bumps into a poster with Mayor Bourgeois on it.

Clutching his nose for a few seconds to check for blood, Armand raises his fencing saber and angrily slices the poster to pieces.

As Armand finishes, the Akuma merges with his fencing saber.

Armand looks ahead of him as the butterfly symbol flares on his face.

Hawk Moth monologues, "Darkblade, I am Hawk Moth. In return for the powers I'm giving you, you'll capture Steel Butterfly's Miraculous, Ladybug's Miraculous, Cat Noir's Miraculous, Lion Hunter's Miraculous, Rhinocharge's Miraculous, Blueclaw's Miraculous, Corvo's Miraculous, and Cat Knight's Miraculous for me."

Armand/Darkblade replies, "When the flag bearing the emblem of mine ancestors lies once again on the roof of City Hall, then to thee I shall indeed be indebted!"

The Akuma turns him into Darkblade.

Nadia starts to nervously ask, "Anything y-you'd like to say about your t-transformation into a—"

Darkblade interrupts her matter-of-factly, "Darkblade! The lord of Paris!"

Darkblade holds up his sword in a position that allows the cross-guard to shoot its knighting ray into Nadia's eyes and into her cameraman's eyes.

They both kneel in front of Darkblade.

Darkblade taps his targets' left and right shoulders, knighting them and transforming them into armored knights in the same full suit of armor as him, but with bright neon green in place of the red on some parts of their armor such as their epaulets and their helmets, and they each carry a generic dark gray and neon green battle axe, with the blade being green with a black design and the holding handle having the same Darkblade/D'Argencourt family crest on it.

Sadly, Darkblade's knights have the same height, size, weight, and muscular shape regardless of what they looked like before they were knighted.

Darkblade states, "Thou shalt become my knights! Soon, my army shalt be immense and unstoppable!"

Darkblade slices the billboard in half with his sword and finishes his monologue, "We shall take City Hall by storm, and reclaim the throne from Bourgeois the usurper!"

Unknown to Darkblade and his growing army of knights, Adrien and Plagg are watching the whole thing.

Plagg quietly remarks, "Whoa, that's some medieval madness!"

Adrien rushes back into the school and calls out, "Time to transform! Plagg, Claws Out!"

Adrien becomes Cat Noir.

Darkblade approaches Gustavo and remarks, "Zounds! What a great beast to join our conquest!"

Darkblade transforms Gustavo into a knight.

Soon, every civilian continuously chants "Part le fer!" as Darkblade expands his army, one person at a time.

Darkblade leads the slow march to City Hall as he calls out, "Let us do battle, knights! Part le fer!"

Cat Noir hovers in the air via his moving bat wings and his functioning jetpack in front of Darkblade, catching his attention.

Darkblade swings his sword to his right, signaling his knights to halt.

Cat Noir states while pointing his staff at Darkblade, "The people had their say and they chose Bourgeois over you, D'Argencourt!"

Darkblade replies, "Thy peoples matter not to me. D'Argencourt was defeated, not Darkblade! En garde!"

Cat Noir and Darkblade start a sword fight, beginning with Cat Noir's staff transforming into a knight sword merged with angelic and demonic sword designs and merged with the designs of Japanese swords.

Meanwhile, at City Hall, Chloe is listening to her classmates' problems, one student at a time.

Eventually, Chloe listens to everyone's problems and makes genuine promises to fix those problems as best as she can muster.

Meanwhile, at the Lock Bridge, Cat Noir and Darkblade are still fighting.

Darkblade tries the same feint-and-strike technique, but Cat Noir sees it coming this time and knocks Darkblade's sword away.

Darkblade exclaims, "Part le fer! How didst thou see that coming?"

Cat Noir replies like he had practiced, "A good friend of mine taught me to look out for techniques like that."

Suddenly, a war horn blares, causing everyone to look behind Darkblade's army to see... an angelic white and blue counterpart of Darkblade with his own army of knights that have armored angel wings on their backs!

(Twenty-five minutes earlier...)

Steel Butterfly had sensed Armand D'Argencourt was gonna become Darkblade soon, so SB decided to have his own "Whiteblade" to take on the likes of Darkblade.

Sensing positive emotions from the nearest house that came from a man who loves watching angels fight demons and other abominations, Steel Butterfly creates another Tenshi and says, "Fly away, my heroic little Tenshi, and give power to this victorious role-playing demon fighter!"

The Tenshi finds the positivity is coming from Adhemar Arquette, merges with the cosplay angel saber and establishes the connection between Adhemar and Steel Butterfly.

Steel Butterfly states, "Whiteblade, I am Steel Butterfly. I'm granting you the power to defeat the next Akumatized victim with an army of your own. Do you accept my offer?"

Adhemar/Whiteblade replies, "I shall be indebted to thou, Steel Butterfly!"

Adhemar transforms into Whiteblade, an angelic white and blue opposite of Darkblade, but with his own suit of armor looking like a combination of Darkblade's armor, Riposte's samurai armor, the Superbook angel Michael's battle armor, Batwing's armor without the bat theme, Superman's Injustice 2 armors without the Superman or Brainiac themes in terms of appearance, various forms of metallic medieval knight armor with every single metal armor piece merged together, including armpit armor, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Shredder's mechanized armor without the Shredder theme in terms of appearance, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003 Cyber Shredder's armor without the theme/appearance of a digital engram of anyone, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003 Demon Shredder's first suit of armor from the fourth century on his Earth, with the various armor designs merged together. And he had a set of armored angel wings on his back that gave him the ability to fly.

Whiteblade is escorted by Steel Butterfly to the tourist attractions where there were large groups of people, minus the press.

Whiteblade transforms the numerous large groups of people into his army of angelic knights who each has the same suit of armor, but with orange replacing the blue parts, and they each carry one medieval knight weapon.

BUT the catch is that, unlike Darkblade, Whiteblade has the ability to make his knights multiply themselves by simply knighting each other and shaking hands.

Whiteblade's army soon multiplies by the thousands all the way to ten thousand.

(Present day...)

Whiteblade held up his sword and shouted, "CHARGE!"

The armored knights in both armies really went at it, really beating the crap out of each other despite being clad in full suits of knight armor.

While his knights were busy, Darkblade went about knighting more and more people into knights.

Even though Darkblade's knights were vastly outnumbered, they put up one heck of a fight. If only because their armors granted them extra protection while their physical shapes allowed them to go on for nearly an hour without tiring.

After getting the desired amount of knights, Darkblade's army forces Whiteblade's army to retreat.

Darkblade calls out, "Nary a minute to be wasted! City Hall awaits us!"

Steel Butterfly whispers to Whiteblade through their telepathic link, "See if you can severely outnumber Darkblade."

Whiteblade's army sprints towards City Hall through a shortcut while simultaneously multiplying more than once.

However, Darkblade's army somehow manages to get to City Hall first.

Some of Darkblade's knights start playing trumpet fanfares to get everyone's attention at City Hall.

One knight calls out, "O-ye, o-ye! Darkblade shalt speak now! Listen or be imprisoned!"

Darkblade proclaims, "Henceforth, my flag shalt fly over thy kingdom! Bourgeois, pathetic knave, come hither and do battle!"

Inside City Hall, Mayor Bourgeois asks Chloe, "What did he say?"

Chloe replies, "In medieval knight terms translated into modern terms, he's gonna fight you to the death, and whether or not you're fit for battle, he's gonna kill you."

Mayor Bourgeois replies to Darkblade, "Ehh... Ask my secretary for an appointment!"

Mayor Bourgeois and his security guards shut the doors and initiate the lockdown protocols.

Darkblade remarks, "Ha ha ha ha ha! Bow down to Darkblade, or feel the wrath of mine sword!"

Darkblade's army of knights charge while shouting, "Part le fer! Part le fer! Dahhh!"

Cat Noir flies onto the scene with Steel Butterfly, Whiteblade and their respective armies.

BUT Steel Butterfly's army was nothing short than an army of knights resembling a combination of the Superbook angels, the Superbook demons as angels in the first episode, Oroku Yoshi from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic books, the Utrom Shredder, the Demon Shredder, and the Tengu Shredder merged together, but with added armor parts in areas that are not covered in armor.

And Steel Butterfly's army has two sets of angel wings on their backs, signifying that they're more angelic than demonic despite some of their numbers having black armor.

Whiteblade's army and Steel Butterfly's army were each amounting to sixty thousand, which makes one hundred and twenty thousand angelic knights in total.

Darkblade exclaims in horror, "Part le fer! We are vastly outnumbered!"

Steel Butterfly calls out in a quoting voice, "Decepticons, attack!"

Hearing their command in quoting code, Steel Butterfly's army and Whiteblade's army charge Darkblade's army in flight.

Darkblade tries to run like a coward, only to encounter Steel Butterfly and Whiteblade.

Steel Butterfly holds up a hand to signal Whiteblade to stand down as he takes out his cane and morphs it into a knight sword made out of six feet of titanium, triple reinforced steel, and six feet of chromium, six feet of palladium, and six feet of tungsten steel.

Darkblade gawks in horror from inside his helmet.

Steel Butterfly quotes again, "At the end of this day, one shall stand, and one shall fall."

Steel Butterfly and Darkblade charged each other, going all out in their big swordfight.

As the theme from the ending of the first Percy Jackson film plays on SB's radio drones, everyone witnesses the big swordfight between the two swordsmen.

Despite Darkblade having enhanced swordfighting abilities, Steel Butterfly was a grandmaster of using a sword or any other bladed weapon. Therefore, with a combination of his nearly godlike fighting abilities combined with his own version of Mirakung Fu capable of taking down rogue Tenshized and rogue Akumatized champions, it was only a matter of time before Steel Butterfly triumphed after six minutes.

When Steel Butterfly's sword shattered Darkblade's helmet without any of the pieces embedding into his skin, Darkblade conceded defeat as his sword was shattered and Steel Butterfly purified it.

Every one of Darkblade's knights were returned to normal.

Steel Butterfly's army of angelic Shredder-inspired knights and Whiteblade's army of normal knights cheered in victory.

Every citizen that wasn't turned into a knight by either Darkblade, Whiteblade or Steel Butterfly rushes over to hug the two heroes that saved the day.

Whiteblade calls out, "Please, please, everyone shalt have a turn!"

Everyone goes around hugging Steel Butterfly and Whiteblade.

After the whole thing is over, Steel Butterfly and Whiteblade assemble their armies and take off to Steel Butterfly's lair, unaware that Ladybug and Cat Noir are following them.

In Hawk Moth's lair, Hawk Moth utters, "Our duel is not over yet, my dear Steel Butterfly. At the end of our battle, I will rule!"

The window to Hawk Moth's lair closes, leaving him to stew in his own anger once again.

In Steel Butterfly's lair, the room itself is extremely large due to it being part observatory and being part underground-based, in addition to being large enough to host a universe-sized legion of heroes and troops.

As Ladybug and Cat Noir try to enter, they encounter the dance tile floor trap.

Thankfully, Cat Noir remembers the steps to open the elevator doors without triggering any of the booby traps.

Following Cat Noir's lead without messing up, Ladybug and her boyfriend enter the elevator leading to Steel Butterfly's lair.

Ladybug and Cat Noir stick to the shadows and they stay quiet as they see and hear Steel Butterfly say, "Well done, Whiteblade. You did very well in using superior numbers to defeat Darkblade's army. But now, I must relieve you of duty. But don't worry; I'll call upon your assistance again sometime in the near-future."

Steel Butterfly snaps his fingers, and Whiteblade is detenshized back into Adhemar Arquette. At the same time, Whiteblade's army is returned to normal while keeping their memories intact.

Steel Butterfly says to his other army of foot soldiers, "Soldiers, escort these nice people home, and do be careful not to go out the main entrance because of the traps."

The foot soldiers nod as over 140,000 of them escort the civilians and carbon clones under different names to the back entrance after temporarily turning off the traps.

The remaining ones going into infinity remain still as Steel Butterfly states without turning around, "LB, CN, I know you're there. Come out of the shadows and face me."

Ladybug and Cat Noir come out of the shadowed areas with stunned expressions on their faces as their faceplates retract.

Steel Butterfly turns around as he remarks, "I had a feeling you guys would find out where my lair was, sooner or later."

Ladybug asks, "How did you know we were here?"

Steel Butterfly replies, "Chief among my numerous superpowers is my super hearing combined with my ability to sense friends and enemies alike in the vicinity. That, and I could hear you both breathing despite being quiet. Nice try, by the way."

Ladybug inquires, "Now, care to tell us about your new champion and your armies fighting Darkblade, SB?"

Steel Butterfly replies, "First off, I had created Whiteblade to create and assemble an army of knights to outnumber and outclass Darkblade so as to deakumatize him. Secondly, I have the many superpowers of every single superhero and supervillain in existence, not just fictional ones either. Therefore, I can create my own armies of either knights, military soldiers of the present day, clones of myself, angels, archangels, demons and fallen angels. But the big difference is that I can control every foot soldier in my armies, especially the ones that are normally the enemies of God like fallen angels and demons. Thirdly, among my various foot soldiers are the following mass produced human-sized generic characters from the Transformers franchise: the Revenge Of The Fallen Aerialbot Scouts, the Revenge Of The Fallen Aerialbot Warriors, the Beast Machines Aero Drones, the Generation 1 Air Sharks, the Generation 1 Air Warriors, the Beast Machines Artillery Drones, the War for Cybertron Artillery Specialists, the Armada Artillery Unit Decepticlones, the Revenge Of The Fallen Autobot Captains, the Revenge Of The Fallen Autobot Melee Warriors, the Revenge Of The Fallen Autobot Ranged Warriors, and the Revenge Of The Fallen Autobot Sergeants among others. Fourthly, I have my armies in legions going all the way to infinity because I'm preparing for any world-ending scenario involving the big bad having an army capable of crushing the armies of Earth's various militaries. Such as the Battle of Armageddon and the final battle between God and Mephistopheles. And fifthly, I just had to show off my prowess in using a sword."

(Quick author's note: Just because Steel Butterfly has created human-sized replicas of specific generic Transformers characters doesn't mean this is automatically becoming a crossover between Miraculous Ladybug and Transformers.)

Ladybug rolled her eyes fondly as she replies, "But are you sure that you need that many foot soldiers? I mean, even if Hawk Moth manages to Akumatize the total human population of the world, criminals and other kinds of bad people excluded, we wouldn't need that many foot soldiers just in case Hawk Moth manages to Akumatize even your armies."

Steel Butterfly replies, "I'm positive I need that many foot soldiers. I know what I'm doing."

Ladybug and Cat Noir departed from Steel Butterfly's lair on a good note.

During patrol that night, Bunnyx further proved herself worthy of the Rabbit Miraculous by informing everyone else about the next Akumatization to avert if possible: Mylene Haprele, aka Horrificator, a monstrous supervillain with the ability to spit a highly durable goo that can be used to barricade exits and trap people, the ability to grow larger when people show fear in front of her, and superhuman strength.

The heroes made plans to try to avert Mylene's Akumatization into Horrificator, while simultaneously taking breathing lessons and overcoming fear lessons in case their efforts fail.

The End.

(Author's notes: Yep, Steel Butterfly has massive armies amounting all the way to infinity to prepare for not only Heroes' Day, but also for any event in the following: a rogue Future Bunnyx bringing the primary reality's Hawk Moth into this timeline, an unknown event eerily similar to Crisis On Infinite Earths and/or the Transformers Legacy Trilogy, another unknown event eerily similar to the Battle for Earth in Avengers: Endgame, another event eerily similar to the events of Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising, another battle eerily similar to the Vehicon War from Transformers Beast Machines, and most importantly, the Battle of Armageddon! But will Steel Butterfly's armies be enough for all of that? We'll find out in the future of this story.

See you all in chapter 16: Horrificator.)
