Chapter 1: From troubled and humble beginning's
The sun was shining, the birds where chirping about happily and the stream was flowing ever so gently. The clearing just outside of Naruto's little town was peaceful as all would expect but what one wouldn't expect is the two graves he was standing in front of. Naruto Uzumaki was a young boy of seven, with crazy colored hair and eyes that made him stand out amongst the other kids in the orphanage. He had spike hair that had crimson tips that bled into a blond color and turned white as soon as it was near his scalp. Though it was his eyes that where really different as they were plus shaped with a thin horizontal stripe in it that was crossed by a slightly thicker stripe crossed over it resting in his magenta colored iris. The matriarch told him his eyes and his hair was from the special type of magic that his mother gave him. You see both his parents are wizards and until a month ago he had bright magenta eyes and blond hair until his magic unlocked. Two days after the matriarch said that she would give him his things and a bit of money to join a guild and learn to use his magic properly. What he didn't know is that amongst those things would be something so rare there has only been one wizard to use it before.
"Oh, Naruto are you ready to join a guild?" The nice matriarch asked as she inspected him. "Yup and I heard a lot of kids my age are joining a guild called Fairy Tale, so I was hoping to learn from them. The thing also said that they have a wizard who uses magic similar to the one my mom gave me!" He responded as he double checked his pockets and everything to make sure he got everything he needed. "Well before you go I have three things your parents left behind in case you unlocked your magic." The matriarch said as she pulled out two scrolls and an ornate box. "The scroll with the Hummingbird on it was your fathers as he made runes to hold all his stuff in there and only magic similar to his that would have to be from a descendent of his can get the stuff from it. The same is said for your mothers scroll that has the spiral on it." She said watching as the young boy in front of her absorbed the information like a sponge. "So, what's in the box?" Naruto asked pocketing the two scrolls in a hidden pocket near his heart. "That my dear I don't know as you need a key to open it and I can only presume it's in one of those scrolls. But if you really are going to Fairy Tale you will have plenty of time on the train ride over to Magnolia to find the key and unlock it." She said as she led the young Uzumaki out towards the train station. "Though if I had to guess it was given with your fathers scroll so the key may be in there." She said as she watched the ex-blond walk up and give a teary good by as the train took off down the tracks.
Settling down during the fifteen hour train ride he pulled out the scroll with a hummingbird on it in an attempt to find the key to the box. Channeling a small amount of magic into it two scrolls, a Key, and a note popped out. Reading the note gave him lots of insight to his parents and who they were. 'Dear my little Naruto, I am so sorry you couldn't grow up with us there to protect you, but we had a job as parents to keep you safe. From my scroll you have half of your inheritance to spell scrolls for my strongest spells the Shadow Clone and the Rasangan two very powerful spells even if no one but my wife and Makarov have seen me use the Rasangan. The key however has an interesting story behind it and one it can tell you itself. Open the box and pull out the jade card and chant "I summon thee from the Jade Gates: Year Five Jeido" He can explain what happened to us and what he has a request from you. Love your father, Minato Namikaze' Taking the key away from the scroll he sent magic into the runes again to restore the note and two scrolls.
Making sure all the box's blinds are closed so no one could see in at what the strange looking kid was doing did he unlock the ornate box and see two things a note and a Jade card that had the kanji for five and for dragon on the back. The note just had a repeat of the summoning incantation and so he held the card up to see what the other side looked like but all it showed was a picture of a man in jade samurai armor and wielding a deadly looking katana. Seeing no harm in summoning whatever it was he channeled magic into the card and said the chant. "I summon thee from the Jade Gates: Year Five, Jeido!". As soon as the chant was finished a loud gong sound rang out and after Naruto got his vision back all he saw was a man sitting across from him in jade robes and his long emerald green hair done in a ponytail.
"You must be little Naruto am I right?" He spoke in a deep and authoritative voice. Not trusting his own voice Naruto just nodded. "Well then I can tell you have a lot of questions so I will do my best to answer any you may have at the time." The man said trying to not intimidate the poor lad. "Who and what are you?" asked Naruto feeling that was an important question. "My name is Jeido, I am bound to the Jade card you have in your possession I am similar to Leo the lion of the Celestial Gate Keys; I am the second in command and active ruler of the Jade Cards which originate from a land very far east but due to some unfortunate circumstances we were brought out west to find a new summoner. Though unlike the Celestial Sprit World where the Celestial Spirit King stays all the time and provides energy to his realm our ruler the Jade Emperor left after sealing all but twelve of us into a tree, those twelve are referred to as the Jade Zodiac. But over time with no summoners and no Emperor to constantly provide support all but me, being the leader, got sealed away until someone found my card." Jeido responded pleased to share this tidbit of knowledge with Naruto. "What circumstances and why did the Jade Emperor leave?" Naruto continued the line of questioning. "A high concentration of bane particles hit the island that the cards originally came from causing any who had the possibility of summoning us to either end up dead or unable to use magic again. As to why the Emperor left is that he wanted to explore the cosmos and ended up getting lost as he was supposed to be back about two hundred years ago but due to the low strain on his massive magic reserves wasn't able to find his way back." Jeido responded grumbling under his breath that he could have at least taken one of the more competent navigators with him to guide him back. "So how did your card end up with me?" Naruto asked as that was the last question he could think of importance. "It all has to do with your mother." He started earning Naruto's rapt attention at the mention of his mom. "She had a rare form of take over magic as when she tried it the first time she got a being that wasn't quite your typical beast. Most things a takeover mage can take the shape of is determined by one of two factors the first being the form of the beast you have first contact with. For example, if you first have contact with a fluffy bunny you would end up more inclined to animals as your takeover option. The second one is the one that affects you because of the special nature of your mothers bond. Her one take over soul when you were born brought all its kin to try and overload your magic system but that didn't work and now you have more magic than you could ever use." Jeido responded. "So, what was so special about my mom's takeover?" Naruto asked. "Most takeover magic is on beings that don't have a conscience or magic system. The only exception to this is demons as they have conscience. Well, that was the only exception till your mother found a primordial being that both had a conscience and a magic system so when you were born it was passed on to you and tried to summon its kin to help free it but that didn't work as your magic absorbed them as well."
They continued to talk all the way to Magnolia town as the train chugged along the track for the remaining fourteen hours until Naruto would join Fiore's most popular growing guild.
