"Some vampires are born with another color of eyes, purple or red, we will say that you are one of them." Dracula said, opening the door.
Dracula leaves the storage room pushing Johnny and Helena, by Helena's fangs he told her to pretend to be a vampire, so he only changed her makeup for black lipstick, something that did not bother her, for the black style of her clothes there would be no problem.
"Check it out I'm a Franken-Homie!" Johnny grinned in excitement as Dracula pushed him and Helena.
"This is crazy." Helena whispered to Dracula.
Dracula knew she was right, but she should try for the sake of his hotel.
"Yes, hello," Dracula said.
"Look at meee!" Johnny said.
"This is totally normal, not a problem here. These are just monsters with me." Dracula smiled, pretending as if nothing weird is going on.
Helena rolls her eyes, it was obvious that someone would be suspicious with that nervous look of Dracula, it shows that he does not know how to pretend.
"Everybody stepped it up tonight. Wait, why are we going to the front door? Are we leaving?" Johnny asked as he's pushed toward the door.
"Wait what ?!" Helena watches as they approach the door. "Wait! I can't leave! You took my..."
"Bonjour, Monsieur Dracula!" Quasimodo, the head chef, came nose to nose with Johnny.
"Hey sniffy, what's going on?" Johnny ask.
Dracula hides Johnny and Helena behind him.
"And who is he?" Helena asked.
"Not right now, Quasimodo." Dracula said, clearly distressed.
A little rat, which is Esmeralda, the chef's pet, comes down from the shadow, begins to scream, jumps towards Dracula, offending him. Dracula broke into a cold sweat when Esmeralda smelled him, she stopped and squeaked again at Quasimodo, indicating that she had found something.
"What?" Quasimodo asked. Esmeralda squeaked again. He scoffed. "No, don't be absurd, iz not a human iz Monsieur Dracula."
Dracula chuckled nervously
"How ridiculous, of course it's me." Dracula grabs the rat and threw her into one of the open elevators.
"Does that rat detect humans?" Helena thought incredulously, they were in serious trouble with that rat since she could give them away, or just Johnny, or maybe the essence of her human side was so strong that the rat believed she was human.
"Monsieur, ze deviled lizard fingers." Quasimodo presented the tray held up by one the gargoyle waiters.
Dracula stopped his awkward laughing. He didn't like what the chef had made him.
"Deviled lizard fingers?! I asked for spleens and blankets!"
Quasimodo turned to the gargoyle and began yelling at him while shoving the food at his face.
"Another case of not accepting your own mistakes." Helena whispered, rolling her eyes.
Johnny nudges Helena and gestures for her to escape, Helena receives the message and they both begin exploring the lobby.
Helena looked at each monster around her, there were many, too many, it was like a dream come true, but at the same time she wanted it to end.
She looked around, just noticing where she was going, that's why he feels something small crash against her leg, she looks down and looks at a pale brown fur wolf child with dark hair wearing a T-shirt that has the image of a skull, he has a spiked collar and yellow eyes.
"Hello little one." Helena kneels down, the boy stares at her. "How cute you are, what is your name?" she asked with a smile.
"I am Will."
"Hi Will." Helena reaches out her hand to shake it with his. "My name is Helena."
"Hello Helena." Will smiles. "I've never seen you around here."
"Well then ..." Helena quickly thinks of a lie. "It's my first time at the hotel."
"First time?" Will asked incredulously, Helena nods quickly. "But, my mom said all monsters come here." he said confused.
"Well yes, but there are many monsters in the world who live far away and cannot come." Helena smiles nervously.
Will shrugs, Helena sighs in relief that she believed him, or so she hoped.
"You are single?" Will asked with a big smile.
Helena laughs a little and pats him on the head. He was not the first child to ask her that.
Meanwhile, Johnny had made his way to a female skeleton standing in the lobby.
"Whoa, check that costume out! Seriously, how are you pulling this off? It's like I can..." And when he put his hand through her ribcage, he only made her scream.
"Hey, what do you think you're doing?!" asked a very angry skeleton man
"Uh...she's...she's real. You're real." Johnny asked while shaking.
"Oh no, Johnny." Helena looks at him from a distance. He was already realizing what is happening around her.
"What's wrong with that guy?" Will asked confused by Johnny's reaction.
"Yeah! And I'll give you a real beating!" yelled the angry skeleton. "Keep your hand out of my wife!"
He punches Johnny in the face, sending him back into the giant foot of Bigfoot. Finally, it was too much for Johnny and he began to scream in sheer panic, realizing that this was no costume party and every monster in the lobby is real.
Dracula heard the screams and turns around to see neither Johnny nor Helena are behind him anymore.
"Oh, no!" Dracula gasped, and then headed off to find them as soon as possible.
"Oh no, see you later Will!" Helena runs to Johnny.
"Wait!" Will follows her.
"Johnny calm down, calm down." Helena tries to calm him down.
Johnny continued to scream, his screams are extremely loud that caused a Mexican skeleton band to start playing a tune.
"Mariachis?" Helena asked in surprise, forgetting about Johnny for a moment.
"They sing well, but my brothers and I like to bite their bones." Will said maliciously.
"At least there is Mexican music." Helena smiles a little, but when she hears Johnny's screams she remembers him. "Oh no, Johnny wait, don't yell!"
Johnny began running around like a mad man having his arms out waving about. He stepped on a brain which floated up and hissed at him. Johnny ran away in disgust until he bonked heads with the Headless Horseman who is the hearse driver making his pumpkin head fall off. Johnny screamed looking down the hole and took off. He encountered some more monsters like the gargoyle waiters, coming face to face with a large fly. A giant tarantula walked over him and Johnny got even more freaked out, trembling with fear.
"Johnny wait!" Helena runs after him, followed by Will.
Dracula looked around for Johnny and he gaped when he spotted him sliding down a trail of slime made by the green blob monster. He bounced off and crashed into the witch who was still sweeping and grabbed her broom, which caused the broom to take off before Dracula could catch him.
"Wow !, I thought only witches could fly on the broom!" Said Will surprised.
"This is going from bad to worse." Helena said, standing next to Dracula.
Johnny is heading towards Helena now, Dracula realizes that he is about to hit her and he quickly takes her in his arms and quickly pushes her away before Johnny hit her.
Dracula looks at Helena and she at him and they realize how close they are to each other, forgetting about their surroundings, that Johnny is flying uncontrollably with the broom. Without both of them slowly realizing it, their faces started to get closer, but came back to reality after Will coughed, staring at them sternly, especially at Dracula.
They both blush when they see that their faces were a little close, Dracula lowers her and turns his back to her in shame.
"Are you ok?" Dracula asked.
"Yes, thank you." Helena folded her arms.
"Watch out!" Johnny screamed, almost past his head.
They both duck to avoid being hit and watch as Johnny continues to fly uncontrollably.
At that time, Mavis was walking down the staircase helping Wanda, a pale brown pregnant werewolf with green eyes and wears a long yellow dress with little flowers, down the steps.
"Honey, we didn't know where you were."Wanda said. "We thought you were still out."
"Oh no, I don't know why I ever wanted to leave." Mavis replied. "The humans were so boring."
"Watch out!" Helena yelled at Wanda and Mavis.
"Mom, watch out!" yelled Will.
Johnny flew close to them, they both turned but it was too late for Mavis to move. Johnny crashed into her so hard they both fell to the ground. They both sat up, groaning in pain. Mavis rubbed her forehead for a moment, then looked at who she bumped into.
They both look into each other's eyes, their eyes release that momentary purple glow, forgetting about their surroundings and what just happened.
However, Dracula got in the way, shielding off Johnny with his cape.
"Mavis, honey, are you alright?" Dracula asked concerned.
"Yeah, I think so. That was weird." Mavis replied, dazed.
"You're okay Johnny." Helena helps him up.
"Ohh, my head hurts." Johnny groaned.
"What were you thinking about flying that broom?" she asked annoyed.
"Umm, who are they?" Mavis curiously pointed to the strangers behind her dad's cape.
"Who is what?" Dracula innocently asked, but then smirked sheepishly as if it wasn't important. "Oh! Oh, that? That is eh…nobody."
"Seriously, Dad." Mavis replied, she knew that her father was hiding something.
"DAD?!" Johnny move aside Dracula's cape, his eyes widened in surprise.
"Yeah, I know. Dracula's daughter. Everyone freaks out at first." Mavis rolled her eyes.
"DRACULA?!" Johnny yelled, his hysteria got bigger.
"I knew it!" Helena looked at Dracula, now it was more than confirmed that he was Count Dracula.
"Okay, we gotta go." Dracula quickly took both Johnny and Helena away with a swish of his cape, and rushed up the stairs.
Mavis followed her father with her eyes, she knew he was hiding something.
"Hey! Where are you taking Helena ?!" Will asked annoyed.
"There is Will!" the voice of a child was heard
Suddenly, a group of werewolf children rushed towards Will before he could react.
