The Magic of Family
After dinner, the entire Weasley family gathered in the lounge before the younger children went to bed.
Arthur sat on the sofa and held little Ginny close. As she drowsed on his lap with her plush owl, he looked out over the room and marveled that all of his red-haired progeny were actually in the same room at the same time.
The teenagers, Bill and Charlie, home from Hogwarts for the winter holidays, were engaged in playing a spirited game of "Goblins and Dragons" on the side table.
Percy was curled up in the chair opposite them while he read a book.
Fred and George had their heads together in the corner…as they no doubt plotted some sort of mischief and/or mayhem.
Ron played with some random chess pieces on the floor by the fire while he happily munched on a biscuit.
With a full heart, Arthur looked over to catch the eye of his Mollywobbles from where she sat across the room in her favorite knitting chair and finished the current set of Christmas jumpers. They smiled...first at each other...and then with parental pride at the magical scene of sweet domesticity in front of them.
