It was the first Hogsmeade visit after the Yule Ball, and Cho had agreed to accompany Cedric there when he asked.
The Scottish winter wind was miserably frigid, however, and Cho wrapped her arms around herself tighter as they made their way to the village. Cedric noticed her discomfort and, ever the Hufflepuff gentleman, quickly went to shrug off his own outer robes to give to her.
Cho smiled at his chivalry, but declined his offer. "I'm a capable Ravenclaw witch, you know," she reminded him as she pulled out her wand and cast a warming charm over them both.
