Ronnie Anne (Narrating): "This is a story, where my life takes an interesting turn, a story where I met someone who became a friend that I could not live without.
Sid: "Ooo…Is it me?"
Ronnie Anne: "Well, you are a friend that I could not live without Sid. But this is before you and I met, even before I moved to Great Lake City."
Sid (Excited): "Oh…I think I know who it is."
Ronnie Anne: "Anyway…"
We begin Ronnie Anne's tale in Royal Woods Elementary.
School Bell: "Ring!"
Ronnie Anne (Walks out of class): "Sigh!"
Student (Walks pass her): "See you tomorrow, Ronnie Anne."
Ronnie Anne (Not sure what to say): "Yeah…bye."
Another student: "See ya Ronnie."
With wanting to get of there, the girl gets on her skateboard and starts to roll down the hall. But…
Ronnie Annie (Collides with someone and flies off her board): "Whoa!" (Lands on the floor): "Oof!" (Starts to gets up): "Augh…"
? (Comes up to her): "Are you okay?"
Ronnie Anne: "Yeah, I think so."
? (Helps her up): "You really shouldn't be doing that. Someone could have gotten hurt."
Ronnie Annie (Chuckles): "Ha-ha! Man, you sound like my brother."
?: "Well, I am a brother to ten sisters."
Ronnie Anne: "Well thanks for the…" (Turns around): "…help."
Lincoln (Standing in front of her with her skateboard in hand): "No problem." (Hands the board to her): "Here's your board."
Ronnie Anne (Takes it with a blank face): "Thanks."
Lincoln (Stretch out his hands): "I'm Lincoln, what's your name?"
Ronnie Anne (Shakes hands with the boy, while a little smile forms on her face): "Ronnie Anne…"
Lincoln: "Nice to meet you Ronnie Anne…" (Realizes something): "Dang it!" (Checks his watch): "I have to go!" (Hurries off): "See you around."
Ronnie Anne (Slowly waves): "Yeah…see you around."
Ronnie Anne (Narrating): "And that was only the beginning. As the weeks went on, I kept seeing Lincoln around more and more…and it was not just at school. I saw him hanging around places like the Burpin' Burger, the arcade and other places that I like to hang out at. It turns out that we have a lot more in common than I thought. I really wanted to talk to him and be friends, but…I was very shy at the time and didn't even know what to say. So…"
We continue this tale at the Rolay Woods home of Ronnie Anne, Bobby, and their Mother Maria Santiago.
Bobby (Walks through the front door): "Hey, I home!"
Ronnie Anne (Calling from upstairs): "Bobby...can you come to my room for a sec?"
Bobby: "Huh?" (Walks up the stairs and into his sister's bedroom): "Hey sis." (Sees Ronnie Anne sitting on her bed and walks up to her): "What's up?"
Ronnie Anne (With an unsure look on her face): "Can... I ask you something?"
Bobby (Sits down next to her): "Of course you can."
Ronnie Anne: "Well..." (Looks away): "Let's say I meant somebody at school and found out that we...like the same things, but I don't know what to say to him...I mean them and I really want to be friends with this person. How would I do that?"
Bobby: "Sis, there's nothing wrong with making a new friend. And it doesn't matter if it's a boy or not, you just got to be yourself and talk to them."
Ronnie Anne: "But...sigh!" (Looks up at him): "But if he won't pay attention to me?"
Bobby (Shock to hear this): "Ronnie Anne! Why would he not pay attention to you?! You're amazing!"
Ronnie Anne: "Thanks Bobby. It's just...I don't how to get his attention."
Bobby: "I don't think you should worry about that. You sure get my attention when you want it."
Ronnie Anne (Gets an idea): "Hmmm...you might be on to something."
Bobby (With a smile): "See. If you want, I can..."
Ronnie Anne (Runs out of her room): "Thanks Bobby! You're the best."
Bobby: "Umm...your welcome sis!"
Ronnie Anne (Narrating): "So, I took Bobby's advice to heart. But I sort of took it the wrong way. You see…" (Starts to blush a bit): "…I…man…I was kind of a bully to Lincoln...it's not what you think…I sometimes pulled pranks on Bobby and embarrass him a bit, you know he's my brother…but…I guess Lincoln took it the wrong way."
Sid (Shocked to hear this): "I can't believe this!"
Ronnie Anne: "Sid, I change from that. Even though I still pull pranks once and while, I understand now that not everybody appreciates them and should be used to get them to laugh with me, not me laughing at them."
Sid (Takes a deep breath): "Sigh. Yeah…I think I get it, I used to not understand that not everyone is comfortably around animals and it's not okay to just bring any stray animal home to take care of it."
Ronnie Anne (With a bit of worry in her voice): "Are still…you know…best friends?"
Sid: "Gasp!" (Hugs her friend with a huge smile on her face): "Of course we are! Nobody can ever replace you!"
Ronnie Anne (Relieved): "I'm so glad to hear that."
Sid (Still hugging her friend): "Mmm…"
Ronnie Anne: "Umm…Sid? Do you think you can let me go now, so I can continue my story?"
Sid: "Oops…" (Breaks up the hug): "Sorry!"
Ronnie Anne: "It's all good. Anyway, after a misunderstanding and a few text conversations, me and Linc decided to hang out at the county fair together one day."
Sid: "Ooo...Fun!"
Ronnie Anne: "It was."
And that's where this tale continues...
Lincoln (With a smile): "Hey Ronnie Anne!"
Ronnie Anne (With a sly smile): "Thanks for waiting by the gate for me Lame-O."
Lincoln: "Of course...Loser."
Lincoln and Ronnie Anne: "Hahaha!"
Ronnie Anne (Narrating as the story goes along): "So, we went in. And I could tell that Lincoln was a bit nervous. I was too, but you can't really blame us though. It was our first time actually hanging out together, so it makes sense for us to be a bit worried about easily hurting the other one's feelings by accidentally saying the wrong thing."
Sid (Chimes in): "Or doing the wrong thing."
Ronnie Anne: "That too. Anyway, we had a ton of fun at the fair. We played games..."
Lincoln (Playing a water balloon squitter game): "You're going down Ronnie Anne!"
Ronnie Anne: "Oh, we'll see about that!"
Ronnie Anne (Narrating): "Ate some cotton candy..."
Lincoln and Ronnie Anne (Walking along): "Mmmmm..."
Ronnie Anne (Narrating): "And went on the hay ride. But ...it was pretty bumpy!"
Lincoln (Holds his stomach): "I don't feel so good."
Ronnie Anne (Holds in her own): "Me either."
Ronnie Anne (Narrating): "And after that day, Lincoln and I were best friends ever since."
Sid: "Aww!"
Carl (Barges in): "Alright! Alright! Now that you're done with your story, it's time for me to tell mine!"
Maria: "When can I tell my story? It's about the day when my little girl was first born."
Ronnie Anne (Blushes): "Mom?!"
Frida: "What about my story?"
Rosa: "And mine?"
Sid: "Uh, oh..."
The end...kind of?
