Harry settled between Sirius and Remus on the sofa with a smile. "Harry," Sirius spoke seriously, "there's something I need to discuss with you." Remus' head tilted. "What is it?"

"Nothing to concern yourself about," he replied with a smile.

Harry looked at his godfather, who blew out a breath. "Harry, your Dad and I were bullies." The teen froze. "I know you won't like it, but I feel you need to know. We only ever picked on one person."

"Professor Snape," he spoke firmly.

"Yes, his hatred is well-deserved," he stated. "The reason your Dad did it was because he was jealous." Harry blinked. "The first moment he saw your Mum, he fell in love with her," he informed. "The first time he witnessed the friendship between her and Severus, his jealousy got the better of him and he lashed out at the other boy, scuppering his chances with her for a very long time. It took him until seventh year to convince her that he was genuinely in love with her."

"He loved her that long?" he murmured.

"There was only ever your Mum for your Dad," he spoke fondly.

"But why did you do it?" he asked after a moment. Sirius blushed. "You're attracted to him," he breathed. Emotions flicked across his godfather's expression. "Yes, he's attractive too, but I don't want to think about him that way anymore than I do the two of you." The corners of his lips kicked up. "If you want to…I'd be supportive," he spoke.

Sirius wrapped his arm around his shoulders. "I know you would be," he stated, hugging his godson tight. "Forgive me?"

"I don't like it, but I still love you," he replied honestly. "Tell me you'll try and make up to him for what you did?"

"Already planning on it," he promised, kissing the top of his head. "Was there something you wanted to talk to me about?" Harry blushed and nodded. "Go ahead."

"Okay Potter," Draco drawled, "now you've got me curious."

"What?" Harry asked, turned toward the blonde without looking at him.

"Last year, you were unable to look at Severus, and now you can, but are unable to look me in the eye."

"I can too," he retorted, deliberately looking at the blonde's face, but fixing his gaze at his forehead.

Draco ducked so that their gazes met and Harry immediately averted his gaze. The blonde let out an irritated huff. "I don't like it," he stated, crossing his arms. "Be a Gryffindor and admit it, so you can look at me again."

Harry's gaze flew to his. "You like it when I look at you?" he murmured eyes wide in surprise.

"I like it when your attention is on me," he drawled.

Harry licked his lips. "Why?"

"Why wouldn't I?" he retorted. "We're rivals, the least you can do is pay attention to me."

Harry straightened his shoulders and lifted his chin. "Is there another reason?"

"Would you like there to be?" The brunet's bright green eyes narrowed. "I'm a Slytherin, you can't blame me," he replied with a grin.

Harry tilted his head. "You're very attractive," he stated.

"Ah, embarrassed you realised?" the blonde murmured with a pleased smile.

"You like that I noticed?"

"I like your attention, and I enjoy others noticing my attractiveness, of course I like the two of them to be combined."

He sighed. "Just don't laugh at me," he begged. The blonde's eyebrows arched. Harry held out his hand and the snake stilled for a moment and took it.

"Why would I laugh at you?" he murmured.

"The chance to get back at me?" he retorted. "Truce?"

"Truce," the blonde responded firmly. He used his grip on Harry's hand to tug him into a kiss.

"Thank Merlin," Harry breathed the moment they parted, and pulled the blonde into another kiss.

Draco pulled back, smiling at the lion's disappointed noise. "Ah," he murmured, "you're attracted to me."

"I can't believe you want me," Harry breathed, then blushed.

Draco cupped his cheek gently. "I have wanted you since the first moment I saw you," he stated. Harry looked up at him with wide, startled eyes. "Why do you think I was babbling?"

He leant into the touch. "Was everything a way to get my attention?" he asked softly.

"There was some injured pride in there at the start," he stated, "but other than that, yes."

Harry leant up and kissed the blonde sweetly. Draco's smile was warm when he pulled back. The lion retreated a step as a thought occurred to him. "Draco, your father-"

The blonde stilled his words with gentle fingers on his lion's lips. "Made his own choices, and I'll make mine," he spoke firmly.

"But-"

"I will not give you up, now I finally have you, to make my father happy," he spoke, an undercurrent of steel beneath his words. He cradled his lion's cheek gently. "You are the only one that could entice me to let you go," he spoke, gently stroking the brunet's skin with his thumb. "Please don't."

Harry leant into the touch. "I don't have it in me, unless it was to protect you," he added.

"Far too noble," he murmured ducking his head for another kiss his lion gladly returned.

Harry pulled back. "Draco-"

The blonde silenced him with a kiss. "I realise you keep thinking of problems, but please, let me have this moment," he beseeched, voice soft.

Harry linked their fingers together. "Let me know when the moment's over," he replied, leaning up to kiss the blonde again. Draco cupped the back of his head, his tongue slipping into his lion's mouth the moment he parted his lips.
