Notes: A continuation of this, for no reason. Seriously, its boring to read these kind of things since it makes any 'issue' seem like a frivolity. Overpowered is fun to a point, but then it becomes boring. Anyway this was mostly written rather quickly, so mistakes are expected. Keep in mind, these are just snippets and probably not going to make it into the main story. Not sure how I feel about this chapter, it just doesn't feel like my type of story really. These three short stories are basically Harry that had become so overpowered that there was literally nothing anyone could do to stop him, really. Each in their own way.

I don't know, I just wasn't feeling it when writing this one out. It was written rather quickly and in a single setting.

10/21/2021- It should please some that the next chapters of Gamer Potter: Fighting Chance(Chp 7) is about 3k words in, Fighting Chance Chakra Edition(chp 6) is also about 2.5k in. If anyone has any plot point ideas for the gamer series, especially for an omake, please let me know and it may be a coming story or chapter, probably.

Overpowered Potter II

OooOooO

Speed

Harry had decided to try something, interesting. He had noticed that jumping and running had somehow increased certain stats, and gave him a very slight advantage, it really wasn't noticable at these levels, but if he kept at it? The possiblities were endless!

So with that thought, the boy ran and jumped, increasing the distance in both quite slowly. He would cherish most clothing items and accessories to increase both stats with percentage gains rather than a flat number. Something he learned a while ago!

After all, a +10 to AGI wasn't as impressive when the number was nearing the quadruple digits now was it. However, a 5% AGI buff across it's entire number before the increase? Now we're talking serious numbers.

How does this factor into his idea? Well, the usual jump height to an untrained person was usually small, and from the lack of practice. The average speed a person can run is also somewhat steady, if slow unless it is also trained.

The point being, Harry did nothing but increase his speed and his mobility to a high degree, naturally. Specifically his run and jump speed and distance. In theory, this meant nothing outrageous, just that he was 'above average' for his age group.

To the game though, where most gymnasts top out around the mid to higher double digit AGI stats, Harry was sitting at a whopping eight-hundred odd stat buff. During this time, he was also forced to practice other things that were in the AGI stats listing and skillsets. To keep up with this, he had also had to increase his perception, and his wisdom stats as well. As a direct effect he lost out slightly on other stats. He couldn't punch as hard, any weapons he used were probably going to be below average in power used.

Yet he was able to make use of momentum type of weapons, with devastating results. Not to mention he was pure speed at this point as well, before the use of AGI enhancing gear.

This meant that Harry could move up to speeds of thirty three miles per hour before his gear, with it? Perhaps a speed of forty miles per hour. For reference, a pro athlete could probably top off at about twenty-three miles per hour, maybe even twenty-six if they really reached their peak, and limited to sprinting distances rather than any real distance for any period of time. For the boy? He could keep their top speed at a decent clip for maybe a bit, he hadn't really tested the timing for that yet, and it was like a quick jog to him. If he kept at his full potential speed, for any real period of time, he might break something, a lesson he learned the hard way a few times.

That was why he had also increased his CON stats as well, to at least help mitigate the problem.

Currently? Well, he was being put through the paces.

Dodging through spellfire was annoying, especially since he had to keep everything in a constant swival to avoid the random spells. Sure some surged quite fast towards him, meaning he had to block with a buckler spell, swiping it to the side. Others he could simply drift out of their way.

This was meant to make openings his party could utilize and capitalize on. It was a dangerous game of cat and mouse, each of the spells thrown were deadly. Even being clipped by one was basically a game ender. Still, he had to make this count!

Weaving through the spellfire the boy could only be thankful that luck was usually on his side, bolstering his skillset when he was blindsided. Still, even he knew it was folly to tempt fate, so kept his opinions to himself. It was then something... momentous happened.

The world seemed to come to a sudden crawl, and Harry couldn't do much about it, just yet. Just in his periphery he seen a natural stat increase. Sure they were rare now at this stage, but when it happened? It was like a rush!

Still, there wasn't much he could do to capitalize the situation except plan his next step.

It was a combination of Perception and Agility that brought this on, something he figured he would never reach for a while. Using sheer will command, he dumped points into both strength, and constitution. He had read about this once, that the body would move so fast that the body would tear itself apart unless specifically prepared for it. Feeling everything tighten up, Harry knew it worked, now to see if he could beat the natural resistance of the very air around him.

It was like trying to move through settling concrete. Like he was being weighed down by everything, the very air around him rippled as it was forced away from him. The sheer agony of moving. It was a miracle he hadn't instantly died.

Still, if he was careful, he should be able to get within range of the casters.

To him, time seemed irrelevant, everything was moving agonizingly slow. He belatedly noticed that the edges of his clothes that weren't protected started to wear apart, fraying here and there. Not to mention the small bits that did break off had immediately burst into flames. It was a disconcerting experience to say the least.

By now most spellfire had ceased, the Death Eaters now pausing to watch in wonderment at what was going on as he basically blurred to them. His actual target was now desperately trying to fire as many spells as possible at him. Harry could actually see a spell forming up long after the first cleared, watching the very magic course through the wand to the tip. It was mesmerizing, and scary. Still, he pushed forward, his body starting to catch up now!

He never really noticed that moment where stats effects were noticable, since it felt fast. Now he knew better, his reaction was starting to catch up, still at a slower pace, but at least now he didn't feel like he was trying to move through cement, but rather lukewarm molasses.

A random thought occured to him, that with how fast he was going, he surely shouldn't have been able to even move, since the faster he went the heavier he became. This should not be possible...

And yet...

OoO

All spells stopped instantly since Harry Potter blurred in place before an after image sprinted in a blink of an eye! The Death Eater was sent rolling along the ground, a terrible crunching noise following each roll. Everyone could only stare wide eyed as the boy appeared, bits of smoke curling off of him, his armor singed here and there.

"I can move faster!" the boy suddenly shouted!

Every Death Eater suddenly got their wits back and started firing everything they had at the boy, who seemed to fuzz and blur in place, allowing the spells to simply pass by and through him! A sudden dust cloud formed around him as the spells died down.

The only one with a high enough perception to even see what was going on was Hermione, and even then the boy moved like a blur avoiding each spell cast. The very ground itself cracking and breaking apart from under his feet until it was all kicked up blocking him from view!

OoO

Harry still felt like he was wading through something dense, and still he was faster than any spell thrown at him. His perception skill allowed him to judge where their spells might likely land when cast, allowing him to even dodge sudden spells that have instant effect. So long as he could keep them all within sight at least.

It was at this point he noticed another problem, his speed was such that the very earth couldn't really contain it. He noticed it this time because his foot hold was weakening, like he was trying to walk through fine sand.

With that in mind, the boy took off, breaking through the dust cloud that was slowly forming up around him, making his way to the next Death Eater, finding that all he really needed to do was gently shove them to get the desired effect, lightly flicking the wand, watching it splinter before sparks slowly started to form.

Really, leathal force had been authorized to bring these people in or down. All it took was a careful set of questions about initiation and the dark mark for it to happen.

Still, it would be nice to have some prisoners to bring in, so mindful of that Harry tried his best to disable rather than kill.

Eyewitnesses would all agree, Harry was beyond fast. No it wasn't a recent thing, yes he was quick before, but not like this.

This also turned the Unspeakables attention to him, and his party. Sure they managed to take down Voldemort and his crew once this was found out, but now they were on the run from their very government.

Harry had no idea that his incredible speed would cause this much scrutiny, and had regretted it only slightly. He could strive to continue training it, eventually breaking the barrier of space and time. Him and his party fading into legends as they each increased their own interest right along with him. Peace and Prosperity had reigned, if only because they were hard at work to keep it that way. Many would thank them for their continued work. Many would elevate them to Deity Status for one reason or another.

When in truth, they had accidentally stepped out of time, and were able to easily influence it. Seeing no reason to step back into the timeline. Thanks to each other's skillsets, they had no real need to interact with the 'real world' anymore, and had decided to... Expand.

(um... end scene?)

Two Spells

Harry had been practicing a new spell chain, he called it the [Rain of Steel].

Others called it terrifying.

It was basically what it is, a literal rain of steel. Various weapons sent flying in such quantities that it would blot out the sun. And this was the first actual use of the spell. An invading force comprised of many mercenaries, zealots, fanatics, and creatures were intent on attacking the castle. They would start at Hogwarts, then eventually the rest of the U.K. and Ireland. They were the force of Grindlewald, here to finish what he had started decades ago. So far they were charging through the broken wall that used to be the gate. Hogsmeade had been evacuated to Hogwarts.

Harry waited until they were within the critical zone, where retreat was no longer an option, for any of them. Well within the extended range of the Area of Effect.

With a deep breath Harry activated his conservation rings and speed boost rings. Then he aimed both foci up to the heavens before casting his spell chain, basically at the point where incantations or silly wand wavings were unnecessary.

Those watching could only gape at the veritable storm of arrows, spears, swords, javelins, daggers were launched from both wands.

The advancing army only had moments to stare in fear and awe before being covered, the noise horrendous.

What had been an invading force of a thousand witches, wizards, and whatever else had been reduced to a sudden splotch of carnage as finally the conjurations disappeared. Many of the watchers losing their meals at the sight. Others staring fearfully between the young man and the carnage he had let loose.

Then Harry put both wands to the ground, taking another shaky deep breath before casting more magic.

It was like the very ground rumbled from him to the carnage, as it got closer the ground broke open, growing into a giant chasm! Swallowing one and all, those that were alive screaming in fear as they were taken to the abyss. Suddenly the ground closed up around them, leaving disturbed earth as the only evidence that anything had happened.

Everyone flinched when the man stood up, fearful that he would turn his wrath upon them. Even more shrieking when he turned to look at them. Only his party watched stoically. He only took a hesitant step towards the castle when everyone retreated inside, fearful for their lives.

Dejected, the man drooped his shoulders, before starting to walk away. His party only glanced at each other, then the school. Most staring fearfully outside. They too, followed Harry, knowing that they were no longer welcome.

News would spread fast about the man and his army killer abilities. Various Ministries crying out for his immediate execution, various more calling out for experimentations on him and his party.

Great Power breeds an even Greater Fear.

OooOooO
Pure Sneak

The boy was well and truly lost now. Well, personally he knew exactly where he was, but spiritually and mentally? Lost.

After all, he had singlehandedly robbed the entire wizarding world blind. Many were calling for his alter ego, and other nations were starting to pick up on it.

But it was just so easy! Far easier than trying the same thing with the muggles!

Galleons, Sickles, Knuts? Who needs it, he had so much that he had no idea what to do with it. If he could melt it down and use it as a building resource, he could potentially live in a mansion made of gold, silver, and bronze. With furniture to match! He would never need clothing, especially fancy stuff from all fashion trends. Jewelry? He could turn each window of every room at Hogwarts into 'stained glass' if he truly felt like it.

There was just no challenge anymore with wizards. Wards meant nothing to him, able to even fool blood wards. Able to tap even the most paranoid Unspeakable on the shoulder and get away with it, he even managed to surprise a couple of seers as well, two of which were watching out for each other for such events!

Not even Luna was spared from his hijinks, able to surprise her as much as anyone else. This was an accomplishment that made Harry resent his abilities. He shouldn't have been able to do that to Luna, LUNA of all people!

Hell, he could even pin a note on the Queen herself if he was feeling so bold. Someone who surely had 24/7 surveillance on them. Harry was fairly sure he even startled a few boggarts as well!

The world just wasn't fun anymore, not when he essentially became one with the shadows.

Seriously, he had backed himself into a corner. He had too much points into perception, wisdom, and intellect. A fair bit into Agility and Charisma. He didn't believe in Luck, and usually tried to make up for it in sheer skill. With his knowledge of runes, arithmancy, and various other mental fortitude skills, no secret was safe from him. Nor hidden valuable.

He had also mistakenly brought his telepathy and mind magicks up to a point where it was all passive. Turning his mind into one receiver with no shut off. All it took was a passing whimsy to simply pluck the secrets to someone's mind. Combination codes, passwords, hidden backdoor entry to wards and what not. With his Gamer Mind and Body? He would never forget a single thing, with his near perfect recall.

To sum up, he was bored.
