"That must've been quite the nasty fall, Princess," remarked Dr. Ice Cream, the Candy Kingdom's topmost physician and the one currently bandaging PB's right foot.
"Yes it was, but now that it's all bandaged up you may go." responded the Princess, eager to be left alone with her thoughts. She sat on her bed as she watched the good doctor pack up her medical supplies and head for the door, she could sense that Dr. Ice Cream knew she was lying about the nature of her injury, however, she couldn't bring herself to admit that it was really a byproduct of a visceral reaction of immense anger. After all, she did have an image to protect, what would the loyal Candy subjects think if their seemingly dignified and majestic monarch were actually the sort of compulsive fool who'd begin stomping on rocks in response to displeasing news?
Nevertheless, the injury remained, serving as a physical reminder of the vow Princess Bubblegum had made to herself. That no matter what she would prevent her eternal infatuation, Finn, from once again falling into the clutches of the flaming she-devil who dared to call herself a princess.
It was then that she realized that right at this very moment while she sat on her bed, Finn was elsewhere with that heated virago. The thought disgusted her to no end, yet she just couldn't seem to shake it from her mind. Images of her love, entrapped and forced into a harrowing relationship, flashed in her head. He was pleading with her to save him, to free him.
"PB! Save me! I want to be with you!", she imagined Finn calling out. It was such a displeasing delusion that it made her physically wince. A grimace now evident on her face, the princess attempted to soothe her feelings with her various Finn paraphernalia. She took out her special box, quickly bypassed its security measures, and opened it. The first thing she reached for was a photo of her loving Finn's gentle smile. She had taken it on one of those nights where Finn and Jake just wanted to chill and play video games, and they had invited her over to join them. Princess Bubblegum giggled to herself, remembering that night and how wonderful it felt to be invited to be with her love. The picture and the pleasant memories immediately wash away PB's pent-up negative feelings, replacing them with her familiar feeling of incredible longing and lust for the human hero of Ooo.
The princess stared at the photograph intently, carefully studying every little detail of Finn's face captured on it. She huffed and panted, getting all worked up as usual.
"Finn, Finn, Finn! If only you could be mine!" she shouted to herself, holding the picture up to her face and rubbing it all over her cheek. As her lust intensified, thoughts and fantasies rushed through the princess's mind, some of romance, some of lust. And strangely, these thoughts manifested themselves in a singular action, one which PB did with no thought to it instead acting purely on impulse.
She began licking the photo, eagerly coating it all over in her sugary slobber. It was such a soothing feeling, such a relieving one to her to express her love in a wild fervor like this. Her tongue wormed all over Finn's image, sliding up and down passionately. Then, indulging in whatever perverted desire popped into her head, the princess placed the photo between her supple lips as she moved her hands down her body.
And yet, just as she was beginning to completely lose control, something festered deep in the back of her mind, a sinking sensation of dread and guilt. Despite her attempts to push them down with comforting pictures and lustful acts, the earlier ideas of Finn crying for help came bubbling back to the front of Princess Bubblegum's thoughts. She suddenly dropped the photo out of her mouth and sat straight up, as if she was waking from a nightmare.
Then, suddenly, she imagined a voice, it was the familiar voice of the man she held so dearly.
"PB! Help me, PB!" it cried, though Finn's lips in the still image hadn't moved one bit. However, to the Princess, whose conflicting feelings of lust and guilt jumbled her perception of reality, the photograph seemed to come to life. She saw Finn, reaching out and pleading for her, begging to be rescued. As she stared down at the lifeless image, and her imagination running wild, Princess Bubblegum knew she wanted to do something, she NEEDED to do something. That was when she made up her mind, she would be off immediately to where Finn was, to where Flame Princess, that heated temptress, was filling his mind with false ideas of love and empty promises. The princess sprang up and clutched a walking cane, trying to keep as much weight off her injured foot as she could, and then she set off to save her love and to stop him from making a grave mistake.
"Hold on just a little longer, Finn. I'll be there soon," she muttered as she limped through the door of her bedroom. It appeared that she would make good on her vow sooner than she thought...
