The next day, Danny had called Lina over along with Sam and Tucker. Apparently, he was supposed to sort some stuff and find a way to earn the money he actually needs according to his parents. Seeing all the old junk parts his father refused to throw, gave him the perfect idea.

Now the four friends were behind a stand in front of the Fenton Workshop/House and were helping customers, interested in the many things that they had dug up from the dusty boxes.

Currently, Sam was busy trying to sell a toaster while Tucker was sitting on a chair behind the stand. At the same time. Lina accepted the cash from a lady who bought a random mechanical part. Then, she begun to sort out the cash, not liking it being messy and random.

Next to her, Danny was bought modelling one of the parts to Mr Lancer.

"It's a perfectly good vacuum motor, Mr Lancer. Only used once! *Mr. Lancer takes the motor* Ten bucks." Danny said, putting on an innocent smile.

"Looks to be in fine shape. This should fix my Hair Hornet very nicely." The teacher said and handed the money to Danny who passed them to Lina.

Tucker who was watching everything, decided to comment. "Hair Hornet? The crazy vacuum cleaner-slash-hair clipper *Miming scissoring motion with fingers* they sell on TV? Don't you need hair for that?"

The adult looked up at his bald head. "Good one, Mr Foley. I'll remember that on Monday when I'm grading tests."

Then, he walked away, and Lina snickered. "Oh, you are so doomed now."

A minute later and Sam approaches them victorious. She hands the money to Lina and turns to look at Danny. "Just sold a toaster. You know, I'm surprised your dad's letting you sell off all his stuff. *Holds up a remote* He's such a packrat."

The male halfa gives a nod. "Yeah, well, he's been planning on getting rid of this junk for a long time. He won't even miss it, I hope."

The female halfa glanced at him. "Keep hoping or else…" she did not have to continue the sentence to make Danny pale.

She did not want to torture him that bad but at the same time, she was still holding a grudge for the many times he dumped them for the popular group, who did not even know he existed until that stupid invitation.

Tucker grinned and opened a sun reflector to tan, as he leaned back on the chair. "I'm pleased with the turnout today. We're doing a really brisk business."

Danny took the box with the money and started counting, only for his mood to drop. "I'm still twenty bucks short of what I need for those sweats" he then put the money in his pocket.

"You're still welcome *Tucker stands up next to her and Lina joins* to hang with us tonight. Mega-movie marathon at my place"

"Your place? Wow. You never invited us to your place before. I mean, only Lina has ever been there" Danny said and it was true.

Sam had a good reason she did not want to bring the boys to her house, and that being not only her parents but rather the economic situation her whole family was in. Lina was a different case but Sam did have the same fear until the first night the halfa came over.

After that, the two girls hang out many times. Especially when Lina needed a break from the Fentons or the boys in general. It also helped Sam have another female figure in the house, one not obsessed with pink and not accepting her for who she truly was.

"That's because we're usually fighting ghosts with you. I figured it's time—" the Goth started, only to be interrupted for the third time.

"Hey, Fentina!" Dash yelled, standing at a nearby table. Danny quickly rushed to him.

"-for you to totally ignore me for about the billionth time this week."

Lina placed her hand on her shoulder, giving a comforting squeeze. She knew Sam liked Danny and also hated to be excluded this way. Considering how accepting the four of them have been with one another.

The exchange did not take long before Danny came rushing to them with a huge grin and the 20 bucks he needed. Looks like Dash and his slow computer was the cherry at the top.

"You guys don't mind cleaning up for me, do you? Great! See ya!" without waiting for their answer, he was busy running down the street like a maniac.

Sam and Lina crossed their arms in front of their chest at the same time. "So now we're his clean-up crew, too?"

They looked over to Tucker, who one second was there standing and the very next one he was off; waving back at them. The halfa rolled her eyes. "Males"

After finishing the cleaning, the two girls had gone to Sam's house to chill and wait for Tucker. Lina had already informed the Fenton's and she was reading one of Sam's magazines on the latest gothic clothing while Sam was ordering pizza on the phone.

Then, the doorbell rang and the two girls headed to open it. The halfa was the one to open the door, waving at Tucker and motioning for him to walk inside while Sam was finishing the order.

"That's two medium, one pepperoni, and one veggie. Put it on my tab." She hung up and closed the door before turning Tucker. "Hey, Tucker."

"I hope they hustle. I'm starved." The boy said and on cue, the doorbell rang.

Lina looked at the clock on the wall. "This must be a new record for Nate"

Tucker was confused but all answers came when Sam opened the door to reveal, Nate, the delivery boy; already holding the two pizzas.

"Here's your pizza, Sam," the boy said as he handed the two boxes to her.

Sam took them and handed him some money. "Thanks, Nate"

"Ten bucks? Thanks, Sam!" the boy said with a smile and walked away as the Goth closed the door behind him.

Tucker blinked and looked from Lina who treated the situation as an everyday thing to the host of the night. "You tipped the guy a ten-spot?"

"Whoops. Sorry. I thought it was a one" she walked past Tucker with Lina following, "Come on. We're watching movies downstairs".

The halfa waited, a little bit anxious as they walked down the pair of stairs until they reached the room they wanted. It was a huge home theatre with a giant movie screen, two lounge seats, a popcorn machine, and a soda fountain.

"This is your downstairs?!" Tucker asked out loud as he stood frozen at the entrance, taking everything in.

Sam set the pizzas down on the snack bar. "What? Too much?

"Uh-huh." That was all he exclaimed as he walked further inside the huge room.

"I know, I should have told you and Danny this a long time ago, but my family's kind of...filthy rich. Weird, huh?" Sam admitted, waiting for his reaction.

His friend dropped his backpack in surprise. "Whoa! Time-out! You're loaded?" he then turned to Lina who was already comfy on one of the lounges. "And you knew about it?"

"Yeah?" the halfa replied, not sure what else to say. She had been hanging out with Sam the most compared to the two boys and she had been to the house many times, thus know about the huge income and the lifestyle of this particular family.

Sam glanced at Lina and then at Tucker. He was taking his better than they had expected which Sam was thankful for. "My great-granddad Izzy was an inventor. He invented that machine *Twirling her finger in the air* that twirls cellophane around deli toothpicks."

Tucker took a seat next to Lina. "You're the deli toothpick cellophane-twirling heiress? No way!"

The Goth opened one of the pizzas. "Look, if this is too much for you, we can do something else."

"Are you kidding?!"

Lina leaned back on the chair, liking Tucker's reaction. Of course, she would not be surprised if he started to ask questions about what things she possessed and what she could buy. Because let us be honest, she did the same thing when she first found the secret.

She wondered how Danny would react but then recalled how her adopted brother would now be in some cool popular party and forget his friends exist. Her smile dropped and pushed such bad thoughts to the side, not wanting her mood to be ruined already.
