The day of the reunion had arrived much sooner than anyone expected. Jazz, Danny and Lina had found themselves in the back of the RV, driving down the road towards Wisconsin. Of the three of them, only one was the most annoyed by the situation.

"How does this happen? You goof up, and I have to spend four days jammed in the Fenton Ghost RV? And how are you okay with all of this?" she asked, the last one being directed to Lina who sat at the other side of Danny, looking outside.

The female halfa shrugged her shoulders. She was generally, the most tolerant with the Fenton adults, just going along with whatever scheme and idea they had. It was part of her character too. Not to mention that she always had too many things in her mind to actually properly focus on them.

Like at that moment, them spending 4 days in Wisconsin. 4 days with ghosts roaming free in their city and no one controlling or stopping them. 4 days away from their friends, who if they end up in danger, they would not be able to help them.

The only good thing was the fact that she had Danny, so she wouldn't be alone surrounded by all those middle-aged people. Plus, Sam and Tucker had agreed that if anything was out o the ordinary, they would call.

In her ghost form, she suspected she could be fast enough to return to the city, help deal with the situation and return back to Wisconsin without anyone noticing. She had not told Danny yet, since his parents most likely would have their eyes on him.

She, on the other hand, was always very quiet and invisible. Both in the house and in the school. It was kind of her role. Ironically:

The Ghost.

Not talking to anyone, not truly participating in class and only speaking when asked a question. Not in any big group or some activity. She was always good at not standing out, almost by nature someone would say.

It was odd but she had accepted. It also proved useful in times like those, where she needed to sneak out to…fight ghosts for example. Or spy on others and stay informed, because this might save someone or herself or Danny from a serious situation.

"That's the Fenton Family Ghost Assault Vehicle, folks. Every button in this baby is a ghost's worst nightmare." Jack said, his eyes never leaving the road.

He was the one driving while Maddie, at the passenger seat, looked at the ma and gave him directions. Because of having all those modern and high tech weapons. They could not and did not trust a GPS unless it was leading them to ghosts.

"Ugh. I need some air" Danny said, making some air with his hand..

This thing, of hours being locked inside the van, and hearing about weapons that can harm and injure ghosts, was for obvious reasons, very unsettling with him. With Lina too, which was why she did her best to zoon out and not listen to any of this.

He pressed a button randomly, just as Jazz noticed.

"Don't press any buttons!" she shouted but it was too late.

Several weapons suddenly appeared on the outside of the GAV. A laser shot a chunk out of a tree, another weapon froze the bird mid-air, causing it to fall, and another laser zapped a guy talking on his cell phone while driving, charring his face. A hose then waved around and shot green goo on Jazz's head.

"Uhm…Jazz….you got….something…" Lina said, trying to keep a serious face but failing while motioning with a finger at the stuff on her hair.

Jazz simply glared at both, but mostly at Danny who had pressed the button,

"I'll get you for this."

They were hallway there but night had fallen, which meant they had to take a much-needed rest. You can imagine the joy of the whole family lined up together, in sleeping bags, at the back of the GAV; as it was parked for the night.

"Get some rest, everybody! I want the entire Fenton clan bright-eyed and bushy-tailed when we meet Masters tomorrow." Jack said and Lina blinked.

Masters? She wondered and apparently she was not the only one.

Jazz lifted her hands up. "Wait, wait, wait. Masters? As in Vlad Masters?"

"Who was named Affluence Magazine's "Billionaire of the Year?" Lina added right after, having lifted her upper body to look at Jack.

She had heard of Masters….who hadn't was the good question. She even had to do an essay on him for one of their classes. He was a billionaire, a genius inventor and a philanthropist. She had never met him but the guy sounded impressive.

Plus, it was not every day that you would get the chance to meet a billionaire. She had never thought much about money, always being a very simplistic person. Plus, hanging around with Sam had shown her one nature of having a lot of money.

"That's the guy! In college, he was my best friend." Jack admitted, making her blink and look at Jack in the darkness.

Those two being best friends sounded unlikely, yet again. Masters could be a much more different person back then. That made her think about how their group of friends would be in 30 years.

Perhaps they will also have achieved some great things in life, some of them at least, and people will wonder how they were friends growing up.

"We were very popular guys. Roommates, lab partners, we did everything together. Until the thick fingers of fate stuck themselves right in Vlad's eyes."

His voice turned serious and Lina gulped as he narrated the story. There was a prototype of a ghost portal, one that was worked on by Maddie, Vlad and Jack. However, something went wrong and it exploded on Vlad's face. This resulted in his face being fatally injured and deformed. And apparently, it was Jack's fault for not listening to the warnings and concerns of his friends.

"He was hospitalized with a horrible case of ecto-acne. It devastated him... and killed his social life. We haven't spoken since that day. But the good news is, I think after all these years, he's finally forgiven me"

Lina did not like that, because that past sounded like something people would not forget so easily. Yet, she did not let it linker in her mind for long as she laid back on the sleeping back. Hands behind her head, her eyelids soon felt heavy and she slept, unaware of what the next day would bring.

Finally, the Fentons arrived at Vlad's mansion As the GAV pulled up and the family climbed off, they all stared at the huge and very well-architected mansion. Lina, having quite a knack and liking, for architecture almost gaped at the building until the big doors opened.

The man who she had only seen in clips and pictures during her research, was now in the flesh and was stepping out to greet them. Dressed in a well-tailored custom and with hair, smoothly brushed and tied back. He was a sore thumb compared to the two adults in bright latex suits and the three teenagers with their own, teenager, style.

"Jack...and Maddie! You've never looked lovelier, my dear" he was quick to usher them inside. All but Jack who was quick to face Vlad's back. "Please, please, come in."

As they are toured around the entrance hall, they notice how everything is decorated in green-and-gold and filled with Green Bay Packers' football memorabilia.

"What's with the green and gold? You're a billionaire! Surely you could afford an interior designer." Jazz said, making Lina leave out a sigh.

"Jazz, hello? Football helmets, jerseys, cheeseheads? He's a Packers fanatic." Danny corrected.

Lina was not a big fan of football but she knew the teams, she was hanging after all with Danny and Tucker. She never truly saw much entertainment behind it, always being one for more artistic directions.

Jack was still waiting outside, the doors to the hall closed on his face. The family had yet to notice, all too busy with the tour. All but Lina, but had no chance to ask. Not yet.

Vlad placed a hand on Danny's head. "Oh, "fanatic" is such a negative word. *Raises hand.* But, yes."

"I don't understand. You have billions of dollars! Instead of buying this stuff, why don't you just buy the team?" Jazz asked.

Vlad's face changed to the one of irritation. "Because the Packers are owned by the city of Green Bay, and they won't sell them to me!" he was quick to regain his cool as he looked at Maddie next to him. "One of two things my wealth has not as of yet... *Chuckles* been able to acquire"

Maddie only smiled innocently at him while the three kids exchanged a look. Danny leaned between the two girls and whispered. "Is he hitting on Mom?"

Lina shrugged. "Looks like it. I mean, they were friends since college and he never truly got his chance with the accident"

Jazz though did not look much bothered or thought too much about it. "As long as he's got working toilets, and Mom says no, who cares?" she walked away from them.

Maddie started to feel uncomfortable under Vlad's intense gaze. "I'd, uh... *Points at door* better let Jack in"

As Maddie walked away, Danny noticed an autographed football. "Hey Angel, check this out!" The girl turned in his direction and approached, surprised by the precious possession. "So cool!"

Vlad noticed and approached them, feeling immense pride. "Indeed. *Picks up the ball.* This ball was autographed by the legendary Ray Nitschke himself. It's my prized possession."

"I can see why. That's amazing" Lina said and he looked at her, offering her a smile.

Lina might not be a big fan but she knows and she can imagine what a signed ball means had broken records so his autograph was of very high importance.

"Heads up, V-Man!" Jack shouted and in seconds, had tackled Vlad to the ground. Successful, he stood up and grabbed the football. Ha! I see you've still got the old moves"

Lina offered her hand to Vlad who was furious. He accepted and she helped him stand up, only for him to furiously snatch the ball back. "Give me that! *Puts football back on pedestal* I never had any old moves! All those years in the hospital robbed me of that!"

That made everyone look at him silently, surprised and worried over his outburst. However, he composes himself again.

"Yes. Well, it gave me time to chart out a course for my life, didn't it? Make some decisions that helped to make me very wealthy, very quickly. And it never would have happened without you, Jack" he smiled creepily, making Lina's hair stand on end.

There was something odd about the man. She knew it, in a way she could sense it but she could not pinpoint what exactly and why she had such feeling. His bipolar attitude and his past with Jack were alarming enough.

"Uh, yeah...maybe we should go," Maddie said uncomfortably as if also seeing the red flags.

"No, no, you should stay with me!" Vlad quickly said, putting his arm around Jack. "That's the whole reason I'm throwing the reunion here in my castle - previously home to the legendary Wisconsin Dairy King. Just so I could...reconnect with you, Jack. I insist you stay"

"Well, I don't know. We do have a really cool RV." Jack said.

Jazz faked a cough. "Let's stay here!"

Danny slid his hand through the air. "Smooth"

Lina did not know exactly what she wanted, but a big part of her did not want to return to the RV. Something about staying at such a castle, with a lot of necessities, was appealing. Even though the owner gave some odd vibes.

"Well..unless there is a ghost nearby…." She said, dropping the hints slowly.

This would be the only reason Jack would actually stay. To her surprise, Vlad understood where she was leading this. "You know, Jack, the Dairy King's ghost could haunt these very halls..."

This was all Jack needed." I'll get the bags!"

The very same night, everyone was sound asleep. Jack and Maddie were in one room, sharing a bed, while the kids each had their own. Danny and Lina had chosen rooms next to one another, to be closer and out of habit. Also in case if anything were to happen, they preferred to stick together.

During the middle of the night, her ghost senses went off and she jumped on top of the bed in alarm. She did not see any ghosts nearby but she suspected they would be close. She turned to her ghost form just as Danny flew through the wall.

They exchanged a look and went to search.

They were quick to notice Jack sleepwalking, almost, and three very familiar green vulture ghosts after him. Just as one of them went to attack him, Danny had passed a hand through the ceiling and made Jack intangible. Passing him through a lower floor and saving his life.

Then, Lina helped him carry him to the bathroom, both knowing that this was one of the reasons Jack was awake. It also would give them some time to deal with the birds for good this time.

Just as they let him in the bathroom, they flew and searched for the vultures. When they find them, they both phase into the hallway they are.

"Hi, guys!" Lina said, giving a wave with eyes glowing a dangerous red.

"Remember us?" Danny continued, hitting his fist into his open palm.

To their surprise, when they turned they freaked out and flew away as if Skulker was after them. That struck odd to both of them.

"Okay. That was almost too easy." Danny commented when a new voice joined in.

"Ah, bright boy." The voice said and they both immediately turned.

They gasped at the sight of a new ghost. Dressed in a white suit with black pants and gloves, a cape and blue skin with slightly pointy ears. His eyes glowed a dangerous strong pink and his head his arms crossed in front of his chest, while his face showed a smug grin. They had not even sensed him when he appeared, not even their ghost senses felt them actually. It was odd, for Lina at least. No ghost had ever escaped them like that and she was quick to realize that those vultures were afraid of the new ghost. Which meant, they had a good reason to do so.
