Chapter 17: No Treasure and Myaxx Alive
Meanwhile, Ben, Kai and the pirates were on their 312th pace near a cave. Argit looked on in concern. "What if Liam is right? What if it is cursed?" Vilgax looked at him annoyed. "I'll show you what I think of your curse!" He said, hitting Argit in the face with the butt of his sword as he drew it. "You lilly-livered, toffee-hearted, little waste of a Hedgesapian!" He cussed while cutting down the hanging moss. He entered the cave, followed by Ben, then Kai and the other pirates.
"Treasure buried here." Ben looked down from the map to see the unburied pit filled with chests. The pirates gathered around the pit. Argit spoke up. "Come on, mates! The treasure is ours!" He, along with Solid Plugg, Leander, Yetta and Sunder dropped down into the pit. But when they opened the chests, there was nothing! They all looked to Vilgax, who had a hand on a pistol. "There's no treasure, Vilgax! You brought us here for nothing!" Argit accused his captain. "And now we'll be tried for mutiny!" The pirates yelled in agreement. "Plugg says we should KILL HIM!" Plugg said. The pirates drew their swords while Vilgax pulled out 2 pistols, ready to fire. "Run kids! Save yourselves!" He yelled to Ben and Kai as they made for the cave exit. The pirates charged and Vilgax fired.
Back at the stakes, Baz-l came with 2 other Mechamorphs. "Take the Azmuth Galvan one away." He ordered. "Others stay." The 2 Mechamorphs cut Azmuth loose and lead him past by a cooking pot, run by the little alien Pakmarr. "Well, how else did you think Pakmarr was gonna get into this fanfiction?" He asked laughing.
Gwen then started freaking out. "This is terrible! This is the worse thing that's ever happened to me and- wait a second. I've been cut loose." She said, noticing her bonds. Ben and Kai cut them loose. "Come on. We've got to get help." Ben led them out of the alter.
Near a small waterfall where the pirates had Vilgax tied up, Charmcaster was crying over a stone creature while Darkstar comforted her. "Stoney's dead!" She sobbed, kissing the stone creature's head. "Vilgax shot him!" She continued crying until Animo said that the stone creature was just stone. "Can we get on with this?!" Argit yelled, shooing the 3 away. "Liam! Give it to him!" Liam gave Vilgax a paper containing "The Black Spot!" Vilgax said in disbelief, until he noticed printed texts on the paper, knowing that they've torn the paper from the Holy Bible. "Realizing what they did, the crew begged for his forgiveness. Vilgax forgave them and they untied him.
The next morning, the 5 reached their boat, but see that the Mechamorphs destroyed it. Kai noticed something in a short distance. It was Myaxx in her lifeboat! They called out to her. "Oh! Kids!" She noticed them. "Come join me aboard this exceptionally safe little boat." She reached shore and turned to Kai. "By the way, Miss Kai, your father may not be trustworthy." "Oh, now she tells us." Gwen said with sarcasm.
