Update: 12/14/12: Holy shit! Did I do it? Did I start on Leah's Story?? Why, yes, yes I did! What I'm doing, folks, is rewriting and reworking it. I discovered that I hate it. I can't stand the way its written, I hate the language, and have no idea where the hell I was going to go with it. Ms Meyer is absolutely right, a fight with the Volturi would end in horror (any one see the movie yet, OMG I was pissed! I thought they changed it!!!! Until the "twist" lol...). Yup Breaking Dawn Part 2 definitely drove that point home. So. We'll see what I come up with, as I revisit each chapter and change the shit I just can't stand. I don't think will send out update notifications for edited chapters, so when I finally post a new chapter, I will be sure to note it so those who want to reread the changes can. I am going to post on AO3 also, just in case something happens to it here. Of course, it will be all new over there, with none of the old shit in it. We'll see how it goes...

Update: 6/8/12: *peers sheepishly from around corner* Ok, yeah, I still haven't gotten back to Leah's Story. And now I here is on a bit of a power trip and the possibility exists that it may be "purged". If this happens, I do have an account at AO3 and I may get one at YourFanfiction. I'll try to post the links here, but I don't know if they will take. I do want to finish this mess. It bugs the shit out of me that it isn't. Life should start normalizing soon (fingers crossed). I don't know if anyone is still following, or what ever, and I don't blame anyone for giving up, I just wanted to provide some information just in case anyone wanted to know. Update: 9/21/11: No, I didn't die. I see people are still reading and reviewing my story. You guys are awesome! I honestly didn't mean to stop writing. RL just really kicked my ass. I am having a hard time getting back into the story, but I do thing about it all the time, and I swear I do plan on finishing it. I haven't decided yet if I want to completely redo it or just start making it better from where its at...I've reread it and cringed several times at the wrongness in several places. Please believe me when I say I hate being one of those writers whose just stops posting for years...I always hate to come across those fics and I feel awful that i have one of my own. So I will finish it, I'm just not sure when. As for First Bitten, I still haven't made my mind up about it either. I said once before it started going somewhere i didn 't like, and I haven't figured out how to bring it back yet.

I will admit I've gotten way off the Twilight track, and find myself reading Harry Potter ff these days. Namely *cough*slash*cough*. So, yeah.

A bit more about myself: Married, have three super active children, and a full time job, so when I don't update for a while, this is why, ;). First Bitten is my first ever fanfic and only my 2nd story ever. I will try to update often, but I am anal about typo's and stuff. I type everything on Word and then upload it; Word catches my f-ups instantly and lets me know right away! (I'm also a crappy speller, so if there is no spell check, I am sunk!) I love reviews! I love to read them. So please review! I will not beg, mainly because when I see people have stopped by and decided not to leave a note I think it is because they are following that age old saying 'If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all' ;-)

I have also read just about everything on Stephenie Meyer's web site, including her posting of Midnight Sun, which I deeply regret; partly because of how she felt about anyone reading it yet and partly because she may not finish it. I wasn't going to read it, but quite frankly, I have no will power! I also liked Breaking Dawn although not as much as the others, I kind of wished the Cullens would have kicked major Volturi butt!! And that whole imprinting on Nessie thing sucked, too!

I have discovered that I like writing Blackwater. I love the idea of Jake and Leah together. I was disappointed with the direction Stephenie chose to go with that in BD. I mean, first she tells us that imprinting is rare, then she has like half the pack imprint. WTF? And she leaves poor Leah out to dry? What did she ever do wrong? LOL. The other great thing about Blackwater is that there aren't as many Jake/Leah stories on fanfic as there are Bella/Edward stories. That doesn't mean I don't like them: I love them, I just prefer not to write them. I have also, lol, um, discovered another pairing I absolutely love. E/J. lol. I'm not sure if I'm up for writing it, we'll see. ;)

Of course! This one, well obsessed comes instantly to mind. I came into the series late. I started reading it right when BD came out, so I didn't have to wait in between books, except for the time it took me to get to the store to buy the next one. I don't know how the rest of you did it! Honestly! I would have been impossible to live with! Upon finishing Breaking Dawn, I immediately started again with Twilight and continued to do this until a month ago, when I found this site! So, thank you FanFiction for giving me a new obsession! This site has also inspired me to try and write a few for myself. I found this site while obsessively searching for anything on the movie coming out. Seriously, I need help.
