A/N: Here's my third entry for OQ Prompt Party. I'm still trying to post every day this week even though we have the whole month now – which is amazing! It looks like I might be going through some of my personal prompts before getting to the more general prompts for now. This one is for The Nanny - Roland meets the twins. It will eventually be featured in the next chapter of The Nanny.

"Siblings"

Marco pulled up to Nottingham and looked back at Robin with a smile. "Here you go, sir. And once again, congratulations," he said.

Robin thanked him before getting out of the car. He approached the kitchen door and opened it, setting foot inside his warm house as the aroma of coffee wrapped around him. It made him perk up as he realized just how tired he still was. Everyone looked up from the table and Roland rushed over, throwing his arms around Robin. "Papa! You're home! But where are Mom and the twins?" he asked.

"They need to stay in the hospital for a couple days," he told his son. Panic filled Roland's brown eyes and Robin quickly assured him: "Sparky is watching over them."

"Good," Roland replied, relief filling his eyes knowing that his mother and siblings were being protected by his beloved stuffed dragon.

Robin crouched until he was eye level with his son. "How would you like to visit them?"

"Can I go today?" Roland asked as his eyes lit up. When Robin nodded, Roland started to bounce. "YES!"

"Alright. Let me eat some breakfast and then we can head to the hospital to see Mom, Henry and Grace," Robin said, gently ruffling his son's curls before standing to head to the table.

Will greeted him with a nod. "We're having some oatmeal and fruit. Do you want anything else?"

"Coffee," Robin said, tired after only getting a few hours of sleep. "Lots and lots of coffee."

"Coming right up," Will replied, gently clapping him on the shoulder and pushing him toward the table to go sit down.

Mom frowned as Robin collapsed in a nearby chair. "Maybe you should take a nap before you head back to the hospital. You look ready to fall down."

It was a tempting suggestion but Robin shook his head. "I want to get back to Regina as soon as possible. Emma's just as tired as me and deserves some rest."

"So do you," Mom argued.

"Maybe," he replied, "but Regina had my babies. It's only right that I'm there to support her until she gets out of the hospital."

She sighed before smiling as she patted his hand. "You're a good partner and father, Robin."

"I try my best," he replied. "That's all I can do."

"And I'm sure Regina appreciates everything you're doing for her," she assured him as Will set down his bowl and cup of coffee.

Robin took a sip of the coffee, feeling as if the caffeine was already flooding his veins. He thought over the past twenty-four hours, love and pride surging through him as he considered what Regina had done during that time. "I appreciate everything she did to bring our children in the world. Going into labor, having surgery, dealing with both post-surgery and post-birth aftermath…"

He paused, taking another sip as gratitude filled him for the amazing woman fate had sent into his life. Mom smiled and pushed his bowl closer. "Eat up. You're going to need the energy to keep supporting Regina," she said.

"Thanks, Mom," he replied, taking a bite of his oatmeal. He ate as fast as he could, eager to get back to Regina, Henry and Grace.

Roland climbed into the chair next to him. "Can I see a picture of my brother and sister now please?" he asked.

"Let your father eat," Dad told him, gently playing with Roland's hair. "You'll be able to see your siblings soon enough."

"Okay," Roland said, sitting back with a glum look on his face.

Robin set down his spoon and pulled out his phone. Opening it, he pulled up a picture of the twins and slid it toward his son. "There you go. Henry is wrapped in blue and Grace is wrapped in pink."

Gasping, Roland picked up the phone with a smile. He then frowned. "They don't look very happy."

"No, they don't," his grandfather agreed. "But you don't look very happy when we wake you up and make you leave your nice warm bed. Bit of the same thing here."

"Oh," Roland said, nodding. "Yeah, I guess I understand."

Robin chuckled as he had a few more bites of oatmeal. "They're likely going to be sleeping when you go to visit them so they won't be too cranky."

"Sounds good," Roland said. He set his father's phone down before asking: "How's Mom?"

Sighing, Robin pushed his chair back and patted his lap. Roland climbed onto it and cuddled against his father. As he ran his hair through his son's curls, Robin said: "First, I want to assure you that Mom is fine. But to have the twins, the doctors had to perform surgery on her. So remember how after my surgery I was sore and tired?"

When Roland nodded, Robin continued: "Well, the same is true of Mom. So just like you had to be careful around me, you'll have to be careful around her. You can hug her, just not too tightly. And she may need to sleep a bit more for the next few weeks."

"Okay, Papa," he said.

Robin kissed his son's forehead before setting him down on the floor. "Why don't you go with Nan to get changed? I'll be done with my breakfast shortly and then we can go."

Mom took Roland upstairs as Robin finished his oatmeal and coffee. He then turned to Will. "You remember where we hid the gifts the twins are going to 'give' to Roland?"

"Yep," Will said. "I'll go get them."

Robin thanked him before standing, stretching a bit. He retrieved his portable coffee mug and poured some more coffee into it, knowing he was going to need it to get through the rest of the day. As he twisted the lid back on, Will returned with the bag and held it out. "Here you go."

"Thank you," Robin said, putting his coat on before taking the bag. "Do you mind driving us?"

Will shook his head. "I'll go get my keys. I wouldn't mind meeting the two newest residents of Nottingham myself."

Robin clapped him on the back. "Thanks. I owe you."

"Yeah, you do," Will agreed, heading to get his coat and keys as Roland came back downstairs. Mom followed him with a bag, handing it to Robin as she explained that Roland was taking it to the hospital with him.

"What's in it?" he asked, curious. He opened it to find two neatly wrapped presents inside and he knew the answer even before Roland happily gave it to him.

"They're presents for Henry and Grace to welcome them to our family!"

Pride surged through Robin and he pulled Roland close for a hug. "You are a very thoughtful brother," he said. "The twins are very lucky."

"Alright, you two," Will said, coming out of his wing. "You ready to head to the hospital?"

"We are," Robin said, taking Roland's hand after combining the bags. They followed Will out to the car and within minutes, they were driving away from Nottingham to go see the rest of their family.

"So you're going to breastfeed?" Emma asked as Regina nursed Grace. It had taken a few tries but the baby girl had finally latched on and seemed to be getting her fill. Henry slept on his incubator and Regina hoped to try nursing him soon.

Regina nodded, gently patting her daughter's bottom. "Robin and I already discussed it. We felt it was best but that if I had trouble breastfeeding, then I wouldn't force it and we'd just switch to formula. But so far, it looks like it's going well."

"It does," Emma agreed. "You're a natural, Regina. You were always meant to be a mother."

"And now I have three children," she replied, thinking of Roland. Robin had texted to let them know he was on his way with him as well as Will. She couldn't wait for her oldest to meet his siblings.

Emma nodded. "You do. And you deserve this. I am so glad you're finally getting your happily ever after."

"Thanks, Em," Regina said. "And I'm really glad you're here with me."

"Knock, knock," a nurse said, entering the room. "I've come to check how the nursing is going."

Regina glanced down at Grace, who had released her nipple and smiled. "I think it went well. She seems to have gotten her fill while her brother still seems to be asleep."

"Good," the nurse said, taking Grace from her. "Why don't you get yourself fixed up and then I can let in your family?"

"They're here?" Regina asked, excitement coursing through her as she adjusted her nightgown so her breasts were covered again.

The nurse nodded, smiling. "Your son is very excited to see his siblings. He's practically dancing from his impatience."

Regina smiled, imaging an eager Roland hopping from foot to foot outside her hospital room. She motioned for the brush on her nightstand. "Emma, can you hand that to me? I just want to run it through my hair first."

"Sure," Emma said, handing her the brush. "Though I doubt Robin and Roland are going to care."

"I know, but I do," Regina replied, quickly brushing her hair until it didn't feel as knotty and wild. She then nodded to the nurse. "Okay, I'm ready."

The nurse walked over to the door and motioned for Robin to bring Roland into the room. She stepped back as the two entered along with Will, Roland carrying a bag. That piqued Regina's curiosity but she figured she would find out about it in good time. For now, she was just happy to see her son. "Hello, Roland! I've missed you!"

"I missed you too," he said, approaching the bed. He glanced at her nightstand, where Sparky sat watching over the room. "Is Sparky keeping you safe?"

"Yes, he is," she replied. "The twins and I feel very safe with him here."

He nodded solemnly. "Good."

They watched as Will looked over the twins, smiling brightly. "They're beautiful, Regina. Congratulations," he said.

"Thank you, Will," she said. "Though I'm sure you're probably going to be singing a different tune once they are home in Nottingham."

"Well, there's a reason my room is where it is," he replied, winking. "I think I'll be fine."

She laughed as he retreated, joining Emma in a chair by Regina's bed. Regina motioned for Roland to come forward so that he could meet his siblings and then hopefully get to cuddle with her. It was likely a couple more days before she could go home and she wanted to get her cuddling time in with him while he was visiting her.

"Roland, do you want to meet your brother and sister?" Robin asked softly, smiling as he pressed his hand to his son's back. When Roland nodded, he guided the boy toward the cribs. "Here they are. Roland, meet Henry and Grace."

Roland rose up on his tiptoes to peer into the cribs, looking between the two babies. Awe filled his eyes and he whispered: "They are so tiny."

"Yes, they are," Regina said. "And we're going to help them grow big and strong like you."

He turned to face her, flashing her his brilliant smile as he flexed his arms. "Yep!"

"Well, I know they don't look it right now, but Henry and Grace are very excited to meet you," Robin continued. "And they are looking forward to getting to know their big brother."

"I want to know them too," Roland said. He turned back to the cribs. "Hi, Henry. Hi, Grace. I can't wait for us to all play together."

Regina's heart swelled and she felt tears prick her eyes. "You three are going to have a lot of fun together once they are older," she told him.

He looked up at her before turning to his father. "Can I give them my presents now?"

"Presents?" she asked, surprised. She looked up at Robin, hoping he could explain.

"Yes," Robin said, opening the bag he had taken from Roland. "Roland got his brother and sister gifts to welcome them to our family."

Regina's heart melted even more and a lump formed in her throat. "That is so sweet. You are amazing, Roland."

He beamed, pulling out a wrapped present as Robin did the same. Roland then hesitated before asking: "Who is going to open them for the twins? They're too little do to it themselves."

"Why don't we open them together?" Regina suggested, patting a spot on her bed. "Come on up."

Robin took the present from Roland as Emma helped him climb onto the bed. He settled next to Regina, who wrapped her arm around him. She smiled as he gave him a little squeeze. "There we go."

"Here's present number one," Robin said, handing one box to Regina. He then handed the other to Roland. "And present number two."

"Shall we open them together on three?" Regina asked. When Roland nodded, she started the countdown. On one, they tore into the presents and soon her bed was filled with wrapping paper. She held a brown box and she opened it before pulling out a smaller version of the blue Teddy bear that had revealed she was having a boy all those months before. Henry was embroidered in white thread on its chest. She looked over at the one Roland pulled out of his box, finding a pink Teddy bear with Grace written in white on its chest.

"Oh, Roland," she sighed, letting the tears spill. "These are so beautiful. Your brother and sister are going to love them so much, especially since they came from you."

He beamed again. "Thank you, Mom."

She hugged him again, kissing the top of his head as Robin pulled out the gifts they had gotten for him. Regina pulled back. "Your brother and sister also got you gifts to celebrate that you're a big brother now."

"Really?" Roland's eyes lit up and he looked up at his father as Robin placed the two presents down. "They're the best!"

All the adults chuckled, watching as Roland tore into his presents. He unwrapped one and revealed a Lego set he had wanted for Christmas. It had been sold out and on back order. When it didn't arrive in time for Christmas, she and Robin had decided to save it for now.

Roland then turned to his second present, which was a set of books he really wanted to read. His eyes widened again and he hugged them to his chest. "Thank you! These are the best presents ever!"

"Well, it looks like your brother and sister know you pretty well already," Robin said, winking at Regina as he sat down next to Roland. They hugged their little boy and she felt so proud of him. She also felt so happy, she was pretty sure would've floated away if she wasn't attached to a couple machines monitoring her.

Small cries interrupted their moment and everyone turned to the cribs. Robin leaned over and smiled. "Looks like Henry's feeling a bit left out."

He picked the baby boy up and cradled him, patting his back. As he rocked him, Henry's cries stopped and he opened his blue eyes. He looked at Roland, drawing a smile from Robin. Leaning closer, he said: "Henry, this is your brother Roland."

"Hi, Henry," Roland said, almost whispering. He reached out and took one of Henry's little hands. "I'm your big brother and I promise to be the best big brother ever."

Grace started to mew in her crib so Regina reached over and took Henry from his father's arms. Robin reached over to pick up their little girl while she rocked Henry as Roland watched his sister, who now opened her eyes to met his. "Grace, this is your brother Roland," Robin told the girl.

Roland repeated what he had said to Henry before leaning over to kiss her cheek. She blew a little bubble at him and he laughed. "I think she tried to kiss me back," he said.

"You know what? I think you're right," Robin said, smiling like the proud father he was.

Emma excused herself, saying she was going to get herself something to eat while the little family continued to bond. Regina nodded before turning her attention back to the baby in her arms. Henry snuggled against her, just content to be held. In her father's arms, Grace seemed to feel the same. Roland was sandwiched between them and he looked between his siblings, telling them all about life at Nottingham. Regina held him close as well, committing the moment to memory. She had almost given up on having a family but her greatest dream had finally come true.

And she was going to enjoy every moment of it, no matter what.
