About Me: I used to be in the Harry Potter fandom (major D/Hr reader), but nowadays I basically write only Bleach, albeit I read a lot of Inuyasha, some Naruto and still some D/Hr too.

I am a complicated reader. I don't like songfics, I don't like AUs, with a very few exceptions (previously warned as AU, everybody very IC, etc..), I'm not fond of fics that deal too much with the living world instead of soul society (Bleach fics), I'm not too fond of yaoi (as in, I really don't read it at all) and I will probably not read badly written/ formatted fics unless the plot really impresses me. On the bright side, I love fics with defined plots, intimate moments full of unresolved tension and lots of subtlety.

Favorite pairings:

Bleach: Byakuya/Rukia

Needless to say, I love this pairing. (I believe you can tell looking at my fics below, they are all byaruki!). And of course it is not incest. Two things would create a sibling relationship: sharing blood and growing up together. They have neither. Their relationship is just something weird, clumsy and interesting.

I do not believe it will happen in canon, though. I do think there's something in the air there, but I'm almost sure it will never be explored further, so that's my main reason to write this pairing, instead of ichiruki.

Unfortunately, Bleach fandom is not as large as the HP fandom, and we definitely could use more fics, especially more byaruki! I'm trying to contribute with some myself, but I wish I was a good writer as I am an avid reader. My contributions follow below.

Inuyasha: Sesshoumaru/Kagome mostly, which obviously has a very similar dynamic to Byaruki fics.

Now, being the obssessed fan that I am of Rukia and her nii-sama, I'd like to share with you some little things I thought/noticed lately:

1) Have you noticed that Yoruichi and Rurichiyo are both called hime (princess) in the series? And that they have exactly the same position as Byakuya does? (Heir of their noble house) So theorically, he should be considered a prince too (ouji), but I guess Kuchiki-taichou wouldn't like to be called that way. XD

2) Byakuya mentions the Kuchiki clan is the oldest of all noble houses (that probably explains why they seem to have more prestige and are even more strict than the others).

3) When Rukia is in jail, talking to Renji about how she thinks her brother won't save her, the correct translation of her words is something like "he never looked at me in all these years" as in, he avoids to look at her (chapter 59, pg 9). Suspicious, imo...

4) Something I just found out: Rukia's voice actress (aka seiyuu) also dubbed Hisana! Amazing uh? I thought they sounded so different... but maybe it's cause Hisana speaks a lot softer, especially on her deathbed. But poor Byakuya, they even have the same voice. That doesn't help in the least..

I could add a thousand things to explain why I'm sure there's something between the two of them, but I do that in my livejournal instead, so feel free to visit it.

As for my stories, a brief resumee:

First of all, they're all byaruki.. for now. This is the pairing inspiring my muse atm, nothing I can do about it.

Power and Duty - my first byaruki fic, basically I wanted to explore the life of nobility on Seireitei (and in general), using the forced married plot, which I like. On-going.

Toys - my second byaruki fic, it was written as a one-shot to include this idea I had since the first chapters of Bleach, when I first saw Rukia using.. yeah, you got it, no spoilers. The style is a little different, one I use since my early teens.

The Price of Memories - continuation of Toys, cause you guys asked so. Prepare yourself for more angst, romance and the same poetic-prose style (hopefully). On-going.

Mystery in the Night - The first of my "Dance, Rukia" fics. lol I love to dance, I love that her zanpakutou uses dances, and it was one of those plot bunnies that wouldn't leave me alone until I wrote it. Finished!

Gift - a dark tale, inspired by Aizen and his curious zanpakutou. It contains my favorite villanic rukia ship - ginruki. Still byaruki, though. On hold for now.

To Have her Back - inspired by a convo I had with my cousin, who is not so much into Bleach, unfortunately, but still contributed to our favorite pairing. I wanted to write something lighter, and isn't Rukia adorable when embarassed? Ijust love to torture her with embarassment. XD On-going.

A Meeting in the Past - Just a smaller story for me to write. Inspired by a request (of them not knowing it was the other...), I just used it as a good excuse to put a gueixa!Rukia and her irresistible nii-sama in such a situation. Bound to be another of my "Dance, Rukia" fics bwahaha. On-going.

Thirst - Inspired by a very hot byaruki pic by Punkycoolkat. Just having fun here with this crazy plot... again, just another excuse for hot!vampire!byakuya...
