Hey Everyone, just to make things clear, this story is NOT taking the place of either The Journey of Ash Ketchum's or From Lost to Found. So, I'm still continuing them
First Captures
Ash, Mallow, Rotom Dex, Pikachu & Bulbasaur arrived at Route 1 to start looking for Pokémon. Just then they saw a Shiny bird-like Pokémon
"Hey, it's a Shiny Pidgey." Ash said
Pidgey, The Tiny Bird Pokémon, A Normal & Flying Type, Pidgey has an extremely sharp sense of direction. It is capable of unerringly returning home to its nest, however far it may be removed from its familiar surroundings.
"Awesome, Go Pikachu!" Ash said
"Pika Pika." Pikachu said
"Use Quick Attack." Ash said. Pikachu became surrounded by light blue aura & charged at Pidgey
Pidgey noticed Pikachu & flew up to dodge the attack
"Pidgey!" Pidgey said as its wings glow light blue, blew a gust of wind from them & hit Pikachu
"It's using Gust." Rotom Dex said
"Pikachu, use Thunder Wave." Ash said. Pikachu released yellow rings of electricity & paralyzed Pidgey
"Now's the time to catch it." Rotom Dex said
"Right, Go Ultra Ball!" Ash said as he threw an Ultra Ball & caught Pidgey "Alright, I caught a Pidgey!"

Ability: Tangled Feet
Hidden Ability: Big Pecks
Known Moves: Tackle, Growl, Gust, Quick Attack, Air Cutter, Brave Bird, & Steel Wing
"Congratulations Ash." Mallow congratulated
"Thanks Mallow." Ash said
"Look there's more over there." Rotom Dex said pointing at 2 purple mouse like Pokémon
"What are they?" Ash asked as Rotom Dex scanned the Pokémon
Rattata, the Mouse Pokémon, a Normal Type. Rattata is cautious in the extreme. Even while it is asleep, it constantly listens by moving its ears around. It is not picky about where it lives—it will make its nest anywhere.
"Chatot, I choose you!" Ash said as he sent out Chatot
"Chatot!" Chatot said
"Use Sing." Ash said.
"La la la la." Chatot sang as multicolored music notes came out of his mouth & caused the Rattata to fall asleep.
"Go Poké Balls!" Ash said as he threw two Poké Balls at the Rattata & caught them

Ability: Guts
Hidden Ability: Hustle
Known Moves: Tackle, Tail Whip, Quick Attack, Focus Energy, Bite, Flame Wheel, & Reversal
One of Ash's Rattatas got transported to Professor Cerise
"You know, you could've had me use Aerial Ace or Chatter on those two." Chatot complained
"Sorry Chatot, but paralyzing or making them fall asleep is easier." Ash said
"Excuse me Ash, but may I ask why you caught two Rattata?" Rotom Dex asked
"Well, besides becoming a Pokémon Master of leagues & contests, my goal is to catch every Pokémon in the Pokédex." Ash said
"I get it, you're gonna evolve one Rattata while the other stays in its current form." Mallow said
"Exactly." Ash said
"That's a fantastic idea." Rotom Dex said "But what about Legendary & Mythical Pokémon? Are you gonna catch them as well?"
"Probably, I know it might be a challenge, but I'll never know unless I try." Ash said
"Look, there's a few Pidgey over there." Chatot said as he pointed at three Pidgey
"Perfect." Ash said "Chatot, use Chatter."
"Now we're talking." Chatot said
Chatot flew over the Pidgey & took a deep breath
"HEY!" Chatot shouted as he released multicolored soundwaves came out of his mouth & hit the Pidgey which caused them to become confused
"Ready Mallow?" Ash asked
"Ready." Mallow nodded
"Go Poké Balls!" They both said
Ash threw two Poké Balls & caught two Pidgey while Mallow caught the last one. After capturing the Pidgey, everyone decided to relax
"Hey Ash, Thanks for letting me stay the night at your house." Mallow said
"No problem Mallow, it must've been a long journey flying all the way from Alola to Kanto." Ash said
"It was. Anyway, why do you want to compete in contests?" Mallow asked
"Well, it might help me make some techniques with future battles for Leagues, Gyms, & other kinds of battles." Ash said
"Hm, Good point." Mallow said "Besides there's no rule that you can't compete in both contests & gyms. I'm familiar with some Trainers that do that."
"Ash, look, there's another Pokémon." Rotom Dex said as he pointed at a brown bird-like Pokémon with red wings
"It's a Spearow." Mallow said as Rotom Dex scanned the Pokémon
Spearow, the Tiny Bird Pokémon, a Normal & Flying Type. Spearow has a very loud cry that can be heard over half a mile away. If its high, keening cry is heard echoing all around, it is a sign that they are warning each other of danger.
"I'm definitely catching this one, Go Blue!" Ash said as he sent out Blue
"Ruff!" Blue barked
"Use Rock Throw." Ash said. Rockruff's tail glowed white, fired rocks from it & hit Spearow
"Spearow!" Spearow said as it let out a huge growl that distorts the air
"Dodge it, & use Thunder Fang." Ash said as Blue dodged the attack. Then she opened her mouth, created yellow teeth-like aura with sparks of electricity & bit down Spearow
"Go Poké Ball!" Ash said as he threw a Poké Ball
But Suddenly the Poké Ball was knocked back
"Huh?" Ash said confusingly
They looked & saw a big brown bird-like Pokémon defending the Spearow
"What's that?" Ash said as Rotom Dex scanned the Pokémon
Fearow, the Beak Pokémon, a Normal & Flying Type, & the evolved form of Spearow. Fearow is recognized by its long neck and elongated beak. They are conveniently shaped for catching prey in soil or water. It deftly moves its long and skinny beak to pluck prey.
"Fearow!" Fearow said as it charged at Blue
"Blue, use Rock Tomb." Ash said.
"Ruff." Blue said as she became outlined in white energy, then multiple gray rocks appeared around her & launched them at Fearow
Fearow's wings glowed blue & white, spun vertically, smashed its way through the Rock Tomb & hit Blue
"Ruff!" Blue howled in pain as she was sent flying into Ash's arms & fainted
"Blue, are you alright?" Ash said shockingly
"That was a powerful Steel Wing." Rotom Dex said
"Fearow!" Fearow called out
Suddenly they heard a noise, when they looked, they saw a flock of Spearow heading towards us
"We're under attack!" Rotom Dex panicked
"We gotta run." Ash said as he returned Blue
The gang ran as fast as they could from the Fearow & Spearow flock until they reached a waterfall
"Oh no, it's a dead end." Mallow said worriedly
"Do you trust me?" Ash asked as stuck out his hand
"What?" Mallow said
"Do you trust me?" Ash asked again
"Yes." Mallow said
"Then jump!" Ash said as he grabbed her hand & jumped into the water with her along
"Pika!/Bulba!/Boun!" The Pokémon shouted as they jumped into the water as well
"Hey! Wait for me!" Rotom Dex called out as he went after them
When they all got into the water, they saw all kinds of Water Type Pokémon.
"Excuse me?" Rotom Dex called out
"Poli?" A Blue tadpole-like Pokémon with a white belly & a swirl in the center said
"My owners & I are in trouble, will you help us get to the surface?" Rotom Dex asked
"Poliwag." The Pokémon nodded
Meanwhile, a girl with short red hair tied into a side ponytail with blue elastic rubber band, green eyes, wearing a yellow tank top, red suspenders, denim shorts that stop at her thighs & red sneakers with yellow lining & white laces was fishing. Suddenly her fishing rod was jerking
"Looks like I got a bite." The girl said as she fished out the gang & gasped
"Mallow, are you okay?" Ash asked
"Yeah, I guess." Mallow said
"Pikachu? Bulbasaur? Bounsweet?" Ash said
"Pika Pi." Pikachu nodded
"Bulbasaur." Bulbasaur nodded
"Bounsweet." Bounsweet said
"What about you, Rotom Dex?" Ash asked
"Affirmative." Rotom Dex said
"Oh my gosh, are you guys alright?" the girl asked worriedly
"We're fine." Ash said as they got up
"What happened to you?" The girl asked
"We were attacked by a Fearow & a flock of Spearow." Ash replied "Sorry that we interrupted your fishing."
"It's fine, I'm just glad that you are all okay, but you guys should be more careful next time." The girl said
"Poliwag." The Pokémon said as it came out of the water
"Hey, it's a Poliwag." The girl said surprisingly as Rotom Dex scanned the Pokémon
Poliwag, the Tadpole Pokémon, A Water Type. Poliwag has very thin skin. It is possible to see the Pokémon's spiral innards right through the skin. Despite its thinness, however, the skin is also very flexible. Even sharp fangs bounce right off it.
"Thanks for your help, Poliwag." Ash said gratefully
"Poliwag." Poliwag smiled
Just then, they heard & noticed the Fearow & Spearow flock.
"They spotted us, come on." Ash said as he & the others except the girl ran off
"Be careful." The girl called out
"Poli." Poliwag said as it ran off with the gang
They ran from the Fearow & Spearow flock as it started to rain. When the Spearow got close, they surrounded the gang.
"Oh no." Ash said as Fearow landed on the ground
"Fearow Fear Fear." Fearow cawed
"What's it saying?" Mallow asked
"It says Ash had attacked its brother, now it's challenging you to a battle." Rotom Dex said
"Brother?" Ash repeated
"It must've been the Spearow you tried to catch." Rotom Dex said
Then I guess there's no use trying to talk to it." Ash said "Mallow, when Fearow & I start battling, I want you to run."
"What?" Mallow said
"It's too dangerous out here, I just want you to be safe." Ash said
"No Ash, I'm not leaving here without you." Mallow said "I'm gonna be here for you & I'm gonna cheer you on until you win because I like you"
"I like you too, Mallow." Ash smiled as he turned to Fearow "Listen Fearow, My name is Ash Ketchum & I'm from Pallet Town, my dream is to become a Pokémon Master & I won't let myself be defeated by you. So if it's a battle you want then it's a battle you'll get."
"Poli." Poliwag said in awe
"Ready Pikachu?" Ash said
"Pikachu." Pikachu said in determination
Fearow charged at Pikachu with Steel Wing
"Use Thunder Punch." Ash said. Pikachu's fist surrounded by yellow electricity & clashed with Fearow
"Fear!" Fearow cawed as its wings glowed white & fired crescent-shaped waves of energy from them
"Dodge & use Electro Ball." Ash said. Pikachu dodged the attack fired a ball of yellow electricity from his tail & hit Fearow
Fearow spun like a drill & hit Pikachu.
"Reversal." Ash said
"Chu!" Pikachu said as a wave of orange energy bursts out of the ground around him, his fist become surrounded in orange energy & punched Fearow
Fearow became surrounded by light blue streaks & tackled Pikachu
"Fearow." Fearow said as it became paralyzed
"Fearow's paralyzed by Pikachu's Static Ability." Rotom Dex said
"Now's our chance, use Thunder Punch." Ash said as Pikachu hit Fearow with Thunder Punch
"Now Electro Ball."
Pikachu hit Fearow with Electro Ball
"FEAROW!" Fearow said as it became surrounded in orange & gold sparkling aura
"Watch out, It's using Sky Attack!" Rotom Dex warned
"Pikachu, Volt Tackle!" Ash said
"PIKACHU!" Pikachu said as it became surrounded by golden electricity
Both Pokémon charged & clashed with each other which caused an explosion. When it cleared, both Pokémon were still standing
"Pi…Pi…" Pikachu panted heavily
"Fear…row…" Fearow panted heavily before fainting
"Way to go, Pikachu!" Ash cheered as he hugged Pikachu
"Pika!" Pikachu said happily
"Ash, you did it, you won!" Mallow cheered as she hugged him
"Bounsweet!" Bounsweet cheered
"Bulbasaur!" Bulbasaur said happily
"Poliwag!" Poliwag cheered
The Spearow flew away & retreated except Fearow & it brother
"Spearow." Spearow said in concern
"Fear." Fearow said as it slowly got up
"Hey Fearow?" Ash said as it approached
"Fear?" Fearow said as it looked at him & Ash knelt down
"I'm sorry for what I did, I didn't mean any harm." Ash apologized
"Fear…" Fearow said as it stared at him
"Y'know, I was impressed with the way you smashed through Blue's Rock Tomb & I admired the way you protected your brother." Ash said as he pet Fearow
"Fearow." Fearow said
"Hey, how would you two like to come with me." Ash said as he pulled out a Poké Ball & a Great Ball "I know we'll make a great team together, so what do you say?"
Fearow & Spearow stared at Ash before tapping the Poké Ball & Great Ball & getting captured.

After Spearow & Fearow were transported to Professor Cerise, the rain stopped & the sky became clear
"Ash look, a rainbow." Mallow said as she pointed at a rainbow
"Wow, it's beautiful." Ash said
But then the gang saw a big red phoenix-like Pokémon with yellow tail-feathers, a white underside, and green feathers at the tip of its wings. Then a rainbow-colored feather floated down towards the gang & Ash caught it.
"Wow." Ash & Mallow said in awe
"Poliwag Poliwag." Poliwag said
"What is it, Poliwag?" Ash asked "You wanna come with us too?"
"Poliwag." Poliwag nodded
"Alright, Go Dive Ball!" Ash said as he threw a Dive Ball & caught Poliwag
