The Contest Part 2
Ash & Mallow were training their Pokémon.
"Attention competitors, the battle rounds will take place at night on the full moon." Lilian announced
"Great, that gives us plenty of time." Ash said
"For what?" Mallow asked
"For our date." Ash said
"Wait, are you asking me out?" Mallow asked surprisingly
"Yep." Ash said
"Awesome!" Mallow said excitedly
After they were done training
"Hey Ash." Gary said as he approached them
"Gary? What do you want?" Ash said
"I saw you at that Contest, I have to say that was a pretty sissy stunt you did in the Appeal Rounds." Gary said as he laughed
"Well, I think my boyfriend did amazing." Mallow said
"Girlfriend?! What?!" Gary exclaimed shockingly
"You heard right, Ash is now my boyfriend." Mallow said
"But how could a loser like you get a girlfriend before me?!" Gary said in outrage
"CHUUUU/MEOOOW!" Pikachu & Meowzie said as they shocked Gary with one of their newly learned move Thunderbolt.
"AAAAAAAAAAGGH!" Gary screamed before fainting
"Let's go Mallow." Ash said as he & Mallow left
Meanwhile, Jessie & James were calling their leader who is the boss of Team Rocket. James was wearing a Blue Tank Top, Blue Leather Jacket, Blue Leather Pants & Blue Boots.
"Jessie, James, why aren't you two back at headquarters?" The Team Rocket leader asked
"We're sorry, Mr. Giovanni, but I registered for the Contest Circuit?" Jessie said
"The Contest Circuit? So you're competing in Pokémon Contests to steal other people's Pokémon?" Giovanni assumed
"No." Jessie said
"No? Why not?" Giovanni said confusingly
"Sir, my dream is to become a Pokémon Top Coordinator & I don't wanna mess it up by stealing Pokémon from other people." Jessie said.
There was silence for a moment until they heard a sigh
"Alright, you can compete in them." Giovanni said
"Thank you, Giovanni." Jessie said gratefully
"Sir, if it's okay, can I compete in the Pokémon League?" James said
"Go ahead, but I'm only allowing this because I like you two & I'm also feeling generous today." Giovanni said "Carry on & good luck."
After Giovanni hung up
"Whew, that's a relief." James said
"Yeah, for a moment I thought he was going to be angry." Jessie said "Come on James, let's get you registered for the Pokémon League."
(Back with Ash & Mallow)
Ash, Pikachu, his pets, Mallow, & her Bounsweet were wandering around the area until they heard yelling
"Stupid!" A voice yelled
They looked & saw Tom with his Alolan Rattata
"Your performance was very lousy! You're lucky we passed the Appeal Round!" Tom yelled angrily
"Rat" Rattata sighed sadly
"Hey, that's no way to talk to your Pokémon, you're Rattata's performance was great." Ash said
"Yeah, so there's no need to yell at it" Mallow said "You should be happy & proud, not angry & disappointed."
"You stay out of this, Pokémon are nothing but tools." Tom said, much to Ash & Mallow's shock. "Besides, they don't have feelings."
"What are you talking about? They do have feelings & they're not tools, they're our friends & partners." Ash said
"Tch, Whatever." Tom scoffed as he returned Alolan Rattata & left
"Hey." A voice said
Ash & Mallow looked & saw Meowth
"Oh, hey Meowth." Ash said
"I saw the whole thing, what was that twerp's problem?" Meowth said
"We don't know, but it looks like he doesn't treat his Pokémon very well." Mallow said
"I don't think he's suitable to be a Pokémon Trainer." Dex said
"Yeah, that's the second time I caught him talking to his Pokémon like that." Ash said
"If that bozo keeps that up, he's gonna get in a lot of trouble." Chatot said
"Hm, y'know, for some reason I have a suspicious feeling about that Tom twerp." Meowth said
"Is it the way he treats his Pokémon?" Meowzie asked
"Yep, but there's also something very familiar about him." Meowth said
Later on, Ash & Mallow were having a picnic date with their Pokémon
"Thanks for taking me on this wonderful date, Ash." Mallow said
"No problem, Mallow." Ash said "It's a good thing the Battle Rounds don't start until night."
"Yeah." Mallow agreed
Just then they noticed a couple of Pokémon getting away with the picnic basket
"Hey." Ash said as he went caught up with the Pokémon, took the basket, & saw 2 grayish-brown squirrel-like Pokémon & a teal-colored Pokémon with a round head, large pointy ears, & a round body
"Who're these Pokémon?" Ash said as Dex scanned the Pokémon
Skwovet, the Cheeky Pokémon, a Normal Type. Skwovet keeps Berries in its cheeks, but if its stomach is already full, it can temporarily store food in the tufts of fur on its tail.
Munchlax, the Big Eater Pokémon, a Normal Type. It conceals food under the long fur on its body. It carts around this food stash and swallows it without chewing.
"Munchlax." Munchlax said as it grabbed Ash's leg
"Skwovet." The 2 Skwovet said as they hopped & grabbed a hold of the picnic basket
"Whoa, take it easy, you three." Ash said "There's plenty of Pokémon food for everyone."
"Munch!" Munchlax said happily as it let go of Ash
"Skwovet." The 2 Skwovet said as they let go of the basket
Ash pulled out 3 extra bowls, filled them with Pokémon Food, & 2 Skwovet & Munchlax started eating
"You guys like it?" Ash asked
"Munch/Skwov." The Pokémon nodded
"I'm glad you two like it, I made it myself." Ash smiled
After everyone was done eating
"That was great." Mallow said
"It sure was." Ash said as he turned to the Munchlax & 2 Skwovet "Hey, would you three like to become my Pokémon?"
"Skwov." Skwovet nodded
"Lax." Munchlax nodded
"Great, I'm gonna name you two Scrat & Nutty." Ash said as he nicknamed the 2 Skwovet
"Skwovet." The 2 Skwovet smiled
"Alright, Go Poké Ball!" Ash said as he threw a Level Ball at Scrat, a Repeat Ball at Nutty, & a Heavy Ball at Munchlax & caught them

After Scrat, Nutty, & Munchlax got transported to Professor Cerise, Ash & Mallow went back to the contest. When the battle rounds start, Ash & Mallow won their matches against their opponents, but when they saw Tom's match
"Rattata, use Thunderbolt." Tom said
"RATTATA!" Alola Rattata said as it fired a bolt of yellow electricity & hit the opponent's Poliwag causing it to faint
"Tom is the winner." Lillian announced
"You did a good job, Poliwag, you gave it your all." Tom's opponent who is a girl said as she noticed Tom approaching her Poliwag
"Heh, "You're Pokémon are as pathetic as you are, girls like you shouldn't even have Pokémon to begin with." Tom smirked as he kicked the girl's Poliwag towards her, shocking everyone
"Ah, Poliwag!" The girl gasped shockingly as she picked up her Poliwag
"Tom, was that really necessary?" Lilian said with a scowl
"You better apologize right now." Joy demanded
"Nah, apologies are for wimps." Tom said as he walked away
"Mr. Valentine, you are walking on thin ice." Jenny warned angrily
(With the gang)
Ash, Mallow, Jessie, & Meowth became shocked & angry
"Why that arrogant little scumbag!" Chatot said angrily as he started flying away only for Ash to stop him by grabbing his leg "Let me at him! Let me at him! I'll peck his eyes out!"
"He should've been disqualified for that." Jessie said in disgust
"I think I'm gonna go outside for a little bit." Ash said as he left with Dex
When Ash got outside.
"That Tom guy sure isn't a nice guy, Dex." Ash said
"No, he's not." Dex said "& he sure isn't a good Pokémon Trainer."
"Houn!" A voice cried
"Krow!" Another voice cried
"Huh? What was that?" Ash said
Ash went to the location of the cries & found a black crow-like Pokémon with a yellow beak, red eyes, & yellow feet & a Shiny Canine-like Pokémon.
"What are they?" Ash said as Dex scanned the Pokémon
Houndour, the Dark Pokémon, a Dark & Fire Type. Houndour hunt as a coordinated pack. They communicate with each other using a variety of cries to corner their prey. This Pokémon's remarkable teamwork is unparalleled.
Murkrow, the Darkness Pokémon, a Dark & Flying Type. Murkrow was feared & loathed as the alleged bearer of ill fortune. This Pokémon shows strong interest in anything that sparkles or glitters. It will even try to steal rings from women.
Ash saw that the Pokémon were injured, so he used what he learned from Joy to heal the two.
"There, are you two alright?" Ash asked
"Houn." Houndour nodded
"Krow." Murkrow nodded
"Good, how about you guys stay with me for the time being." Ash said "Does that sound good?"
"Houndour." Houndour smiled
"Murkrow." Murkrow nodded
Unbeknownst to Ash, a small pink star-shaped Pokémon with brown ears was spying on him. When Ash got back to the waiting room
"Hey Mallow, where's Tom?" Ash asked
"In the locker room, he doesn't wanna waste time being in the same room as us." Mallow said
"Hm, not surprised by that considering how his attitude & personality is like." Ash said
When Houndour & Murkrow heard the name Tom, they were shocked. After Jessie won her match against her opponent, the matchups ended up with Mallow against Jessie & Ash against Tom
"Looks like I'm up against you, Jessie." Mallow said
"Well, we both knew this was bound to happen, so let's give it all we got." Jessie said
"Right." Mallow nodded
A few minutes later
"Folks, the first match of the semifinals is about to begin between Jessie & Mallow." Lilian said "Trainers select your Pokémon."
"Go Pidgey!" Mallow said as she sent out her Pidgey
"Pidgey." Pidgey chirped
"Go Meowth." Jessie said
"Right." Meowth said as he entered the battlefield
(With Ash.)
"Can't wait to see how Meowth battles." Ash said
"Hope the furball isn't all bark & no bite." Chatot said
"I hope he'll be okay" Meowzie thought
(On stage)
"Battle Begin!" Lilian said
MALLOW VS JESSIE
"Meowth, use Icy Wind." Jessie said. Meowth blew a gust of wind with light blue sparkle in it from his mouth
"Pidgey, Double Team." Mallow said. Pidgey glowed white, created multiple copies of herself, & avoided the attack
"Feint Attack." Jessie said as Meowth disappeared
"Where'd Meowth go?" Mallow said surprisingly
"Peek-A-Boo!" Meowth said as he reappeared in front of the real Pidgey
"Pidgey!?" The real Pidgey exclaimed startlingly before getting hit by Meowth
"Use Air Cutter." Mallow said. Pidgey's wings glowed light blue, fired light blue X-shaped blades from them & hit Meowth
"Use Pay Day." Jessie said. Meowth's charm glowed yellow, multiple coins appeared around him, then he launched them at Pidgey & hit her
"Now, Iron Tail."
Meowth's tail glowed white & charged at Pidgey
"Use Feather Dance." Mallow said. Pidgey flapped her wings & released a shroud of white feathers from them which caught Meowth
"Now, Brave Bird."
Pidgey became surrounded in light blue aura & hit Meowth, causing an explosion. When the smoke cleared, Meowth had fainted.
"Meowth is unable to battle, Pidgey wins." Lilian said
"Are you okay, Meowth?" Jessie asked
"I guess so." Meowth said
"That was a great battle, you two." Mallow said
"Congratulations on your win." Jessie said
"Thank you." Mallow said as she knelt down to Meowth "You certainly are strong, Meowth."
"You mean it?" Meowth said
"Yeah, no doubt you'll be stronger than your evolved form." Mallow said as she pet Meowth on the head
"…Thank you." Meowth said
After the match, Meowth was in the hallway.
"Meowth?" A voice said
"Hm?" Meowth said as he turned & saw Meowzie "Meowzie?"
"You did a great job in that battle." Meowzie complimented
"I told ya I knew how to fight." Meowth said
"Hey, about what I said to you in Hollywood." Meowzie said before noticing him walking away "Where are you going?"
"I'm going for a walk, I have to figure something out about that Tom twerp." Meowth said as he left
Later, Mallow, Ash's pets, & Jessie were in the waiting room watching Ash's match on the TVin
"Ladies & Gentlemen, the battle between Ash Ketchum & Tom Valentine is about to begin." Lilian announced
"I hope Ash will be able to beat that snot-nosed little jerk." Jessie said
"He will." Mallow said
Murkrow & Houndour became angry when they saw Tom
"Murkrow Murkrow." Murkrow cawed
"Houn." Houndour nodded as it & Murkrow left the waiting room
"Murkrow, Houndour, where are you going?" Mallow called out
"Wonder what's gotten into them." Jessie said
(On the stage)
"Marahute, I choose you!" Ash said as he sent out Marahute
"Pidgey." Marahute chirped
"This'll be easy, go Rattata!" Tom said as he sent out his 2nd Alolan Rattata
"Rattata." Alolan Rattata said
"Battle Begin!" Lilian said
ASH VS TOM
"Rattata, use Iron Tail." Tom said.
"Marahute, Steel Wing." Ash said
Both Pokémon's Tail/Wings glowed white & clashed each other repeatedly
"Use Thunderbolt." Tom said
"Rattata!" Alolan Rattata said as it fired Thunderbolt
"Use Sand Attack." Ash said. Marahute hit the ground & sand came flying out which protected her from the Thunderbolt
"What!?" Tom said shockingly
"Use Aerial Ace." Ash said. Marahute became surrounded by light blue streaks & tackled Alolan Rattata
"Use Revenge." Tom said
"Rattata!" Alolan Rattata said as it became surrounded in orange aura & unleashed a burst of orange energy & hit Marahute
"Now, Ice Beam." Tom said. Alolan Rattata fired light blue beams of ice from its mouth which hit Marahute & froze her wing
"Use Assurance."
Alolan Rattata's hands glowed purple & charged at Marahute
"Double Team." Ash said. Marahute glowed white, created multiple copies of herself, & avoided the attack
"Now, Air Cutter."
Marahute fired Air Cutter which caused her wing to be free from the ice & hit Alolan Rattata
"Use Revenge again." Tom said as Alola Rattata he hit Marahute & her copies with Revenge
Both Pokémon were getting exhausted until
"PIDGEY!/RATTATA!" Both Pokémon said as the glowed bluish white
"What a surprise, after taking numerous hits, both Pokémon seem to be evolving." Lilian said
Marahute & Alolan Rattata evolved into bigger forms of themselves
"Pidgeo!/Raticate!" Both Pokémon said as Dex scanned them
Pidgeotto, the Bird Pokémon, a Normal & Flying Type, & the evolved form of Pidgey. Pidgeotto claims a large area as its own territory. This Pokémon flies around, patrolling its living space. If its territory is violated, it shows no mercy in thoroughly punishing the foe with its sharp claws.

"Congratulations Marahute." Ash smiled
"Pidgeo!" Marahute chirped happily
"Are you kidding me!?" Tom yelled in outrage

"I expect you to stay as a Rattata & you evolve into this stupid ugly thing!?" Tom yelled angrily
"Hey, what's wrong with Pokémon evolving?" Ash said
"Because it's stupid." Tom said as he looked at Alolan Raticate & glared at it hatefully "After this contest is over, consider yourself no use to me!"
"Rat!?" Raticate gasped in shock & hurt
"That kid isn't very nice to his Pokémon." a woman said in disgust
"Yeah, I thought he would be happy that Rattata evolved, but instead he became angry." A man said
"If he didn't want his Rattata to evolve, then he should've given it an Everstone." Another man said
"Now, let's get this over with." Tom said
"Stop the match!" A voice called out
Everyone looked & saw Meowth
"Meowth?" Ash said
"What's the big idea?" Tom said
"I knew there was something familiar about you, Tom Valentine or should I say George Voldemort of the Voldemort Family." Meowth said as everyone gasped
"W-what are you talking about?" Tom said in panic
"It all started like this." Meowth said
Flashback
Meowth was outside walking through Viridian City until he heard a few teenagers having a conversation
"Have you ever heard of the Voldemort Family?" The first teen boy asked
"Eh?" Meowth said as the conversation caught his attention
"No, who are they?" The second teen boy said
"They're a family of Pokémon Abusers. The Voldemort Family had been banned from becoming Pokémon Trainer & traveling on Pokémon journeys because all they do is abuse Pokémon. They think that Pokémon are nothing but tools & that Pokémon don't have feelings." The first teen boy explained
"Wow, that's awful." The second boy said shockingly
"Wait a minute, that's exactly what Tom said about Pokémon." Meowth thought
"But I'm afraid there's some bad news." The first teen boy said catching Meowth's attention
"What's the bad news?" The teen girl asked
"A member of the Voldemort family named George Voldemort escaped his hometown & he's on the run. I think he might be trying to become a Pokémon Trainer." The first teen boy explained
"Oh no, I feel terrible for the Pokémon he's gonna catch." The teen girl said worriedly
"I hope the cops catch him soon." The second boy said as he & his friends left
After the teenagers left
"I knew there was something fishy about that Tom twerp, I have to get back to the contest & quick" Meowth said as he ran back to the Contest
Flashback End
"So, it really is you, George Voldemort." Jessie glared
"No, that Meowth is lying." Tom said in panic
"The way you treat your Pokémon says otherwise." Joy said
"Dang it, this wasn't supposed to happen." George thought in panic
"Houn!" Houndour growled as it & Murkrow approached George
"Murkrow!" Murkrow cawed angrily
"What are you two doing here!?" George exclaimed shockingly
"So, you know these Pokémon." Mallow said as she, Jessie, & James arrived on stage
"Houndour Houn." Houndour said
"Houndour said that George used to be their trainer who abused & abandoned them." Dex translated as Murkrow went to Ash
"Murkrow Murkrow." Murkrow cawed
"What is it, Murkrow?" Ash asked
Murkrow left, came back with a bag, & gave it to Ash
"Hey, that's my bag!" George called out
"Murkrow." Murkrow said
"Murkrow said to look into it." Murkrow said
Ash opened George's bag & saw 2 Pokémon Eggs
"They're Pokémon Eggs." Ash said
Just then George's Alolan Rattata came out of its Poké Ball & approached Ash
"Rattata Rattata." Alolan Rattata said
"Rattata said that George was planning to eat those Pokémon Eggs." Dex translated as everyone gasped in shock & became even more angry
"HE WAS WHAT!?" Ash yelled shockingly
"What's the big deal? There just a bunch of stupid eggs." George said
"You monster! There's unborn Pokémon in those Eggs & eating Pokémon Eggs is against the law." Joy yelled angrily
"I think I'm gonna be sick." Meowth said as he covered his mouth & his face turned green
"I've heard enough, George Voldemort, you are under arrest for numerous charges" Jenny said
"You have to catch me first." George said as he ran away only to be stopped by his previous opponent "Huh?"
"This is for what you did to my Poliwag!" The girl said as she kicked him in the groin
"AAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" George screamed in pain as everyone laughed
"Houn!" Houndour said as it fired a blue Flamethrower & set George on fire
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAGH! IT BURNS! IT BURNS!" George screamed as everyone kept laughing
"Murkrow!" Murkrow said as it fired Icy Wind
"Rat!" Alolan Rattata & Alolan Raticate said as they fired Ice Beam
George became frozen to the neck down by the Ice Beam & Icy Wind
"Alright George, now for your punishments: You're banned from catching anymore Pokémon, battling, & doing contests, your trainer license is now revoked, & you'll be banished to an island with no Pokémon or people & you'll never return to the mainland." Jenny said "While you're at the island you'll be alone forever, you won't have delicious food, comfortable bed, or clothes except the ones you're wearing. You are not allowed to contact anyone delivering you food & you'll be having a tracker on your leg to make sure you don't leave even when you're on a beach & touch seawater. Security, take him away."
"What!? No! You can't do this to me! I'm not done with you, I'll get my revenge!" George screamed as security took him away.
"Hey Jenny, Joy, I have something to ask." Ash said
"What is it?" Jenny said
Ash whispered something to Jenny & Joy
"Alright." Joy said "Ladies & Gentlemen, Ash has decided to give his friend Mallow one of the Prize Eggs which means that both Ash & Mallows are winners of the Contest."
Everyone cheered, suddenly the Prize Pokémon Eggs glowed white
"What's this? It looks like the Eggs are already hatching." Lilian said
Everyone watched as Ash's prize Egg hatched into a small blue & black canine-like Pokémon with a yellow collar & Mallow's prize Egg hatched into a small green reptilian-like Pokémon with yellow eyes, a red throat & stomach, & a large dark green tail.
"Riolu!" The first Pokémon said
"Treecko!" The second Pokémon said
"It's a Riolu & Treecko." Joy said as Dex scanned the Pokémon
Riolu, The Emanation Pokémon, a Fighting Type. It can use waves called auras to gauge how others are feeling. These same waves can also tell this Pokémon about the state of the environment.
Treecko, The Wood Gecko Pokémon, a Grass Type. Treecko has small hooks on the bottom of its feet that enable it to scale vertical walls. This Pokémon attacks by slamming foes with its thick tail.
"Welcome to the world, Riolu." Ash said "I'm gonna name you Aura Anubis."
"Riolu." Riolu smiled
Ash caught Aura with a Great Ball & Mallow caught Treecko with a Friend Ball

"We want to congratulate you on your wins." James said
"Thanks, so I guess we're back to being enemies?" Ash asked
"Yes, we're afraid so." James said
"When it comes to Contests, Gym battles, & League Battles, you can consider us rivals & we promised not to steal any Pokémon during those times." Jessie said
"You mean it?" Ash said
"You have our word." Meowth said
"Until next time." Jessie said as she left with James & Meowth
"Murkrow, Houndour, Rattata, Raticate, how would you four like to come with me." Ash offered "I promise I'll be a great Pokémon Trainer to you
"Houn/Krow/Rat/Cate." The Pokémon accepted
"Are you gonna name them too?" Mallow asked
"Yep, I'm gonna name them Blue Cerberus, Boss Crow, Scabbers, & Templeton." Ash said
Ash caught Blue Cerberus(Houndour) with a Quick Ball, Boss Crow(Murkrow) with a Dusk Ball, & returned Scabbers(Alolan Rattata) & Templeton(Alolan Raticate) to their Poké Balls

After the Pokémon were transported to Professor Cerise
"Hi guys." Misty said
"Hi Misty." Ash said
"I saw the Contest, you two were terrific." Misty praised
"Thanks." Mallow said
"Hey, if it's alright with you, may I travel with you two?" Misty said
"Sure." Mallow said
"Yeah, it'll be a blast having you travel with us." Ash said
"Great, shall we call it a night & get going tomorrow?" Misty said
"Good idea." Mallow said
"Hold on, you two, before you guys hit the sack, we're having a celebration tonight." Lilian said "Wanna join?"
"Yeah." The gang said
At the celebration, Ash led Mallow out of the party, took her to the lake, & asked her to dance with her which she accepted & the two started slow dancing together
"This has been a crazy day & night, hasn't it?" Ash said
"Yep, & it just got better." Mallow said
The two leaned in & kissed each other on the lips. Unbeknownst to them Gary was watching them.
"Hm, how dare that loser have all that luck" Gary grumbled with jealousy as he left in a huff
The small Pokémon that was spying on Ash was also watching them
"Cleffa." The Pokémon watched in awe
Meanwhile, George was at his island prison.
"I'll have my revenge, just you wait." George swore
