Mallow & Team Rocket
A day later after Ash caught Meowzie & the 2 Rattata,, the gang went to Prof. Oak's lab.
"Hey Professor." Ash said
"Hello there, my boy." Oak greeted "Are you here to train your Pokémon?"
"Sure." Ash said
"Good." Oak said as he noticed Meowzie & the 2 Rattata. "Who is this?"
"These three are Pokémon I caught yesterday." Ash said
"Oh splendid, it's about time you caught a new Pokémon." Oak smiled joyfully "Also, there's someone who's here to see you."
"Who?" Ash said curiously
A girl with tan skin, green eyes, green hair styled in twin tails, wearing a pink flower in her hair, a pink tank top, light gray overalls with spiky white frills & green & white shoes. She also had a small mangosteen-like Pokémon with beady yellow eyes & two tiny legs
"Mallow." Ash said surprisingly
"Hi Ash." Mallow said as she hugged him "It's so great to see you."
"I can't believe it, you're here." Ash said happily & he hugged her back
"Ash, who is she?" Misty said
"This is my old friend Mallow." Ash said "When I was five years old, Mom & I visited the Alola Region where we stayed during the summer. That's where Mallow & I met, & we've been great friends ever since."
"You must be Ash's other friends." Mallow assumed
"We are, my name's Misty & this is Togepi." Misty said
"Togepi." Togepi cooed
"& I'm Brock, pleasure to meet you." Brock said
"Likewise, this is my Pokémon, Bounsweet." Mallow said
"Bounsweet." Bounsweet greeted
"Wow, a Bounsweet." Ash said as he pulled out his Pokédex

"Aw man." Ash groaned
"Here Ash." Oak said as he gave him an object that resembled a Visteon Dockable Entertainment "It's a new Pokédex, you can scan Bounsweet with it."
Ash scanned Bounsweet with the new Pokédex
Bounsweet, the Fruit Pokémon, Because of its sweet, delicious aroma, bird Pokémon are always after it, but it's not intelligent enough to care. It tries to resist being swallowed by a bird Pokémon by spinning the sepals on its head. It's usually a fruitless attempt.
"Is Bounsweet a Grass Type, by any chance?" Misty asked
"She is." Mallow said
"Would you like to come out & meet my Pokémon?" Ash asked
"Of course." Mallow nodded
When they went outside to the ranch & they were approached by Ash's Pidgeotto, Muk, Krabby, & first Tauros
"Pidgeo!" Pidgeotto said
"Muk." Muk said
"Rooor." Tauros said
"Kuki Kuki." Krabby said
"Hey guys, are you ready for some training?" Ash asked
"Pidgeo/Kuki/Roor/Muk." They nodded
"Come on out!" Ash said as he sent out his Bulbasaur, Squirtle, & Charizard
"Bulba." Bulbasaur said
"Squirtle." Squirtle said
"Rargh." Charizard said
"Everyone, before we start training I want you all to meet Mallow & her Bounsweet." Ash introduced "She's an old friend of mine from the Alola Region."
"Hello." Mallow greeted
The Pokémon greeted her back except Charizard who scoffed
"Wow Ash, your Pokémon are amazing, especially your Bulbasaur." Mallow complimented
"You must really love Grass Types." Brock said
"I do." Mallow said
"Also there are new members of our team. Meet Meowzie & Rattata." Ash introduced
"Meowth." Meowzie greeted
"Rattata." Rattata 1 & 2 greeted
"Rargh." Charizard growled at them
"Meow." Meowzie hissed defensively
"Charizard don't do that." Ash demanded
"Rargh!" Charizard said as he shot fire from his mouth at Meowzie.
Meowzie released a stream of water from her mouth which doused through the Flamethrower & hit Charizard
"Rargh." Charizard said as he was off guard
"Rattata!" Rattata 2 said as he fired a powerful blast of yellow electricity & hit Charizard
"Raaaargh!" Charizard roared in pain
'RATTATAAA!" Rattata 2 yelled as he glowed bluish white & evolved into Raticate "Raticate."
"Rattata evolved into Raticate." Brock said as Ash pulled out his Pokédex

"He wasn't when he was a Charmander, he started acting like this ever since he evolved into Charmeleon then into Charizard." Ash's said
*BOOM*
"What's that?" Mallow said
"Not them again." Brock said
"Prepare for trouble." Jessie said
"& make it double." James said
"To protect the world from devastation."

"To denounce the evils of truth and love"
"To extend our reach to the stars above."
"Jessie."
"James."
"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light."
"Surrender now or prepare to fight."
"Meowth, that's right!" Meowth said
"Ash, who are they?" Mallow asked
"They're Team Rocket, bad guys who steal other people's Pokémon." Ash exclaimed
"Meow?!" Meowzie said as she went towards Meowth
"Huh, Meowzie?" Meowth said shockingly "What are you doing here?"
"Meowth Meow Meow?" Meowzie said
"Meowzie, do you know Meowth?" Ash asked
"Meow." Meowzie nodded
"How do you know him?" Ash asked
"Allow me." Meowth said
After Meowth finished telling everyone about Meowzie & his past.
"So, that's how you learned to talk." Misty said
"Meow Meowth?" Meowzie asked
"Of course I did, I only wanted to impress you & get you to like me." Meowth said
"Meowth Meowth Meow." Meowzie apology
"Well, you were being snobbish, but I accept your apology." Meowth said "Anyway, I thought you were with that Persian?"
Meowzie told Meowth that Persian abandoned her after the scuffle between him & Meowth. She also told him that she saved two Rattata from a vicious Raticate & got injured badly, & got help from Ash. Meowth looked at Ash
"Thanks for helping Meowzie & taking her in, who knows what would happen if you hadn't come along." Meowth said gratefully
"You're welcome, but I don't think you three should continue working for Team Rocket." Ash said
"What? Why not?" Jessie said confusingly
"Well, let's face it, you're not good at being evil since you have helped us at times." Ash said "Like the sunken St. Anne for example."
"He has a point, we have cheered on his Pikachu before the twerp's Vermilion Gym rematch." James said
"& at that time at Maiden's Peak." Jessie mentioned
"Exactly, & your leader is only using you for his own purposes." Ash said "Once he gets what he wants, he'll just throw you away like pawns."
"What?!" The trio said shockingly
"Would he really do that?" Meowth asked
"Believe me, I know." Ash said
"What do you think we should do?" Jessie said
"Have you guys ever thought of becoming Pokémon Trainers." Ash asked
"Well, we attended Pokémon Tech, but we failed." James said
"& we took the Pokémon League Admission Exams, but we failed that as well." Jessie said
"No, I mean as real Pokémon Trainers, like traveling, catching Pokémon & competing in gyms & league tournaments." Ash said
"Well, not really, but do you think it will work out for us?" Jessie said
"I know it will." Ash smiled
"Alright, we'll give it a try." James said
Oak gave Jessie & James the privilege of picking their starter Pokémon. Jessie chose Charmander & James chose Squirtle. After receiving their Pokémon & Pokédex's.
"Hey Ash, before we go, we want to give one of our Pokémon." Jessie said
"Really? Which ones?" Ash asked as they sent out Lickitung & Victreebel
"Licki." Lickitung said
"Bel!" Victreebel said
"We're giving you Lickitung & Victreebel." James said
"Are you sure about that?" Ash asked
"Trust me, it's for the best." Jessie said
"Okay, I'll take good care of them." Ash said
"Hey Ash, mind if I join you?" Meowth asked "it's the least I can do to thank you for helping Meowzie."
"Sure." Ash said
"Goodbye Victreebel, be sure to listen to Ash, okay?" James said as he petted Victreebel
"Bel." Victreebel nodded
"You too, Lickitung." Jessie said
"Licki." Lickitung nodded
After they left, Ash caught Meowth & scanned him Lickitung & Victreebel with his Pokédex

Charizard who saw the whole thing stared at Ash. He was beginning to think about the way he was acting towards him. He remembered when he saved him from the rain & remembered how much Ash loved & cared about him. Then Charizard realized he was becoming just like his former Trainer Damian & he didn't want that. The thought of it made him feel bad & guilty, so he went up to Ash.
"Rargh." Charizard said
"Hm? What is it, Charizard?" Ash asked
"Rargh." Charizard said
"Charizard says he's sorry for the way he's been acting towards you & he'll start listening to you from now on." Meowth translated
"You really mean it?" Ash said surprisingly
"Rargh." Charizard nodded
"Thanks Charizard." Ash said as he hugged Charizard
Charizard then looked at Meowzie, Rattata, & Raticate.
"Rargh." Charizard apologized
"Meowth." Meowzie smiled
"Raticate." Raticate nodded
"Rattata." Rattata smiled
"Alright everyone, it's time to train." Ash said
