An hour later after the gang caught the rest of the rescued Pokémon, Brock was cooking lunch, Misty & Mallow were having a conversation, & Ash was off to catch more Pokémon. When Ash came back
"Hey Ash, did you catch any new Pokémon?" Mallow asked
"Well, I did catch a Beedrill, but I accidentally caught two more along with 2 Weedle, 2 Caterpie, 2 Kakuna, & 12 Rattata." Ash said
"Was it like the time when you accidentally caught your 29 Tauros?" Misty asked
"Yeah." Ash said
"It's alright Ash, you can trade them along with the Tauros at the Trading Convention in Cinnabar Island." Brock said "Besides, not everyone wants a Tauros."
While they were eating, they heard a sound.
"Freeeee!" A voice said
"Huh?" Ash said as he looked up & gasped
Ash saw 2 Butterfree, one Butterfree had a yellow scarf around its neck & the other one was pink.
"It can't be…" Ash said shockingly he realized who the first Butterfree was
"It is, it's your Butterfree, Ash." Brock said
"Freee Freee." Ash's Butterfree said
"Butterfree!" Ash said happily as he hugged the his Butterfree
Both of them cried tears of joy
"That's Ash's Butterfree?" Mallow asked
"Yes, Ash had to release his Butterfree, so it could fall in love & have children." Misty said
"I'm so glad to see you." Ash said "What are you & your mate doing here?"
"Free Free." Butterfree said
"I think Butterfree came back to rejoin your team with his mate." Brock said
"Really? Is that true?" Ash said surprisingly
"Free." Butterfree nodded
Ash pulled out a Poké Ball & caught Butterfree
"Welcome back, Butterfree." Ash said
Pink Butterfree then noticed Mallow & flew around her with intrigue
"I think Butterfree's mate has taken an interest in you, Mallow." Ash said
"Hm." Mallow said as he pulled out a Poké Ball "Would you like to become my Pokémon?"
"Free Free." Pink Butterfree nodded
Mallow tapped the Poké Ball on Pink Butterfree & captured her
"Well Ash, I guess you're stuck with me. We wouldn't want to separate them, would we?" Mallow said as she gave him a playful nudge
"Yeah, you're right." Ash blushed
After they finished eating, Ash & Mallow gave each other new sets of clothes. Ash wore A Red Short Sleeved shirt with a Pikachu on it, a Dark blue denim jacket, black pants & Green shoes. Mallow wore A pink Short Sleeved shirt with a picture of a Chikorita on it, a Green Denim Jacket with a pic of a Steenee on the back, green pants & Blue shoes. After they changed into their new clothes, they went to Ash's house for Mimey who was out on the front yard
"Hey Mr. Mime?" Ash said
"Mime?" Mimey said
"Can you teleport us to Cinnabar Island?" Ash said
"Mime Mime." Mimey nodded as he teleported the gang & himself to Cinnabar Island
"Wow, so this is Cinnabar Island." Mallow said in awe
"Let's get to the Pokémon Center." Ash said
When they arrived at the Pokémon Center
"Hello, how may I help you?" Nurse Joy said
"Yes, I'm Ash Ketchum & I heard that there was a Trading Convention here in the Pokémon Center." Ash said "I have 29 Tauros, 12 Rattata, 2 Beedrill, 2 Kakuna, 2 Weedle, & 2 Caterpie I'm willing to trade for other Pokémon."
"Okay, I'll make an announcement right away." Joy said as she went to her microphone "Attention all Pokémon Trainers in & out of the Trading Convention, there's a Trainer by the name of Ash Ketchum who has 29 Tauros, 12 Rattata, 2 Beedrill, 2 Kakuna, 2 Weedle, & 2 Caterpie up for trading. If you want any of these Pokémon, please seek him out at the Trading Convention in the Pokémon Center."
Nurse Joy led the gang to a big room where the Trading Convention was. After the gang went to one of the Trading machines, they were approached by a Prince & Princess
"Greetings, Sir Ketchum." The princess greeted as she did a courtesy bow
"We're here to trade our Pokémon for your Tauros." The prince said.
The Princess pulled out a Dive Ball & sent out a Shiny Dragonite & the prince pulled out a Luxury Ball & sent out a three headed dragon-like Pokémon.
"Gon!" Dragonite bellowed
"Hydreigon!" The other Pokémon roared as Ash pulled out his Pokédex
Hydreigon, the Brutal Pokémon, This brutal Pokémon travels the skies on its six wings. Anything that moves seems like a foe to it, triggering its attack. This Hydreigon is Shiny
"Hydreigon is usually from the Unova region." The prince said
"Awesome, but are you sure we want to trade them?" Ash asked

Roserade, the Bouquet Pokémon, It attracts prey with a sweet aroma, then downs it with thorny whips hidden in its arms. With the movements of a dancer, it strikes with whips that are densely lined with poison thorns.
Breloom, the Mushroom Pokémon, Breloom closes in on its foe with light and sprightly footwork, then throws punches with its stretchy arms. This Pokémon's fighting technique puts boxers to shame.

"Ladies & Gentlemen, welcome to the Cinnabar Drawing Contest." Blaine announced "We have 10 contestants participating & only one will win. The winner of the contest will receive 30 Pokémon Eggs. Contestants have 30 minutes to complete their drawings before time runs out."
30 minutes later, the contestants finished their drawings & revealed them. Ash had drawn a picture of himself with Pikachu & Meowzie. The judges looked at each contestant's drawing before making a decision. A few minutes later.
"The judges have decided & the winner is…Ash!" Blaine announced as the audience applauded "But that's not all."
The back curtains opened & revealed a big purple ball with the number 999
"We have a bonus round which is a lottery." Blaine said "Pick a random number from the bowl & you'll earn something extra special in this prize ball."

"Alright, the winning number is…" Blaine said as the screen showed the winning number "777!"

Oak was hanging out with Meowth in his lab until Mimey appeared
"What is it, Mr. Mime?" Oak asked

"Mr. Mime said Ash won several Pokémon Eggs in a contest & he is gonna teleport them here in the lab." Meowth translated
"Alright, send them in." Oak said
"Mime." Mimey said as he teleported away
A few seconds later, the first Egg appeared in the air & Oak caught it.
"Wonderful." Oak smiled
