After the gang teleported back to Oak's Lab
"Professor?" Ash said
"Right here." Oak said as he & Meowth was still laying under the pile of Eggs
"Oh, whoops." Ash sweatdropped "Mr. Mime use Psychic."
"Mime." Mimey said as his eyes glowed light blue & telekinetically got the Eggs off of them
"Are you alright?" Ash asked as he & Brock helped Oak on his feet
"I'm fine." Oak said
"Hey Professor, is there a room we can put these Pokémon Eggs
"Yes, there's an Egg Storage Room." Oak said
After the gang put the Eggs in the Egg Storage Room, Ash went outside pulled out the Poké Balls which he won from the contest & sent out the Pokémon that was contained in them. 3 of them was a Slowbro, an Alakazam, & a Sandslash. 3 of them was a different looking Slowbro, Muk, & Sandslash & the rest of them were Pokémon they haven't seen before. Ash pulled out his Pokédex
Slowbro, the Hermit Crab Pokémon, Galar Form, A Shellder bite set off a chemical reaction with the spices inside Slowbro's body, causing Slowbro to become a Poison Type Pokémon.

While they were racing
"Come on Ash, last one there is a rotten Exeggcute." Mallow said as she sped up with Twilight
"In your dreams, Mallow." Ash said as he after them with Ponyta
They got to a big area with a river.
"This seems like a nice place to train." Ash said
"Yeah…hey Ash?" Mallow said
"Yeah?" Ash said
"You remember when I kissed your cheek back at Cinnabar Island?" Mallow asked
"I do." Ash said
"Well…the reason why I did that is because…I like you." Mallow said blushing
"You like me?" Ash said
"Yes, ever since you went back to Kanto, I've been missing you & thinking about you every single day." Mallow said "& I was hoping we can be more than friends & be together as a couple."
"To be honest, I feel the same way." Ash said
"Really? You mean it?" Mallow asked surprisingly
"Yeah, I like you too & you're one of the best things that's ever happened to me?" Ash said
"Oh Ash!" Mallow said joyfully as she hugged him
Pikachu, Meowzie, Ponyta, & Twilight smiled as they were touched by the scene
"So Ash, who do you think is a better cook?" Mallow asked
"Well, I think Brock is a better cook." Ash said jokingly
"What!?" Mallow exclaimed as she tackled him in the water "What did you just say!?"
"Take it easy, I was just kidding!" Ash said
After that, they were walking through the forest hand in hand until they saw three injured Pokémon. One was a brown rabbit-like Pokémon with cream colored fluff & two of them were small panda-like Pokémon. Ash pulled out his Pokédex
Pancham, the Playful Pokémon, It does its best to be taken seriously by its enemies, but its glare is not sufficiently intimidating. Chewing on a leaf is its trademark.
Buneary, the Rabbit Pokémon, Its arms and legs are weak, but when it rolls its ears up tight and then unleashes them with its full force, it can smash boulders to dust.
"We have to take them to Professor Oak." Mallow said
"Hold on, I have a better idea." Ash said as he turned to Twilight "Twilight, use Heal Pulse."
"Nyta." Twilight said as she pointed the tip of her horn towards the Pancham & Buneary. She became surrounded in pink aura & released a pink pulse from her her & healed them
"Bun?" Buneary said as it stood up
"Pancham?" The 2 Pancham said as they got up
"Are you three alright?" Ash asked
"Pancham, Pancham!" The 2 Pancham said as they latched on to his legs
"I think they like you, Ash." Mallow giggled
Buneary saw Pikachu & couldn't help but stare. When Pikachu noticed Buneary staring at him.
"Pika." Pikachu smiled as he waved at Buneary
"Bun." Buneary blushed as it looked away
"Hey Ash, can we take them with us." Mallow said
"Sure." Ash said
Ash caught the 2 Pancham & Mallow caught the Buneary

"I just thought I'd visit my Pokémon here at the ranch." Gary said before noticing Mallow "Who's this?"
"This is Mallow, she's from the Alola Region." Ash said "She's also my—"
"Girlfriend." Mallow interrupted. "I'm his Girlfriend."
"HUH!?" Gary, Misty, & Brock exclaimed as Oak had surprised look on his face
"Ash, since when did Mallow become your girlfriend?" Misty asked shockingly
"Recently." Ash said
"Seriously? What does she see in a loser like you?" Gary asked with a hint of jealousy
"Easy, Ash is caring, funny, & selfless with a big heart." Mallow said "Unlike a pompous jerk like you."
Gary growled at that statement but kept his cool
"No matter, anyway, how many Pokémon have you caught since I left?" Gary smirked "I bet you still have the same Pokémon last time I was here."
"I wouldn't say that, Gary." Oak said
"What?" Gary said
"Ash, call all your Pokémon here." Oak said
"Right." Ash nodded
Ash had his Bulbasaur use Solar Beam to call the rest of his Pokémon over. When they came, Gary was stunned as eyes widened & his mouth gaped, he was more shocked when most of Ash's Pokémon were Shiny.
"Those are all Ash's Pokémon?" Gary asked shockingly
"Yes, all 136 of them." Oak said
"136!" Gary exclaimed "How!?"
"I saved most of them from a Pokémon Hunter, I won 20 of them in a lottery, caught three of them here, three of them I was given to by a couple of friends, caught three of them in Hollywood, one returned to me after I released it, & I traded my 29 Tauros, 12 Rattata, 2 Beedrill, 2 Kakuna, 2 Weedle, & 2 Caterpie for the rest of them." Ash said
"& there's 30 more of them on the way." Oak said
"What do you mean?" Gary asked confusingly
When they went to the Egg Storage Room & showed Ash's 30 eggs
"WHAAAAAAT!?" Gary yelled shockingly as his eyes bulged out & his jaw dropped to the floor.
"I won these eggs at a Drawing Contest in Cinnabar Island." Ash said
"Once these Eggs hatch, Ash will have a total number of 166 Pokémon." Oak said as Gary became more jealous
"But grandpa, I'm your grandson, I'm supposed to be better than him!" Gary complained angrily
"YOU EGOCENTRIC FOOL!" Oak snapped with a scowl
"Wha!?" Gary said surprisingly as he stepped back
"You clearly don't understand, do you?" Oak scolded "Just because you're my grandson doesn't mean you're better than everyone else. Ash cares about his Pokémon & treats them with love & trust & all you care about is winning battles & being better than others. Think about that."
With that left in a huff while grumbling.
"Are you okay, Professor?" Ash said with concern
"It's alright, my boy." Oak said "I'm sorry."
"Sorry? About what?" Ash asked
"I'm sorry about the way he's treated you over the years, it's my fault that he's like this." Oak said with shame
"Hey, don't blame yourself for that, you did the best you could." Ash said
"Thank you, but my best wasn't good enough." Oak said "Listen Ash, the way you care & treat your Pokémon with love & trust proves that you're a better trainer than Gary."
"Thanks Professor." Ash said
"Just promise me you won't ever be like him & keep being your own person." Oak said
"Don't worry, Professor. I promise." Ash said
