Ch 37: Fluffy tails

Kyushu Fuyuki city Japan, Einzbern's Castle, outdoor patio September 14th, 2012 4:50 pm Multi pov
It did take for them to catch sight of the impressive castle along with its german aesthetics pleasing to the eye. From road to front entrance fountain along with the impressive choice of plants and flowers. What more can you say other than impressive. Though while the outwards appearance was impressive, the interior was majestic with the golden chandeliers, red carpet, white marble floor, and redwood railings on the second floor passed by heading to the Patio area. Being escorted by Sella and Leysritt while Illya went up to the second floor to sort out her thoughts for a bit.
The patio itself is honestly one of the more impressive parts of the castle itself. From the various array of flowers to coloring pallets of the bricks that form into different designs or patterns. After being escorted here both Sella and Leysritt excused themselves and headed back inside the castle. It wouldn't be till 30 minutes that Illya showed up in the Patio being flacked by Sella and Leysritt who bring out redwood chairs and black marble tables and setting them up in the middle.
Then they headed back once more before coming back with a white and blue expensive set of teacups and small plates. Afterward, we took our place around the table with Myself, Naruto, and Naruko on the opposite end of Illya, and almost in between was Irisviel who was being quiet for the most part. Finally, after the tea was poured for us by Sella before took a step back near Leysritt. Illya looking a lot more composed and exuding an eerie but confidant aura around her spoke up with a small smile
Illya "Let get to the main subject shall we. What's this about extending my life even after the holy grail war? If it's even possible at this point." she asks them sincerely with a slight smile on her face
Hajime "Let's just say I'm looking for potential associates, allies, or perhaps even friends down the road. That could be a bodyguard of sorts from me. Though that's mostly a front to keep a group happy and instead of having them force their people into my inner circle. Your mother asked me to consider you as a candidate of sorts. Though to be honest you have already impressed me validating your candidacy." he says honestly with a grin
Illya "Heh I didn't know that. It seems my supposed mother thought highly of me even after she was dead. Although I swore that it was you who told me that father abandoned me killed you?" she says in slight curiosity while still having her smile and tilting her head slightly.
Irisviel "I'm pretty certain that whoever you spoke to wasn't me even if it looked like me. After all, I know Kiritsugu would have his damnedest to try to take you away from Grandfather and not turn you into what you've become." she says seriously with a serious expression on her face
Illya "Well good old father dearest never once showed up whatsoever. He even replaced me with someone else and raised him," she says amused with still having a smile on her face
Irisviel "That isn't true, I know for a certain sweetie that he would've done his everything to get you back. I'd say it must have been grandfather's doing in not letting you see him. I mean he didn't get the grail after all for us even though he by all accounts won." she says back honestly but still having a serious expression on her face
Illya (I wouldn't put it past that old geezer in doing such a thing...But good old father did place me with onii-chan. I know mother wouldn't lie to me even if she's somehow a servant) she says to herself
Illya "It's not like I trust grandfather mother, after all, he did alter me in some form making me stay in this way as well gave me harsh training in our craft. So I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that perhaps my deceased father did try. But it wasn't enough and here we are now with me become the lesser vessel as the Einzberns have always been for the past four holy grail wars including yourself. But the fact remains that father did replace me with someone and I have proof" she says with a composed expression
Hajime "Perhaps in a way you're right about you being replaced by this other child Illyasviel-san. But even you have admitted that your grandfather isn't to be a trusted individual. So at the moment, you're looking through a singular lens that using both eyes to see the whole picture. Who knows you find something that will change your hatred and rage against your deceased failure of a father and your supposed replacement" he says respectfully with having a serious expression
Irisviel "Hey!" she yells with a slight angered expression
Hajime "No need to get mad Irisviel-san, After all, I'm right saying he's a failure as a father even if he's was considered a great man of respect and earned your love. At least to me, he is when he couldn't even save his trapped daughter and raised her as his own. He even didn't make it to protect you from your death at the hands of the fake priest." he says bluntly with a composed expression.
Illya (Oh I like him) she says mentally while still having a composed expression
Irisviel "...It still doesn't give you the right to badmouth the one who gave me happiness in my short life alive and brought me the joys of being a mother." she says seriously with still having an angry expression looking at him
Hajime "Perhaps but I'm entitled to my opinion, just be glad I'm not saying anything harsh considering everything. After all, he's a very overprotective man after all," he says amused with a knowing grin on his face
Illya "What do you mean by that?" she asks with a slight smile
Both Hajime and Irisviel look towards each other briefly before looking back at Illya
Hajime "Let's just say you may get the answer to that question should your answer be adequate. But for now only your mother along with a few others a privy to that knowledge," he says with a grin on his face
Irisviel "Considering your opinion about Kiristugu, you may or may not have a violent reaction. Compared to my own at the time when I asked the same thing," she says cryptically with a slightly sad smile.
Illya "That honestly just makes me want to know more. I may even just force it out of you," she says back with a slight grin of her own
Irisviel "Honey, sweetie I would recommend against that and not just because he has servants backing him up. Not including me since I would try to fight against him and fail in doing so," she says honestly with a serious expression
Illya merely raises a questioning eyebrow at her mother's words before looking back at Hajime before speaking to her berserker
Illya (He doesn't seem like much but would you have trouble in taking him?) she asks mentally
Berserker (...GRR…) he says back
Illya (So berserker is uncertain….that concerning considering who he is) she says to herself in slight worry while looking directly at Hajime drinking her tea.
Illya (Okay what about the other two children he brought with him)
Berserker (GRRRRR...GRRR) he says back
Illya (So a lot easier compared to him but with slight difficulty at first...Well then maybe allying with them isn't a bad idea after all) she says mentally with a thinking expression on her face
Illya "If you say so mother, but I'll thank about giving a chance at my replacement after if he survives me trying to kill him," she says bluntly with a smile on her face
Irisviel "Hey wait minute…" she tries to say but is interrupted
Hajime "Just leave it at that Irisviel-san, this is honestly the best compromise you're going to get out of your daughter. Just be glad she's giving your words some thought even though weren't around her later years. After all in a way you're partially to blame for her truing out this way for dying on her instead of trying to escape your family's hold on you and your husband. You know it true after everything I've told you these past months." he says respectfully with a serious expression
Irisviel "Fine, but that doesn't mean I like this," she says honestly with a pout on her face
Illya "So getting back on topic about me extending my life?" she says back respectfully with a smile on her face ignoring her mother's adorable pout.
Hajime "Right so remember when I said we weren't exactly human," he says with a slight smile.
Illya "Yes I also remember saying to the lot of you being that you be failures compared to me and my maids. As well making a snarky remark about you being stronger and superior to us." she says respectfully with a grin while staring at him with clam gaze
Hajime "That I did, so isn't of telling we aren't human it's better to show you. After all, actions speak louder than words, just don't sick your invisible friend at us, or else our invisible friends and ourselves will retaliate." he says informatively with a slightly predatory grin and serious gaze.
Illya "That's fair I suppose though I, my friends, and my maids will retaliate as well if it's just a ruse of getting me killed before the war," she says bluntly with slight unamused eyes.
Hajime "Fair, musuko, musume you go first," he says with a grin
Both Naruko and Naruto hearing their father finally bring them into the conversion merely nodded back while keeping a serious gaze at a more deadly Illya.
Naruto/Naruko (Release) they saw mentally bring down their illusionary and invisibility upon their fox ears and seven foxtails.
Once that was done Illya's eyes went wide in surprise and even the maids Sella and Leysritt who most of the time had expressionless expressions on their doll faces. Reacted as well with their eyes lit up in alertness with one of them picking up their halberd to her hands in a battle stance.
Hajime seeing that immediately summoned both Donner & Schlag to his hands and pointed them at the maids considering the hostility they briefly let out their bodies. From there a chain reaction happen with the unknown berserker revealed himself with a loud threatening growl pointing his jagged long slab of rock blade at Hajime's neck. Right behind Irisviel with wired eyes felt a sudden click of a gun near her head. Which was a male assassin looking at her with cold eyes. Right on her throat was a very long Katana ready to lop her head off which was Okita J Soji with narrowed eyes.
Behind the Newly revealed berserker servant was Altrea with her massive multi-colored blade touching the back of his neck. Infront of his neck was a darken colored blade with dark crimson engravings on it reflecting its corrupted state of the blade than it once was. Which was being held one-handed by Artoria Alter or Salter as she was named now.
Right behind Hajime, Naruto and Naruko were Nagao Kagetora with two Nodachis in both her hands, Okita Soji with her Katana drawn in a stance, and Okita Alter also with her massive nodachi drawn in her hands ready to strike at either Illya or Berseker. And finally with her with a flaming bow from the back Tomoe Gozen aiming with three arrows drawn on the bow.
The room for the lack of a better term became very tense before Illya seeing the escalation up to the point spoke up.
Illya "Sella, Leysritt stand down. No needed to be hasty especially you Nagumo-san. Can you please stand down before this turns out to be a fight to the death. I'm sure it's not something you'd want," she says out in a commanding but blunt voice with a serious gaze.
Hajime "I'm sure we all don't want that but you can't blame me for reacting in such a way when such hostility was sent towards my children. A father has protective instincts after all plus we aren't even in an alliance yet. So I could I put my trust in you and your maids in not double-crossing us at moments notice with these talks of ours?" he asks bluntly but respectfully with a serious gaze
Illya "That's fair I suppose in that logic. But unless you wish to continue these talks of a potential alliance and becoming part of your supposed inner circle. Then please tell your servants to cease hostilities and I'll tell my berserker and my maids to cease their's as well." she says respectfully with a calm gaze
Hajime "Fair but who said these were mine and my children's servants, for all you can know they're merely allies of ours. But I'll still tell them all the same," he says back bluntly with a clam gaze of his own as he lowers both Doner & Schlag and making disappear in flashing crimson light that was emitted from on his various ring on his left hand.
Hajime/Naruto/Naruko (Stand down) they say unsion
All he sees collective nods before their sheathed or replaced their blades before disappearing one by one in blue motes save for Salter. Who both here and Berserker stared off into each other for a bit. Before she turned her gaze to Illya who looks at her with familiarity. Just as the same as she does with her before having a slightly amused grin before turning to Irsviel and briefly speaking up.
Salter "She's grown up well," she says slightly amused before disappearing herself in blue motes.
Irisviel hearing that merely bites her lip contains her slight anger but shame while closing her fists hard.
Illya seeing her mother like that merely has a slight frown before speaking up
Illya "You can go now Berserker, I'll be fine," she says with a slight respectful smile looking at Hajime and the rest.
Berseker stands is an Alpha man standing at 253cm tall with having insane budling muscle and rock hard abs that can break men in two. His skin is lead in color with having medium straight slightly wavy black hair with having a decent but oldy handsome face and red eyes. In his hands like mention is a jagged slab rock blade as tall as him that he wields with a single hand. Around his massive muscular wrist are gray and black cuffs with sliver points all over it. As well as having a black and gray armored kelt cover his possibly or rather most certainly "Assets" that well break woman in seconds if commanded to use. Even by Hajime, Naruto, and Naruko standards but will most likely not ever be commanded to use as such since Illya hasn't gone too far the deep end considering she still listing to her mother's words. Even though for all intents and purpose would be considered a powerful familiar and not a person.
He merely lets out a grunt before disappearing in blue motes as well but never once leaving his eyes off Hajime who doesn't avert his eyes either. Which just before his face disappears a very large smug grin appears on his face. Hajime seeing that as he finally disappears also just slightly has a grin of his own
Hajime (Ohhh he'll be fun to play around with I'm sure) he says mentally while still having a grin on his face.
Illya "Now that everything has calmed down, my I please touch them to get a feel. After all, you may just be using Magecraft in making those animals features appear on your bodies," she says to them questioningly
Hajime merely looks to the both of them with a raised eyebrow asking them what's their answer. Both of them merely shrug their shoulders before speaking up
Naruto "I have no problem with you touching our fox ears and tails," he says bluntly while making his fox tails sway from side to side
Naruko "As long you don't touch them too much then we're fine" she also says bluntly while her fox tails also sway from side to side
Both merely get off the chairs meet in the middle making their tails bend in her direction in innovation. Illya also gets off her seat before heading to meet Naruto and Naruko in the middle. From there she looks at both their faces to their black with red hue foxtails. From there she moves her hands through the tails causing her eyes to go wide sightly
Illya (Their so soft and fully) she says slightly surprised as she continues to touches the soft and fluffy tails of Naruto and Naruko
This lasted for a few minutes before suddenly Illya felt Naruko and Naruto retract their foxtails. Bring out her seemly pleasant trance as one of them spoke up
Naruto "Alright that enough," he says in a slight hurry with a slight red embarrassed expression
Same with Naruko who also has an embarrassed expression as well. Seeing them like that cause something to format inside Illya she never had flick-on.
Illya "Ah sorry. It just you know," she says haphazardly hiding her embarrassment while saying her hands quickly from side to side however
Illya (I..Want them hehehe~) she says mentally in a slightly dark but cheerful voice
It then to stop her thoughts from devouring than they were already now she fake coughs a bit before regaining composure and speaking up
Illya "Just a quick question but are your children a part of the deal for the alliance," she asks innocently while tilting her head to the side
Hajime merely narrows her eyes at the sudden question
Hajime "Why for?" he asks back questioningly
Illya "You'd you play around with, having fun, talking too, having sleepovers that kind of thing. I mean even though I'm older than them I'm still an only child at heart who never had friends," she says logically and informing with a smile
Hajime merely narrowing his eyes while Ilya still gives him a cheerful smile. However, behind her seemly happy eyes, he can see dubious intent in her eyes flickering in and out. As well he catches her eyes slightly turning to Naruko's and Naruto's foxtails and ears. It was then a simply amused grin appears on his face before speaking up
Hajime "Perhaps, but I'm sure something can be arranged for them to be your playmates," he says respectfully with an amused grin on his face
Naruto/Naruko "Eeh?" they simply say slightly baffled turning their heads quickly to Hajime's direction who looks at them with a very amused grin
Naruto (You'd know she has dubious intent and feelings right?) he says mentally
Hajime (Don't worry it's nothing with malice or harmful intentions. Plus she's only a little girl in need of playmates) he says back bluntly
Naruko (But she admitted being older than us?) she says mentally
Hajime (You'll be fine~) he says back cheerfully
Naruto (Your getting back at us aren't you. What the hell man we were affected to) he says honestly
Hajime (I know you guys were, but you don't have to face the scornful wrath of my lovely wives back home. At most you'd get a disappointed scolding from both you Haku's and Kurama's before they end up attacking you know who out of spite) he says bluntly
Naruko (This is out of spite isn't it?) she asks defeated with her and Naruto slumping their shoulders looking at him with defeated eyes
Hajime (Ma ne~) he says back amused with a grin on his face
Naruto (That's fair we'd deserve it. But you have to admit it was a pleasant experience even though we seeming gave our consent at the time) he says to him back defeated
Hajime (You'd know that giving our consent wasn't the case with her around and you'd know it. Though it was bound to happen eventually, though the silver lining is now that we're slightly immune to her charms now. It only took indulging her for a few days) he says sarcastically with a frown on his face
Naruko (Though another silver lining was everyone else joined in at least. Though considering after a few days after that when everyone got their reason back, they'd slightly regretted it unlike us who do.) she says bluntly
Hajime (Enough of this unpleasant topic. I'm sure we're already dreading having to talk with our significant others) he says bluntly with a frown on his face while looking at the both of them
Both Naruto and Naruko merely nod in understanding. However, Illya, Sella, Leysritt, and Berserker looking at them merely raised their eyebrow in curiosity at the sudden foul mood around Hajime, Naruto, Naruko and surprising her mother who merely looks away from her briefly. Never once cathing the slight guilt but hidden yearning look she's giving to Hajime. Though unknown to them the other servants who were also paying attention to their master's mental conversation also had slightly complicated expressions of their own for a brief moment. However, breaking out of their thoughts Illya spoke
Illya "I'm assuming you have something to prove you aren't human-like your children as well mister Nagumo Hajime?" she asks
Hajime "That I do, but you'll just have to believe that I'll show you one of them before we leave after our talks are done," he says respectfully with a cheerful smile
Illya "I have no reason to doubt your words at this point, So may I ask what the three of you are I have a suspicion what you three might be. However, I could be wrong and you three could be something else entirely," she says honestly
Hajime "Phantasmal Beasts," he says bluntly with a serious gaze with a slightly predatory grin on his face the same could be said with Naruto and Naruko having the same predatory grin
Once more for the second time, Illya and her maids open their eyes in surprise. Even more, so they tell no deceit in Hajime's words
Illya "...Your...Kidding?" she asks surprised but in disbelief with a slightly shocked but serious expression
Hajime "No, As to how we know we let just say the powers at being paid us a visit and told us what we were. Even after living for quite a while never knowing if we were human or not." he says honestly with a smile
Illya "...Can you give me a minute," she says honestly while placing a hand on her face in thought trying to process everything thus far
Hajime "No worries you have all day to gather your thoughts since we have nothing else to do at the moment," he says respectfully with an amused grin
As he, Naruto, and Naruko take a sip from the good tea from their teacups a single thought goes through his mind.
Hajime (This is going to take a minute) he says to himself while still drinking his tea seeing Illya trying to process what she just heard.
Outskirts of Tokyo, Mio Estate, Massive Ball Room, September 14th, 7 pm 2012 Multi pov
It was already night and still, their masters haven't returned. Even still, today in the big hall they were watching a movie or rather a series they were watching was about the supposed second world war that brought all nations around the globe. Band of Brothers as it was called from the perspective of 501st paratroopers of the recent world power United States. They all had just finished part nine simply titled Why we fight. So far they have engrossed in these soldiers who had to go through and the trials they had to go through. As well seeing the brutality of how the war evolved from during their time of old. Though it seems out of everyone her watching it was Nobunaga who was very interested in the machinery and weaponry that Humanity conjured up to kill each other in different ways. However, this part is well...
Scheherazade "Such cruelty and barbarism" she merely said sadly while her usual meek expression was gone and replaced with a slightly angered one
As if to respond to her commit another person in the now quiet room
Scathach "Rightful so, I don't know some of us here in our times of old wouldn't have done such inhumanity against our enemies or occupied territories" she merely says honestly
Medb "Sadly I have to agree, I mean even I wasn't that cruel during my reign," she says with a shrug of her shoulders
Nobunaga "Well if what I read from the internet about this conflict. Is that my countrymen also did terrible acts during their expansion of having an empire against our enemies and the civilian populace. He'll even be saying they never did such a thing. How foolish" she says honestly with a slight from on her face
Shuten "Ma, I'd even think us Oni had more tact than that. And they called us yokai to be terminated, it seems they were more yokai than us~," she says amused while drink sake
Ibaraki "True," she says bluntly while shrugging her shoulders eating an M&Ms and other candy alongside drinking sake
Astoflo "It's a shame that the bastard took his life before he's gotten what he'd deserve. Honestly if what we read he made various strategic mistakes because of his ego and pride in their supposed race." he says slight angered but honest voice
Lartoria (Lancer Artoria) "I guess we can be grateful for his stupidity then, although he's was a dastardly foe that required all nations and countries around the world to bring him and his empire down," she says honestly with a slight frown on her face
Lalter (Lancer Artoria Alter) "Well I guess onto the final part then since we all have needed to be said isn't that right Pharoh Ozymandias," she says to him in a respectful but regal voice
Ozymandias who at his table alongside Cleopatra and Nitocris brought out his thoughts spoke up
Ozymandias "I guess so Strom King Artoria, we could continue in saying how barbaric it was for the Nazi regime ruled and ethic cleansed those under their rule. But it isn't like we did our Inhuman acts during our rule even if wasn't to the extent of the Nazi regime. Now then miss Yang mind putting it on the next part since I'm sure all of us wish to know how this band of soldiers' journey ends. Myself including" he says to her in a slight regal voice
Yang "Of course Pharoh Ozymandias," she says respectfully as she hits play on the next part.
However, just peeking through the doors were Hajime and the others who came back. Well, save for Irisviel and mister Assassin. It was then one of them spoke up
Tomoe "Not going to inform them about our alliance with the Einzberns. As well her giving her consent to you in making her part of your inner circle when her life is at an end?" she asks with a questioning look
Hajime "No I'd rather not interrupt their time watching the series. I'll Inform them once it ends in an hour or so." he says honestly with a slight smile looking at all the various important figures of human history watching Band of Brothers
Raikou "Undertsandble, so what should we do in the meantime?" she asks curiously with a happy grin on her face
Hajime "How about we have a little fun in play a game for a bit?" he asks them with a grin
Altera "If that's what you wish master," she says bluntly
Okita Alter "If that's what my master also desires then I don't mind," she says honestly with a cheerful smile on her face
Scathach "I guess we time for such things till master's time to train begins again," she says slightly amused looking at him which caused Naruto and Naruko to shudder slightly
Hajime "Alright then onwards to the gaming room," he says happily with a grin as he walks away from the door to the ballroom with everyone else following behind him
Einzbern Castle, massive dining room September 14th, 2012 8 pm Kiritsugu Pov
From the base of the balcony of the massive dying room Assassin or rather Kiritsugu Emiya as he used to call himself looked upon from the outside hidden from Caster, Lady Illya, and her Maids. A slight frown made its way to his face and slight pain to his chest looking at the happy scene of Irisviel and her supposed daughter chatting and eating together. While the maids still having expressionless expressions on their faces, every brief moment or so a simple smile makes a way to their faces looking at the sight he's currently seeing. Having enough of seeing a sight especially more so no danger was present at the moment. He made his way to the roof where clear starry night sky awaited him. As he took a seat overlooking Fuyuki city night lights from his current vantage point a single thought made its way to his mind
Kiritsugu (Why did seeing such a thing caused me pain, hell I don't know any of them and I'm for certain I'm not the father of that homunculus child. After all, I don't remember having a child at all. But even more so why at that time when I point my contender at Caster's head I felt even more pain than I do now. When for all intents and purposes) he says mentally slightly angered but confused as unnoticed by him a single tear falls from his right cold harden eye as her stares out hoping for an answer.
However inside as Irisviel was laughing along and smiling with her daughter she briefly glances outside the balcony hoping to see Assassin there looking at them. Even though he'd thought he was hidden from her. But he wasn't there which briefly caused a sad but pained smile to fall on her face. Before it was quickly gone before her daughter or the maids even noticed. However, Berseker who was keeping a watchful eye on the new servants who are his allies now saw everything while invisible. Merely shakes his head with a frown not knowing what to do.

Other than that hopefully, the next chapter starts with me introducing a few known characters to all you guys just before the War starts. At least that's the hope anyway, as for when the next chapter comes out. I'll say once again who knows since work doesn't let go of me even when I have days off.
