Chapter XII Bakugou Vs Uraraka
"The ninth and last match of the first round!" Alexa announced the last match for the first round.
"He was kind of famous in middle school! This isn't the face of a regular person! From the hero course, it's Bakugou Katsuki! Versus-" Present Mic was cut off by Alexa.
"A girl who can float anything by the touch of her hand! From the hero course, Uraraka Ochaco! Let the ninth final match, begin!" She yelled and smirked at his sullen look.
Midoriya timidly taps Ophelia's shoulder to get her attention. Ophelia hums and glancing at Midoriya. He discreetly taps his mind as she immediately understands his intention.
"You need anything? Since you asked me secretly through the mind?" Ophelia asked curiously.
"Um... I know you have seer powers and allows you to see our future. I didn't write that part because you don't want anyone to reveal it." Midoriya rambled as Ophelia able to understand it. "What am I saying is that- did you see Uraraka-san's future?"
Ophelia pursed her lips while watching the match. "Yeah, and I can't reveal it to you." She answered while observing the match.
"This is going to be an intense match..." Aileen commented while watching the match with a grim look on her face. "That boy... he's not going to hold back."
"Especially he wanted to aim high." Gallade muttered under his breath.
Bakugou glared at the brunette girl coldly. "You're the one that makes things float, right, Round Face?" He asked coldly.
Uraraka flinches in surprise at her nickname. "Round.."
"If you're gonna withdraw, do it now." Bakugou warned the brunette. "You won't get off with just an 'ouch'"
Uraraka simply scowled and swallowing her fears to face him. She's not going back down after all the hard work she'd done.
Iida is looking at Midoriya curiously. "Midoriya-kun. What was the strategy you were going to tell Uraraka-kun earlier for her to use against Bakugou-kun?" He asked while chopping his hand in the air.
"It wasn't much really." Midoriya answered while holding his notebook. "Kacchan's strong. He has almost no openings in a real close combat fight, and the more he moves, the more he sweats, making his Explosion Quirk stronger. He can use the blast from his explosions to move around in the air, but if he touches Kacchan and uses her Quirk to make him float, then she would have the upper hand."
"It's going to be hard though..." Aileen said it out loud. "Bakugou, he's a bit like Ophie to analyze their opponent and notice their fighting skills." She squints while observing Bakugou. "His mistakes from before... he's changing it to make unpredictable.
Bakugou uses his explosive Quirk at Uraraka before she could touch him. Most of them flinch in fear and worry about Uraraka's safety. "Even though you're fighting a girl, you have no mercy, do you, Bakugou-chan?" Asui asked.
Uraraka removes her jacket to float towards Bakugou. She's going to fool him by thinking to approach him in front. Bakugou uses his Quirk and slams Uraraka hard to reveal it's only her jacket. Emerging herself out from the smoke to reveal.
"Oh, she made her jacket float and sent it over there!?" Present Mic exclaimed with a surprised look on his face.
"She's using her jacket as a decoy to fool him out!" Alexa explained calmly.
Uraraka tried to touch Bakugou but he swings his arm to push her away. Sero is surprised by his quick thinking. "He moved after he saw her?"
Kaminari gulps nervously. "With that reaction time, it doesn't matter if there's a smokescreen. With Uraraka not being able to activate her Quirk unless she touches him, she's at a disadvantage with Bakugou's reflexes."
"Ocha needs to think her the outside of the box." Ophelia commented while crossing her arms. "She needs to be creative on how to fool Bakugou."
"She needs her mind to be level-headed than being impulsive." Gallade explained.
No matter how much Uraraka tried to reach Bakugou. Bakugou keeps on swinging his arm to activate his Quirk and pushes her away. Present Mic gulps nervously. "Uraraka keeps attacking without rest, but... this is..." He pursed his lips while watching the match worriedly.
"She's planning a reckless method." Aileen finally understands Uraraka's desperation to defeat him so badly. "The remain question is... how long is she going to keep it up?"
"I don't need Lucario to sense her feelings." Meowstic said it out loud. "The fatigue is getting into her faster."
"I can't watch this..." One of the heroes gritted his teeth angrily. "Hey! How can you say you want to be a hero like that!? If there's such a huge difference in your abilities, then hurry up and send her out of bounds!"
"Stop bullying and playing with the poor girl!"
"Yeah! Yeah!"
Some heroes are criticizing Bakugou's impulsive behavior and Aileen couldn't stand it. "SHUT IN THE NAME OF GIRATINA UP!" She yelled angrily as her whole body surrounded by water.
Midoriya and the others squeal in surprise as they move back. They don't want to get hurt by her water. Her eyes glowed brighter in anger. "DO YOU GUYS ACTUALLY THINK HE'S TOYING HER AROUND UNTIL SHE'S COMPLETELY BREAK!? BAKUGOU IS TAKING HER SERIOUSLY AND ACKNOWLEDGING HER STRENGHT! HE NEVER LETS HIS GUARD DOWN BECAUSE BAKUGOU WANTED TO FIGHT IN FULL STRENGTH AND POWER!"
She breathes heavily as the water disappeared. "If you guys can't stand to watch... you might as well leave and resign yourselves as a pro hero. Better yet, choose your different career then!" Aileen yelled in a cold tone.
She hates Bakugou's guts the way he bullies Midoriya. But at the same time, she respects his skills because he's no amateur to fight against his opponents.
Ophelia giggled softly. "Hehe~ they just snapped our beloved Lee-lee." Meowstic simply chops her head lightly.
"Now is not the right time to fool around, Ophelia." Meowstic scolded her.
"They just snapped our Empress of the ocean and seas." Diantha commented with a smirk.
Professor Sycamore simply smiles with a proud look. "They shouldn't judge him harshly the way he treated her. Don't you think this also applies in real life?"
"They can't beg the villains to go easy on her." Alexa pointed out. "From what I can see... it's like Bakugou is teaching Uraraka a lesson. Her current status isn't at the level to fight against like him or any strong opponents."
"Actions speak louder than words." Diantha commented as her eyes glance in Uraraka's direction. "Bakugou is voicing out through actions. Uraraka is going to be frustrated for the loss but that girl... she's going to work hard."
"Bakugou has a weird way to teach his classmate a lesson..." Professor Sycamore smiles nervously.
"Aileen is right." Aizawa snatches the microphone from Present Mic's grasps. "Bakugou is being careful because he's acknowledged the strength of his opponent who has made it this far. It's because he's doing everything he can to win that he can't go easy on her or let his guard down."
"Those heroes are making a rookie mistake for booing Bakugou." Ophelia commented with a smirk. "Bakugou is focusing to push Ocha away and didn't notice-" Glancing at the blue-haired girl as she calms down.
"That debris he destroyed while Ocha touched it. It floats and going to release... now!" Aileen explained after watching that debris falls down like a meteor shower.
"A meteor shower!?" Present Mic exclaimed with a shocked look on his face.
"It seems like Bakugou nearly forgot his surroundings without noticing Uraraka's true plan!" Alexa yelled in surprise.
"She had a desperate plan like that up her sleeve!?" Midoriya exclaimed with a disbelief look on his face.
"Knowing him..." Crystal trailed off her thoughts and looking at Bakugou. "He's a bit surprised but he'll find a way to destroy it."
"It's a clever but suicide at the same time." Gallade commented while watching the scene unfold.
While the debris is falling down, Uraraka didn't hesitate to run and touch Bakugou using her Quirk. Bakugou is clearly focusing to destroy it using his Quirk. It causes them to explode and the force pushes her away by the explosion.
Uraraka is struggling to sit up while watching Bakugou covered in smoke. "Since you're friends with Deku, I thought you'd be up to something..." Bakugou commented darkly.
Ophelia closes her eyes and silently saying checkmate in her mind. Uraraka is on the verge to collapse in a minute by her Quirk and the bruises she receives. The blonde girl with golden eyes knows the result of the match.
"B-Bakugou delivers a satisfying explosion!" Present Mic exclaimed with a surprised look on his face. "He blasts boldly though Uraraka's secret plan!"
"Bakugou was almost caught off guard but didn't show it." Professor Sycamore explained calmly. "He used a lot of power to give itself a huge explosion. To push Uraraka away before she could touch him."
"He's almost at his limit." Aileen commented and watching Bakugou's hands are starting to get numb. She closes her eyes once Uraraka collapse before she could hit Bakugou.
"Uraraka's down!" Alexa declared.
"Ocha..." Ophelia muttered her name worriedly. She smiles sadly while looking at her hand. Sometimes she hates her seer powers to know the future before it could happen in real life.
"Uraraka's out of commission." Midnight declared. "Bakugou advances to the second round!"
Tetsutetsu and Kirishima are both awake after knocking each other out. Since they have similar Quirk, they're going to do arm wrestling. Kirishima managed to defeat Tetsutetsu and made it to the second round.
"Due to the odd numbers who made it to the second round! There is one double elimination for the next round!" Midnight declared. "The second round will face each other randomly are-"

Tokoyami Fumikage Vs Iida Tenya Vs Sycamore Aileen Luna
Kirishima Eijirou Vs Bakugou Katsuki
"Aileen is so lucky!" Scorbunny yelled in shock. There's no surprise Aileen is going to wipe them off the floor.
"It seems like I'm going to fight their friend..." Crystal looks on the sidelines to see Midoriya's surprised look. "It makes me wonder... how did he end up befriending them so quick." She narrowed her gazes at him and he flinches in surprise.
"You're getting too serious again, Crystal." Scorbunny whined and playfully whack her head. "He's not a bad guy."
Crystal smiles in defeat. "I'm sorry, Scorbunny. I hope I didn't scare him."
"I think you do, Crystal." Riko smiles nervously. "You're always overprotective of them."
"I believe so..." She chuckled softly.
Ophelia is humming while Meowstic is leading her to the waiting room.
"I can't believe I'm the first for the second match." She sighs heavily.
Meowstic simply rolls his eyes and whacks her head gently. "Stop sulking like a baby. Do you think Aileen will call one of her Pokemon to fight against them?"
"There's no doubt at all!" Ophelia answered happily and clasping her hands together. "I'm not the only one who got nagging by the Pokemon."
"Fair point." His ears twitch and stopping the blonde girl from walking.
"Hm?" She tilts her head and looking down at someone's foot. "Eh?" Looking up to see the number two flame hero right in front of them. "Endeavor?"
Endeavor stops walking and facing the girl. He covers his surprise look at the girl in front of him. This girl resembled his old rival right before in his eyes.
"I watched your fight." Endeavor breaks the silence while Ophelia blinks in surprise. "You have a wonderful Quirk. You levitate yourself and your team. You didn't take the match too seriously."
"Did I or did I not?" Ophelia asked in amusement behind her dangerous glint of the eyes.
"If we're talking about power alone, yours is comparable to Emerald's." Endeavor declared and ignoring her question.
Meowstic holds his tongue while watching between them. Ophelia, on the other hand, remains blank before sighing softly. There are few people are comparing her powers and Emerald's. An unknown hero she didn't know.
"You really are the father of the year." Ophelia commented coldly. "Shoto isn't a weapon to surpass All Might someday in the future. He's a boy who's got the potential to become a hero. Unlike you, you're hungry for greed and power for your own selfish desires."
"You insolent brat!" His flames grow big in anger.
"If there's anyone who's acting like a baby, it should be you, Endeavor." She dismissed his anger. "A hero should guide the new generation. To teach, train and help them improve their skills. I can already tell by glancing at someone who's neglecting their duty. As the father of his family and a loving husband." Ophelia didn't mention her seer powers.
"Don't you dare talk to me like that, young lady..." Endeavor growled in anger. He wasn't expecting behind her happy-go-lucky attitude, she's got spitfire in her. "You don't even know me."
"I don't." Ophelia answered bluntly as her stare turns into the stern. "You're a great hero but behind that costume. Who or what exactly are you? Two different sides to the same coin. A hero or a man."
"I had enough of you-" Endeavor couldn't take her insolent words and about to slap her face.
Someone grabs his wrist whereas Meowstic hand is covered in a black sphere. Looking at the person who grabs his hand, is no other than his half-sister, Luminous. "You're not going to harm her, Enji. I suggest to leave or else." Luminous warned him while gripping his wrist tight.
"Tomoyo." He growled and pushing Luminous out of the way. "You better watch your mouth carefully, Ambrosius."
Ophelia simply smiles and waving at the number two hero. It irked him due to the lack of her respect towards him. It terrified him a bit the way she speaks towards him. It's like this blonde girl with golden eyes knows his pasts. Endeavor walks away to control his anger.
Meowstic sighs heavily and making the shadow ball disappeared. "I can't believe you provoke him, Ophelia. I swear that mouth of yours is going to cause us trouble." He admired Ophelia's bold actions but at the same, he's worried at her reckless action.
"All he does is bark and never bites." Ophelia commented bluntly and smiling at the blonde female teacher. "Thank you for intervening..."
Luminous chuckled before she shook her head. "I'm Todoroki Tomoyo, Class 3-A Homeroom teacher. I'm also known as Knight Hero: Luminous."
"Eh? You're related to that rude guy?" Meowstic asked in a shocked tone. "You guys are completely opposite!"
"Yeah, hard to imagine... isn't it?" Luminous asked sadly and Ophelia smiles softly.
"There's no need to ask me a favor, Lum- I mean, Tomoyo-sensei." Ophelia spoke softly. She recognizes those faces who's needed their help. To save someone they care about. "The look on your face says it all. I'm going to set Todoroki-san free from his cage. He should accept the fire than neglecting it. His fire is part of him, not his father or anyone. All of us notice he's only using his ice than both or vice versa."
Luminous simply smiles in relief. "Ruby is right. You're an extraordinary girl, Ambrosius-san." She wasn't expecting this girl to analyze her that fasts. After revealing her name and the way she stops Endeavor to hit her.
Meowstic smirked proudly for being her Trainer. "She actually cares for us behind that happy-go-lucky attitude."
She giggled behind her hand. "Thank you, Ambrosius-san. Please save my nephew."
"I will!" Ophelia vowed to save Todoroki from the darkness. If Midoriya's words aren't enough to reach him out, she will.
"Thanks for waiting, everybody!" Alexa exclaimed and couldn't wait to see Ophelia's action. "The first match of the second round is a big match!"
"The man who won a huge victory in the first round and literally left the audience frozen- from the hero course, Todoroki Shoto." Present Mic mentions Todoroki's name as he's walking towards the platform.
"On the other hand, this girl is full of mystery! Finishing her match without breaking a sweat! From the hero course, Ambrosius Ophelia Fay!" Alexa announced Ophelia's name as she's walking on the platform. She and the others are surprised to see Ophelia's expression is serious.
"This match is going to be an interesting one." Aileen commented out loud while crossing her arms. "That look on her face..."
"It's different when she had with Ashido-san." Midoriya muttered under his breath. "Aileen-san... is she going to give it her all?"
"Depending on how Todoroki is going to show off." Meowstic appeared and sits right next to Gallade. "Ophelia isn't going to repeat the same tactic as Ashido battle before."
"Did something happen?" Gallade asked the Constraint Pokemon curiously.
"Yeah, and she managed to get an enemy." Meowstic sighs heavily.
"So you are here..." Todoroki breaks the silence while watching her rare serious golden eyes.
"Todoroki-san... sorry to disappoint you're facing me than Izuku." Ophelia commented but her look is still the same.
"Aileen-kun and Midoriya-kun, what do you think of this match?" Iida asked them curiously.
"Todoroki-san needs to figure out how to stop Ophelia-san from using her Quirk." Midoriya answered with a serious look on his face. "Ophelia-san can also get into our head and plague our nightmares."
"You're right, Izuku." Aileen answered. "She also improves her nightmare ability. Ophie is sly like a fox and that look... she's getting started to get serious. No time to fool around."
"At this year's sports festival, both have shown top class performances! It's like two great rivals fighting against each other! Now-" Ophelia's hand glowed purple without the eyes this time. "Ambrosius versus Todoroki! Start!" Present Mic declared. They're surprised to see her Quirk activates without eyes glowing.
Hoopa narrates: Our young heroes are made it to the second round without breaking a sweat. Ophelia makes a promise to Luminous to save Todoroki from the darkness. He's neglecting to use his fire Quirk because of his father. Will Ophelia save Todoroki from the darkness? Can she actually reach him out?
Ophelia narrates: Find out as the journey continues. *winking at the camera*
Meowstic: You're supposed to focus the fight, Ophelia! *He scratches Ophelia's face*
Ophelia: Ow! *She whimpered and holding her face*
Hoopa: *He simply laughs and turning off the screen*
