Chapter XVII Bakugou Vs Sycamore
"Thank you for your patience after fixing the stage, folks!" Alexa commented cheerfully.
"Seriously, is it really a habit to destroy the place?" Present Mic shook his head. "Now the moment we're all waiting for! He shows no mercy to anyone and has always been a hot-headed explosive boy! From the hero course- Bakugou Katsuki! Versus-"
"A female who barely shows us her moves! From the hero course- Sycamore Aileen Luna!" Alexa smirked. "Let the battle begin!"
"Die!" Bakugou attack first before Aileen could even dodge it. It causes a huge explosion and destroyed Aileen in the process.
"He killed her!" Mineta wailed in fear as everyone except Ophelia, Gallade and Meowstic were in shock.
"Not exactly." Gallade smirked. "She finally mastered it."
"Mastered what?" Uraraka asked nervously and clasping her hands together.
"There!" Meowstic pointed at the water behind Bakugou. "She just mastered turning her body into water!"
"Take this!" Aileen reverts her body before shooting him a stream of water.
"Sycamore came back from the dead!" Present Mic cheered before he gets a whack from Aizawa.
"Idiot, she turned her body into water. Sycamore knew Bakugou would attack first before she can think of a plan." Aizawa explained calmly. He's impressed how this girl can turn her whole body into water. He never sees her actual combat before. It's going to be an interesting sight to see.
Aileen breathes heavily and it's the first time she mastered it. It took her a couple of weeks to master it with the help of her Pokemon. "I can't believe I took a gamble for it." She muttered under her breath and backflips to dodge his attack.
"Oi, fishtail! Come back here and fight!" Bakugou yelled angrily while he runs to attack her.
Ophelia smiled in amusement while crossing her arms. "You know, this is an interesting match to see. Especially Bakugou can use her water as an advantage... that is- if he can realize it or not." She commented.
Todoroki raises his eyebrow at her curiously. "What makes you say that, Ambrosius?"
"Hmm..." She tilts her head and watching their battle. "You guys always notice she's always calm but short-tempered when it comes to me, right!?"
"Of course, how can we forget?" Meowstic asked sarcastically and Ophelia pouts.
"So mean." She blows a raspberry at him and he glares at her. "Anyway, if she gets way super major angry... her water will get hot!"
"Ah!" Midoriya realizes Ophelia's explanation. "Aileen-san's water is based on her emotions! If she gets angry, the water is going to be hot!"
"Yeah! If she's calm the water isn't cold or hot. Just the right temperature!" Ophelia nodded her head happily. She's pleased to know someone figures out Aileen's ability. "If she's shutting her emotions out, the water will turn itself to cold. Apart from turning herself into a mermaid."
"Can she turn her water into ice?" Uraraka asked curiously.
Gallade simply shook his head. "No, she can't. She can summon the storm or rain as the last resort." He explained calmly.
"Eh!?"
"That's why it's an interesting match!" Ophelia commented happily. "Will Bakugou be able to anger our Empress of the Ocean and Seas? Using her water as an advantage to make it a huge explosion! Find out as the bat- ow!" She whimpered and holding her bulge head.
Meowstic gritted his teeth in annoyance. "You idiot! When are you going to stop narrating Aileen's life?"
"Is the day that- I, myself, become serious all the time." She answered bluntly and yelps to use Midoriya as a shield. "Izuku, save me! My cat devil is sentencing me to death!" They see Meowstic's claws glowed while glaring at his partner.
"Wah! Ophelia-san, don't get me too involve in your fight!" Midoriya wailed while the others are sweatdropped at Ophelia's action.
Bakugou clicks his tongue in annoyance. He manages to land a few hits but only some scratches and bruises. "When are you going to stop fucking around like a coward?!"
"Who says about me being a coward?" Aileen retorted back and raising her hands forward. "Sapphire arrows!" She shoots few water arrows as Bakugou is busy dodging them.
"She's trying to push Bakugou out of the bounds." Diantha commented and watching the match. "Aileen concluded Bakugou isn't worth her time to show her full potential."
Aizawa is looking at Diantha curiously. "What makes you say that?"
"For as long as I've known them, Aileen will show her potential. If she acknowledges her opponents." She answered calmly. "Somehow, she's holding back- unlike Crystal and Ophelia."
"Could it be..." Professor Sycamore is looking at her daughter worriedly. "With Cyrus is out there... she didn't want to reveal her full power. She knows Cyrus will study them and use it."
"She's paranoid." Aizawa commented bluntly.
"It's more than that." He smiles sadly and sighs softly. "She thinks having this live event is completely ridiculous after that incident. Sure, we have other heroes to protect us. The question is remains-"
"Each Pokemon has different types." Diantha cuts Professor Sycamore with a grim look on her face. "How will they be fare against them? Granted you guys never fought against them before. Cyrus is out there and teaming up with other villains. There's no doubt in my mind he will explain about them and trying to control it. Or worse."
Two pro heroes frowned and couldn't help but agree with them. They never fought a Pokemon let alone having experience with it. They're lucky enough to have allies that have experience and knowledge about them. The people who hid their abilities in their world before they expose themselves here in this world.
Aileen jumps up into the air before water covers all over her body. "Aqua jet!" She slams her body against him and he cried out in pain.
"A direct hit!" Alexa yelled in surprise. "How will Bakugou is going to encounter it?"
Bakugou gritted his teeth and holding her waist. "Don't get too cocky, you bitch! Stop being a fucking coward and show me what you got!" He uses his explosive to hurt her waist.
"Gah!" Aileen cried out in pain and releasing Bakugou. She's hugging her waist by the pain and struggling to move her body.
"Die!"
Aileen's eyes glowed before she grabs his wrist and kicking the stomach. "Who says I'm being cocky!? I'm just getting started!" She yelled and blast him off by a stream of water.
Gallade narrowed his red eyes towards Aileen worriedly. "Aileen..." He muttered her name.
Pikachu comforted the blade Pokemon. "Aileen is strong and I'm sure she can beat Bakugou!" He assured him.
"Sometimes I couldn't help it..." He smiles softly and clenching his hands tight. "I know she wanted to get stronger and protect herself."
"It's also our job as their partner to help and guide them the path they believe in." Meowstic pointed out while crossing his arms. "You should be proud of how she has come this far." He smiles softly before discreetly glancing at Ophelia.
"Wow, Meowstic." Ophelia's eyes twinkle in a daze. "I didn't know you can be in a sage mode sometimes."
Whack!
"Ow!"
The constraint Pokemon sighs tiredly. "Heavenly Arceus, why do I have an unfortunate idiot Trainer?" He asks tiredly.
Aileen sighs in annoyance before removing her top to reveal a plain black t-shirt. "It's time to get serious." Her eyes glowed as the sky suddenly turned dark.
"What's this!? Where is the sunshine!? The weather didn't say anything about raining!" Present Mic and the others gape in surprise.
Crystal's emerald eyes widened before blinking. "She's going to end the match quickly. She finally acknowledges Bakugou as one of her rivals!"
Riko glances at her before watching the match. She hums while observing them. The black-haired girl with hazel eyes wanted to see their potentials. Her true intentions if they manage to pass her expectations or fail. She's going to reveal her true intentions when the time comes.
"She's going to go full at him." Alexa commented with a smirk on her face. "It seems like Bakugou managed to pissed her off if she summons the storm."
Ophelia laughs nervously and scratching her head. "Let's pray she won't wash us?"
Meowstic scoffs before giving her a look. "She can control it, unlike you-"
"You get carried away." Gallade commented bluntly and she pouts in response.
"So mean!" Ophelia whined before she shook her head. "I wonder what he'll do next? The moment Lee-lee summon the storm. After all, she rarely uses it for healing or something else..."
"Eh? What do you mean, Ophelia-san?" Ojiro asked curiously.
"Summoning the storm means it's going to boost up her Quirk." Gallade answered calmly. "Aileen rarely uses it because she didn't want to use it unless it's raining or surrounded by water."
"Bakugou is already screwed up." Ophelia smirked darkly. "He actually wished to give it her all. His wish is coming true."
"The question remains if he's able to defeat her and that pride will be his downfall." Crystal commented with a serious look on her face. "Summoning the storms means she has a huge advantage over his."
"Kick his butt, Aileen!" Scorbunny cheered for his friend.
"Why does she needs to summon the storm for, Crystal-san?" Tetsutetsu asked her curiously.
Crystal merely smiles and hugs Scorbunny close to her. "Summoning the storm is going to boost both offensive and defensive attacks. That also includes being surrounded by water without summoning it."
"That boy is screwed up now!" Scorbunny exclaimed and shook his head. "Show 'em what you got!"
Bakugou smirked darkly and waiting for the right opportunity. To see her full potential than toying him. He wanted to beat Aileen ever since she showed her powers during the USJR incident. He's not a fool to think this girl is weak despite her weakness against vehicle transportation. "Finally, I'd enough of your stupidity." He planned to surpass this girl in front of him including the others like Gallade, Ophelia, Crystal, Midoriya and Todoroki.
Aileen glares at Bakugou coldly. She's not letting her emotions clouded her mind, especially the ash-blond who's pushing her buttons.
"You asked for this Bakugou." She spoke coldly as her eyes glowed. "I'll end this fight quick. You should be careful what you wish for!" Raising her right hand up to gather the water around her.
"She's going to use it!" Ophelia exclaimed with a disbelief look on her face. "Everyone brace yourselves! Hoopa, help me out!" The whole class 1-A are confused why she's panicking.
"Aye!" Hoopa agreed and getting himself ready.
"Why are we bracing ourselves for!?" Kaminari asked Ophelia curiously.
"She's going to use her special move!" Gallade answered and gulps nervously. "A move whether Bakugou can withstand it or not!"
Professor Sycamore gulps and laughs nervously. "I hope she didn't wash everyone away." He commented nervously and pulling his collar.
Aizawa is looking at the professor curiously. "What's the purpose of her summoning the storm?"
"To boost up her power whether she's surrounded by water, storm or not. Aileen will use this at the advantage to call her special offensive, defensive and supportive attack." Diantha answered with a soft smile.
"That's more like it!" Bakugou yelled while grinning darkly. "You finally show your true colors than hiding your pets back!"
"You scoundrel..." Aileen glares at him coldly. She can take any insults as much as they want. However, when someone dares to insult her Pokemon, there will be a hell to pay. "I can take any insults but..." Her eyes glowed brighter in anger. "Calling them pets is pissing me off!" She gathers the water all over the area.
Ophelia screams in shock and covering her mouth. "Lee-lee is angry! Gathering the water means-"
"She's going to bring the big gun!" Gallade exclaimed and feels sorry for Bakugou. If he happens to be the next one of Aileen's victims.
Midoriya gulps nervously to hear their exaggerating and the look of their faces. They never lied and knows Aileen in their whole lives. "Ho-how mu-much of a big gun that is?" He asked nervously.
"Depending on how much Bakugou can stand her attacks." Ophelia answered truthfully while crossing her arms. "We've trained each other before- even myself can't handle her hidden talent. Hence the reason why she'd preferred to heal than fight."
Uraraka clasps her hands together while watching the match. She's impressed how Aileen would go this far to fight against Bakugou without summoning her Pokemon. "Please win, Ai-chan."
"What the-!" Bakugou's body is tied up by huge water tentacles. "You fucking bitch! I'm gonna kill you!" He growled and trying to escape from its grasps.
"Hear me, O, great Kyogre." Aileen whispered as he managed to hear it. "Lend me your power and strength as I vowed to used it in greatness." The water turned glowed with brilliant blue. Her whole body is covered with Kyogre's red mark as she used her hidden powers. "You want me to show my real skills, Bakugou? Take this! Origin pulse!" She throws her arms forward as the countless beams of light that glow deep and brilliant blue hit Bakugou.
It causes a huge explosion and strong wind that nearly blows everyone out of the stadium. Hoopa, Ophelia, Meowstic and Gallade are creating a huge forcefield to protect everyone from Aileen's special attack.
"She never holds back at all!" Ophelia exclaimed while increasing her powers to protect them. "Lee-lee complains about us to dial down our attacks. But, no! Instead, she wanted to do it-"
"Stop complaining, Ophelia!" Meowstic scolded his partner. "Just focus on the task!"
"Ama-amazing." Midoriya is completely awestruck at Aileen's power. "She's holding back all this time. Aileen-san wants to become a doctor because she wanted to save them and it's rare to have people who have healing Quirk!"
"Seriously, this smoking is really annoying." Present Mic whined and Alexa shook her head.
"The smoke is slowly clearing out of the way! Midnight, what's the news over there!?" She asked the R-18 hero.
Midnight coughs and managed to duck by Aileen's powerful attack. She waves her hand as the smoke disappears. Bakugou is unconscious and beaten up badly by Aileen's attack. Aileen, on the other hand, she's completely unhurt apart from bruising on her waist.
"Bakugou-kun is out of the commission! Sycamore-chan advances to the final round!" Midnight declared and everyone roared.
"Did you see that!?"
"That girl is clearly strong!"
"Why did she hide her Quirk!?"
"She managed to defeat him!"
"I can't believe the U.A has strong powerful heroes-in-training!"
Professor Sycamore is looking at Aileen with a grim look on his face. He couldn't believe his two daughters are getting stronger and risking themselves to save the Pokemon. There's part of him to hide them away from danger and stop their dangerous mission. Another part of him couldn't be a selfish father to hide their destiny, especially his youngest daughter. Between Clara and Aileen, Aileen carries the heavy burden more than Clara.
Aileen sighs heavily while clasping her hands together. It's been a while she uses 10% of Kyogre's power. A few years ago she saved Kyogre from the hands of Team Aqua by taking the blue orb. There's a small price to pay after taking the blue orb away from their grasps. The blue orb fused inside of her body and summons Kyogre without her consent. She wouldn't forget the pain she'd been through until Gallade saves her life.
"Thinking about Kyogre, Groudon and Rayquaza incident? That nearly cause to destroy the entire Hoenn?" Snapping out her thoughts and stares in front of the blade Pokemon. "You know that's all in the past right?"
"I know." She smiles tiredly at her partner. "They're not the only weather trio in the Hoeen right? We have the titans and eon twins."
"Yeah, them too." Gallade smiles softly before he holds her hands. "How are you feeling?"
"I swore to myself that I shouldn't..." Aileen bites her lower lips before sighing. "Compromise my feelings during the event. But he-"
"Insult us and took it hardly." Gallade cuts her off with an understanding look on his face. "I've known you for a long time, Aileen. I can read you like an open book no matter where we are."
Aileen remained silent and looking at the table. "Yet... I manage to use it without thinking."
"Kyogre bless you his powers because he saw your potential, Aileen." Gallade explained calmly. "That's why you're able to transform to become a female human Kyogre. He knew you wouldn't abuse that power. Besides, Bakugou had it coming for annoying you out."
Aileen smiles softly and squeezing his hand. "Thanks, Gallade."
"You're always welcome, Aileen." He smiles softly. "So- are you ready to face Ophelia?"
"A match between your friend and rival?" She smiles with a determined look on her face. "It's been a while we haven't battle each other."
"This time it's going to be a what? Tag team battle or solo?"
"Tag team and I know someone who can help me out." She smiles.
Professor Sycamore narrates: Aileen managed to defeat Katsuki by using Kyogre's power. She made it to the finals to face Ophelia for the tournament.
Ophelia: Wah! That battle is so intense and nearly blows us out!
Meowstic: *He rolls his eyes* Stop being overdramatic Ophelia!
Gallade: Ahem! I think you guys are losing the plot here.
Ophelia: Ahaha *laughing nervously* Sorry about that! Ahem! What does Professor Sycamore mean Aileen carries more burden than Clara?
Meowstic: Do you think Professor Sycamore is hiding a dark secret from his youngest daughter?
Gallade: The next chapter in the battle of friend rivals! Who is going to be determined to win the U.A Sports Festival?
Professor Sycamore: While thinking for the next chapter... what is Riko's true intention to Aileen, Ophelia and Crystal?

Riko walks out of the bystander and accepts the call. "Yes, those three exceed my expectations." She commented calmly. "They're pure without malicious."
"I'm relieved to hear that, Riko." The caller sighs in relief. "So... what happens now?"
"I'll wait until it comes." She answered and squeeze her necklace. "Why are you calling me while the event is still going?"
"Yeah... about that." The caller sighs heavily. "Tensei's life is in critical condition and he's still in the operating room as we speak."
"What?" She asked with a disbelief look on her face. "Is that the reason why Tenya left early? What happened to him?"
"Tensei was on a case to take down the hero killer name Stain." The caller explained calmly while Riko listens. "He was on the dark alley and found him. However, Stain nearly ends his life if it wasn't for Absol. Absol saved him before Stain could finish him off."
Riko sighs in relief and clenching her necklace tight. "Thank goodness. I should ask Kan-sensei that I need to leave immediately. Tenya needs me."
"Please." The caller sighs softly. "I'll update you more."
"Thanks, Ri." Riko thanked the caller before hanging up. "Tenya..." She flies off to seek her homeroom teacher immediately.
