The next morning, Ash & Mallow reported to Mr. Goodshow about what Mandi said about her & the others, he was not happy. After Mandi went to Mr. Goodshow's office.
"Mandi, I'm very disappointed in you." Goodshow said disappointedly "How could you say those things to these people."
"Mr. Goodshow, are you seriously defending these outsiders?" Mandi said in disbelief
"Of course I am! Having people from other regions visit here is a great honor." Goodshow said "Honestly, what do you have against people & Pokémon from other regions?"
"It's because they're not from here." Mandi said
"So? What's wrong with that? Are you some kind of regionist? Ash is right, you do have a bad taste in judgement." Goodshow said "& for that, I won't let this go unpunished."
"What!?" Mandi exclaimed shockingly
"As punishment, you are banned from all leagues & banned from participating in battles indefinitely." Mr. Goodshow said "Also I'm suspending your Pokémon Trainer license & taking away the Pokémon you currently have with you on your team."
"But Mr. Goodshow—" Mandi said
"No! Until you learn to love all people & Pokémon equally, you've lost your Pokémon Trainer privileges." Goodshow said "Now, apologize to these people at once!"
"I'm sorry…" Mandi said in shame
"Good, now put your Poké Balls on my desk & leave." Mr. Goodshow demanded
Mandi put his 6 Poké Balls on Goodshow's desk & left without a word
"I'm so sorry about Mandi everyone." Goodshow apologized "I assure you it won't happen again. I hope this doesn't put a bad image on the Kanto Region."
"Don't worry, Goodshow, it won't." Mallow smiled
"Just to make it up to you, I'm gonna give each of you one of Mandi's Pokémon." Goodshow said "Now, let's see what Mandi has."
Goodshow picked up the Poké Balls & sent out the Pokémon from them which was Exeggutor, Seadra, Golbat, Magmar, Magneton, & Clefairy. Mallow took Exeggutor, Lana took Seadra, Kiawe took Magmar, Sophocles took Magneton, Lillie took Clefairy, & Ash took Golbat

When the gang went back to the park, they saw Misty, Brock, Jessie, James, Lusamine & Gladion.
"Hey guys, did Goodshow take care of Mandi." Lusamine said
"He did, & he gave us Mandi's Pokémon, I got his Clefairy." Lillie said
"Oh, that's splendid." Lusamine smiled
"Hey Jessie, James, I've been wanting to ask you what Pokémon you two have with you." Brock said
Jessie & James each out 6 Pokémon they hadn't seen before
"Wow, who're those Pokémon?" Ash said as he pulled out his Pokédex
Blissey, the Happiness Pokémon, & the evolved form of Chansey. Blissey senses sadness with its fluffy coat of fur. If it does so, this Pokémon will rush over to a sad person, no matter how far away, to share a Lucky Egg that brings a smile to any face.
Dustox, the Poison Moth Pokémon, When Dustox flaps its wings, a fine dust is scattered all over. This dust is actually a powerful poison that will even make a pro wrestler sick. This Pokémon searches for food using its antennae like radar.
Woobat, the Bat Pokémon, Its habitat is dark forests and caves. It emits ultrasonic waves from its nose to learn about its surroundings. The heart-shaped mark left on a body after a Woobat has been attached to it is said to bring good fortune.
Wobbuffet, the Patient Pokémon, & the evolved form of Wynaut. Wobbuffet does nothing but endure attacks—it won't attack on its own. However, it won't endure an attack on its tail. When that happens, the Pokémon will try to take the foe with it using Destiny Bond.
Beautifly, the Butterfly Pokémon, Beautifly has a long mouth like a coiled needle, which is very convenient for collecting pollen from flowers. This Pokémon rides the spring winds as it flits around gathering pollen.
Yanma, the Clear Wing Pokémon, Yanma is capable of seeing 360 degrees without having to move its eyes. It is a great flier that is adept at making sudden stops and turning midair. This Pokémon uses its flying ability to quickly chase down targeted prey.
Inkay, the Revolving Pokémon, It flashes the light-emitting spots on its body, which drains its opponent's will to fight. It takes the opportunity to scuttle away and hide.
Chimecho, the Wind Chime Pokémon, & the evolved form of Chingling. Chimecho makes its cries echo inside its hollow body. When this Pokémon becomes enraged, its cries result in ultrasonic waves that have the power to knock foes flying.
Carnivine, the Bug Catcher Pokémon, It attracts prey with its sweet-smelling saliva, then chomps down. It takes a whole day to eat prey.
Cacnea, the Cactus Pokémon, Cacnea lives in arid locations such as deserts. It releases a strong aroma from its flower to attract prey. When prey comes near, this Pokémon shoots sharp thorns from its body to bring the victim down.
Mareanie, the Brutal Star Pokémon, It plunges the poison spike on its head into its prey. When the prey has weakened, Mareanie deals the finishing blow with its 10 tentacles.
Yamask, the Spirit Pokémon, It wanders through ruins by night, carrying a mask that's said to have been the face it had when it was still human. These Pokémon arose from the spirits of people interred in graves. Each retains memories of its former life.
"Wow, those are amazing Pokémon." Ash said
"Blissey happens to be an old friend of mine when I attended Pokémon Nurse School." Jessie said
"& I caught Carnivine in the Great Marsh when I was a boy." James said "We also have more in our PCs. I have a Mime Jr who I got from my grandparents, a Bellsprout, a Dragonair, an Ivysaur, a Koffing, & Growlie who is my Growlithe."
"& I have a Lickitung, a Smoochum, a Gyarados, an Ekans, & a Shiny Dragonair." Jessie said
"That's great, do you still have Arbok, Weezing, Squirtle, & Charmander?" Brock asked
"We do & Charmander & Squirtle evolved into Wartortle & Charmeleon." James said
"Hey, maybe we can have Jessie's Lickitung learn Rollout to evolve into Lickilicky." Ash said
"Sounds like a great idea." Jessie said
"Hey James, did you manage to stand up to your parents?" Misty asked
"I did, after I told them I was working for Team Rocket, they were upset." James said

"James, I can't believe you joined a terrible organization such as Team Rocket." Harrison said disappointedly
"& who's fault is that?" James argued
"Who's fault is that?" Harrison said confusingly
"The reason why I joined Team Rocket is because you two were never my parents to begin with." James said
"How can you—?" Ivanna said shockingly
"No! I've been holding these feelings inside for too long, so shut up & pay attention!" James shouted
"…" James' parents stood in silence
"You two never properly raised me, you always forced me into things I didn't care about at all while he was growing up & you do what YOU think is best for me & it's selfish. Don't you two realize that once I marry Jessiebelle, I'm gonna have to release Growlie & replace him with Skitty, but you two choose to ignore that. At least, Nanny & Pop Pop are like real parents to me & sometimes I wished I was raised by them instead of you!" James said as he left with Growlie leaving his "Parents" with shocked looks
"Wait…James, sweetie…wait!" Ivanna called out desperately as James slammed to door
Ivanna fell to her knees & cried & Harrison was looking down in shame as they both had one thought

"So what happened next?" Ash asked
"A few days later, they called me & said that they called off the marriage." James said

"What do you mean the marriage is off!?" Jessebelle said in outrage
"You heard us, our son doesn't wish to marry you ever, so we're calling it off." Harrison said
"Do you two realize what you're giving up?" Jessebelle said
"Yes, but we know what we're keeping, our son's happiness comes first." Ivanna said
"Fine, but you two are gonna regret this." Jessebelle said angrily as she left in a huff

"I guess they really came to their senses." Mallow said
"Excuse me." A voice said
Everyone looked & saw a middle-aged couple & a teenage girl.
"Who are you?" Ash asked
"I'm Robert, this is my wife Rhonda & my daughter Rochelle." The man said "We're Ricky's family."
"What?" Ash said surprisingly
Suddenly Ursaring came out his Great Ball
"Urrr." Ursaring growled as he lifted Robert up by his neck
"Dad!" Rochelle said worriedly
"Ursaring, no, put him down." Ash said
"Urrr." Ursaring growled as he put Robert down
"I'm sorry about that, but Ursaring used to be Ricky's Pokémon & was abused by him." Ash said
"He was, was he?" Rhonda said as she sighed "Why am I not surprised by that."
"Of course he would continue to abuse his Pokémon." Robert said as he shook his head in disappointment
"Listen, I know how Ricky became a Pokémon Hunter, but how did Rico become a Pokémon Hunter?" Ash asked
"We caught him abusing Pokémon numerous times & we banned him from becoming a Pokémon Trainer, which caused him to run away from home." Robert said "We tried reprimanding him, but he wouldn't listen to us."
"We mostly blame ourselves for not doing our best to make him & Ricky into a good person." Rhonda said as she sighed sadly "Sometimes we wonder where we went wrong."
"Hey Rochelle, you're not like Rico & Ricky, are you?" Mallow asked
"Of course not, I would never treat my Pokémon like that unlike those two idiot brothers of mine." Rochelle said "Mom & Dad made sure of that."
"Well, that's a good thing." Brock said
"Ash, we know what happened to Ricky." Robert said "But do you know what happened to Rico?"
"Yes, he got sucked into Gardevoir's black hole." Ash said
"I see." Robert said
"So, what are you all doing here?" Ash asked
"We came here to thank you for stopping them." Rochelle said "We also wanted to give you these Pokémon as a token of our gratitude."
They sent out 20 Pokémon they haven't seen before & Ash pulled out his Pokédex
Pumpkaboo, the Pumpkin Pokémon, The pumpkin body is inhabited by a spirit trapped in this world. As the sun sets, it becomes restless and active. Two are is Small Size, Two are Average Size, Two are Large Size, & two are Super Size & Shiny
Gourgeist, the Pumpkin Pokémon, & the evolved form of Pumpkaboo. Singing in eerie voices, they wander town streets on the night of the new moon. Anyone who hears their song is cursed. Two are is Small Size, Two are Average Size, Two are Large Size, & two are Super Size & Shiny
Phantump, the Stump Pokémon, These Pokémon are created when spirits possess rotten tree stumps. They prefer to live in abandoned forests. One Phantump is Shiny
Trevenant, the Elder Tree Pokémon, & the evolved form of Phantump. Using its roots as a nervous system, it controls the trees in the forest. It's kind to the Pokémon that reside in its body. One Trevenant is Shiny
"Another reason why we're giving you these Pokémon, is because we knew you're your Father & Uncle Mohn." Robert said
"You knew our dad?" Gladion said surprisingly
"Yes, they were very kind people who talk highly of their wives & children." Rhonda said
"& We know that you are a kind trainer just like your father, Ash." Robert said
"Thank you." Ash said
"& Ursaring, we're sorry about what Ricky did to you, we never raised him to be like that." Robert apologized
"Hm." Ursaring scoffed as he looked away
"Ursaring return." Ash said as he returned Ursaring "Sorry, but I'm afraid Ursaring still doesn't trust you."
"Well, we don't blame him after what Ricky did." Rochelle said
So Ash took the 4 different sized Pumpkaboos & Gourgeists, the Shiny Phantump & Regular Trevenant & Mallow took the other 4 different sized Pumpkaboos & Gourgeists, the Regular Phantump & the Shiny Trevenant.

"Boun?/Meow?/Pika?" The Pokémon said as they sensed something & ran off
"Hey." Ash called out
"Where are you going?" Mallow said as she & Ash followed them
They followed them to a small area where they found a Pikachu with a notched tail, two black crow-like Pokémon with red eyes & yellow beaks & feet, & a dark purple bipedal Pokémon with pale blue gemstone-like eyes. Ash pulled out his Pokédex
Murkrow, the Darkness Pokémon, Murkrow was feared and loathed as the alleged bearer of ill fortune. This Pokémon shows strong interest in anything that sparkles or glitters. It will even try to steal rings from women.
Sableye, the Darkness Pokémon, Sableye lead quiet lives deep inside caverns. They are feared, however, because these Pokémon are thought to steal the spirits of people when their eyes burn with a sinister glow in the darkness.
"They all look upset for some reason." Mallow said
Ash sent out his Meowth
"Hey, you four, what's wrong?" Ash asked
"Murkrow." The first Murkrow said
"Sableye." Sableye said
"They said they have been abandoned by their trainer." Meowth translated
"That's awful." Mallow said
"Hmm, why don't you guys join us on our sky date, I'm sure you will have lots of fun." Ash offered
"Murkrow/Pika/Sableye." The Pokémon said
"Great, Moltres, I choose you!" Ash said as he sent out Moltres
"Molt." Moltres cawed
"Hey Moltres, can you give us a ride?" Ash said
"Molt." Moltres nodded
Ash, Mallow, & the abandoned Pokémon rode on Moltres' back
"This is so much fun." Mallow said
"I know." Ash said
"Molt?" Moltres said as it sensed something & turned the other direction
When they landed
"Why'd you stop Moltres?" Ash asked
"Molt Molt." Moltres said
"Moltres said it sensed something in trouble." Meowth translated
They went into a forest to an area where they found a large injured blue bird Pokémon with a crest on its forehead which consists of three, darker blue rhombus-shaped feathers.
"It's another one of the Legendary Bird Pokémon, Articuno."
"Articuno?" Ash said as he pulled out his Pokédex
Articuno, the Freeze Pokémon, Articuno is a legendary bird Pokémon that can control ice. The flapping of its wings chills the air. As a result, it is said that when this Pokémon flies, snow will fall.
"Molt." Moltres said as it went by Articuno's side
"Cuno." Articuno said as it looked at Moltres
"Is Articuno your friend, Moltres?" Ash asked
"Molt." Moltres nodded
"Ash, look." Mallow said as she lifted up Articuno's wing revealing two injured small white hedgehog-like Pokémon with green grass-like fur
"What are they?" Ash asked
"They're Shaymin." Mallow said
Shaymin, the Gratitude Pokémon, The blooming of Gracidea flowers confers the power of flight upon it. Feelings of gratitude are the message it delivers. It can dissolve toxins in the air to instantly transform ruined land into a lush field of flowers.
"Celestia, I choose you!" Ash said as he sent out his Galarian form Rapidash named Celestia
"Daaaash." Celestia whinnied
"Use Heal Pulse." Ash said
Celestia pointed the tip of her horn towards Shaymin & Articuno. She became surrounded in pink aura & released a pink pulse from her her & healed them
"Articuno, Shaymin, what happened?" Ash asked
"Shaymin Shay Shay." The first Shaymin said
"It said it was attacked by people in black uniforms with Rs on their shirts." Meowth translated
"That must be Team Rocket." Ash said "Can you lead us to them?"
Articuno & the two Shaymin led Ash & Mallow to an area where a big cage was, in the cage were three beast-like Pokémon.
"It's the Legendary Beasts, Entei, Suicune, & Raikou." Mallow said as Ash pulled out his Pokédex
Entei, the Volcano Pokémon, Entei embodies the passion of magma. This Pokémon is thought to have been born in the eruption of a volcano. It sends up massive bursts of fire that utterly consume all that they touch.
Suicune, the Aurora Pokémon, Suicune embodies the compassion of a pure spring of water. It runs across the land with gracefulness. This Pokémon has the power to purify dirty water.
Raikou, the Thunder Pokémon, Raikou embodies the speed of lightning. The roars of this Pokémon send shock waves shuddering through the air and shake the ground as if lightning bolts had come crashing down.
"Well, look who it is." A voice said
Ash & Mallow looked & saw two familiar faces
"It's Cassidy & Butch." Meowth said
"Hey Meowth, we heard you & those other two quit Team Rocket, is that true?" Cassidy said
"Yeah, what's it to ya?" Meowth glared
"Do you know these two, Meowth?" Mallow asked
"They were Jessie & James' rivals back when we worked for Team Rocket." Meowth said as he looked back at Cassidy & Butch "How did you two manage to catch the Beast trio?"
"Well, we won't say it was easy, but with some of Team Rocket gadgets, we somehow managed." Butch shrugged "Now, if you don't mind we like to have the Articuno & Shaymin back."
"We'll also be taking that Moltres as well." Cassidy said
"Not if I can handle it." Ash said
"Hm, so be it. Go Granbull!" Cassidy said as she sent out a purple bulldog-like Pokémon
"Granbull." The Pokémon said
"Shuckle, go!" Butch said as he sent out a small turtle-like Pokémon with a yellow body & a red & white shell
"Shuckle." Shuckle said as Ash pulled out his Pokédex
Granbull, the Fairy Pokémon, Granbull has a particularly well-developed lower jaw. The enormous fangs are heavy, causing the Pokémon to tip its head back for balance. Unless it is startled, it will not try to bite indiscriminately.
Shuckle, the Mold Pokémon, Shuckle quietly hides itself under rocks, keeping its body concealed inside its hard shell while eating berries it has stored away. The berries mix with its body fluids to become a juice.
"Silvally, I choose you!" Ash said as he sent out Silvally
"Arrr!" Silvally said
"Alright, Granbull's a Fairy Type while Shuckle is a Bug & Rock Type, so there's one type both of them are weak against." Ash thought "Go Steel Memory!"
Ash threw the Steel Memory into Silvally's RKS System & Silvally turned into a Steel Type
"Now Silvally, Multi-Attack." Ash said. Silvally became covered in gray-colored aura & hit Granbull & Shuckle with its claws which caused both of them to faint.
"What!?" Cassidy said shockingly
"It's over already!?" Butch said shockingly
"Alright, Pikachu, Meowzie, Silvally, Thunderbolt." Ash said
"CHUUUU!/MEOOOW/ARRRRR!" The Pokémon yelled as they fired bolts of yellow electricity & sent Team Rocket blasting off
"Not that they're taken care of, let's get them out of there." Ash said
Ash had Silvally break the cage & free the Legendary Beasts
"You're free to go, you three." Ash said
The Legendary Beasts walked up to Ash & bowed to him.
"You're welcome." Ash said
Then the Legendary Beasts stood up & walked closer to him
"What's wrong?" Ash said as the first Shaymin nuzzled his leg & the Murkrow flew on his shoulders
"I think they wanna come with us, Ash." Mallow said
"Are you sure?" Ash asked
Suicune blew icy mist in Ash's face
"Brrr, Okay, you guys can come." Ash laughed
After Ash caught the Legendary Beasts, Articuno, the first Shaymin, & the abandoned Pokémon, Mallow caught the second Shaymin
