Gary Oak
Ash & Mallow were on a date, but unbeknownst to them, Gary was watching them
"Hm." Gary said as he left in a huff "I can't believe that loser got a girlfriend before me."
He walked until he saw Brock & Misty with Ash's cousins, aunt, & other friends
"Hey, who are those people Brock & Misty are with?" Gary thought as he approached them
"Hm?" Brock said as he noticed "What do you want, Gary?"
"Who are these people?" Gary asked
"If you want to know who we are, I'm Lillie & this is my brother Gladion, my mom Lusamine, & our friends Kiawe, Sophocles, & Lana. We're Ash's cousins, aunt, & other friends." Lillie said
"Cousin, Huh?" Gary smirked "You're a cute one, how would you like to go on a date with me?"
"Sorry, but I'm not interested." Lillie rejected harshly
"Oh come on." Gary said as he moved his hand to place on her shoulder before Gladion grabbed Gary's hand
"She said she's not interested." Gladion glared "If I didn't know any better, I say you're trying to go out with my sister just to get back at Ash."
"That must be it & I will not allow someone like you to date my daughter, I forbid it!" Lusamine said sternly
"Alright alright, I'll take a hint." Gary said nervously
"Good." Gladion said as he let go
Gary turned to Lana, Sophocles, & Kiawe
"So, you guys are Ash's friends, Huh?" Gary assumed
"Yeah, is there a problem?" Sophocles said
"Why are you friends with a loser like him, you should be friends with a cool popular guy like me." Gary said
"Well, you're one to talk to." Kiawe said
"What did you say?" Gary said as he gained a tick mark
"With an attitude like that, I doubt you have any true friends." Kiawe said
"The reason why we're friends with Ash is because of who he is & not what he is." Lana said
"Yeah, & being the grandson of Professor Oak is nothing more than a dumb excuse to be your friend." Sophocles said
"Do us a favor & get lost, scumbag." Gladion said
"Fine." Gary said angrily as he left in a huff
He was walking in a grassy area with some bushes until he saw Ash's Pikachu, Meowzie, Meowth, one of his Murkrow, Magby, Smoochum, Pichu, Ursaring, Entei, Articuno, Raikou, Suicune, Silvally, Rattata, & Raticate & Mallow's Bounsweet, Bulbasaur, Gloom, Shaymin, Buneary, & Flabébé. Gary was shocked when he saw the legendary Pokémon Articuno
"Alright Murkrow, if you wanna learn how to talk like a human, we have to go through the alphabet first before the next step." Meowth said "Ready?"
"Krow." Murkrow nodded
"Okay, A." Meowth said
"Mmm…A" Murkrow repeated

"Very good." Meowth smiled before noticing Smoochum having some trouble learning Ice Beam "Wait a minute, Smoochum"
"Smooch?" Smoochum said
"In order for you to learn Ice Beam, you have to focus the ice energy in your lips & let it out." Meowth instructed
"Smooch." Smoochum nodded as she did what Meowth instructed & fired light blue beams of ice & hit a bush
"Excellent." Meowth said as he went to Magby "Magby, in order for you to learn Flamethrower, you have to inhale, focus the fire power in your stomach, & let it out."
"Mag." Magby nodded he did what Meowth instructed & shot fire from his mouth & hit a rock
"Wonderful." Meowth said as he went to Pichu "How's that endurance after using Electric Type moves going, Pichu?"
"Pi CHUUUUU!" Pichu said as he released a shock of electricity before he stopped & heavily panted "Pi…Pi…"
"You're making good progress, keep practicing with Pikachu." Meowth said as he pat Pichu's head
"Pichu" Pichu smiled
"Hey." Gary said as he approached them
"Hm? May we help you?" Meowth asked
"You're that Meowth from Team Rocket." Gary said
"For your information, I'm not working for Team Rocket anymore & neither is Jessie & James." Meowth said
"What's a Legendary Pokémon like Articuno doing here with you & what are these Pokémon?" Gary asked in a demanding tone "I don't remember seeing them in the picture of Ash's Pokémon
"This is Entei, Raikou, Suicune, & Murkrow, they're Ash's newly caught Pokémon along. Entei, Raikou, & Suicune are Legendary Pokémon as well." Meowth said "Ash caught them along with Articuno & 16 other Pokémon as well."
"What? But how?" Gary said shockingly
"Ash saved them from a couple of members of Team Rocket." Meowth said
"But there's 15 of you, I thought Trainers are allowed to carry 6 Pokémon with them." Gary said
"Professor Oak updated Ash's Pokédex so he can carry up to 15 Pokémon" Meowth said
"Do you honestly think you have what it takes? I bet this tiny pathetic rat wouldn't even last a second after using an Electric attack." Gary said angrily as he pointed at Pichu
"Pi!" Pichu gasped in hurt before crying "Pichu! Pichu!"
"Pika/Bun." Pikachu & Buneary said worriedly as they went up to Pichu & comforted him
"Ur!" Ursaring shouted angrily as he grabbed Gary by the neck
"Wait a minute!" Gary choked before Ursaring punched him which caused Gary to stumble back into a rock
"UUURRRRRR!" Ursaring roared as he punched the rock behind Gary creating spider cracks
"Wait please, let me go, I'll do anything." Gary said fearfully
"Urrr." Ursaring growled
"Ursaring." A voice said
Everyone looked & saw Jessie & James
"Hey guys." Meowth said
"Meowth, what on earth is going on here, why is Ursaring attacking Gary?" James asked
"It wasn't Ursaring's fault, that jerk started it by insulting Pichu & making him cry." Meowth explained
"Is this true, Gary?" James asked with a slight glare
"Y-yes." Gary stuttered
"Now why would you stoop that low, you should know better than to insult a baby Pokémon. You better apologize to Pichu right now." Jessie demanded
"But—" Gary said
"I said NOW!" Jessie growled as she pulled Gary's ear
"Ow! Ow! Okay! Okay!" Gary yelled in pain
When Jessie led Gary to Pichu
"Pichu, I'm sorry for calling you that." Gary apologize
Pichu said nothing as he gave Gary a glare
"PI CHUUUUUUU!" Pichu said as he fired a bolt yellow electricity & shocked Gary
"AAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Gary screamed
When Pichu stopped Meowth noticed he didn't faint or heavily pant
"Hey, you didn't wear yourself out this time." Meowth said "Way to go, Pichu
"Pichu." Pichu said happily
"Gary, don't you have to train for your next match?" Jessie said
"Yes, cause right now you're wasting your time." James said
"If we were you, we get started right away." Meowth said
Gary said nothing as he stood up & walked away. He walked through the forest until he heard whimpering, he went to the source of the sound & found a black & red dog-like Pokémon with an injured leg
"What is this?" Gary said as he pulled out his Pokédex
Houndour, the Dark Pokémon, Houndour hunt as a coordinated pack. They communicate with each other using a variety of cries to corner their prey. This Pokémon's remarkable teamwork is unparalleled.
"I better take you to the Pokémon Center." Gary said as he picked up Houndour
A little bit after Gary took Houndour to the Pokémon Center.
"Houndour, is feeling good as new." Joy said
"Houn." Houndour barked as he jumped in Gary's arms & licked his cheek
"Hey, stop that." Gary laughed
After they exit the Pokémon Center
"I'm glad you're feeling better, Houndour." Gary said
"Houn." Houndour barked
"Take better care of yourself, okay?" Gary said as he left to go train for his match, but then he noticed Houndour was following him "What's wrong?"
"Houndour." Houndour barked
"You wanna come along with me?" Gary asked
"Houn." Houndour nodded
Gary pulled out a Poké Ball & caught Houndour with it.
"At least I got a Pokémon Ash hasn't caught yet." Gary said before noticing something "Huh?"
Gary saw Meowzie, Rattata, & Raticate spying on him
"What are you looking at?" Gary said in annoyance
"Meow." Meowzie said
"Look, don't tell Ash about this, alright?" Gary said as he left to go train for his next match
A couple of hours later, Gary was on the Grass Field with his opponent Mike.
"Ladies & Gentlemen, the next match on the Grass Field between Gary Oak from Pallet Town & Mike from Fuchsia City is about to begin." The announcer said
"Go, Nidoran." Mike said as he sent out a Male Nidoran
"Nido." Nidoran said
"Go Doduo!" Gary said as he sent out his Doduo
"Duo." Doduo said
"Battle begin!" The referee said
GARY VS MIKE
"Nidoran, Horn Attack." Mike said. Nidoran's horn glowed white & charged at Doduo
"Doduo, use Aerial Ace." Gary said. Doduo became surrounded by light blue streaks & hit Nidoran which caused it to stumble back
"Use Thunderbolt." Mike said
"NIDOOOOO!" Nidoran said as he fired a bolt of yellow electricity
"Use Double Team." Gary said. Doduo glowed white & created multiple copies of himself & avoided the attack
"Now, Mirror Move."
"DUOOOOOO!" Doduo said as he fired Thunderbolt & hit Nidoran
"Use Sludge Bomb." Mike said as he prepared Sludge Bomb
"Use Mud-Slap." Gary said. Doduo fired a stream of brown mud from his beaks which hit Nidoran & caused him to fire Sludge Bomb in the wrong direction
"Now, Jump Kick."
Doduo jumped into the air & kicked Nidoran which caused him to faint
"Nidoran is unable to battle, Doduo wins." The referee declared
"Nidoran return." Mike said as he returned Nidoran "Go Nidorino!"
Mike sent out a Nidorino
"Doduo return." Gary said as he returned Doduo "Go Hitmonlee!"
Gary sent out his Hitmonlee
"Hitmonlee." Hitmonlee said
"Hitmonlee, Bulk Up." Gary said.
"Lee!" Hitmonlee said as he flexed & became surrounded in crimson aura
"Nidorino, use Peck." Mike said. Nidorino's horn glowed light blue & charged at Hitmonlee
"Use Counter" Gary said. Hitmonlee glowed orange & kicked Nidorino
"Use Venoshock." Mike said. Nidorino fired multiple purple poison darts from its back & hit Hitmonlee
"Use Mega Kick." Gary said. Hitmonlee's foot became surrounded in red energy & charged at Nidorino
"Confusion." Mike said. Nidorino's eyes glowed violet, telekinetically stopped Hitmonlee in his tracks & raised him into the air
"Use Revenge." Gary said.
"Hitmonlee!" Hitmonlee yelled as he became surrounded in orange aura, unleashed a burst of orange energy & hit Nidorino
"Use Dig." Mike said. Nidorino dug underground while spinning
"Use Bulldoze." Gary said. Hitmonlee stomped on the ground with its foot & created a shock wave which forced Nidorino out of the ground.
"Now Hitmonlee, Blaze Kick."
Hitmonlee's foot became engulfed in flames & kicked Nidorino which caused him to faint
"Nidorino is unable to battle, Hitmonlee wins." The referee declared
"Nidorino return." Mike said as he returned his Nidorino. "Go Nidoking!"
Mike sent out a Nidoking
"Nidoking!" Nidoking roared
"Hitmonlee return." Gary said as he returned Hitmonlee "Go Blastoise!"
Gary sent out his Blastoise
"Blast." Blastoise said
"Nidoking, Megahorn." Mike said. Nidoking's horn glowed green & charged at Blastoise
"Use Skull Bash." Gary said. Blastoise became surrounded by light blue aura & clashed with Nidoking which caused an explosion & both Pokémon skidded back
"Use Hydro Pump."
Blastoise fired powerful blasts of water from his cannons & hit Nidoking
"Use Sludge Wave." Mike said.
"Nidoooo!" Nidoking said as he sent a purple wave a sludge & hit Blastoise
"Use Water Pulse." Gary said. Blastoise fired an orb of water from his cannon
"Use Sludge Bomb." Mike said. Nidoking fired brown blobs of explosive sludge from his mouth which collided with Water Pulse
"Use Ice Punch." Gary said. Blastoise's fist became surrounded by icy blue aura & charged at Nidoking
"Use Thunder Punch." Mike said. Nidoking's fist became surrounded by yellow electricity & both Pokémon punched each other
"Use Rain Dance." Gary said
"Blaaaaaaast!" Blastoise said as he summoned dark clouds & heavy rain
"Use Thunder." Mike said.
"NIDOKIIIIIING!" Nidoking said as he fired a powerful blast of yellow electricity
"Use Protect." Gary said
"Blast." Blastoise said as he summoned a turquoise force field & protected himself
"Now, use Surf." Gary said
"BLAAAAAAAAST!" Blastoise said as he summoned a huge tidal wave & hit Nidoking which caused him to faint
"Nidoking is unable to battle, Blastoise wins. So the victory goes to Gary of Pallet Town." The referee declared
"Thanks Blastoise." Gary said as he pet Blastoise's head "You were great."
"Blast." Blastoise smiled
