Chapter XXIV Climax
Crystal and Scorbunny are in pursuit to chase down Ludicolo and Swellow. However, the Swallow Pokemon noticed them and drops Ludicolo off to stop their tracks. "Why are you following us?" Swellow asked in a demanded tone.
"Ludicolo mentioned something about her. Who is she?" Crystal asked and narrowed her eyes at them. She wanted to find out whether the girl is an ally or not. To protect and bring some Pokemon back home.
"You'll see her soon, oh yeah~" Ludicolo sings while dancing. "You just fell for our bait, your highness." Swellow slaps his head for telling them their real plan.
Scorbunny stands in front of Crystal to protect her. "Who are you guys!? You'll have to get through-" Crystal raises her hand to stop Scorbunny. "Eh? Crystal?"
"They're not the enemy." Crystal explained calmly while observing them. She isn't a fool they're bringing her far from them. "Right now, Nomu's are rampaging the city. We need to save them before it's too late."
"But, Crystal! Don't you think we need to know the fifth guardian?" Scorbunny asked and wondering what changed her mind that fasts.
"I had a hunch who but we need to keep those civilians-" She dodges the razor leaf heading towards them. "Since when did Nomu have powers?" They all dodge the attack.
"Man, we should've asked the girls about Nomu back in the USJ incident." He squeaks in fear and Swellow swop in to save him. "Ah, thanks!"
"Let's focus on the main priority, guys." Crystal ordered them and attack the Nomu.
Riko breathes heavily and begins to wear out including Midoriya, Todoroki and their Pokemon. Stain is more powerful and has more battle experience than them. They're clearly out of their league and Riko knows Mewtwo is holding back. Her DNA Pokemon wanted to see what they're capable of before revealing his true powers. She also has a mega key and mega stone to let Mewtwo evolve.
Riko wouldn't forgive Stain for what he did to Tensei. Tensei is everything to her and Iida as he's the one who saved her from the darkness. Darkness she couldn't accept her role for being one of Arceus's guardians.
~Flashback 5 years ago~
It feels like her whole world turned upside down. She finds out the whole truth about the death of her parents. Her parents were killed by a villain named All For One. They died for protecting her identity as one of the chosen guardians. All For One wanted to take every Arceus's guardians to become one of the powerful living beings and control all the legendary or mythical Pokemon. Both humans and Pokemon are going to bow their heads to become his slaves. It's rare to become a chosen one and take their roles seriously to stop the evil.
Her grandparents are pressuring her to become strong thus cutting her relationship with the Iida family. Riko is always focusing to control her powers and pretending she has withdrawal from using the Quirk. The black-haired girl feels suffocated in her home. They have taken all her toys and piano to refrain her from distracting the training. Riko couldn't stand the pressure and runs away from her house.
Riko is sitting under the tree and hugging her knees. She's sick and tired of following their orders. They never give her the freedom to speak her thoughts and feelings. "Why me of all people? I don't want to become a guardian." She whimpered and covered her face.
"RIKO! RIKO, WHERE ARE YOU?"
"RIKO!"
She whimpered more and covered her ears. "Please, no more." Riko's emotion goes haywire and is surrounded by a hurricane. "I don't want to go back. Mama and Papa."
Tensei immediately recognized the hurricane and it's coming from Riko. He's completely in rage after hearing the news of Takamasa are cutting off every people they tied with. Trapping Riko inside the household to train every day 24/7 to grasp her Quirk properly. He's one of the people who knew Riko's secret and vowed not to reveal it. It isn't fair for them to forbid Riko from expressing her feelings and thoughts but to obey their command.
He found the hurricane with Absol by his side. "We need to find out a way to stop this, Tensei." Absol didn't want to hurt Riko by hitting any random attack.
"Riko, it's us! Absol and I! Little butterfly, stop your hurricane, please!" He begged and hoping Riko would listen.
Riko silently gasps and hears Tensei's voice. "Se-Sei-nii..." She whispered and biting her lower lips. "No, leave me alone!"
The hurricane is getting stronger and Absol clutches the ground hard whereas Tensei is hugging the tree. "Riko, we can't leave you alone. We care for you and treat you as my little sister." He didn't mention that Tenya has feelings for Riko, but they're young and exploring.
"Ho-how will I know? You're not bringing me back to my home?" She sobs and lowers her hurricane. "I don't want to go back."
It breaks Tensei's heart to see her suffer. She's suffering from their harsh training and hiding her emotions. To see her in that state, Tensei couldn't stand seeing her broken like a doll.
"You won't Riri." He used her nickname been given when they first met. Kneels and wipes her tears. "You want to know why? I can't stand how they mistreat you, Riko. Teaching you how to mask your emotions and train hard every day without socializing us. It's also not a bad thing being chosen as a guardian."
"Why not? Grandmother took everything from me so I can focus my training non-stop. I hate it because I'm different." She stated coldly and gripping her arms tight.
"Being different is a good thing, Riko." He strokes her cheeks. "It's your destined to protect Pokemon and people. Who says you can only look out Pokemon? You can do both. Training? You can train but it's also important to have a break. You can also do your hobbies in your free time too."
"Tensei is right, Riko." Absol approached them closer. "What your family did is completely unforgivable. You're not a weapon but our caring and loving Riko."
"I'm not going to take you back home. You're living with us from this day onwards." Tensei declared and her eyes widened in shock. "I can't stand watching you suffer and they took your freedom just for that role. I can help you control your powers and there's no way I would follow that routine. You have a life ahead and I'm not going let you drown in darkness."
Tensei saved Riko from the grasps of her family. She's slowly accepting her role being a guardian. Riko hopes that someday she can meet the other guardians.
~Flashback ends~
Riko silently gasps to see Stain is getting closer to her. She wouldn't be able to make it in time to dodge the sword. Someone kicks Stain away to stop him from killing her and breaks his swords. "Ten-kun..." She gapes in shock to see him moving again. "You can move but you're injured..."
"You okay, Riko?" He asked his girlfriend worriedly and she nodded her head. "Todoroki-kun, Midoriya-kun, Riko and Pokemon, this has nothing to do with you guys and I apologize."
"You're saying that again?" Midoriya muttered.
"That's why I can't allow you guys to bleed more than this!" Iida exclaimed.
Stain isn't bothered if his hand is bleeding. "It's no use trying to be reformed for appearance's sake. A person's essence does not change so easily. You will never be anything but a fake who prioritizes his selfish desires. You are cancer to society that warps the idea of 'heroes'. Someone must set you straight."
"That makes us human, isn't it?" They looked up to see a familiar blonde girl with golden eyes. "Each one of us makes our mistakes and we learn from it. To change and prevent it from happening again. Sorry for the late guys~" She winks at her friends and landed softly right next to Todoroki.
"Ophelia-san!" Midoriya yelled and sighed in relief to see her but noticed Meowstic isn't present. "Where's Meowstic?"
"Occupied at the moment." Ophelia answered and glanced at Riko. "I can take it from here. Right now, we both know you and Mewtwo are the only ones... who can stop Pokemon from rampaging." She explained with her rare serious expression. Ophelia sees her vision clearly of the fifth guardian and she's capable to bring the Pokemon back to normal.
Riko pursed her lips and glanced at Mewtwo. The DNA Pokemon nodded his head and took Riko to flee the fight. Midoriya glances at Ophelia worriedly and wonders why she didn't ask Riko to take Native. "The Nomu is getting stronger compare to that one back in USJ. Pokemon goes on a rampage for an unknown reason."
"It's also the same way that Weavile goes killing instinct!" Pikachu exclaimed in shock. He remembered clearly Weavile fights anyone including his teammate.
"Yeah." She stares at Stain with a hardened expression. "Never label us we have our selfish desires of the path we take. Not all of us became a hero for being famous and having money. We choose to become a hero to protect those who wouldn't be able to protect themselves. Iida, don't listen to his irrational logic."
"No, he's right." Ophelia wasn't surprised by his answer. "I have no right to call myself a hero... even so, I cannot give in." He declared and his expression darkened. "If I give in, then Ingenium will die. "
"Out of the question!" He dashed off but Ophelia raises her hand to stop him from moving. "What the!?" His whole body is covered in a purple aura.
"Midoriya, can you still move?" She asked calmly and he shook his head. Levitating Midoriya and setting him down right next to Native. "Guys, leave this guy to me."
"What!? Are you out of your mind, Ophelia-kun!?" Iida exclaimed in shock to hear her declaration. "He's clearly out of your league!"
"You're crazy!" Native yelled in shock and stares at Ophelia with a disbelief look. "The hero killer is after me and that kid in white armor, right? Don't fight back. It'd be better if you ran away!"
"Running away is considering a coward." Ophelia answered and slammed Stain hard. She dodges gracefully from Bisharp attack and throws debris at him. "You just need faith and hope that we're here to help than waiting for them to come!" Grabbing Bisharp's arm blade and throws him in Stain's direction.
"Wo-wow... she can handle Stain and Bisharp easily." Pikachu muttered with an awestruck look.
"Bisharp return!" Stain recalls back his Pokemon back in the ball before grabbing another one. "Let's see you can deal with this! Do you think I only have two Pokemon!? Haha, go Scizor!" He throws the ball up in the air to reveal a huge red pincer bug Pokemon in front of them.
Scizor is a bipedal, insectoid Pokemon with a red, metallic exoskeleton. It has gray, retractable forewings and hind wings with simple, curved venation. Its head is kite-shaped with three blunt horns extending above its forehead, and dark yellow eyes. Scizor's neck and part of its thorax give the appearance of being exposed: they show black skin and are surrounded by its raised exoskeleton.
"Scizor?" Todoroki grunted and grabbed his Pokedex to scan the Pincer Pokemon.
"Scizor, the Pincer Pokémon. It threatens enemies with its eye-patterned claws, which can swing with tremendous force when used in battle." It explained.
"I don't care if you have dozen of Pokemon you have!" Ophelia yelled and pushed them away. "I'm not going to call anyone of mine." She creates a purple orb and shoots at them.
Todoroki feels helpless letting Ophelia deal with Stain and his Pokemon without any backup. However, she's handling them well without breaking a sweat. "Why couldn't she call one of her Pokemon?"
"Do you think her Pokemon are out there to deal with Nomu, Sho-nii?" Yukina asked curiously and groaned in pain by her body.
The dual-haired boy stared at his two foxes Pokemon worriedly. "Return, you girls done a good job." Returning Akiko and Yukina back to their Pokeball.
"Izu..." Pikachu groaned and Midoriya immediately held him in his arms. "Do...es she has a plan?" He asked weakly.
"Ophelia-kun..." Iida stares at their fight and wonders how she knows Riko's identity. Noticing Scizor is behind Ophelia to slice her. "Look out!"
Ophelia immediately covered herself with a force field and a small blaze tackled the pincer Pokemon to reveal an owl. "Nice timing, Noctowl!" She spins around to push her enemies away. "A shining one! That's rare to see them~" Her eyes twinkled before focusing her battle.
"Noctowl... you came..." Iida is speechless to see his partner is aiding them.
"You're a fool to assume you can handle Stain without a plan!" Noctowl snapped at his Trainer. "I assume you knew I was coming, young one?"
"Yeah!" Ophelia answered happily. "I can hear your thoughts loud and I'm glad you're here, Noctowl."
Midoriya opens the Pokedex to scan the owl Pokemon right next to Ophelia. "Noctowl, the Owl Pokémon. Noctowl's eyes have a special power that allows it to see in the faintest light as if it was the middle of the day." It explained and what makes him surprised is the color of their feathers based on the picture.
Noctowl is an avian Pokemon that resembles an owl. It has light brown plumage with a darker brown pattern of triangles on its chest. Its fan-like tail is the same dark brown, while its wings are a slightly lighter shade of brown with light brown undersides. It has red eyes with black rings around them and a second, cream-colored ring around the first. Above its eyes are bushy, cream-colored feather "horns" that resemble large eyebrows. Its small beak and talons are pinkish, and its feet are cream-colored with three toes facing forward and one backward.
The one they're facing is its feather is gold and Ophelia called him shining. "Noctowl, think you can handle Scizor and I'll deal with him?" She asked the owl Pokemon.
"Be careful, young one." He raises his wings. "Don't underestimate him."
"I won't because..." Her hands were covered in a purple aura. "He isn't the first one I deal with before. Anything I need to know about him?"
"Don't lick him lick your blood, Ophelia-san!" Midoriya yelled. "He's going to make you paralyze."
"Good to know." She backflips and slams Stain hard. "He's getting stronger and desperate to kill you and Native." Ophelia declared and glares at Stain.
"You're one tough scum hero, brat." Stain chuckled darkly and wiped the blood on his lips. "You're more ahead of them. That look of your eyes... you're like All Might. What's your name, hero?"
"All Might?" Ophelia muttered and narrowed her eyes. "I'm nothing like him or any hero. I'm just a girl who will save humans and Pokemon! I'm Amethyst to stop your crimes!" Her whole body is covered in aura with a form of a phoenix and runs towards him. "Ha!"
Iida decided to help Ophelia out and runs off to use his legs slamming to Stain's face whereas Ophelia's fists meet Stain's face as well.
|| Minutes earlier ||
Gran Torino dodges Nomu's attack and jumps far away from it. "He's fast. Not faster than I can handle!" He commented under his breath. The Nomu tried to approach the couple slowly. "Stop you little... oh, the Pokeball! Go and save them!" He pressed the middle of the ball as the white light spins and slams Nomu hard. "A giant turtle!?"
It has a large, black, rock-like shell with holes that glow with a red warmth. Its skin is reddish-brown with gray-black bands on its legs and neck. It has a long neck and its eyes seem permanently closed.
It yawned and black smoke came out of his nostril and shell. "I had a nice long nap~ huh?" Blinking its eyes to see an unfamiliar environment. "Where am I?"
"Incredible... he pushed the Nomu as if nothing happen..." Gran Torino muttered with a shocked look. "Be careful, turtle!"
"Turtle?" It tilts its head. "I'm Torkoal!" He introduced himself. "Is there something that I need to know this one?"
"That's Nomu and it has multiple Quirk!" Aileen appeared out of nowhere and stands right next to the coal Pokemon with Gallade. "It can absorb and release of what Quirk it absorbs. I didn't know you have a Pokemon, Gran Torino-san."
"I didn't and it's a gift from someone." Gran Torino answered and stares at Torkoal. "What can you do, Torkoal?"
The blade Pokemon glances behind to see the coupled ran away. "Good. We're going to focus to deal with it." He glares at the Nomu who's buffing up and jumps high into the air. "Incoming!" He readied his stance.
"I'll do it and get ready, elder!" Torkoal warned Gran Torino and blew hard with a flamethrower. "Now!"
Gran Torino jumps high and slams Nomu hard to knock it out cold. "I remember you, you're interning Haru and I never met him."
Gallade smiles politely at the retired hero. "I'm Gallade and Aileen's partner, sir." He bowed politely at him before glancing at the smoking building. "Ruby Witch, Luminous, Meowstic, Hoopa and their partner are gathered over there."
"I think it's been at least two or three minutes." Aileen commented and observed the Nomu closely. "Something is going on around here."
"You think there is a reason behind this mess?" Torkoal asked the blue-haired girl curiously.
"I believe so... I couldn't point out why." She nudges the Nomu slightly. "I have a feeling they're just guinea pigs to see the results."
"Let's restrain this guy quickly and turn him over to the police so we can go help!" Gran Torino exclaimed as Hoopa appeared just in time to see her. "Ah! A genie!?"
"Tehee~ a genie hero at your service!" Hoopa bowed his head politely at Gran Torino. "So my chibi mermaid." It irked Aileen but brushed it off. "What can I do?"
"You have to take Nomu back to Ruby Witch's sidekick." Aileen answered and glancing at them. "We need to meet Midoriya because he's in trouble."
"Where is he!?" Gran Torino asked and shaking her shoulder slightly. "I swear if I see that brat and that rodent, I'll skin them alive!"
"He sends me a location where to find us." Aileen stops Gran Torino from shaking her. "He's in the alleyway at 4-2-10 Ekou Street. Rest assured Amethyst is with them as we speak."
"Amethyst?" Gran Torino frowned and wouldn't remember a hero's name.
"Her real name is Ambrosius Ophelia Fay." Hoopa answered and uses psychic to levitate the Nomu. "You sure I can't stay with you guys?"
"No." Aileen shook her head. "They need you and we can look after ourselves. "
"If you insist..." He shrugged his shoulder and open the portal for them. "Stay alive guys!" Dragging Nomu with him and the portal closed itself.
"Let's go." Aileen takes the lead to find their location.
|| Present ||
Stain is temporarily immobilized by their sync attack. Ophelia narrowed her eyes and predicts Stain's next action. "Todoroki, use your fire while he's distracted." She ordered the dual-haired boy.
Ophelia stops Stain from grabbing his sword using psionic energy. "I will defeat you!" Iida vowed to get his justice. "This time, you, as a criminal-"
"Now, Todoroki!" Ophelia yelled and glanced at Iida.
"And I, as a hero!" Iida kicks Stain's rib as Todoroki uses his fire to hurt Stain.
Ophelia raises her hand to use psionic and levitate themselves. Landing safely on the ground and smiles softly at the boys. "We've done a great job, guys."
Noctowl finishes Scizor with a moon blast and slams him right next to the unconscious Stain. Todoroki freezes them both. "Don't celebrate yet, Ophelia. He's still..." They froze to see them are unable to move.
"He's probably knocked out after all that... right?" Midoriya asked them and glances at Ophelia. "Did you... went into his mind?"
"No." Ophelia answered truthfully and shook her head. "We gave everything we got and he's knocked out for now." She wasn't surprised at disobeying her orders. Ophelia wouldn't blame them since they're worried about her well-being.
"What about his Pokemon?" Noctowl asked and landed right next to Iida. "I believe he caught you guys off, guard. He had Pokemon all this time."
"Not to mention his Weavile was on a rampage, unlike Scizor and Bisharp." Pikachu commented.
"We should restrain him and get out to the street." Ophelia reminded them and grabs Stain's Pokeball. "Three huh?" She muttered and called Scizor back to his Pokeball.
"Ophelia, is there anything to tie him up with?" Todoroki asked her curiously.
"Go, Serperior." Ophelia called one of her Pokemon out. "Can you wrap him using your vine whip? None of us don't have handcuffs to tie him."
"I don't mind." Serperior shrugged her shoulders. "We should also take all his weapons off him."
"Thanks..." Ophelia's body is beginning to sway and Todoroki saves her before she could fall.
"Ophelia-san!" Midoriya yelled and kneels with them. "You okay?"
"I-I-I can't see..." She whispered low enough to make Todoroki and Midoriya hear. "My body is taking a toll. Using psionic and seer at the same time... I can be blind and my whole body is weak."
Serperior looks worried about her Trainer because she overdid it this time. Using both seer and psionic can damage her health more. "Ophelia..." She whispered.
One of the Pokeball pops out to reveal Garchomp with a grim look on his face. "I can carry her. You guys are injured and unable to carry Ophelia." Todoroki hands Ophelia over to Garchomp and he cradled her like a baby.
"Is she going to be okay?" Iida asked worriedly and feels guilty for not seeing the signs.
"She's a fighter." Garchomp answered and hears her soft snore. "Ophelia is going to be fine."
Riko punches the Nomu before it could hit one of the heroes. Riko immediately aids them with Mewtwo. The black-haired girl with hazel eyes couldn't stop worrying Iida but she needs to focus to protect the heroes and civilians.
"You finally found someone to protect with your life, Mewtwo?" Scorbunny asked and dodges Nomu's attack.
"You can say she and I have a similar past." Mewtwo answered and throws Nomu using psychic.
Someone grabs Nomu to reveal Endeavor. Endeavor grabs Nomu and uses his hell flame Quirk to burn his head completely until it turned into blue flames. Releasing Nomu with a proud look on his face. "Carbonized cells cannot regenerate." He commented proudly before an arrow passed him by to hit the flying Nomu. Turning around to face one of Ruby Witch's interns, Artemis or known as Clara Dawn Sycamore.
"Decidueye save them!" Her arrow quill Pokemon flies off and catches the civilians on time.
The flying Nomu is completely immobilized by the arrow as it turned into vines to trap it completely. Clara glances at Endeavor and lowers her bow. "It's a huge surprise to see you here, Endeavor."
"The feeling is mutual, Artemis." He grunted and was still bitter about how she won't accept the marriage proposal to marry one of his sons, Natsuo. "Those heroes with Quirks that are not effective against the villain, go to Ekou Street, District 4 to help there! Artemis, join them too. Your sister is with the honorary elder."
"Ten-kun..." Riko whispered and Crystal stares at her with an understanding look.
She can tell Riko cares for Iida deeply and leaves him by Ophelia's hand. "Don't worry, Riko. Ophie is strong and she has the others to protect them."
"Ye-yeah, thanks Crystal." She smiles weakly and focusing the task at hand.
"Native-san, can you move?" Midoriya asked the injured hero.
"Yeah, I'm okay now." Native assured them and looked at Serperior, Noctowl, Garchomp and Pikachu curiously. "You guys are Pokemon?"
"Yeah." Noctowl nodded his head. "We can assure you. We meant no harm and some Pokemon goes on a rampage with a reason."
Ophelia groaned and opened her eyes slightly. Her vision isn't back yet and needs to rely on her friends for now. "Luminous is still doing an investigation about that as we speak." She answered.
Todoroki held her hands. "How are you feeling, Ophelia?"
She simply squeezes his hand. "Still temporary blind but it'll be gone sure."
"You shouldn't use it at the same time, Ophelia." He scolded her and Ophelia smiles sheepishly.
"Sorry, I'll try my best to stop doing it again."
"Serperior, is there something I can help you with?" Iida asked and Serperior simply stared at him.
"I can manage and your arms are all messed up." The regal Pokemon commented bluntly. "We should let Aileen check yours and the two boys' injuries."
"She's right." Noctowl nodded his head. "Let us handle him, Tenya."
"Sorry." Native apologizes and carries Midoriya on his back. "Even though I'm a pro, I was just in the way." He feels bad for letting the teenagers and Pokemon deal with the villain and his Pokemon.
"No, I don't think you could've done anything one-on-one with the hero killer's Quirk." Midoriya answered. "He's strong."
"Fighting three-on-one with the guy making mistakes himself, we can still barely won. We should thank Ophelia for coming in time to help us. Our Pokemon are no match against his due to lack of experience." Todoroki answered bluntly.
"They're still growing to prove their worth." Garchomp commented and letting Pikachu sits comfortably on his shoulder. "We all been at their feet before. It takes time with a lot of training to become strong."
"Garchomp is right." Serperior nodded her head. "Stain lost his focus the moment Ophelia appeared. He's wasn't expecting Ophelia's Quirk is related to psychic." She commented. "It caught him off guard to deal with Iida's Reciproburst or Ophelia's psionic attack."
"How did you know when you're stuck in the Pokeball, Serperior?" Noctowl asked curiously.
"Ophelia would always update us through our head." She smirked and nudged at the owl Pokemon. "Your buddy looks upset." Whispering the last part and Noctowl nodded his head with a solemn look.
"I'm sure his friends can cheer him." He assured her.
"Now, let's quickly get him to the police-" Native was cut off by the feminine voice.
"There they are!" They looked up excluding Ophelia to see Aileen, Gallade, Torkoal and Gran Torino.
"Gran Torino!" Midoriya yelled in surprise to see his mentor. "Eh? A red turtle?"
"I don't remember Aileen having Torkoal in her team." Garchomp commented and looked at Torkoal curiously.
"Torkoal?" Todoroki muttered and scans the coal Pokemon.
"Torkoal, the Coal Pokemon. Torkoal burns coal within its body to produce energy. As a defense, Torkoal can release smoke from its nostrils and its back to confuse enemies." His Pokedex explained.
"Eeep! We're so screwed!" Pikachu wailed and hides on Garchomp's back.
Gran Torino jumps and kicks Midoriya's face. "I thought I told you guys to follow me but you didn't!" He yelled angrily. "Don't you dare to hide on the shark's back, you rodent! I can see you!"
"What a beautiful reunion!" Torkoal cried and smoke came out of his nostril.
Aileen and Gallade jump back away from him. "Torkoal, please control your smoke!" The blue-haired pleads and Torkoal sniffs before nodding his head.
"I highly doubt that's a beautiful reunion." Gallade commented as they approached them. "I'm glad that you guys are okay."
"Apart from Ophelia, she's temporarily blind." Garchomp explained and Aileen stares at them with a surprised look.
"Stain did a number on you guys." Aileen commented and noticing their injuries.
"Who is he?" Serperior asked curiously.
"The hero I'm with interning with, Gran Torino. But why?" Midoriya moaned in pain.
"You're sending your location." Gallade answered and crossed his arms. "We happened to stumble Gran Torino and Torkoal. Now, you know the rest..."
"Well, I don't know what's going on, but I'm glad you're okay." Gran Torino is pleased to see Midoriya and Pikachu are okay.
Ophelia patted Garchomp's shoulder to lower her. "My sight is back, thanks Garchomp." She calls Garchomp back to his ball.
"It's around here!"
"Endeavor told us there was a request for help here but..."
"You captured Stain." Clara looks surprised to see what Serperior is holding right now.
"Ah, Clara!" Aileen and Ophelia yelled out her name in shock.
"You guys are busy." Clara commented with a relieved look on her face. "I think we should check your injuries." She noticed Iida got the most injured comparing the others.
"Call the police and ambulance immediately." Ophelia ordered the hero and they immediately did.
"You guys..." Iida called Midoriya, Todoroki, Ophelia and the Pokemon. "You were injured because of me." He bowed his head. "I am truly sorry. I couldn't... see anything... through my anger..." Tears started to fall out of his eyes.
"I'm sorry, too." Midoriya speaks up. "Even though you were feeling so cornered, I didn't notice at all. Even though we're friends..."
Aileen smiles softly. "It's okay to lend your pain and sorrow to your friends, Iida." She spoke softly. "It's okay not to be okay."
"She's right, Tenya." Noctowl nodded his head. "We all have our faults not seeing how you truly feel. Wipe your tears, Tenya." Using his wings to wipe Iida's tear.
"Pull yourself together. You're the class rep, right?" Todoroki asked Iida bluntly.
"You need to fix your comforting words, Todoroki." Ophelia commented and laughs nervously. "He's right though... keep your help up high. All the most important is we're still alive and breathing."
"Yeah." He stands up and sniffs.
Ophelia noticed a flying Nomu is heading towards them. "Get down!" She yelled and used psionic to stop the Nomu but it didn't work. It captured her before anyone could stop it.
"Ophie!" Aileen yelled out her friend worriedly.
"Tch." Clara clicks her tongue and calls Decidueye. "Decidueye, use-"
"Wait!" Gallade stops Clara from ordering Decidueye. "You're going to hurt Ophelia if you let Decidueye use that move!"
"Gah!" Ophelia cried out in pain as its talons grip her shoulder tight to make it bleed.
"Torkoal use rapid spin and Decidueye catch her once it loses its grip!" Aileen gives them an order.
Torkoal tucked his whole body and spins around to attack the flying Nomu directly. It losses its grip and drops Ophelia in the process. The arrow quill Pokemon catches her on time and Ophelia raises her hand to save Torkoal from falling. "Ophelia, are you injured?"
"It grips my shoulder hard enough to make it bleed by its claws." Ophelia answered and lowered Torkoal down.
"Ow!" Serperior releases Stain in the process and licking the blood of the hero's cheek to paralyze the flying Nomu. "He's getting away!" The regal Pokemon tried to capture him with a vine whip but he's fast.
"This society is overgrown with fake heroes..." He runs and jumps high. "... and the criminals who wave their power around idly..." Stabbing Nomu's head to kill it in a process. "Should all be purged."
Ophelia narrowed her eyes at Stain and watched him closely. "This is all..." Pulling his blade up. "To create a more just society."
"Ophelia..." Decidueye whispered her name under his breath.
"He won't go on any further." Ophelia answered. "It's adrenaline rush and wanting to tell his thoughts about the heroes. His point of view about them and won't last for long."
"Still we need to be on our guard. I take it you have a plan?" He asked and she nodded her head.
"Why are you all standing around in a group?" They turned around to face Endeavor. "The villain should've escaped this way."
"How are things on your end?" One of the heroes asked the number two hero.
"Things got a little rough." He answered and faced the hero killer. "But don't tell me that man is..."
"Yeah, that's hero killer Stain." Clara cuts him off.
Stain huffs as his mask begin to remove itself. "Endeavor." Glancing behind him.
Endeavor smirked and activated his Quirk against Stain. "Hero killer!"
Stain stands up and everyone looks shocked to see him behind the mask. Everyone can sense his bloodlust for them and making them frozen. "You fakes... I must make things right..." He starts to walk slowly towards them. "Someone must be dyed in blood... I must take back what it means to be a hero! Come! Try and get me, you fakes! The only ones I'll let kill me are the true heroes... All Might and Ameythst!" Releasing his killer instincts and almost everyone falls on their knees.
Decidueye drops Ophelia in the process as she grabs Stain's head and goes into his mind. Aileen knows her true intention. "Ophie!"
Ophelia knocks Stain's mind completely to knock the hero killer out. She exhales and looks at the others. "He's unconscious and won't be able to regain consciousness for a few hours."
"She goes into his mind and knocks him out coldly." Gallade explained seeing some of them don't know Ophelia's Quirk. "It's part of her Quirk."
Gran Torino couldn't stop watching the blonde girl with golden eyes. The girl resembled someone he cares about before she passed away.
Noctowl narrates: They manage to defeat Stain with the help of Ophelia and Noctowl's unexpected arrival.
