Finally the time had come, he looked out his window and noticed the street was completely deserted, the air was thick, and an ill omen hung over the place. He looked up at the moon, and contemplated how magnificent it looked that night.

He couldn't help but shudder with excitement, this would be the day he would be free of the Muggles, forever. And also the big day when he would be reunited with his brothers. People of different ages and ethnicities united for the greater good.

United in a united front to save what made them different, what made them special. He learned from his lord the most diverse branches of magic, of course he wasn't even close to comparing himself to his teacher. But he hoped one day to be a great asset to him and his cause.

Harry, seeing the time, decided to act. He quickly donned his standard Acolyte uniform. Wand in hand, he took another step toward freedom.

He knew that the moment he used magic, the Ministry would be notified, and in turn, Dumbledore. They calculated that he would have an average of 5 minutes to act.

With firm determination he opened the bedroom door and walked towards his cousin's bedroom. The door was ajar, and already in the hallway he could smell the stench coming from the bedroom, the stench of dirty laundry and rotting food, mixed with the unmistakable smell of marijuana.

He entered the room and walked towards his cousin. Channeling all the hatred she felt for him, all the pain caused, all the tears he shed thanks to the garbage in front of him. He pointed his wand at his cousin's neck, and in a steady, cold voice, he whispered the words he always heard when he had Dementors around.

" Avada Kedavra."

A sickly green flash of light flashed into the room, and immediately the fat boy's snoring stopped. And the room was completely silent.

Without looking back, he headed for his uncle's room. He froze when he felt the bed creak, and strange, wet sounds came from inside the room. A gasp and then a satisfied sigh, then the zipper on one pants zipped up, Harry's eyes twitched in a mocking smile, well at least they'll die satisfied. thought Harry.

Deciding to want to see the despair and fear stamped on her uncles' faces before killing them. Harry kicked open the door.

He silenced Petunia's scream, and with a simple wave of his wand, barbed wire wrapped around his aunt's body, and her mouth opened in a silent scream. Vernon coming out of his stupor, tried to attack Harry, but was too slow. Harry kicked his uncle in the stomach, and as Vernon bent down to catch air and vomit up his supper, Harry brought his knee up and snapped his uncle's nose, who stumbled back and fell onto the bed.

The two looked fearfully and hatefully at Harry, he decided to play a little.

" Well, at least Dudykkins died without suffering." Harry commented happily, "I thought about torturing him in front of you, but that would be tedious. I want to break you, not your pathetic son."

He laughed when he saw the tears falling from his aunt's face as she looked at him with pleading eyes, and his uncle looked at him with more hatred than fear… And that would have to change.

" CRUCIO"

The torture section started, and it lasted for a full four minutes, by the end, Harry was bloodied, his uncles room was completely red, and the smell of burning flesh was starting to bother him.

5 minutes since the cousin's death, now the owl would arrive at any moment, along with aurors, probably Kingsley, Moody and Nymphadora Tonks would be the first, since they were in order, and his safety was paramount. Soon after, by the spells cast, Dumbledore would appear, and it froze his blood. He couldn't last a minute with Dumbledore without having broken ribs and several other bruises, and that Dumbledore taking it easy. He had to give the signal and leave soon.

Rushing down the stairs, he threw a redoubt at the door and pointed his wand at the sky. And he shouted "Für das Allgemeinwohl." A blue ray came out of his wand, and appeared in the sky, just above his relatives' house, the symbol of Grindelwald.

He finished shouting the words and several cracks appeared around him, and soon a battle broke out, the Acolytes of Grindelwald and the order of the phoenix faced each other with wands in their hands.

" Damned sneaky snake." A female voice commented amusedly joining Harry.

" Well, almost a Slytherin here." Harry said back, also amused.

The gray-haired but still elegant and imposing woman smiled tenderly at the boy and enveloped him in a hug, but released him quickly.

" My boy, let's leave the courtesy for later, say goodbye to your friends." She pointed to mrs. Fig.

" HARRY!" A familiar voice yelled.

" Wotcher Tonks!" Harry saluted his cousin.

" What are you doing? Get away from her!" Tonks yelled motioning to the lady beside him.

" Forget it Nymphadora, Potter betrayed us!" Moody said looking angrily at Harry.

" Constant surveillance, isn't it Moody?" Harry commented.

" Since when did you get involved with these people? And under Albus' nose… Credit to you boy." Moody grudgingly admitted.

" Since I realized Albus let me be abused and treated worse than a Malfoy house elf." Harry said simply.

" Albus loves him like a grandson, you will break the old man's heart, and I will have to share my good Firewhiskey with him!" Moody grunted irritably.

Harry took a vial from his pocket and tossed it to Tonks, knowing the paranoid Auror would simply explode the vial just in case.

" Tonks, take care of this and give it to Albus, ask him to show it to Sirius too, and tell Mom I love her after all, forever." Harry said smiling tenderly at the girl he considers a sister.

Tonks, realizing what was happening, tried to run forward and grab her brother, but Moody held her back.

" Let him go. He made his choice, I hope he doesn't regret this boy." Moody warned.

Kingsley for the first time said, "Alastor, aren't we going to get Potter?"

Moody shook his head, "We're outnumbered, and we won't be able to fight that many at once, the boy has made his choice, let him go. And I told Albus that leaving the boy with these horrible people would backfire, but he didn't want to believe that anyone could treat little Harry so badly." Moody said.

" W-Who are these people?" Tonks asked confused.

" These are Grindelwald's acolytes. Albus will not be happy with the news."

" HARRY!" Tonks screamed scandalized.

" Where were you when I was locked in my room starving? Being beaten and abused every day? huh? Harry asked coldly.

Tonks recoiled as if slapped in the face.

" B-But I love you, you're little Harry, you can't just join these bad people!" Tonks shook her head, now tears were streaming down her face, "Y-Come with me Harry, me and Mom will never let you come back here again, I swear... Oh she'll be so furious when she finds out these vile people..." Tonks spoke quickly.

" She knew and did nothing." Harry cut in coldly.

" Impossible! She would never let him back if she knew." Tonks said stubbornly.

Harry smiled sadly at Nymphadora, oh how much he loved his sister, Tonks was always a cheerful and fun child, she always refused to see the worst in people, and always assumed the best in them. That's why the auror job wasn't for her, she was too kind for that kind of service, maybe giving classes she was much better.

" Come on Harry, Dumbledore will be here any minute." Vinda said and placed a hand on Harry's shoulder, giving Harry a firm and comforting squeeze at the same time.

Harry looked at Alastor, and before disappearing with Vinda, he said, "Tell Albus Immer zum Wohle der Allgemeinheit."

And then Harry Potter was never seen on British soil again for two years.

Endnotes:

That's it, I've always read stories where Harry joins the Death Eaters, but this time I decided to do it differently, what if Harry joined the Acolytes of Grindelwald? (There will be an explanation of how it all happened in the next chapter, this was just the prologue, and I wanted to show some "action" right away for the introduction.)

The next chapter is coming out soon, I don't know exactly when, but it shouldn't be long.
