Chapter 8: Nomu (Part 3)

Previously, After Six was impaled by the Nomu. Mono went berserk in vengeance to torture and eliminate it, whereas Six feels a burning pain so hurt that she faints.

The Nomu launches multiple muscles to Mono, shredding through the air. However, they are stopped right in front of Mono by some invisible wall.

Mono quickly uses his power to cut the arms into pieces. Then, he teleports to the Nomu to kick it into its face with his enhanced power around his foot.

"HOW DO YOU FEEL NOW WHEN YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING TO ME?" - Mono shouted while still emitting blue particles around his eyes. - "I WON'T KILL YOU SOON BUT LET YOU SUFFER THE PAIN I AND SHE SUFFERED."

Then, he starts uses his power to form multiple transmission giant needles and strikes the Nomu, making it roar. It gives Mono a deadly glare and starts rushing to him. Mono accepts the challenge and also flies, ready to clash with it.

Meanwhile, at the panicking crowd.

As soon as they knew that Endeavor has been defeated, Everyone is panicking.

"THERE'S NOTHING SERIOUS HAPPENING! PLEASE BE CALM, EVERYONE!" - A hero shouts - "PLEASE FOLLOW OUT INTRODUCTION."

"GET OUT!" - A civilian says as he pushes another person to escape.

"EVERYONE, PLEASE CALM DOWN! IT'LL BE FINE!"

However, it seems only to make the crowd more panicked than before.

"Without a symbol..." - A reporter says while struggling not to fall in the crowd - "This is society without a symbol of peace."

"STOP SAYING THAT CRAP, ALREADY!" - A random teenager with a striped scarf yells to the reporter. - "OPEN YOUR EYES BEFORE SPOUTING OFF ON TV!"

"LOOK!" - The teen says as he points in a direction. - "THOSE FLAME IS STILL RISING! ENDEAVOR'S ALIVE AND FIGHTING!"

Then, he points at Mono, who is beating the hell out of the Nomu.

"LOOK AT THE SKY! THERE IS EVEN A TEENAGE BOY FIGHTING THE MONSTER ALONE!" - He takes a little breath - "SO DON'T GIVE UP JUST YET! THERE'S STILL A DUDE OUT THERE RISKING IT ALL FOR US! CAN'TCHA SEE?"

"We come to you again from up in the sky." - A reporter on the helicopter near the fight says. - "Ah! There's the jet-black villain...Oh! IT'S HEADING TOWARD THE EVACUEES."

Suddenly, Mono appears beneath the Nomu and accidentally kicks it into the helicopter.

"FALL BACK!" - The reporter orders the pilot but it seems too late.

However, Mono then performs many kicks to the monster, sending it even higher than the skyscrapers.

In the air, the Nomu is very pissed off when getting beaten by Mono. Suddenly, as it looks at Mono, who is slowly walking mid-air to approach, it sees Thin Man, The one who could defeat it with ease, overlapping Mono as if they are the same.

The Nomu then desperately launches more and more tentacles to Mono.

However, Mono teleports behind it and slashes it into half with his power. Then, he processes to cut the Nomu's body into pieces, leaving the head intact. The Nomu is very shocked about how powerful Mono is and how stupid it is to challenge him.

Mono now is very much himself anymore. His left eye is still emitting a large number of glitching particles and he is completely in rage. The vengeance of all his past selves crams inside his little mind and makes him go berserk without control.

As the head's falling, Mono raises his hand and focuses his power around his hand. Particles start accumulating, forming a gigantic glitching black sword almost twice as long as his arms. With all his strength, Mono slashes the Nomu.

However, as the sword slices halfway through the head, Mono suddenly feels exhausted. It seems that he has surpassed his limit for so long that his body no longer withstands the intensity of his power. His vision starts to blur and he faints.

The Nomu wonders why Mono's attack suddenly stops. It looks and sees that Mono is falling and being fragile. With all vengeance, the Nomu quickly grows back its body fully and launches itself to Mono, wanting to strike him back. Then, it opens its huge mouth, wanting to eat him alive.

However, as it is just a few centimeters away from Mono, Endeavor suddenly rushes and punches it with his flaming hands, igniting its face.

However, the Nomu is still alive and struggling to heal while being burnt.

"I'm roasting him from inside his mouth! But his regeneration is still keeping up?!" - He thinks.

"HAWK! PUSH ME UP!" - Endeavor yells as loads of feathers fly into his back, creating wings of flame and accelerating his speed - "NOMU! YOU BIOENGINEERED FREAK!"

"Created to possess multiple quirks and obsess with strength." - Endeavor thinks and says to the Nomu.

"You're...me."

"My past...or a future...that might have been..."

As soon as he reaches the safe height to use his Ultimate skills.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" - He then yells to avoid feeling the pain and also boosting his fighting spirit.

"I have always hated that stupid school motto!" - He thinks. - "PLUS ULTRA! PROMINENCE BURN!"

From Endeavor's body, a pillar of flame is fired through the Nomu, burning the feathers in the process. The light-emitting from the flame brightens the sky like a true sun. Every civilian watching directly or through TVs or any devices can only be open-mouthed.

Then, Endeavor and the Nomu fall like a meteor. Every hero in sight tries to catch but misses and he crashes. Dust is everywhere.

However, as the dust fades, there stands a man, raising his right hand to the sky, signaling his victory against the monster, which is perfectly black-roasted behind him.

"IT'S ENDEAVOR! HE'S BACK UP!" - A reporter shouts to inform everyone who has been observing the fight. - "HE'S DOING THAT POSE! IN VICTORY! NO!"

"TO SIGNAL...HIS START!"

Endeavor has used all his strength so he starts falling due to his exhaustion. Hawk then comes to hold Endeavor.

"That's All Might's pose, you know?" - Hawk says.

"No. Different...arm. He...uses his left arm!" - Endeavor says weakly.

"Who cares about that?! I'm just grateful that you won!"

"Zero points, though." - Endeavor says as he takes the bandage from hawk to ease the heavily injured left side of his face. - "A real sorry start for me."

"If I may disagree...your victory of yours today is absolutely huge!" - Hawk says in respect for Endeavor. - "First, let's do something about your bleeding wounds..."

"I can't move. Call someone for help..." - Endeavor says to inform about his condition.

"Just a minute, Now..." - A male voice suddenly interrupts him. - "None of this is how I planned it, but that's fine."

Endeavor and Hawk look at where the voice comes from and see a youngster. His body is covered with heavily burnt skin and stitches.

"Well, Endeavor..." - The youngster says as if he is familiar with them. - "Should I say...Nice to meet you?"

Wait then what happened to Mono when he fell from the sky?

Let's turn the time back a bit.

5 Minutes ago

Mono was falling but was luckily caught by Hawk's feathers. He was awakened by the sudden pull. He could only see the ground.

"There's...someone?" - Mono thought.

The closer he is to the ground, he could see more clearly the person waiting for him.

"Yellow?" - Mono thought and couldn't prevent the thought - "Six?"

Then, he was caught and could finally see the person. It's Six.

"S...Six?" - Mono said, questioning whether this was true or not.

"Hi, Baggy Boi!" - Six greeted and smiled, making Mono so relieved that he couldn't believe it.

"It's...really...you...Six?" - Mono asked one last time to check that he is not dreaming. And contrasting to his presume, Six answered

"Of course, it's me!"

Mono is extremely relieved and happy that Six is still alive and talking to him. And for the first time, Mono's left bright sea eye cries.

"It's really you! (sob)"

"I'm here..." - She said as she embraced him.

"How...How are you still alive? I thought...thought that you were dead because of that wound." - Mono questioned, making Six also wonder why she was still alive.

Her memories after getting impaled were very blurred. She tried to remember what had happened but it's just a blank in her memory.

"Don't worry about that now. You are the more critical one." - Six said to ease Mono's worry.

"Finally...I can rest now..." - Mono said in relief as he slowly closed his eyes.

At first, Six thought that he was sleeping but she then couldn't feel Mono's breath.

"Mono..." - She said as she shook him slightly.

"Mono!" - She said more worriedly and shook him quicker. She began feeling nervous due to Mono's silence.

"MONO!" - She shouted at him and shook him violently.

"OMG! SIX!" - Mono yelled at Six. - "WHY WOULDN'T YOU LET ME SLEEP IN PEACE?!"

He then grasped a bit. Six was very shocked by the shouting but she then chuckled in relief that Mono was fine and in fact...still very energetic like he usually be.

"Let's go! We can't let you here." - Six said and he agreed.

However, as Mono tried to get up on his own, he couldn't. Six saw and helped him walk.

The present

Mono and Six then see two people standing in the fading dust.

"He..." - Six calls for them but is interrupted by a wall of blue flame.

"Ow!" - Mono and Six's skin is slightly burnt as they are a bit too close to the fire.

They move away from the intense heat when suddenly, space around them starts becoming distorted.

Mono suddenly hears the familiar static noise and a chill down his spine behind him. He's sure that Six can sense it too.

They then are frightened by what they see behind, there..., Thin Man's slowly approaching them.

Hi, It's me, TLK9999. But you can call me "David".

Wow, Thin Man has arrived at the scene and I'm sure that he will not do anything to Mono and Six :)))

Just a quick note: Mono and Six's past will mainly base on my idea getting from other manga so if you see it familiar then it's normal.

And I need to ask a question:

"Do you want short frequent chapters or a long unregular chapter?"

Answer in the reviews so I can divide or merge the chapters together.
