Hello, everyone, and welcome to the 28th story of the 151 Pokeshipping Stories! Now, last week, Jimmy Donaldson (aka Mr. Beast) started an initiative to remove 30 million pounds of trash from the oceans, beaches, and rivers called Team Seas. And as my favorite Pokegirl loves the water, I thought to write a little story for the group. Anyways, I have a special announcement relating to this story in the second ANs. Now let's see how Ash and Misty help the seas!

It was a sunny day in the Kanto region, and a boy from Pallet Town was heading to Cerulean City to visit his friend for one of their days together. It was one of her rare days off, so they decided to go and explore a place not far from her home.

"Are you excited to see Misty again, Pikachu?" the teenager asked his loyal partner, who was in his usual place on the black-haired boy's shoulder.

"Pika, pikapi," Pikachu said to the boy. Even though most Pokémon could not speak English as humans could, the boy and his Pikachu have been together for so long he understood almost anything his starter said. The boy knew Pikachu had said, "Of course, Ash."

The boy, revealed to be none other than Pokémon Trainer Ash Ketchum, smiled and petted his partner's head. "I bet she is excited to see us again as well, buddy." The Pokémon and trainer duo then arrived at their destination: Cerulean City gym.

Ash knocked on the door, and after a while, out came a girl his age, looking just like he remembered her. She had long orange hair styled into a ponytail, and green eyes just like the sea she loved. She was currently wearing a white t-shirt and jean shorts. In her arms was a Marill. Marill gave off a happy cry when she saw Ash and Pikachu.

"I know, Marill," Misty said. "I am excited to see our friends as well," the girl said to the water and fairy-type Pokemon. While not as close as her previous "daughter," Misty still loved Marill with all of her heart.

"So Misty," Ash said, "are you excited for our day out?"

Misty smiled. "Yeah, I have been getting tired of being cramped up in here," she said. "Where do you plan on taking me today, Ash?"

"Well, I have been looking through some travel books lying around my house, and I heard of a place called Crystal Beach," Ash said. "It is named for being one of Kanto's cleanest beaches."

Misty smiled. "You definitely know how much I love the beaches, Ash," she said with a smile. "Well, I am all packed and ready to go!"

"Alright then," Ash said as Misty exited the gym. But the door did not close as an older girl with blonde hair poked her head through.

"Hey, sis," the girl said. "Are you heading out on your date?"

Both Ash and Misty blushed when the young adult called their adventure a "date." "Daisy, Ash is a boy and a friend, not a boyfriend!"

Daisy just chuckled. "Either way, have fun and stay safe." She then closed the door leaving Ash and Misty alone.

"Well, let's head that way," Ash said as the two friends started towards Crystal Beach, unknowing of the surprise that they would get once they got there.

After a long walk, Ash and Misty arrived at Crystal Beach. Ash held up the picture that he got the impression of the beach from and showed it to Misty. He then pulled it down and what they saw… well, did not match the description from Ash's source.

"Ash," Misty said, "I thought you said that Crystal Beach was one of the cleanest beaches in the whole Kanto region."

"I did," Ash said as he looked at the beach now. He could see more trash on the ground than sand. "I just don't know what could have happened between now and 1986."

"Wait," Misty said, "what year did you say that your source came from, Ash?"

"1986," Ash repeated, "from my dad's old book, 'A Traveler's Guide to the Kanto Region.'"

"WHY WOULD YOU USE A SOURCE FROM THE EIGHTIES AND THINK IT WOULD HOLD UP TO THE CURRENT DAY?!" Misty shouted at Ash.

"I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE KEPT UP BETWEEN THEN AND NOW!" Ash counter.

"Pipi, Pikachu," Ash's Pikachu said as he and Misty's Marill tried to keep their trainers from trying to kill one another, probably meaning, "Ash, Misty, calm down!"

"Marill! Marill!" Marill shouted as she pushed Ash and Misty away from one another. "Yeah, calm down!" was probably what she meant to say.

Ash and Misty looked down at their Pokémon and saw the look on their faces, and knew that fighting was not the way to solve their problem. "So, Ash," Misty said, "what do you want to do now? Go to another beach?"

Ash took a long look at the beach, or what would rather be a waterside landfill, and thought for a long while. "No, we clean this place up."

"Clean this place up?" Misty asked. "All by ourselves? But that will take years! And I only have a day off for the gym."

"Not just the two of us, Misty," Ash remarked, "we have our Pokémon to help us out, and I am sure we can get some people to help clean up this beach." He grabbed the redhead's hand. "Come on!" They then ran away from the beach.

As Ash and Misty headed towards their destination, they decided to look deeper into the situation that they were facing through Ash's Rotom Phone. It was then when they learned something much more horrifying. It was not just Crystal Beach north of Cerulean that was being littered with trash; beaches all over the Kanto region and the world were covered with trash, and most of it came from people who carelessly threw it in the rivers and oceans.

"What?!" Misty asked. "How can people be so cruel to the water Pokémon's environment?"

"BZZZT!" Rotom Phone said. "It is not just the water Pokémon, Waterflower; it is ALL Pokémon environments being affected by humanity's choice to pollute the waters of the world, as well as humans themselves."

"WHAT?!" Ash asked. "That will be a lot to ask of us to get rid of ALL of that trash!"

"Alone, yeah, BZZT!" Rotom Phone told Ash and Misty. "But together, humanity can achieve almost anything in the world."

"I guess you are right," Ash said as they arrived at where they started: Cerulean City Gym. They headed inside the gym and called for Misty's sisters.

"You are back so soon?" Daisy asked her sister. "Tracey and I were JUST starting up our fun time."

"I'm sorry, Daisy," Misty said, "I really am, but I need to ask something very important of both of you, AND our other sisters."

"Daisy?" a male voice asked as Tracey came into the room, pulling on his shirt so he would not be embarrassed by what he was doing with Daisy in the back of the gym. "What is going on back here?"

"Ash and Misty, like, want to talk to us, Lily, and Violet," the eldest Waterflower daughter said as her sisters came into the room.

"What do they want to tell us?" the girl with obviously fake pink hair asked the girl with equally fake blonde hair.

"We need your help cleaning up the place we went to," Ash said.

Violet looked at her sisters, who all gave disapproving looks at Misty. "Like, why would we care about that?" It was obvious they cared more about their beauty and social lives than putting in any sort of work, as shown by when they made Misty return to the gym and leave Ash.

"Crystal Beach is littered with trash, and totally does not match the name it was given now!" Misty yelled at them.

"Crystal Beach?" Daisy asked Misty. Daisy then looked to Lily and Violet and asked them, "Do you two remember Crystal Beach?"

"Yeah," Lily said. "We went there when we were, like, four."

"About a year before you were born," Violet said to Misty. The three elder Waterflower sisters smiled at the memories of the crystal-clear water and the sand where it would be impossible to lay a towel down unless you got there very early. "It was very beautiful, wasn't it?" Violet asked Lily and Daisy. Both of the females nodded.

"Well," Ash said as he showed the photo of the beach today to the Sensational Sisters, "this is what the beach looks like now, and I would not really call it beautiful."

"What happened?!" Lily asked as she and her sisters stood there in shock.

"BZZT!" Rotom Phone said. "Humans have left their trash not only on the beach but in the ocean, causing it to wash up. BZZT! Unfortunately, it is not just Crystal Beach that has been suffering these issues as of late."

"That is horrible," Tracey said.

"Which is why we need all of you to come with us to Crystal Beach and help us clean it up," Ash said, "and make sure that other people know what we are doing so that they can get help. After all, the more people who help us get rid of all of the trash on the beaches, rivers, and oceans, the better for humans, Pokémon, and the environment alike."

Daisy, Lily, and Violet all looked at one another and nodded. "Alright then, we will help you."

"Thank you!" Misty said as she hugged her sisters before the sextet got out of the gym and back to Crystal Beach.

Little did Ash and Misty know, they were not the only ones who were planning on having a nice and quiet off day at Crystal Beach. A particular TRio were also given an off day by their boss and were walking towards the beach.

"You know," James said to his comrades, "I heard many positive things about Crystal Beach. I just hope that they are not lying."

"I am sure that they are not," Jessie said, "I have seen many photos of this beach during its heyday, and I am sure that they have kept it up since then."

While the two adults were talking with one another, Meowth was looking out to the beach. "Uh, guys?" he said when he saw the state the beach was in. "'Dere is something that I want you all to check out." Jessie and James stopped talking and looked in the direction Meowth was pointing his claw. They saw six people working on the beach, three of whom were familiar.

"Twerps?" Jessie asked. "What are they doing here?"

"Yeah," James added, "especially the redhead one and the green shirt one. Shouldn't they be at Cerulean Gym and Oak's Lab respectively?"

"NO!" Meowth yelled, all while thinking, "Aldough yeah, I am surprised dat da twerps are here too." He then pointed to the trash that they were putting into bags. "The whole place is a mess!" te told the Rockets.

"We should go and investigate," Jessie said.

"Yeah, maybe we will have an opportunity to steal you-know-what," James said with a smile. And with that, they headed onto the beach where Ash, Pikachu, Misty, and their friends were hard at work removing all of the trash from Crystal Beach.

"This is hard work," Daisy said as she grabbed some trash with a grabby-thing.

"Yeah," Lily said, "how much more trash is left?"

"A lot," Violet said as she sighed.

"But it will be worth the effort, sisters," Misty said as she tied up a bag that she and Ash already filled to the brim.

"She is right," Tracey said, "I would love to show you my body out in the sun, Daisy." He finished his bag as well, as Jessie and James approached them.

"Hello, twerps," Jessie said as Ash and the others turned around.

"What exactly are you doing here?" James asked.

"Team Rocket?!" Ash asked in shock. "What are you trying to do, steal my Pikachu again?!"

"Pikachu Pika!" Pikachu said as he jumped out in front of his trainer.

"It is our day off, Ash," the talking Meowth said to the trainer they chased since day two. "We don't plan on taking any Pokémon for da boss. We just assumed we'd have a nice and relaxing day here at Crystal Beach, the so-called 'cleanest beach in Kanto,' and saw that the whole place looked like a Trubbish and Garbodor breeding ground."

"It is a reason why we are cleaning it up," Ash said as he took the filled bags and threw them off of the beach, "but we need a lot more help than just six people and a couple of Pokémon."

"How about we help?" Jessie suggested. "Even if we are enemies, we are not bad enough to not be so careless about our planet."

"I am not too sure about that," Tracey said with some skepticism.

"Come on, Tracey," Misty said, "they have helped us many times before despite us being on opposite ends of the morality scale."

"She's right," James said. "And I have a good idea on how to get people to join the cause of you and your boyfriend." Both Ash and Misty blushed when the blue-haired individual called them a couple.

"She is not my girlfriend!" Ash said as his cheeks were as red as his partner's.

"Do you have dat Rotom Phone thingy, Ash?" Meowth asked. "Because we need you to record us."

"BZZT!" Rotom Phone said as he appeared out of Ash's pocket. "Recording functionality activated! Go ahead!"

Jessie smiled as she and James looked at the camera. The woman with magenta hair started to speak. "Prepare to help us, our oceans are in trouble."

"We need all of your support, on the double." James added to what his partner said.

Ash and Misty looked at Jessie and James, worried about what they might say.

"What's wrong with them?" Daisy whispered to her boyfriend.

"It's a spin on the motto they usually say when they try to steal our Pokémon," Tracey said. Despite traveling for only one season with Ash, he'd had enough encounters with the TRio to know what they do when they mess with Ash.

"You can protect the beaches from devastation," Jessie said to the recording Rotom Phone.

"And help people and Pokémon in any nation," James commented.

"A cause started by two trainers in love." Ash and Misty blushed the moment the words escaped Jessie's lips.

"To help the waters and the Pokémon thereof."

"Jessie."

"And James."

"Team Seas helping to do what is right."

"So please, help us join this long, hard fight."

"Meowth! Dat's right!" Meowth said as the Rotom Phone stopped recording.

"Done! BZZT!" Rotom Phone said. "Successfully uploaded to PokéTube!"

"That was a great idea to get the word out on our cause, Team Rocket," Ash said, impressed by what his enemies did to attract attention.

"Yeah," Misty said, "and Team Seas is a good name for our group. Oh, and Ash and I are NOT a couple!"

"Yet," Jessie said as she smirked. "We all know that you are trying to deny it, both of you."

"Enough talking about my love life," Ash said. "Jessie, James, Meowth, help us clean this place up in the name of Team Seas."

"Yes, Ash," the TRio said as they all got back to work.

{Line Break}

It did not take long for word to spread about the initiative that Ash and Misty were doing to get Crystal Beach clean. Cerulean City natives came in droves to help clean up the beach, and with the number of people who came to help, Crystal Beach was looking more worthy of its name within an hour.

"Just as I remembered it," Daisy said as she looked at their hard work while holding Tracey's hand. Her sisters nodded in agreement.

"What should we do now?" Tracey asked Misty and Ash.

Ash looked at the video that the TRio made for them, and he saw that it had blown up with likes and comments. One of the top comments read, "I like what you are doing for Crystal Beach, but what about the other beaches of the Kanto region that are just as dirty?"

"BZZT! BZZT! Check this out," Rotom Phone said as he pulled up a photo of a different beach from the one they were on. While it did not look as bad as Crystal Beach did when Ash and Misty started, it still was not pleasant to look at or go to, either. "This is Silver Beach, only a few kilometers from here! BZZT!"

Ash looked at everyone who came to volunteer to help them out, "So, what do you say, Team Seas: do you think we should go and clean that beach up as well?"

A chorus of cheers erupted from the crowd, a sign of approval in the eyes of Ash and Misty. "I take that as a yes," Misty said as she led everyone away from Crystal Beach and towards Silver Beach.

{Line Break}

A month had passed since the cleaning of Crystal Beach. Misty was scrolling through her phone while lying down on her bed. She was wearing a shirt that she got pretty recently; it was a light blue shirt with a darker blue wave above the water, with a white wave facing the opposite direction below the water pattern as if to form the letter "S." It was a part of the Team Seas uniform, which her sisters commissioned for themselves and the other members of Team Seas. They were even available for sale on the website they made for Team Seas, all proceeds going to help the oceans, of course. While Misty couldn't help with Team Seas because she still had gym duties, she still kept in touch with how their mission was going.

Just then, there was a knock on the door. "Can I come in?" a voice asked. Misty smiled, recognizing the voice as belonging to Ash.

"Of course," Misty said as Ash opened the door and sat down next to Misty. "How has work for Team Seas been today?"

"Hard, but worth it as usual," Ash said as he smiled, his Pikachu nodding and giving a happy squeak in agreement.

"That's great," Misty said before she showed her phone to Ash. On the screen was how much money was raised to keep trash out of the ocean. For every 100 Pokédollars, Team Seas would remove one pound of trash out of the ocean. Ash gasped at the number.

"Three billion Pokédollars were raised to keep trash out of our oceans?" he asked in shock. Team Seas was his idea, but Ash would never expect that they would get so much money in just one month.

"Yep," Misty smiled, happy that humans were now more concerned about the habitat of her favorite Pokémon type. "And it is all thanks to you, Ash."

"It was just as much your idea, Misty," Ash said as he blushed. "And I have just the idea on how to congratulate us both on our achievement." The boy with raven hair then pulled the girl with red hair into a kiss. Misty was shocked but returned the kiss. The media would be alight when they learned that the two founders of Team Seas were in a relationship. And they still had a lot of work left to keep the oceans clean and free of trash completely. But for now, it was time for Ash and Misty to enjoy a moment to themselves.

And that is it for this story! Now, you might be wondering how you can help Team Seas (the real one, not the one in the story). Well, by going to their website, you can donate any amount of money, and your amount will equal one pound of trash removed from the waters. Even I will be getting in on the fun. For every favorite this story gets as of tomorrow, November 7th, 2021, 7:30 Standard Time, I will be donating one dollar to help Team Seas! That means you have 25 hours to help me get more favorites, and for your efforts, I will be helping all of us. I will see you next time, and dare to help the seas!
