Mono's teleported back to the hub with all the students.

I hope no one noticed me.

"Hey, Mono!" A sudden voice startles Mono, making him jump.

Looking back, Mono sees Deku, the friend that trained him with all the fighting moves.

"Oh! H...Hi, Deku!" Mono shutters and sweats a lot as he hopes that Deku didn't see him teleport or be gone for a while. And he's right.

"Where have you been? I didn't see you for a while. Where'd you go?"

Mono is panicking on the inside, looking for a way to deny.

"H...How was the match, Deku?"

"Oh. Both classes have just finished fighting, and they're retreating." Deku takes the bait immediately. Since having trained with Deku, Mono knows that he is addicted to analyzing everything related to quirks.

"Oh! What is the result? Is anyone captured?" Mono asks since he wants to know if Six got caught.

She should be able to fight Tsuyu back.

"Both teams have a member caught..." Deku says, making Mono surprised and thinking that Six's captured -"...Tsubaraba on class B and Koda from class A."

Mono sighs lightly in relief.

"So, which team do you think will win?"

"Both teams need a strategy to win," Deku says, guessing the outcome -"Though both teams have an advantage with Shinso on team A and Shiozaki on team B. But Shiozaki has more potentials than Shinso. But if Tsuyu makes a plan good enough, he also can outplay team B..."

And Deku keeps mumbling about how both teams need to do to win and the strategies, etc...

Mono, already knowing that habit of Deku, stands and tries to understand what Deku's saying. And he just can't follow his speech.

"Hey, Deku!" Mono calls out, cutting Deku's mumbling.

"Oh, sorry! It's my habit." Deku says awkwardly.

"Haha~! Don't worry!" Mono says as he convinces Deku -"I think we should come back to see the match. Combat is about to happen, I observe."

"Ok. Let's go!"

Mono feels relieved that Deku didn't keep asking the reason he disappeared.

Team B, After the first combat, gathers to see the result.

Rin, who can create scales on skins and shoot them, protects Shiozaki while she is baiting.

"Hey, Shiozaki!" Rin asks Shiozaki -"Should we go and help them? They take a quarter of time already."

"Let god bless them! Hoping that they come back." Shiozaki says while doing a praying pose of Christian.

"If you say s..."

Suddenly, a minor quake occurs.

Instantly, they both get alerted and ready to fight whoever comes to them.

Then, Shishida comes out of the pipes while carrying the hopelessly struggling Koda.

"Shishida! What happened?" Rin asks -"Where're Six and Tsubaraba?"

...

"So, they both got captured," Rin says with worry -"That's not good."

"Sorry! I was controlled by Shinso." Shishida says without noticing a tracker on his suit -"But Shinso is far more experienced than I thought."

"What do you mean?" Shiozaki asks.

"He may even be at the same level as us."

"Is it?" A fourth voice appears.

"What?!" Rin instantly realizes that and goes into combat mode -"There's someone else!"

The other two do the same, facing their back at others.

"What? But I didn't smell anything." Shishida says in surprise since his nose is sensitive -"They already attack?"

Then, Six jumps to the back of the group.

"Hi!" Six greets, making the three jump off the blow.

Turning back, team B is confused.

"Six?!" Shishida says in surprise. -"I thought Asui captured you?"

"I escaped." Six says carefreely.

"Oh. That makes the situation better, I guess." Rin says -"But how did you escape?"

"I bit Tsuyu's tongue." Six replies.

"Hahaha. Such way to escape, Six!" Shishida admires.

"Thanks. But we should discuss the plan now. Tsuyu may already launch an attack on us." Six says -"And I have a plan."

Tsuyu and team A are launching an attack on team B.

Shinso, Kirishima, and Kaminari are all covered with Tsuyu's Mucus.

While jumping through the pipes, Tsuyu thinks about Six.

Why did she get so aggressive?

Then, she remembers that Six bit her tongue before getting savaged.

Did my blood enrage her?

For now, nothing can answer the question.

But...

Maybe she should test it out...

At the observing bay

Now that he waits for the next combat, Mono rethinks about S.S.

Why would S.S control her?

Mono doesn't know why...But he knows something related to blood did.

"Hey, Monaural! Do you know the reason?" Mono asks Monaural, who Mono sure has read his thoughts.

"Figure out yourself," Monaural says as he disappears, seemingly back to Mono's mind.

Thinking a bit, Mono decides to stop for a bit.

Maybe I should ask her later. But now...

Mono then walks to Shichi, who's sitting and observing from far away from people. He wants to ask him the reason he looked at Six with bullet eyes.

"Hey!" Mono calls for Shichi, who sits with multiple Nomes on his sides and shoulders, watching the screen.

Mono finds them like a family watching a movie together.

Shichi and the Nomes all look at Mono at the same time.

"Hi!" Shichi says carefreely.

Some Nomes start climbing on Mono's shoulders and greet him, which he touches slightly.

Mono's seriousness suddenly disappears as he feels like he's petting a cute and small animal.

Shichi, who waits for Mono to be less cautious, asks -"So, what do you want?"

"Oh." Mono's lost in curiosity about the Nomes -"I want to make friends with you."

"Ok." Shichi answers carefreely again -"So, what do you want to talk about?"

Mono then sits by Shichi's side after the Nomes there moves away -"Maybe a little about ourselves. I'm Mono."

"I'm Shichi, but you already know me from the introduction."

"And where are you from, Shichi?"

"My hometown?" Shichi shows a slightly sad face -"It was destroyed..."

Mono hears that, feeling sympathy. After all, his hometown, Pale City or its former name, Shining Town, was also taken by the Eye.

"Oh! I'm sorry for reminding you of sad memories!"

"It's ok..." Shichi says with a bit more cheer-up voice -"Besides, I've moved on already...How about you?"

"I? My hometown met the same fate as yours, not destroyed but taken by...terrorists..."

"It is, I think..." Mono sadly says as he thinks about the last time he's been to Pale City, crumbling under the Tower's influence.

"Six?! We're just friends." Mono says.

"Are you? You guys seem to be more than that." Shichi says as he touches some Nomes on his shoulder like mice, and looks at Mono with them -"Or you're in love, aren't you?"

"WHAT?!" Mono startles in panic -"N...No. W...We're just friends."

Suddenly, Shichi grabs Mono's arms.

"Listen, Mono. As a friend of yours, I suggest you shouldn't go with her!" He says with seriousness, contracting to the carefree tine.

"Why?!" Mono quickly grabs Shichi's wrists and pulls it off, overpowering Shichi's strength -"Are you having something to do with her?!"

The conversation sure turns from normal to an argument quickly

"Sigh~." Shichi stops his staring and seriousness, turning back -"You sure love her, do you?..."

"I won't stop you. And I won't stop dealing with my thing with her either, with or without you." Shichi returns to his carefree self, but Mono doesn't.

"You..."

"We can end this right now. A fight is happening. And she's there, about to fight my bestie." Shichi then points at the screen, which Mono follows to see Six.

Back to team B, a few minutes ago

"Are you sure about that, Six?" Rin says -"Isn't it a bit risky?"

"Don't worry! I will back you up." Six eases the worry of the team -"Besides, I still have my secret trick for the fight."

"ALRIGHT! LET'S DO IT!" Shishida yells in excitement after hearing the plan -"AND NOW THAT WE KNOW THE VOICE CHANGING THING FROM SHINSO, YOU GUYS ONLY NEED TO DEFEAT THE OTHER THREE WHILE I CRUSH HIM."

"I agree. But don't underestimate them too much."

Suddenly, Shishida sniffs intensely.

"What the?!"

"What's wrong?" Rin asks as he checks his gadget.

"FOUR ASUI IS HEADING THIS WAY."

"Shiozaki. Do it!" Six says.

"Let the little schemes lead you to a path of impurity..." Shiozaki then spreads her wine hair across the field -"Via Dolorosa."

"Give me their location, O Beast of the Apocalypse." Shiozaki says to Shishida.

"They spread across at 10, 12, and 2 o'clock! And all of them runs above ground and engaging." Shishida says with a bit of agony -"And stop calling me like that! My name is 'Gevaudan'."

"They are coming for the bait." Six says as she holds the tracker of Kaminari -"Alright! Let me get into position!"

Six then jumps to the pipes with it.

The present

"One has been captured." Shiozaki suddenly says as her vine hair pulls back intensely.

"We don't know who's coming. Back off! It may be Kaminari!" Rin shouts to his team as he withdraws, and so does Shishida.

"YUP! YOU'RE RIGHT! YOU GOT THE WRONG LOTTERY TICKET!" Kaminari appears while being tied with vine -"THREE OF YOU ARE HERE?! GO NUMB NICELY, WILL YOU!"

Sparks start appearing around Kaminari intensely.

"Crucifixion!" Shiozaki wraps Kaminari with her vine hair drastically, not letting him have a chance to fight back.

"Shield of Faith!" A vine wall appears in front of Shiozaki, protecting her from any electric current escape.

Such a flawless counter.

In the last moment before being captured, Kaminari points his hand at Shishida, to the tracker that he put on earlier.

And in a blink, lighting from his hand strikes away.

However, it doesn't go to strike Shishida with the heavy current but goes up.

"What?!" Kaminari is surprised.

On the pipes above, Six holds the tracker not with her gloves but with a dark claw. Dark mist swirls violently but in shape.

And the high voltage from Kaminari can't get through the claws, judging by Six not being zapped.

Meanwhile, at the observing bay

Mono: What?!

Wow! This chapter will start building up the relationship between Shichi and Mono. Other than that, there's also a peek into Shichi's relationship with Shinso.
