Ani's P.O.V.

It's been a year, an entire year, without seeing Ben.

I've in this cell the entire time, granted, I haven't been in here the complete year. I go to another room to shower once a week and I had a handful of times that I escape from this room. All those times though, I could never make it outside of the building before the workers here caught me. I will say they have changed my room each time I broke out of it, making it harder the next time I tried. They have made the walls force protected so I can't use the force on it; they permanently nailed the bed into the floor, there's a camera in the ceiling's corner and now I have to stand in the corner when my food's delivered to me. However, throughout all my breakouts and destruction in the building, I was not once harmed. Whenever I should and could've gotten hurt by the people in the building, I remember what Ben had said a year ago.

It angers me I'm still waiting on him for more than a year now. When I try to get any discussion or word out of the people watching me, I am left with nothing but glares. They have given me nothing to do, so I spent most of my days being one with the force. I do the best physical workout I can in this small room, but besides those two things, I'm not really able to do anything else. It has helped me master my mind with the force and to use it to sense everything around me in the building. I've tried playing mind tricks on the people who give me food and walk me to the shower, but they learned quickly to keep me from talking. At the moment, I'm laying on my bed with my eyes close, I'm surrounding myself with the force in hopes I can call out to any force users near me.

So far I feel little of the force of any kind, and it only makes me fear what Ben is doing with his time away from me in the past year. I know he's training with the force of the dark side, with all the time he has without me I know he can't be doing anything good. I feel an unbalance in the force from not hearing anything on the light side, but I might be somewhere too far away to hear. With my eyes still closed, I can sense someone walking down the hall toward my room at this very moment. I open my eyes and stand up immediately to go to the corner; I know they're coming for me. When I had escaped, I noticed my room, this the only one in this hall. I hear the locks shifting on the other side before the door opens up. Suddenly three men in black uniforms and helmets come in and surround me. I recognize from a year ago on the night I got taken here; I haven't seen them since that night, but I would never forget their appearances. Studying at them all suspiciously, I demand no one directly, "What's going on here?"

None of them answer, but the middle one raises a black fabric bag as the other two men walk toward me. Backing up closer to the corner, I know this couldn't be good at all.

~Seven months later~

I sat patiently on my bed, probably too patient if someone is watching me at the moment. I've been here for seven months though, so I have gotten comfortable with patience. Since they moved me to this room, I've been nothing but patient. The three men in black helmets spent a great deal on moving me from the last cell to this location. I know I'm on a different planet than the last room they have trapped me in. Even when the fabric that had covered my eyes the entire way here, I knew I had gotten on a ship in between rooms. Since my arrival to this new but same plain-looking room, I've done nothing but listen to their directions. In all honesty, that should have been their warning that I'm up to something, but no one has questioned my motives for being so cooperative. I'm glad they haven't because in my mind this will be my last plan to escape this place, I don't plan on getting caught so I've been taking my time in executing my plan.

Since being in this room, I have gotten no visitors such as Ben or the men in the black helmets. At this point I truly believe Ben won't be coming back for me, he's broken his promises and I have much doubt that the promise of keeping me safe will be broken soon too. The people who give me food and let me shower are now stormtroopers. It's one reason I've waited to escape, I fear if they catch me, their reactions will be worse than the other people were on the last planet. Since I've been in this cell, I can sense other prisoners around me, unlike in the room they kept me in before this. I have rehearsed my plan in my mind over and over in the past seven months, and I know this time will be different. This time I will have a distraction.

"Back away to the corner."

Someone calls out to me through the window on the door in front of my bed. I snap up and go to the corner without question, as I back into the corner wall I let the metal pole under the back of my shirt come free, but I still keep it hidden. I had broken it from my bed and used the force to pressure each end to make it sharp, it's supposed to be used to hold up the mattress from underneath. The door then disappears into the wall as two stormtroopers come in with guns in their hands. They are right on time for my weekly shower; they walk towards me to grab my arms to direct the way. Just as they lay their hands on me, I swing the metal bar at one of their heads.

I kick the other to the floor before stabbing the other in the neck where he has no armor cover. He falls to the floor as I pull the pole out of his neck, spinning around I lunge at the other one on the floor and stab him through his chest armor. The metal pole goes right through him from my force and the pressure I'm using. Letting go of the pole, I look around to make sure neither one is moving. Once I'm sure they're dead, I grab both of their blasters, a set of their keys, and coolly walk out of the room. I glance around the hall and see no other stormtroopers around. This causes me to smile to myself. Being an obedient prisoner all these months has paid off, no one has suspected a thing as they did on the last planet.

I casually walk past all the other doors in the hall until I reach the end of where the elevator is. I press the button for it to open but before I get in; I turn around and use the force to unlock all the other doors on this floor. They all make one loud sound together and immediately prisoners come out confused. A few inmates look toward me in worry, but all I do is get inside the elevator and use the key in my hand to authorize the elevator to close and go up. Just before it closes on me, I shoot the blaster as Han Solo taught me at an alarm on the wall. It goes off just as the elevator goes up. Sighing with a smile on my face, I wait patiently to get on the floor with their ships.

Over the months here, I could hear the stormtroopers talking about the level with tie fighters, so I know exactly where I want to go. I don't know how to drive one, but after Luke and Han teaching me how to drive their ships, I'm sure these will be easy enough. As soon as the elevator door slides open, I raise my blasters and start shooting. Stormtroopers are running fast toward me, but none of them get close without dying. Walking out of the elevator, I hear a siren going off in the building and know it's from me breaking out the other prisoners. I storm fast down the hall, straight to where the ships should be located, if my calculations are correct.

Once I'm at the end of the hall, I step through a door and look around to see a huge platform with tons of ships. Turning to the closest one, I break into a sprint toward it. Troopers are shooting in my direction but they miss me easily, I use force to push everyone out of my way. Halfway to the ship that I plan on stealing, a silver stormtrooper comes in between me and the ship. The armor looks stronger and more advance than the others, but that doesn't matter to me. All that matters is that the silver stormtrooper is between me and my ticket out of here.

"Anakia Kenobi." The Stormtrooper announces my name in a feminine voice, "What do you think you're doing?"

"What does it look like?" I speak up with a determined gaze, "I suggest you get out of my way."

"I can't allow that."

"I wasn't asking."

I smirk at her with a tilt of my head before I wave my hand at her to push her to the side. She ducks down missing my blow and rolls on the ground closer to me. I growl and continue to walk closer to the Stormtrooper; I use the basters to shoot at her, but she doughs them too. Realizing this Stormtrooper's trained differently than the rest I've killed, I grab her by the force and pull her to stand right in front of me. I raise my blaster right in front of her chest so she has to get hit, but before I pull the trigger she takes out two golden wires. She claps a golden bracelet on each of my wrists and they hook around my wrists as a bracelet would. I look at the ordinary bracelets in confusion; they don't hurt and look like plain jewelry. The stormtrooper jumps back away from me while I'm still focused on the bracelets. When I look back up at her and see her backing away I use the force to stop her from moving however, she doesn't stop in motion like planned.

My eyes go wide as I try again to hold her still by the force but she continues to move back away from me. I turn to look beside me and use the force to push away the other stormtroopers, but they're still running toward me. Panicking, I back up looking down at my wrists. I drop one of my blasters and use the hand to pull the golden bracelet off me, but it seems to be stuck into my skin almost like a marking now of some sort. Looking back up, I see the Silver Stormtrooper now walking toward me like the rest are. Lifting the blaster in a panic, I shoot at everyone around me, whatever these bracelets are they have stopped me from controlling the surrounding force through my hands. I back up when I become outnumbered by stormtroopers, a pair of hands grab me from behind. Before I can turn to shoot them down, they kick me in the legs, forcing me on my knees. One pulls the blaster out of my hand and pushes it against my head just as the Silver stormtrooper reaches me.

"Let's start over, shall we?" She speaks up as she stands right in front of my kneeling figure, "I'm Captain Phasma."

"I don't care." I glance up at her in disgust before shoving my way up to stand on my feet. The troopers behind me have a harsh grip on my arms, but I make them move so I can get closer to her and ask, "Where's Ben? Ben Solo?"

"Take her back to her cell," She ignores my answer and turns to the soldiers holding me in place, "Be sure she doesn't escape again-"

"Where is he!" I shout at the top of my lungs then, "I know you know where he is! I want to talk to him-"

"Be sure she doesn't get a meal for the next four days." The Captain adds to the stormtroopers without acknowledging a thing I said, "You're dismissed."

I kick her in the legs just as the stormtrooper pulls me away, my legs go flying at her and the men have to hold up to walk away. I'm struggling against their hands, but it's no use with the golden wristbands on. I don't know what they are, but I'm sure she knows my next plan is to take them off. It might take seven more months, but I will get the wristbands off and make her regret containing my power. My plan isn't supposed to end this way, I hadn't accounted for a stormtrooper like her and these wristbands. I know I won't be making the same mistake again. Watching her walk away from the hanger in the opposite direction, I promise myself to put her on top of my list to kill the next time I make my escape. As long as I'm in one of those cells all I will think or do is prepare for my next escape, I have nothing else better to do until Ben returns.
