Outside of a Dust shop, five men were approaching, four of them wearing all black suits, fedoras, red sunglasses and red ties. They also were each sporting a small metal rose made of silver on their lapels on their lapels. The fifth, however, had orange hair over to the right side of his green eye and wore a red-lined white suit with long black pants and black shoes. His accessories included a small gray scarf, black gloves with buckled sleeves, and a black bowler hat with a small feather tucked into its red band. He also had a lit cigar in his mouth and a cane in his hand. The five of them then walked into the Dust shop and up to the old shopkeep behind the register.

"Old man, do you have any idea how hard it is to find an open dust shop at this hour?" The man with the hat asked.

One of the guards aimed a gun at the shopkeep, who raised his hands. "Please, take my Lien and leave."

"We're not here for your money." The lead criminal assured him then looks at the guys with him. "You boys heard the boss. The Dust." He said and the thugs set to collecting the Dust. Some collected the powdered dust while others placed cases for the Dust crystals.

One of the thugs noticed a 17 year old girl with ashen black hair to her shoulders brushed to her left shoulder and a fair skin tone, wearing a dark red, no shoulder, v neck mini dress with yellow designs. There was a blue feather-like accessory on her right hip, at the top of an open portion of her dress. The dress ends in an upside-down triangular tail in the back, ending just above the knees. The sleeves ended in a triangle shape, which were wrapped or tied around her middle finger, with the gold designs of the sleeve taking over at the wrist. Though only partially visible, black shorts could be seen underneath her dress, as well as a black choker on her neck. She had a gold loop earring with a black gem dangling from it on her right ear. She had dark, heels and a jeweled anklet on her right leg. On her back were a pair of twin swords and a quiver of metal arrows. There was a diamond shaped opening in the back with a tattoo of what looked like shoes pressed sole to sole with a heart forming from the heels. She also had a pair of earbuds in her ears.

The thug sneered when he saw her then drew his sword and pointed it at her. "Hands where I can see them." He told her, but she didn't hear him so he walked to her and roughly turned her to look at him. He pointed at his ears and the girl took her earbuds out. She quickly took notice of the rose on his lapel.

"May I help you?" She asked.

"Yeah, by putting your hands in the air!" The thug said, clearly running low on patience already.

"...Am I...being robbed?" She asked.

"Yes!" He answered.

The girl nodded with an innocent smile on her face.

At the front, the man with the hat was admiring a red Dust crystal when the henchman talking to the girl was sent flying towards the front. The guy sent another henchman aimed a gun a her.

Outside the shop, the two flew through one of the shop's big windows. The guy in white and the other henchmen watched as the girl pulled out her swords. She turned to the men with a smirk as she pointed her swords at them.

"What do you boys think you get paid for?" The guy with the cane said. "Get her."

The remaining three thugs ran to her with their weapons out but she quickly took them down.

"You boys were truly worth every cent." The guy with the cigar said as he pulled said cigar out of his mouth and turned to the young girl. "Well, Crimson, I think we can agree that this evening was eventful. But this is where we part ways." He said and raised his cane, the bottom opening up to reveal it has a crosshair on it as he fired at her but she jumped up out of the way.

When she landed on her feet and looked up, the man was gone. She looked around and saw him climbing a ladder to the roof of the building said ladder was attached to.

She looked at the shopkeep. "Will you be okay if I chase him?" She asked.

With a positive response from him, she ran after the criminal. With help from an arrow and heating up the ground and jumping up before an explosion, the girl landed on the rooftop. "Hey!" She called.

The man stopped. "She's persistent. I'll give her that." He muttered as a Bullhead airship arrived and he got on then turned to the girl. "End of the line, Crimson!" He yelled to her and threw a red Dust crystal towards the girl then fired at it. An explosion occurred, but initially unbeknownst to the criminal, who let out a cheering whoop, the girl was saved by a blonde woman with glasses, a riding crop, and a purple cape.

This new fighter blasted at the Bullhead repeatedly while the guy with the hat made his way to the cockpit.

"Now, I'm really glad you were lent to me tonight. We got a Huntress here!" He told the pilot, who was wearing a red women's suit. The two swapped places as the Huntress created a storm cloud above the Bullhead and then caused large jagged hail pieces rained down on the airship, one of the narrowly missing the man flying.

The woman in the suit walked to the back with a red and yellow rifle in her hands then she fired at the two on the roof with explosive bullets. The Huntress gathered the rubble from the rounds into a large arrow and launched it at the ship. The green eyed woman fired at the arrow, but she did nothing to stop it as it simply reformed itself.

The man leaned the ship to protect it, but the Huntress turned the arrow into three smaller ones. The green eyed woman, who had an emblem of a spear laying across a shield on the back of her jacket and a brown circlet adorned with a pair of small, green, teardrop-shaped emeralds on thin chains underneath her red hair which was in a ponytail, threw a spare red Dust crystal out then fired at it, destroying the three arrows.

The young girl, who until now had been merely watching, combined her swords to form a now then fired six arrows at the ship, but the attacker deflected them with just her hand, her eyes glowing as she does. She then fired more explosive rounds behind them, causing the Huntress to move the girl and herself out of the way. When she looked up, the Bullhead was flying away.

The battle now over, the girl turned to the older woman. "You're a Huntress!" She said and looked a little excited. "This is amazing!"

The young teen was quickly having second thoughts, though, as they'd gone to an interrogation room and she looked down.

"Young lady, you do realize your actions tonight won't be taken lightly, correct? That was a dangerous thing you did, and not just to yourself." The woman scolded.

"But the Black Rose started it! They were robbing that poor old man of the Dust he was selling!" The girl quickly defended her actions.

"Were it my choice, you'd be headed home...patted on the back..."

The girl smiled before the woman fixed a glare at her.

"...and slapped on the wrist!" She hit the table with her riding crop and the girl quickly brought her own hands closer to herself. "But, someone wishes to speak to you."

In walked a man with grey hair, glasses, and a black and green suit. In his right hand was a cane while in his left hand were two mugs.

"Cinder Fall." The man said to her then the Huntress replayed footage of Cinder fighting the Black Rose goons. "Bold for one young girl to take on one of the most dangerous criminal organizations in all of Remnant. Where did you learn to use those swords of yours?"

"My first teacher was a Huntsman named Rhodes. He had twin blades that he gave me to practice with. Even after he was killed by Grimm, I kept practicing because I wanted to be as good with them as he was." Cinder replied. "But he wasn't my only teacher." She added as the man set one of the mugs in front of her.

She took a sip and found out it was tea.

"Yes, some of your fighting style is reminiscent of...a dusty old raven." The man said.

"My surrogate mother, Raven. She gave me a home and had someone teach me to use a bow. I don't mean to brag, but I'm very good in a fight."

The man chuckled softly. "So we noticed." He said and set his mug down. "Did you attend any academies designed to train warriors?"

Cinder shook her head. "No, but it hasn't stopped me from wanting to make a goal I've had for years into a reality."

"And what might that be, Miss Fall?" The man asked as he sat down across from Cinder.

"To be a Huntress."

"Oh?"

Cinder nodded. "Yes. I was forcefully kept as a housekeeper at the Glass Unicorn Hotel in Atlas. I was put through hell both by the woman who brought me there and her daughters. But it was there that I met Rhodes. He offered to train me and I accepted. And though it was difficult, I didn't do anything to the owner and her daughters, no matter how much they deserved it. I think I have Rhodes to thank for that. He not only taught me to fight, he taught me a better way to live. I left with him when I was fifteen but he died while I was in Anima. That's when Raven took me in and trained me.

It was a year ago that I forged my weapons, Midnight as I like to call them. Raven helped me get here to Vale so I could take the exam at Beacon Academy." Cinder said.

The two looked at each other before looking at Cinder.

"Do you know my name?" The man asked.

Cinder nodded. "Professor Ozpin. Headmaster of Beacon."

"And you wish to attend my school?" Ozpin asked.

Cinder nodded. "Absolutely."

Ozpin smiled. "I believe that can be arranged."

Cinder had a happy smile on her face.

Cinder looked around at the other first year students with her on the ship. "I can't believe it! It's finally happening!" She thought to herself. She then sat down to sharpen her swords with a whetstone she carried with her when a news report caught her attention.

"The leader of the robbery was identified as Black Rose member Roman Torchwick." Cinder looked up and saw a mugshot...of the criminal she'd fought the night before. "Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to inform the VPD."

The report soon showed a woman with lavender hair. "In other news, a Faunus protest turned violent as members of the White Fang appeared and attacked human fighting the protesters back. Although unconfirmed, many reported seeing White Fang high leader, Blake Belladonna, at the front of the White Fang attackers. Any and all attempts to capture the former Huntress have been unsuccessful. Therefore, citizens are advised to avoid this woman if you come across her." The woman said, showing a picture of a woman with black hair while wearing a black, buttoned vest with coattails and a single silver button on the front. Underneath this is a white, sleeveless, high necked, crop undershirt and white shorts with a zipper on the front of each leg, black low-heeled boots and full stockings with a color gradation of black to purple at her ankles, and a panther styled Grimm helmet hiding the malice in her eyes. On her head were two cat ears.

The news cut out entirely as a hologram of the Huntress Cinder had fought beside appeared.

"Welcome to Beacon. I am Glynda Goodwitch." She said. "You have the honor of attending this prestigious school. We are experiencing a great peace, and as the next generation of Huntsmen and Huntresses, it will be your job to uphold that peace. You have the necessary courage for this task. And we will give you the knowledge and training you need to protect this world."

Cinder looked out the window and looked down to the Kingdom. "Wow...Vale looks so beautiful from up here!" She thought to herself then looked to the front of the ship...and saw Beacon Academy. Now it was time for this brave young teen to begin the next step in her journey to becoming a Huntress.
