I'm gonna start leaving the Author's Note at the bottom. See there for my thoughts but be mindful of spoilers.

The group had taken to getting some sleep after their conquest of Maderas and his minions. It'd been an earned night of sleep so they slept well and satisfied, Etna especially.
So the following morning, when Naruto awoke, he got out of bed, took a shower, and did a few exercises in his room as usual.
"Mmm!" He grinned as he looked at his reflection, arms raised in satisfaction at how much stronger he felt compared to when he showed up back in the Netherworld. "Hmm, today, I wonder what'll happen."
He walked away with his eyes closed, never seeing the stringy fox-like tail he now had.
Looking at the time, he nodded at the 8 o'clock on the digital time-teller.
He left his room with his satchel in place.
Naruto traversed the halls at a casual place, passing the Maids and random Prinny with little attention paid to their eyes landing on his new tail.
"Hmm, Clarissa's training will be what I'll focus on today. If Etna's right, the broadcast will take tons of oversight and violence to keep right," Naruto thought with a nervous chuckle. "I think I'm getting worse at dealing with violence," he realized with a nervous chuckle.
He guessed it had to do with originally being a Demon Prinny.
Making it to the central hub of the castle, he saw Big Sis, Kirke, chatting with Clarissa on a pair of lunch tables by the item store, a set of balanced breakfasts in front of both.
"What's up, guys?" Naruto asked as he came up to the women, both nodding to him.
"Good morning, Naruto," Kirke greeted back.
"How are you this morning, Naruto?" Clarissa asked as the white Prinny hopped up onto the seat next to her. "...?!" Green eyes sprung open as he took his seat, the Lady Samurai at the item shop's front grinning before leaning forward in confusion. "N-Naruto, I didn't know you had a tail?"
"... What?" Naruto blinked before looking behind himself. "... W-What the?! Since when the hell did I have a tail?!" He shouted, hopping down and looking backward. "Mmmm! Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!"
A clone popped into existence and the original Prinny went around him to observe his tail.
"... Dude! The least it could have been was fluffy!" He whined, dispelling the copy before groaning. "What the hell is this about, anyway?"
"Hmmm, perhaps you need to check your Status screen or Skills section?" Clarissa offered as the Prinny tilted his head.
"I mean… I guess," he said with a shrug before opening up said screens. "Now, let's see…"

"Hold on… Celestial Beast?" He noted. "T-That's my new class? Wait, how?! Even my Aptitudes changed!"
"Celestial Beast?" Kirke blinked before Naruto sent her an 'invite' to his screen. "Hmm, let's see…?" She blinked. "What of your stats, Naruto?"
"Those haven't changed," Naruto explained.
"So this is some form of automatic Class Level-Up?" Clarissa asked. "That sounds so convenient. We should honestly see about applying that to our normal system."
"So it's just like a normal class change… But," Kirke blinked, tapping her chin with her flipper. "Class changes don't usually come with this new addition. It's only screen-deep. You get the chance to switch to a whole new color palette but that's only in color… Naruto, do you have an Evility or Authority, for Angels, right? I've been curious about this for a while now."
"Let me check," Naruto did as asked, looking at his Class Page. "... Well that's new."

"Hmm, how interesting," Clarissa thought after Naruto sent her a Screen Invite. "So you have the ability to alter your form? Does your Skill section tell you anything?"
Naruto checked and blinked at the Skills section. "... Whoa…"

'Huh, so I get this 'Werefox' class thing… Wait, isn't that the fox goddess thing?' Naruto thought before humming. "... Well, when in doubt," he breathed in and his eyes widened.
The breath of life filled his entire being as he pulled on his magical energy and enacted the skill.
"Transformation: Werefox!"
The penguin demon was enclosed by a golden orb of light, the sounds of running steps impeding on the room as Laharl, Flonne, and Etna made it to the hub in time.
"The hell's going on?!" Came the demon prince's shout as he covered his eyes with his arms. "W-What!?"
The orb of light stopped shining before floating above the floor and depositing a set of limbs.
A long pair of fox legs came out before a set of arms, the hands a mix between those of a fox and human's, as a trio of long, thick, tails waved behind him.
The body was lithe and average, with his forearms and hands being bigger than his biceps, in height as a fox's head came out.
His fur was bright yellow in color with tails tipped with black along with his hands. Around his closed eyes were black before bright blue eyes snapped open.
A pair of orange pants found themselves on his legs, the pants' legs covered in curling black seal patterns.
Naruto breathed out and hiss left his mouth as he looked at his hands with surprise.
"D-Damn, I actually became a fox?!" He realized with shock as his mouth dropped and ran off. "I need a mirror!"
The blonde disappeared in a second, an explosion of air rocking the hub's ears as he disappeared, a crater where he'd been a moment ago.
Laharl balked as the air ruffled his hair. "Wait, that was Naruto?!" he shouted at Kirke and Clarissa.
The red Prinny blinked before crossing her flippers and nodding. "It seems so," she answered his question as the three just stood there stunned. "He got a new class and one of these 'Evility' things, as well. It's rather curious."
Flonne's eyes shined. "He's so FLUFFY!" She cheered. "I wanna hug one of them!"
Laharl raised a brow as he replayed the image in his head before grinning. "Think he could get bigger? A demon army needs the large demon that makes people tremble in fear before the Commander!"
Clarissa and Etna, on the other hand, were stunned at just how pretty he was.
Etna blushed as she looked off to the side. "S-Stupid Prinny…" She grumbled with a raised fist and a sneer.
The Cleric, on the other hand, pressed her hands together.
'Oh, Lord, please, forgive my mind for its actions,' Clarissa thought as red covered her entire face. 'H-He's only 18!'
Life had become interesting, it seemed.
"Huh, I look like Kurama!" Came the now-blonde fox demon's voice as he ran back into the room, a grin on his face before he skid to a halt by the Rose Co. Equipment shop, Nakano the Warrior chuckled. "Nakano, you got anything that can give me a sick fit?"
"Hmmm, actually, I've been working on something with a friend of mine from across the Netherworld," the man said, his red headband, bare chest, and brown cargos shifting as he cupped his chin. "He's a Samurai who's basing a line of high-tier clothing on some and the brother of Kana over there," he pointed at the Female Samurai manning the Rose Co. Item Shop. "Kana, is your brother quick on custom orders?"
"He is but it's delivery that you need to work with," she said, her red hakama and white kimono top, opened to reveal her bandage-wrapped chest, moving as she cocked a hip, black hair falling in a long ponytail down the back of her head. "As he said, that's across the Netherworld. We're talking, a good few continents. It'd take close to a week, basically. Though, he can also make some size-changing ones for you."
"He sounds like my kind of guy," Naruto said as she considered him. "What?"
"... Hmm, Naruto, can I see some of your fur, I'm curious about something," Kana asked as he scratched his cheek.
Snipping off some on his tails, Flonne shrieking as she gripped one for dear life, much to his, Laharl, and Etna's amusement, he handed it to the Level 400 Lady Samurai.
"Mmm, that's some tough material," she considered it. "Favor, can back and forth, please."
Naruto shrugged before doing as suggested, holding Flonne up as he changed to Prinny form.
The fur stayed, getting a grin from the Lady Samurai.
"You can turn back now," Naruto did as suggested, holding Flonne on his shoulders. "I'd suggest making some clothing from your fur. Actually… I could make a deal with you. If you donate some of your fur on occasion, I could even help you when it comes to the order cost."
"Hah?" Laharl was confused as he sat down on Naruto's other shoulder, Flonne on the other. "How expensive could it actually be?"
"Well, his rates are typically pretty high, he's well-known," Kana said with a sweatdrop. "Add on the size-changing, distance, custom measurements, having to dye the clothes because all that yellow is not a good look," she shot Naruto a look as Kirke and Etna nodded. "And you're looking at a custom order of, say, four pairs of tops and pants being about 600 to 700 thousand HL," she Kana explained with a cough into her fist at everyone's dropped mouths.
"W-Who in the world?!" Laharl looked deeply offended. "W-Why the hell is it so expensive?!"
"If you can donate enough of your fur for the materials, you can cut that price down by a third since most of that comes from materials," Kana quickly added. "Naruto's fur is already pretty elastic," she demonstrated with the fur she had. "So that could make it easier, cutting it down by close to a four-tenths of the price."
"S-So, that's w-what?" Naruto asked with a swallow.
"... It'd be close to about 400 thousand HL, Naruto," Kirke explained with a grimace. "That's still pricey, though."
"Well, usually, the clothes are strong, capable of Holding the most capable of armors."
Ah, yes, the ability of clothes to 'Hold' objects. It made life for people who cared for fashion, and fought a lot, so much better.
It allowed you to increase your defenses depending on how high-quality they were with high-ranked armors, shoes, and accessories. There was no such thing for weapons but the clothes allowed you to also Hold whatever weapon you were using at the moment.
"Alright… I'll buy them… When I have the money."
"Hmm, do you want to donate any of your fur today?" She asked with a grin and a set of shears in her hand.
"W-Where did you…" Naruto swallowed before slumping. "Don't take off too much, please."
About thirty minutes later, Naruto came out of a room in Prinny form, red in the face.
"I-I don't want to talk about it," he said to the group as two groups of Prinnies brought out his cut-off fur in two large wheelbarrows. "I… I…" Naruto had no words and just covered his face in his flippers as Kana came out with a grin on her face.
"For that, me and Nakano will lower your rates by 20%," she said with a smile as Laharl considered this.
"Hmmm, cheaper overall gear, huh?" Laharl considered as Naruto began sweating. "Hmm, hm, hm, hm, mwahahahahahaha! You continue to be my greatest vassal, Naruto!"
"I don't want to be this useful, dood!"
Thirty minutes later and the blonde was given some stop-gap clothes for his fox form. Kana even told him that these were older ones that one of the three top vassals of King Krichevskoy used to wear.
A set of bandages were over his flippers while, around his neck, he had a long bunched-up scarf that covered his beak and a thin dark red vest.
The Prinny blinked at his clothes before transforming with far less fanfare than his first one, his werefox form grinning as it all fit perfectly.
"Nice!" The shop woman threw him a thumbs-up. "I'm glad they fit, Garungun, a genie demon, used to wear those back in our King's old conquering days."
"Hmph," Naruto nodded, looking at his paws before he caught a large necklace accessory. "Did he wear this too?"
"Nah," Nakano said with a grin. "That just fits with the kitsune-like aesthetic and it's a gift. That's an old Uncommon Orb, it boosts your stamina."
"Hmmm, thanks," the fox said with a nod before turning to the others. "I'm ready for anything."
"Hmph, you know the situation with Maderas so we should probably work on looking for those Evility things. Hell, I wonder if I have one, actually."
"... Now that I think about it," Naruto reached into his Skills list before narrowing his eyes on the description. "..."
Soul-Searching Tags - Push in your energy and these babies will find what you seek but, be warned, soul-searching goes both ways!
"... What the hell does that mean?" Etna asked with crossed arms and a huffy pout. "What, they can see your Evility?"
"... No… It may mean the opposite," Clarissa realized with a grimace. "It may mean that they can find their Evility as well."
"... Oh…" Naruto rubbed the back of his head. "I see where this is going… Kind of. We still don't know how these things work," he said as he pulled out the tags.
They were gold in color… Like, literal gold. At the top of each bore his family symbol, the Uzumaki symbol, the self-contained swirl.
"... Ya know, those look pretty expensive," Etna said with a sly grin as Naruto's expression flattened. "Come on! Think about it!"
"Oi! I don't want people buying my power!"
"You used to be a ninja, that's all that happens!"
"Gruk!" Naruto choked at the comeback. "E-Even if that was true, we've got more important things to worry about!" He shot back with a pout. "Let's see how this works, you ready, Laharl-sama?"
"Literally lay it on me."
He applied the item to Laharl's chest and everyone blinked as a string of light shot from the demon prince to the celestial fox.
Both participants blinked before Naruto closed his eyes and brought his hands together in a prayer fashion.
Orange shot down the string to Laharl's chest and the prince's eyes fluttered closed, his chest turning bright red.
Both fox and demon prince blinked as they looked at one another.
"Huh… So what's this all about?" Laharl asked as he saw a glowing ball of red between himself and Naruto, the ball of energy about the size of his head. "This is it?" He looked annoyed. "Dude, that's so lame!"
Naruto chuckled before he touched the ball and Laharl jumped.
"Oh, sorry," Naruto said. "... okay, so that's what it is," he said as information was beamed into his head. "Your ability is that the more people you defeat, in a battle, you get stronger for it. That's pretty strong!"
Laharl blinked at that, reaching out for the ball and holding it before it slowly sank into his chest.
"..." He looked at his hands, flexing them a bit here and there.
EVILITY UNLOCKED.
Both jumped at the notification, heads snapping between them to see the text.
"So we've had it all this time?"
"It seems so," Naruto said with a raised brow. "Though, I'm worried… If whoever I use this on, can find out their ability before we can deal with this… That must mean we'll need this for the road ahead. Especially since we've fought one of the Senators already."
"Hmph."
The connection stopped as both males opened their eyes.
"Okay, so that's how this works?" Naruto asked himself as he crossed his arms, bandages skirting against his chest on his wrists. "I think I get it, Laharl?"
"... Whoa," Laharl checked his screen and grinned. "Yup, there it is, Prince's Dignity is the name of it…?" He frowned when he saw something… greyed out. "... What the… 'Overload'?"
"Huh?" Naruto blinked before accepting the Screen Invite. "... What the hell does that mean?"
"I don't know-hold on," he looked further to the right of the word. "It's got a level cap on it… 5000?!"
"Huh, I… I didn't know about this," Naruto said before opening up his own menu to see…?! "W-What?! I-I got it, too!"
He sent out his screen to the girls and they all looked at it.
"... Ohhh," Kirke said, confusing the group. "You all weren't around for that, ya see, Overload Skills used to be a thing over a thousand years or so ago. Our King told me once that it used to be a skill that was available to all kinds of Overlords."
"Actually, about that…" Clarissa asked with a tilt of the head. "Baal and our Liege are Overlords, with the former being titled the Lord of Overlords… How many Overlords are there?"
"... Many," came a voice from behind the group, the six turning to see the Dark Assembly attendant walking up to them. "There are infinite amounts of Dark Assembly attendants for high-ranking demons and Overlords that span the universe. This Netherworld is simply one of many in the cosmos."
"Wait, what?" Laharl flinched back at the thought. "T-There are other Netherworlds?!"
"Yes," the girl said with a nod. "Senator Magnum was from another Netherworld."
"No way…" Naruto gawked. "W-Wait, how strong is this guy?"
"... He is the strongest Senator under our King," she explained with a resolute frown. "He remains one of the few demons to have ever reached Level 10000 along with Overlord Baal before he reincarnated 500 years ago."
The group, including the merchants, gaped in shock.
"That's crazy!" Nakano cried out as Kana paled. "... Wait, so what's stopping this guy from beating Baal?"
"... Yeah, you said he's one of," Etna added on. "Why'd this guy not help?"
"Because I said Baal reached level 10000 not that he was just level 10000," the blue-haired one said as many of the group paled. "Overlord Krichevskoy fought the copy that came to our Netherworld… A copy. Overlord Baal's presence is more than just as a single being, he's ascended beyond understanding to the point that he resides across space and time. The one whom our King sealed away was merely the shade sent here, to this collective side of the universe."
"... H-Huh?!" Flonne swallowed as Clarissa trembled a bit. "I-I don't understand, how has he not taken over the universe already, then?"
"I do not know, likely, there have been others who also sealed him away like King Krichevskoy," the attendant shrugged. "I imagine with so many shades sent out, Baal doesn't check on all of them. His existence is one that automatically tries to consume, he likely does it with no more knowledge than knowing how his blood flows."
"... Fuck," Etna grimaced. "And the King seriously sealed him? Or, whatever, his copy?"
"Yes. But that seal is not perfect," the girl said with a frown. "I… The King gave me the sealing formula on the odd chance that he failed… And, after looking at it, I don't think it's possible for it to hold. Not this version of it," she said before coming up to Naruto with a scroll in hand, taking one of his paws and placing it in his hand. "... But you, who seems to hold sealing knowledge, perhaps you can finish it?"
Naruto finally observed this girl, their Dark Assembly attendant.
Her clothes were white with red accents, her shoes being white with red accents and soles while her legs were covered in thigh-high socks.
Her body was covered by a white dress that stopped at her thighs and left her shoulders bare, the sleeves coming down to her wrist, with the cuffs and hem all red.
Her skin was slightly pale and her eyes red. The attendant's hair was blue, not unlike Laharls, and long, falling to just below her shoulders with a red hairband in the middle of it with her bangs almost always covering one of her eyes.
"... Plenair, right?" Naruto asked and she looked surprised as he grinned. "I've heard the Boss speak to you before, it's a nice name."
Etna's eyebrow twitched as she saw the girl blush a bit, looking away and releasing his hand.
"... Hm," she didn't say anything but a commital sound, nodding. "Yes."
Naruto nodded before opening up the scroll and looking at the seal within. "Oh, this isn't a Skill but an actual seal. Damn, the boss is pretty good," he said as Plenair nodded.
"That's the ones his wife worked on with him before she passed," Kirke froze. "He kept on working on it but it's not enough. It needs to be finished, somehow."
Naruto considered it, reading the words. "... Hmm?" His eyes widened as he saw some of the words. "Wait… Dude, I think this is one of the things I'll need to help the boss," Naruto said to her as the entire group's eyes widened. "It says that, with demonic energy, it can make a true physical seal but there's not a strong enough influence to break down Baal's power," the fox read off the document.
"If I had something that, Satan forbid, harmed demons at a spiritual level, I might be able to use it but I can't. Not all that angels are that kind and, I'm sure, those that would help against this threat wouldn't be able to last in the Netherworld long enough to see the seal to completion."
"T-Then you can complete it?" Clarissa asked, hopefully.
"Maybe, yeah," Naruto said as he looked at the half-done sealing array. "The issues come from the fact that I have to find the correct sealing lines, I think. You can't just mash seals together, it'll end badly."
"So how would you do that?" Laharl asked. "Can your Seal Tags tell us anything?"
Naruto considered, laying the scroll down on the table, completely open, before bringing out a tag.
He laid it down by the illustration before looking between the two.
"... They're so different," Flonne realized with a grimace. "Demon seals use so many jagged edges and spikes. Yours looks so much more shapely."
It was true, while his tag's writing was full of perfect, non-jutting, angles the Boss's seal was full of all forms of spires, crosses, and broken points.
They were so different…?
Naruto leaned down in confusion before he brought his hand forward to a jagged point and making a soft curve from a spire's end all the way around in a perfect arc to another, eyes flickering to his tag before his mind remembered his old seal.
He made the complete circuit around the entire thing and the illustration… became less transparent?
"What the?" Laharl stared in confusion. "Naruto?"
The blonde's eyes blinked as he considered it. "... Okay… So I might have an idea but I know it won't be enough," Naruto said. "This is Fuinjutsu, sealing arts, it's what I think my tags are also based off of. I… I wasn't exactly a seal master but my old master… He tried to teach me and one of the first things was the circle."
"The circle?" Plenair asked with hope. "I don't understand."
"In the very basics of sealing, a circle is where it all starts," Naruto said. "Circles are in every form of sealing even if it's not obvious. It's kind of like a representation of a cycle, rebirth, death and life, yin-yang, it all comes back around because that's nature. I was told to also use my human side to help the Boss, this might also require that. Power from all three realms."
"Whoa…" Etna said with awe. "... So, how does this help the King?"
"I'm a sage and not the class," Naruto explained. "I can pull in the Natural Energy of the world around us to raise my stats… literally and, maybe, literally if it's true?" The Werefox shrugged.
"Hmph," Plenair considered him for a moment. "... Should you get five of the Senator's agreement, I will allow for 'Pseudo-Overlord' status," she compromised after some thought, a blush on her face.
"... Naruto, you really are my best vassal," Laharl said with shock as Naruto chuckled a bit.
"So… Who do you guys think we should go after, next, then?" He asked as he adjusted his now-larger satchel from his back, bringing out their list of Senators. "Huffy's already said she's… hehe, annoyed so that well is not giving us water," he said nervously.
"Hmph," Clarissa frowned. "What a rather annoying woman."
Etna rolled her eyes before looking over the list. "... With how difficult Maderas was… I think we need to seriously focus on leveling up," she said with a grimace as she looked at Laharl's frown. "Prince, what level are you?"
"217," Laharl answered, shocking Etna with a smirk. "Of course, I'll be damned if I'm not one of the strongest demons in my own home."
"Hmph… Alright, so we need to go and train hard," Etna said with a kiss of the teeth. "Remember, guys, Maderas was over level 500 and he wasn't even one of the King's toughest vassals. Rainer, Grosso, Garungun, and two others were over four times his level and everyone knew that. Whoever comes might be some tough bastards."
The group winced in unison, knowing she was right.
"Well, the best weapons we have are about fitting for level 200," Nakano explained. "When it comes to getting stronger ones, your best bet is going through the Item World due to those items having inherited extra bonuses and rarities."
"Hmph… It's true," Laharl grumbled as he brought out his sword. "The old man gave me my sword for my birthday and it's stronger than anything in the shop on most days."
"We can look for weapons online," Kana said. "But people who'd part with powerful weapons aren't exactly gonna let go without taking your damn teeth with them."
"... Wait, so we could sell weapons for money?" Flonne asked. "T-Then we could afford new, better, clothes?"
"... Yep," Nakano nodded with a grin. "That said, you're gonna need some good stuff. Most demons, outside of those below the age of 500, are well past level 100." Clarissa burned bright red. "You'll either need to get lots of good rarity weapons or sell tons of weapons at the online auctions."
"Well, at least we have a way of making money," Naruto agreed with a nod. "So, we're in agreement, right? To the Item World?"
"Yes."
"Come," Plenair led the group to the large teal machine with a mailbox-like attachment at the side. "Present the item you'll all be diving into."
"So, before we go in, we should probably have some goals, yeah?" Came Laharl's question, the group nodding. "Besides, say, an Astral Orb, a higher-level item we'll be trying for."
"Well, for one, we totally need to get better weapons," Etna said as she brought out her gun and spear. "This gun's a Bugle M13, that's pretty good for that hussy of a team member so I'll need a new spear."
"I'd like a new staff and bow," Clarissa admitted with a blush. "My weapons are completely outdated."
"And no one's surprised," came Etna's jab.
"Hmmm," Naruto ignored Etna's jab to retrieve his weapons from his satchel. "... Huh, they grew with the transformation," Naruto shrugged at his blades. "As nice as these are, I'm definitely holding onto them, I also need new weapons. A pair of daggers and, for a second one… a staff."
"You wish to learn magic, Naruto?" Kirke asked with interest. "I mean, you do have Wind spells."
"Well, it's that and I have crap for aptitudes in Spears," Naruto admitted with a nervous laugh as Etna snickered. "I figure a staff with some ATK Innocents would be a good idea to go with my style and give me more options."
"I-I need new ones, too," Flonne said with a raised hand. "A-As for a second weapon… I wouldn't mind a good accessory for stamina."
"M-Me too," Clarissa added on with nervous energy.
"Hmph, I'm gonna need a sword and an ax," Laharl said with a nod. "Kirke?"
"INT Monster weapons are my main weapon but… I'd also like a staff," the red Prinny said. "While my range with monster weapons is good and the power is greater, staffs have better ranges for the power payoff."
"Hmph, so we're looking for everything but Fist weapons?"
"Hey, I won't say no to a Fist weapon," Naruto said.
"Alright, then everything is a good shot," Laharl said before handing his weapon to Plenair. "Let's do this shit."
The machine glowed bright blue as Laharl placed his weapon inside, his Parazonium with a [Legendary] rarity on it with Gladiator Innocents inside all eight slots.
"Hmmm, the worlds you'll be visiting will be around level 200 from the beginning," Plenair said as Flonne laughed nervously before swallowing.
"I-I'm only level 122," the angel trainee said with a nervous tremble before Naruto pat her head, and ribbon, down. "?"
"It's fine, I've only ever been in the Item World, like, two times but it's not that crazy. While the number of guys we've got to beat can vary, it's manageable as long as we can deal with 'em one at a time."
"Y-You sure?"
"Yeah, besides," Naruto made the cross sign before a copy appeared next to him, surprising those not in the know. "I've got tons of back-up for us."
"... I-I guess!" Flonne said as she hopped onto his less, but still thick, fluffy tails. "I-I'm ready!"
"I think she's found her new favorite place," came Clarissa's words, her smile telling.
"Heh, I can see," Naruto said before the machine in front of them spat out a swirling portal of its own color. "Let's do this!"
~NRK~
When the group came through, it was to a wasteland-like world that had a limit on their sight.
They looked about before, on the horizon, Naruto could see several roaming people, a random assortment of people and monsters that he noted the levels of from far away with a nod.
"Yup, those guys are level 201," the vulpine man told the group. "A Succubus, Shark-Dragon, Warrior, Kunoichi, and Wolf. That's scarily well-rounded."
"Are they together?" Laharl asked as he landed on Naruto's shoulder, looking onto the horizon. "Hmph, only two of them are together, the Succubus and Warrior… Thank the nine rings that these are all just puppets."
The Item World couldn't just call on so many demons and, so, it made puppets of random people and monsters, their levels adjusted and the like. Though, since it could randomly create objects, it also made real weapons that had randomness to them.
"Hmph, so it's only five of them?" Etna asked as she removed her gun from her clothes. "Sounds simple. I'm a pretty good crack shot, let's find the single ones."
"Nah," Laharl grinned as he jumped off Naruto before brandishing a Bewitched Ax, the weapon glowing as he shot off. "I'm gonna go after those two!"
Naruto chuckled nervously as Flonne hugged him from behind, head peeking around his side.
"W-What should we do?" She asked the blonde fox who cupped his chin as Laharl reached their mile-away opponents, the two puppets contending with the demon prince. "Come on, let's go find that Kunoichi, it's better to make sure she doesn't sneak up on us."
They traversed the sands, hearing Laharl unleash his attacks on the puppets in the distance.
"I see her," Naruto said as he leaned down against a dune with the others, the group peeking over the hill to see the female ninja.
Most Kunoichi wore the stereotypical ninja outfit with the upper part of their heads uncovered. She wore tabi socks and zori shoes on her feet, dark purple pants, and a tucked-in shitagi with the cuffs tied down to her wrists. The lower half of her face was covered by a similarly-colored face mask that reminded him of Kakashi.
Her skin was pale and her hair black while being set in a spiky ponytail, her eyes purple.
"Alright, this is the perfect match," Etna said with a grin. "I'm level 130, as a main character, I had higher stats than normal so…" She took aim.
Naruto urged Flonne off his tails before getting into a sprinter's starting position.
Etna shot her gun and Naruto exploded from his position, sand and earth exploding up in a spiral of air.
The Kunoichi was sent off her feet by the shot, the floor cratering around her before she was tackled by the blonde fox, two tags slapped onto her body.
The puppet was dragged in his charge before Naruto kicked her up.
The werefox vanished from his spot before appearing behind the puppet, arms tightening around her body as they fell from their three-story height.
"Omote Renge!" (Primary Lotus)
He spun the two of them as they fell, their rotation speed making them look like a swirling bullet before Naruto's form slipped out and the Kunoichi's crashed into the floor with a wide cloud of smoke.
Flonne jumped as the area rumbled before the hissing of the crater was all that remained.
Flonne blinked as she heard several little jiggles from her mind, she blinked as she leveled up.
When the smoke cleared, the Kunoichi disappeared in a burst of light motes.
Naruto stretched his back as he heard two sounds of EXP. "Alright, let's keep on-"
The group blinked at another group-wide set of level-ups as laughter echoed in the distance.
Etna snorted as Naruto laughed.
Whelp, this wasn't going so bad.
~NRK~
Three floors later and Naruto nodded at the ten enemies in the distance.
Now level 64, he felt his body getting faster, more nimble, and far more powerful.
Clarissa had informed him that she'd reached level 102 while Kirke was level 126, Flonne was level 134, and Etna was level 143.
Laharl hadn't gone up that many levels but was now level 221.
Before them stood ten warriors in a block formation, standing at the ready to face their entrance.
"Level 222," Laharl noted, the group, overall, wincing. "Buuutttt… They're all together." The prince grinned.
"Hmmm," Naruto turned to Etna. "Etna, you could hit over half, right?"
"Asteroid Drop isn't that big, on impact, but it's certainly enough to hit at least five of these guys," the redhead said as she hefted a new spear over her shoulder, her new Orcish Spear. "I'm ready for whatever."
Naruto nodded as he wielded his newest power, the Gremlin effect had been the name, while he had a staff in one hand, Emerald Cane.
Flonne and Clarissa had their own at the ready as well while Kirke held a Medal of Surprise monster weapon.
"Alright," Naruto nodded before he, Flonne, Kirke, and Clarissa began casting.
Invigorate
Braveheart
Magic Boost
Shield
Target
The five buffs were cast across their group in a small area, thankfully each of the members had the ability to do so at such a range with Naruto barely getting enough skill at the buffs to do so.
When their miniature light show ended, Laharl nodded before Naruto crossed his fingers from each hand.
"Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!"
Ten copies poofed into existence, each saluting the group before circling around.
"Alright, ready your Skills," Laharl ordered as he allowed his clothing to Hold his weapon before he grinned, hands becoming engulfed in orange and yellow light. "We're going in to take out as many as possible off rip!"
Flonne smiled at Clarissa and Kirke before the two nodded, the three of them being carried off by a trio of Naruto clones to the top of the metal structures around them.
Etna grinned as her spear glowed bright yellow as Naruto readied his Mega Wind spell.
He 'charged' it up, each of his tails glowing light green in a couple seconds before he nodded.
They jumped over the hill of metal blocks that had been in front of their group before running towards the group of still oblivious puppets.
When they were thirty meters away, their plan went into action as the Naruto clones appeared above the group of ten, hands out.
"Rasengan!" The group of clones called out before explosions of gold lit up the enemies.
Around the explosion, three Mega Star magic circles formed, the purple circles rotating before they both contained the explosion before slamming beams of light into the attack.
The three melee attackers jumped high into the sky.
"Spiral Wind Cannon!" Naruto shouted as the green in his tails curled into a ball in front of his staff before exploding outward.
Etna used his back to jump higher, above the explosion of lights before she wrapped herself around her spear.
"Asteroid Drop!" She plunged.
Laharl's hands spread out as large balls of destructive energy appeared from the sky.
"Overlord's Wrath!" He screamed before throwing his hands down, the attacks following.
Etna slammed down on the explosive barriers of magic circles before jumping away as Naruto and Laharl's attacks slammed into the explosion of damage.
The circles couldn't contain what happened and it exploded into a tower of white light, several rings climbing to the peak.
Naruto nodded as he climbed to level 67, Etna grinning as she looked at her stats.
"Very nice," she said with a smirk as she closed her screen. "So, we're, what, five floors in? How's the stash looking, fox?"
"This close," Naruto said with a roll of the eyes as the 'COMPLETE' words hung in the air as his 'courier' copies brought their spellcasters down to their level before disappearing. "I'm checking the loot!" He told the others, looking into their Item Bag.
Item Bags were useful for passively collecting the loot dropped by the enemies or levels in the Item World. It helped simplify the process by sending it all to this one bag that he'd been designated the carrier of.
"Now, let's see," Naruto looked through all the different items of the endlessly large bag. "Let's see, some of that high-grade chocolate-"
"Me please!" Flonne asked excitedly as he chuckled and gave it to her. "Yes!"
He rolled his eyes before throwing one at Laharl, the boy hiding his grin as he, too, ate it with gusto.
"Opera Glasses," he passed those to Kirke who nodded in thanks, replacing her current hit-increasing pair before putting that in the bag. "Hmph… Ah, Earthen Hunter-"
"That's a bow, correct?" Clarissa asked, the now level 109 Cleric looking eager as he snickered before nodding and passing it her way. "My gratitudes, Naruto."
"No problem, next, another Gremlin Effect, annoying and it has no good Innocents on it," the Werefox said with a sigh as Laharl huffed.
"If we could use an Innocent Farm, that'd be useful but we need the Dark Assembly, again."
"Hmph," Naruto nodded. "Mmm, old sword, old staff, o-?!" His eyes widened before he laughed. "Holy crap, guys, we've got an Astral Orb!"
"Really?!"
"Yup," Naruto grinned as he took out a pendant with a black orb.
The orb's confines contained a yellow star with a white ring around it. The accessory seemed to glow a bright green color, doubling their attention.
"It's also [Rare]!" Naruto realized with a gasp. "Damn, maybe this will make Senator Avarice way easier to deal with?"
"Hmph, what's left?" Etna asked.
"Oh, it's a pair of Power Suit armors," he realized with an appreciative whistle. "I'm of the mind we should give these to Clarissa and Flonne, they have the lowest Defense stats."
"Eh," Laharl shrugged. "I don't got a problem with that."
"It's whatever," Etna said. "I've got high DEF scores, anyway."
"Ladies," Naruto offered the armors to their weakest-in-defense companions. "Good, now, should we leave now or finish up the rest of the ten levels?"
"Hmph, might as well, it'll be good to have more Gency's Exits," Laharl said with a nod.
"Alright, five more floors to go, guys."
~NRK~
They finished fighting the Item General before leaving far stronger than they had at the middle of the ten floors.
Naruto grinned at his level 77 status before humming at the changes on his screen.

"Heh," Naruto nodded at his stats as they returned from the Item World before looking at Clarissa, the now level 125 Cleric smiling in triumph. "Something good?"
"W-Well," Clarissa blushed a bit. "You know how Class changes work, right?"
"Isn't it, like, getting to level 150 and having a good amount of skill in the weapons, right?"
"Yes!" Clarissa smiled and he chuckled. "Once you've gotten to such a level, along with bolstering your proficiencies, you can choose from an array of classes… Oh, dear," she grimaced and he raised a brow before facepalming.
"Right, that needs the Dark Assembly, does it?"
"Haa, yes, it does," the Cleric said with a small smile. "That said, it's not like we're not making good progress. It's only been four days since you returned. Not only have we gotten two Senators' approval, but we also have a third one on the way. Add in that if we keep diving, we may find a Salamander's Breath. If we keep at this pace, we should solve the Dark Assembly issue, at least."
"Heh, I'm glad you're all for this," Naruto said before he saw his form glowing. "... Oh, this is-" the blonde fox puffed into smoke before his Prinny form reappeared. "The time limit. Huh," the now-penguin demon crossed his flippers in thought, tapping his chin. "I'm curious."
He opened his menu before looking at his Skills.
Transformation

Celestial Prinny (Default)

"Huh, so Transformation has a cooldown for each different thing I can transform into?" Naruto asked more than said to Clarissa who tilted her head.
"Well, it did say that it was for a time," she said with a nod. "... And there are three others, right?"
"Yeah but I can't use 'em yet, dood," Naruto explained with a sigh and then a shrug. "It's whatever, an hour is literally nothing in the time we have. Besides, I'm getting close to the next level in the Skill, maybe it'll lower the timer? I wonder if I'll be able to switch between them on the fly if I max it out?"
Clarissa smiled. "In most cases, it does increase the efficiency of the technique," she said before humming. "I do wonder what the other three will be?"
"Hmph, well, it changed me to the Celestial Beast class, maybe it'll be more animal ones," Naruto said as the two of them sat in the central hub before Kirke joined them a moment later, offering sandwiches and refreshments. "Ah, thanks, Big Sis.."
"Hmph, I'm assuming your cooldown finally hit?" Kirke asked as Clarissa accepted a sandwich and an unopened soda. "Hm, it's almost nightfall, we'll need to rest up for tomorrow. I hope the Prince isn't doing anything tiresome."
"..." Naruto sensed out where Laharl was- "... Oh…" He let out a sad smile at Kirke's expression.
~NRK~
"Hmph, I was leading the way, of course," Laharl said from the wall by the door. "It was easy, they may have been almost 100 levels above my least useful of vassals but Naruto helped keep things going, Satan knows how up a creek they'd be if it was only Etna."
"..."
"Hmph, so far, that's all the new stuff," Laharl said, leaning back. "Oh, right, Naruto got that seal that you made… I think? Eh, well, turns out, he's already done some work on it. It's crazy how he's become more useful in one day than Etna. I almost feel sorry for her but I've still gotta decide on a good punishment. I'm thinking… Eels."
The door to King Kirchevskoy's chambers creaked open, startling the prince who turned to see Kirke, a smile on the Prinny's face as she brought in some food.
"K-Kirke, oh, it's you," Laharl said lamely as the red Prinny chuckled a bit, handing him the tray. "I'm not… really all that hungry."
"Hmmm, that's fair," she said, taking the tray to the nightstand next to him. "It's there when you need it."
Laharl did nothing but nod before finding the Prinny taking a seat at his pop's bedside.
Kirke pat the chair next to her and Laharl hesitated before walking forward to take the seat.
They sat there in an odd companionable silence that Laharl was confused by. He'd expected such an atmosphere from just Naruto, most likely, but Kirke… Something about her simply took him off-guard.
She worked hard, knew his distastes, made a potion for said things, and still took care of everyone in the castle… somehow.
Where did such a work ethic come from in a Prinny? It was odd how she'd shown up and just assumed the role of head Prinny while going below her station and still handling everything else.
Naruto had great respect for her but he seemed to do that for… Well, no, it was likely just for those in their little sextet of party members with everyone else getting the normal amount of respect. Odd to think but she likely helped him when he'd first come along.
"Hmm, ya know," she spoke up, getting the prince's attention. "Our King… He used to be such a little playboy when he was younger," Kirke said with a giggle as Laharl's eyes bugged. "We talked a lot and, trust me, the man before you went through quite a few phases before he really got his act together, hmmm."
"T-The old man!?" Laharl looked appalled. "H-How could he d-deal with all those w-weird-bodied women?!"
Kirke tutted. "Let me tell you, Prince Laharl, you may be saying this now but you might grow to appreciate well-figured women in the future," she said with a huff at his look of complete disgust. "Oh, come now."
Naruto chuckled before gesturing down the hall, away from the three occupant's location.
Clarissa nodded with a smile as they did.
Getting enough distance, she hummed.
"Kirke is so odd of a Prinny," Clarissa told her celestial associate. "Where are all of you coming from, Naruto-kun?"
"I don't know, well, I never really told you the whole story," Naruto said before giving her the rundown.
When he finished, Clarissa blinked.
"So, you're from another Netherworld's human world?"
"I…" Naruto blinked in thought. "I… Don't know? We had a Hell but I've never seen a demon like you guys and I fought one when I went to this Blood Prison place."
"How peculiar."
~NRK~
The next five days saw the group diving further into the Parazonium before they reached a worrying point at its 35th floor.
"Um…" Even Laharl grimaced a bit when he saw the enemies in the distance's levels. "Okay, even I don't like our chances with level 400 enemies."
"So we've reached as far as we can with this weapon," Kirke said with finality. "... I'm going to be honest, I believe this is for the best."
"Why?"
"Because… The further you dive into a powerful item," Kirke said slowly with a wince. "You may come into contact with a being more powerful than almost any demon. It's an anomaly of demonic energy and the Item World's rules. Darkdeath Evilman, a demon from a far-off world whose likeness has been added to every Item World in the form of Proto-Death."
"... Why does he have every evil moniker in the book?" Flonne asked hopelessly. "T-That sounds bad."
"Yes," Kirke frowned as Laharl grimaced. "This crazy puppet is known to have insane powers and can reach levels of 6000. Should we catch even a hint of him appearing, we have to leave."
"Fuck," Laharl kissed his teeth before shrugging. "We were gonna leave anyway, yeah? Might as well cut our losses now."
The entirety of the group nodded while Naruto's flippers crossed in thought, Laharl managing the Mr. Gency's Exit.
'Crazy demonic energy, right?' He thought. '... Could he have the Evility I'm looking for?'
Well, he wouldn't know, for now, he had levels to get.
That said, this was only a copy, right? That meant that the real one had to be about the universe.
… Oh, god, please don't tell him he had to go to space for this shit.

He looked at his stats and Party List.

They had some really good levels right now!
He was currently in the hub area, sitting in one of the four recliners/massage chairs recently added to the room over the week.
"I wondered iiifff I'll get a new form at level 100?" He asked himself as his back was beat against by the machine. "Hmmmmmm."
"Hm?" Came a soft voice from his side before there was a rush of steps and a body in the chair next to him. "Hey, Naruto!"
The Prinny chuckled at his blonde angel friend. "How's it going, Flonne? You prepared for today?"
"Well, will we really worry?" She asked.
"Flonne, Laharl's basically saying 'Come catch these hands' in video format," Naruto said with a sweatdrop. "Trust me, get as much rest as you can, I can feel the impending violence."
She laughed nervously at that, turning the chair on and melting into its depths. "Mmmm, I'm glad we got these! Laharl made a really good purchase!"
"Yeah, well, I bet he's also been feeling the strain as of late," Naruto said with a nod. "He's always rushing into the fight first out of all of us. He probably feels responsible because of his level."
"Hm? He does?"
"He doesn't like showing his emotions a lot," Naruto said with a soft tone. "But Laharl's far more capable of kindness than anyone can imagine."
Flonne stared at him before giggling.
"I know it!" She said with a grin. "Laharl is far kinder than I ever believed most demons could be," the angel said with another giggle. "Before we met up with you, there was another demon we met, a boar demon by the name of Hoggmeiser. Laharl spared him and left him with enough stuff to live off of when we beat him."
Naruto grinned. "Yea, he's certainly making leaps."
They simply chatted, the two's conversation being mundane until they came onto the topic of Celestia.
"Flonne, I'm curious, Celestia's 'heaven', right?"
"Yes, there's a whole section of Celestia meant for souls who've passed on," the trainee said. "That's the 'heaven' side. There, souls enjoy a life of simple happiness before being prepared for proper, non-combat, reincarnation."
"Hmph, I guess everywhere's got stuff like that," Naruto said.
"Yes, actually… Not all angels are born angels," Flonne said with a small smile as Naruto blinked. "You can be chosen amongst some of the reincarnated souls who've done great deeds in their lives, borne an angel, or go into the angel academy. There, it's seen if even a normal soul can become an angel. Especially since it seems like there's only one Celestia. I was in a class of a thousand."
"Huh?!" Naruto balked as Kana and Nakano entered the area before getting something to drink. "T-That's a lot of angels."
"Mm-hmph!" Flonne nodded as Clarissa made her way into the area. "I never thought about it but there are a lot of angels. I mean, I know some go on to become the bodyguard for the Archangels of Celestia, who also protect the one Seraph, while others go on to become Guardian Angels of humans while many join the Peace Corps. I'm part of those and we go out to handle demons that cause trouble in the human world."
"Truly?" Clarissa asked as she, too, sat in a massage chair. "I've heard of some demons going about and trying to go to the human world but most of them simply do so to cause mischief."
"Mmm, yeah, some of them don't," Flonne said nervously. "T-That said, it's not always their fault. Some humans are…" She struggled to find the words.
"Beyond reason," Naruto finished, getting a tired smile from the angel. "I mean, Prinnies exist, it's life. There are simply some people who just can't see reason normally and they do things they really shoulder. There was this guy from my world, his name was Orochimaru and he was trying to attain immortality and tried to steal my best friend's body."
"W-What?!" Flonne stared at him in disbelief as Clarissa hummed.
"Hmph, I will never understand such humans," the Cleric said. "Not even demons live forever. Why in the world would anyone want such a thing?"
"Yeah!" Flonne wore a pout. "Why?! Doesn't he want to live in heaven?!"
"Um, well, we don't really have a heaven," Naruto answered, shocking both members of his party. "From what I understand, it's this place called the Pure Lands. We have a hell and even a Shinigami, a death god."
"... Your world seems so confusing," Clarissa said with a frown. "Then what happens to those in these Pure Lands."
"Actually, the exact same thing that happens in heaven, supposedly."
"... Maybe it's a different kind of Celestia section?" Flonne asked in confusion. "... Well, maybe you really were taken from another dimension? Your world sounds so confusing."
Naruto chuckled as Laharl, Etna, and Kirke came in, the former having a grin on his face as a squad of Prinnies brought a large TV into the room.
"It's time!" He said with a grin, taking the last massage chair, one of an oddly bigger size. "Play it!"
"Do you want to take a shot at this demon prince?!" Came the TV Laharl's call. "HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Ah, Laharl-sama!" Came Naruto, skidding to a stop by the blue-haired boy. "We must go, all the treasure we recently got from the Item World are ours for the taking, dood!"
"Hah! This will make the wait pretty good," Laharl said as he pointed at the screen. "Understand, there's more than just a title you can take a shot at."
The TV Naruto nodded, bringing out a list before coughing into his fin. "Let's go down the list, dood."
"One, there's a deed that I now hold," Laharl said with one finger raised. "If I hold onto the deed by the end of the day, I remain the undisputed owner of this Netherworld!"
"Two!" Naruto spoke up. "You can make a group with tons of members… but well, only one of you gets to become the owner of the Netherworld. Choose wisely, dood."
"Finally, three," Laharl grinned as he puffed his chest out and crossed his arms. "This fight will take place in Blair Forest! Bring all your tricks, traps, and teases! I'll be waiting for all of them! MWAHAHHAHAHAHA!"
"Come to the battlefield on DaeJan 13th! Be prepared to square, dood!" Naruto called out as an explosion of light erupted from behind the two posing males.
The screen cut out as Laharl grinned smugly.
"So, what do you guys think?"
"Um," Flonne blinked in confusion. "It's a little plain, isn't it?"
"Also, Prince," Etna spoke up candidly. "Is that offer open to… everyone?"
"One, how the hell is that plain, Flonne?!" Laharl barked as the angel trainee looked nervous. "Two, there's no such deed, ETNA."
"H-Huh?!"
"It's all a trick, dood," Naruto said. "Being honest, this is probably the best way to get everything out of the way before we get ambushed for, like, a million days."
"Hmm, that date is tomorrow," Clarissa said, getting a nod from both males. "That's rather soon and underhanded," she said before smiling. "Well done, Prince Laharl."
"Hehe~" Laharl grinned. "Add on that Naruto gave me an idea. If we choose the battlefield, he can set up traps to deal with tons of the opposition with his clones."
"I already sent, like, 500 over to the battlefield," Naruto said with a grin. "I had to set them close to the teleporter location but, should things work in our favor, this'll make life so much easier."
"So, the fact of the matter is that we should bring as many underhanded ideas to the table," Laharl said with a firm frown as Kirke tapped the bottom of her beak.
"Well… I could help by setting up some magic traps," she said and Laharl grinned. "Naruto?"
"On it," Naruto crossed his flippers and, moments later, thirty clones popped into existence. "You got this, Kirke-nee-chan."
She nodded before heading off to the Dimensional Transporter.
They were gonna place everything in their favor, dammit.
~NRK~
And that's that.
Once again, I'm playing fast and loose with the stat gains, I don't know the formula but Naruto's clearly got far better stats than his level would allow.
Onto our favorite Prinny, and now Werefox, he's right, he may get another transformation by level 100… possibly. I know that Disgaea is about breaking the game but I don't want to do that just yet. That said, he's got four more transformations to go. Yes, I said Four. Don't worry about it too much.
And, as is apparent in this fic, levels have been adjusted to more match with what'd actually be normal in the Netherworlds. Alongside that, weapons also needed to change because getting a Yoshitsuna by level 500 wouldn't be a good look.
… Maybe, the Land of Carnage exists but even in the games, those levels are treated as they should be, VERY HARD levels where seeing enemies past level 2000 isn't unusual.
Also, Overloads, those will be a thing but, as shown, that's not for a WHILE. I'll treat them like the True Ultimate Skill of a demon.
I didn't mention the others' Unique Evilities yet, mostly because I forgot, we'll get to that next chapter.
And, like I said, we're diverging from canon. Right now, with Naruto and Kirke's aid, the group are more prepared to take down the large as hell numbers of the Chapter Six cutscene.
Also, I developed Celestia a bit because of Disgaea 5's whole situation. Celestia seems like it covers ALL Netherworld
