Moments after the Subspace Bomb Factory explodes, the villains on board the Halberd start freaking out.
Dr. Robotnik: NO NO NO NO NO! CURSE THEM!
Dr. Cortex: Oh, why must it always be like this?
Bowser: ROOOOOOAAAAAARRRRR!
King K. Rool: Oh, I'm gonna chomp those little punks into a million pieces!
Administrator: They found out about the bomb factory and destroyed it...
Oberon: Curse them! Without those bombs, what are we going to do?
Administrator: We haven't lost. We're still going to get the Master Emerald.
Then, Heavy Gunner shows up.
Dr. Robotnik: YOU FOOL! YOU CAN'T BE TRUSTED TO DO ANY... thing...
Before he could say anything else, he sees Heavy Gunner with his arms up in the air, and both Kirito and Meta Knight pointing swords at him, with the rest of the group behind them.
Dr. Robotnik: What in the world?!
Meta Knight: You should choose your words carefully, Doctor. I will take back the Halberd, and you all will leave.
Kirito steps up first, looking at all of the villains, and especially at Sugou.
Kirito: Where is she?
Oberon: Hmm?
Sonic: Don't you play dumb, Sugou. Where's Yui?
Oberon: Ah, yes... Yui... She's down in the prison wing. Though, she's not looking very good today.
Asuna: What did you do?!
Oberon: Well, Dear Asuna, let me just say that I've really had quite a laugh looking at her scared face.
The other villains look away in shame.
Oberon: You should have seen her crying for help. She was like "I want my Mommy and Daddy..."
Everyone in Kirito's side looks at Sugou with disgust. In fact, the Black Swordsman himself starts to slowly raise his shaking right hand.
Miyuki: Yui-chan...
Oberon: I laughed so hard after seeing that. I really did! She said "I want to go home... I want Mommy..."
Skull: You son of a...
Lina: You really are the scum of the Earth.
Yukiko: Poor Yui-chan...
Violet: How could this happen to a child?
Honoka: Even worse... He's laughing about it.
Oberon: And finally... The best part of all, Kirigaya...
Kirito's hand reaches his back, right near his Elucidator.
Oberon: I readied my fist, and gave her the most excruciatingly painful beating! HAHA!
And now, the switch has been flipped on.
Kirito: HRRAAAAAAAAAAAGH!
The furious Black Swordsman reaches for both the Elucidator and Dark Repulser on his backs, and unsheathes the two swords which glow blue as he takes them out. With that, he charges at Sugou.
Oberon: Hehe...
Kirito begins to unleash his ultimate sword skill, The Eclipse, which luckily for Sugou, he was able to block all of those attacks using a barrier skill.
Tails: KIRITO!
Asuna: KIRITO!
Oberon: That's right, Kirigaya!
The cruel tyrant sends Kirito flying back with a shockwave spell.
Asuna: NO!
Asuna quickly runs to her husband, lying on the ground.
Asuna: Are you alright, Kirito?
Kirito: Asuna...
Oberon: I love seeing the fury in your eyes. It makes me even more wanting to do bad things to your loved ones.
Dr. Robotnik: I really hate this guy.
Sonic: You really had fun with the kid, haven't you, Sugou? I'm not surprised.
Oberon: Would you like to join in, hedgehog?
Sonic: Actually, how about we settle this fairly?
Oberon: Fairly?
Sonic: Here's the deal. You can fight Kirito in a one-on-one duel. If he wins, you are coming with us so we can turn you in. Plus, all of your friends can hightail it out of here.
Joker: Sonic, what are you doing?
Oberon: Hmm... Very well. What about you, Kirigaya? Do you accept?
Kirito: Sure.
Asuna: Kirito...
Kirito: I'll be okay. I've beaten him before, and I'll do it again.
Asuna: Okay. I believe in you.
Kirito: This won't take long.
The Black Swordsman stands up, and moves on ahead, facing Sugou, while Asuna steps back to watch.
Tails: Go get em, Kirito.
Tails gets a call on his phone from Chifuyu.
Tails: Hey Miss Orimura.
Chifuyu: Tails. Where are you and the others now?
Tails: We finished bombing the Subspace Bomb factory. And now we're on the armies airship. Well, actually it doesn't really belong to them.
Chifuyu: What?! What are you doing on there?!
The hedgehog grabs the phone.
Sonic: Kirito's about to have a battle with Sugou. And we're getting Yui back with us. We don't care if we're disobeying orders or not. This is a matter of saving his kid.
Chifuyu: Alright. Then I wish you the best of luck. Bring Yui back safely.
The call ends.
Chie: Sonic. Are you sure about this deal?
Sonic: Sugou's not as powerful as you think he is. And I know Kirito very well. He's not the kind who would lose so easily. This is his fight. And he is the Black Swordsman.
Oberon: I've been waiting for this moment for a long time. The moment when I really get to show my fury to you. Now, let's finish this, Kirito!
Kirito: Right.
They both get in their fighting stances, ready to battle. After a moment, the two begin running toward each other and swing swords. Oddly enough, Sugou's skills with a sword aren't as good as they should be.
Kirito: (Is he just playing around?)
Oberon: Curses. If a sword won't do, then I'll use magic!
With that, the false Fairy King fires some dark projectiles at him. Fortunately, he was able to deflect them all with his two swords, leaving the battlefield to be covered in smoke. Kirito carefully checks his surroundings.
Oberon: HYAAAAHHH!
Behind Kirito, Sugou prepares to perform the sword skill, Vertical. But Kirito was able to counter that using the one-handed sword skill, Vertical Square with his Elucidator.
Oberon: Time to use my trump card.
Sugou activates a certain spell, that causes Kirito to forcefully get down on the floor.
Shizuku: What is that?!
Honoka: Is that gravity?
Vector: Does that kind of magic really exist in Alfheim Online?
Tails: Gravity magic... Sugou mentioned this back in the previous Alfheim Online. It was supposed to be implemented in an upcoming update. Well, that was before RECT Progress got shut down that is.
Kirito tries desperately hard to get back up, but the force from the gravity magic pulls him down hard.
Oberon: This is the end for you, Gilded Hero.
He gets ready to stab Kirito one last time with Excalibur. This makes the fallen hero look at his friends. Tails, Knuckles, Joker, Yu, Tatsuya, Miyuki, and finally, Sonic and Asuna.
Kirito: Asuna... Sonic...
Asuna: Kirito...
Sonic: Come on, Kirito... Get up...
Kirito: Ngh...
Oberon: Goodbye, Kirigaya.
With that, Oberon the Fairy King pierces his sword down.
Oberon: Haha! Huh?!
However, the stab gets blocked by the Elucidator.
Oberon: WHAT?!
Kirito: NGH! NNGH!
The Black Swordsman begins to gather all his strength and get back up while holding off Sugou's strike.
Kirito: HRAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!
As he gets back up on his feet, he deflects Sugou's sword.
Oberon: WHAT?! HOW?! I HAVE IT AT FULL FORCE!
Knuckles: OH YEAH! That's our Kirito!
Kirito picks up his Dark Repulser off the ground.
Kirito: All of your strikes have no effect against me. The swords in SAO are far more powerful than even you may know! You can count on that!
Oberon: CURSE YOU!
Sugou activates his barrier magic again. But Kirito charges at him using a powerful Vorpal Strike with his left hand. That one strike destroys the barrier.
Oberon: NO! I NEED TO HAVE MY VENGEANCE!
With a sword skill activating, Sugou starts running toward him, and Kirito does the same.
Kirito: STARBURST... STREAM!
And to finish him off, Kirito begins to unleash his 16-hit sword skill, stopping Sugou's Nova Ascension, and slicing through him with his glowing blue lightning fast dual blades.
Oberon: GAAAHHHHH!
Kirito: HRAAAAAAAAAGH!
And Kirito finishes him with the final hit in his sword skill, which then creates a bright blue flash for a couple of seconds before clearing.
Lina: Amazing...
Oberon: I was supposed to... win.
After saying that, he changes form from Oberon the Fairy King back to real world Nobuyuki Sugou.
Sugou: Kirito... You... GRR!
He tries to grab Kirito, but is kicked down to the ground.
Sugou: Gah! Wha...
The furious Black Swordsman starts walking up to him with his dual blades.
Sugou: No! AHH! NO!
The cowardly king starts to crawl away, but Kirito kicks him again. With nowhere else to run, Sugou looks to the hero in black with fear in his eyes.
Sugou: P-Please! No!
Kirito: How pathetic. You're just as cowardly as Raios and Humbert.
He hangs the tip of his sword above Sugou, and looking as though he's going to stab him.
Mario: Woah!
Sonic: No! KIRITO! NO!
Sugou: AHHHHH!
He pierces his sword down. Though, instead of hitting Sugou, he hits the ground, right next to his head.
Sugou: Ah... Ah...
Kirito: You've done more than enough damage. You kidnapped all of those players and experimented on them. You've hurt Asuna far too much. And you've hurt Yui just as much. You'd better be lucky I'm making you live. Because this is the last time I'm doing so. If you ever try to even go after the people I love again, I will make sure you're dead.
Sugou: Ah... Ah... I... won't...
Kirito stands back up and walks away from him, and sheathes his two swords.
Asuna: KIRITO!
Asuna runs over to him and hugs him.
Kirito: It's over now, Asuna. We don't have to worry about Sugou again. We'll make sure he won't get out of jail again.
Asuna: I knew you could do it.
Sonic: Nice job, Kirito.
Yosuke: Kirito! You were incredible!
Mona: Yeah! I don't think I've never seen sword skills so amazing before!
Chie: Yeah! That was pretty cool!
Tails: Exactly what you can expect from the Black Swordsman.
Kirby: Poyo! Poyo!
Tatsuya: Well done, Kirito.
Kirito: Thank you, everyone.
The villains get out of their seats.
Dr. Robotnik: I will be honest with you guys right now. I really hate Sugou as much as you do.
Administrator: We regret seeing what he's done to Yui.
Bowser: I feel really bad about it to be honest.
Dr. Cortex: It was just very disturbing.
Sonic: Ooh... So you do care after all, Eggman.
Dr. Robotnik: Shut up, Sonic! This doesn't mean I don't hate you. And I REALLY REALLY REALLY hate you!
Sonic: I know.
Lina: Well, I guess it's time for you guys to leave.
Meta Knight: And indeed you will.
Administrator: And we are.
Sonic: Oh! But before you go, there's one more thing!
Dr. Robotnik: What?
The hedgehog puts his hand forward, like he wants something.
Sonic: Give it here.
Dr. Robotnik: What are you talking about?
Sonic: You know... Gem... Me want gem. Give it.
Dr. Robotnik: Grr...
Robotnik reaches into his pocket and takes out a Chaos Emerald, and gives it to Sonic.
Sonic: Thank you.
The villains look at the hedgehog with a glare.
Sonic: Aww... Don't be so down on yourselves.
Mario: At least you-a care for once. Even you, Bowser.
Bowser: This isn't over plumber! Same goes for you, hedgehog!
Dr. Robotnik: You may have all seven Chaos Emeralds and the Halberd in your possession now, but you still haven't defeated the Subspace Army. Now! Let's go!
The villains take their leave.
Administrator: You will find the child in the port side prison wing. Please take her to receive medical attention.
The Administrator follows the rest of the villains out.
Meta Knight: At last. The Halberd is mine again.
Kirito: Alright, Meta Knight. We got your ship back. Can you show us where the port side prison wing is?
Meta Knight: Yes. Follow me.
Everyone heads to the port side prison wing.
Meta Knight: Your child may be in one of these cells. I'm not sure which one though.
Sonic: Then let's look around for her.
Everybody looks everywhere around at the prison cells to look for Yui.
Kirito: Hey! Over here!
Everybody runs to the prison cell that Kirito found, and they see the little black-haired girl.
Asuna: YUI!
Knuckles: I got this!
The strong red echidna pulls out the jail bars holding Yui captive, and both Kirito and Asuna run to her.
Asuna: Yui!
They hold onto the unconscious little girl, with bruises and cuts all over her.
Kirito: Yui...
Tails: Is she okay?!
Kirito: She's alive. But she's injured all over.
Miyuki: Oh Yui-chan...
Violet: So that's Yui-chan.
Panther: This is just horrible. Those bruises and cuts...
Espio: Even more, she's just a child and she had to go through with this and get involved.
Tatsuya: We need to take her to Cardinal. She might be able to heal her quickly.
Sonic: Yeah. Alright. Let's take the Halberd back to West Side Island and meet up with everyone. Tails! Let Chifuyu and the others know we're coming back.
Tails: Right!
Knuckles: Now that we have all seven Chaos Emeralds and the Halberd, and that we're finished with the Subspace bombing crisis, it's time to plan our next move.
