Sero was not having a good time anymore.

Sure, he had his suspicions. It was off that they weren't swarmed when they took a step inside the base, especially since the other interactions of them and the stories that Emmett and Lathrop gave. He was glad he didn't get blasted into the next life from the factory, but walking into an enclosed space that was the home turf of the people you were trying to defeat seemed like it was just a bad move.

And then came the fork in the cave. He took the one in the middle and realized something might be a little off, as the floor softened and shifted to sand. The walls were lined with hieroglyphs and were covered in dust, or sand he supposed.

And the final kicker was that, life had the gall to devliever karma on him. He said there wouldn't be an alien that would have his power set. Shooting tape? Not really a power you think of when thinking of that.

So who did he fight?

Not only was the guy the one he talked to on the phone, not only was he the leader of the entire organization, but he was a mummy. A sentient pile of bandages that was like he was fighting through a real minefield.

"So, how does it feel to play a hero!" The leader, who introduced himself as Kane, howled as he wrapped a bandage around his ankle and dragged him through the sandy floor again.

Sero was starting to really hate sand. He's never going to get this out of his tape again.

He was released again and weakly stood. The elegantly dressed alien towered over him and looked down at him. He held no signs of animosity, but still held a sense of high stature and pride.

He looked around the room he has been ragdoll around for the past couple minutes. It looked like a egyptian tomb, much like the leader's physique. On the opposite wall, was a finely adorned sarcophagus with blue jewels and gold. The most alien thing in the room was the office-like desk in the middle, where papers and a blaster sat.

He didn't even know if he could even use the blaster since whenever he tried to use his quirk or just punch the mummy, Kane would just shift and have it phase through him.

There had to be a way to subdue him. A weak point maybe?

Well, he probably had at least one solid part of his body. Like with the Kurogiri guy, maybe there's organs or something hidden in his cloth. Although, he hasn't seen him unravel his clothing, so they are probably solid.

To test his theory, he got up and ran to the side in an attempt to get to a more favorable position. He shot a strand of his tape at the gauntlet of the mummy, only to watch him unravel that and turn to him.

Well, there goes that.

"Is that the best you can do? I'm afraid to tell you, but your quirk isn't useful here. My bandages are stronger, longer and I can regenerate them. Even then, I can control them while you can't. Maybe now is the time that you should regret crossing our path." Kane remarked in confidence. Sero stiffened as he tried to think.

He had to have some way of beating him.

He looked around in the room as the mummy approached him, towering over him like a god. He looked up at the gleaming face of the leader as it seemed like his life flashed before his very eyes.

Wait, gleaming? Most of his clothing didn't gleam in the light, only the jeweled and gilded parts did. Was his face just a mask? An idea started to form in his head and he shot a strand of tape at the mask. He watched as the head unraveled, but the mask unraveled last despite it being the target. The tape flopped to the other side but Sero now had a faint idea.

If it was a mask, why would it take longer to unravel? Unless it wasn't a mask but his face. A solid part of his body.

Sero smirked as he figured he finally figured a way to win, but Kane had other ideas. Two bandages wrapped around his neck and hoisted him up. Sero began to gag and scratch the bandage in an attempt to get them off of his neck.

"Sorry, but our games have to end now." Kane coldly said. The world seemed to spin as Sero glanced at him. His tape wasn't fast enough for him to hit him in the face.

But his eyes drifted to the desk, more importantly the blaster sitting on the desk with a yellow canister.

He gave a slight smile and subtlety shifted his elbow towards the desk.

"Any last words? I may be a criminal, but I keep my word. I'll ask if they'll engrave this on your tomb." Kane asked him. Sero laughed as he got the right angle.

"Alright. I got something. Go back to the costume store, you discount gauze." He remarked as he shot his tape and retracted, grabbing the blaster off the desk and loosely shot towards the face of Kane. A ripple of energy spread on his face as he howled in pain and released Sero.

Sero gasped for air as he gripped the blaster. A growl above brought Sero's attention up, as Kane bore into his soul with vengeful eyes.

"Alright, that's enough now." He said with venom. Bandages wrapped around Sero's stomach and he worried that he was going to constrict him and break his bones.

Except he hoisted him up in the air, leaving Sero confused.

And then Kane threw him over himself and slammed Sero into the desk, shattering the desk into miscellaneous pieces. Sero groaned as he pushed himself up and looked up to Kane. Sero grabbed the blaster again and slowly stood. Pain racked his body with greater intensity then it had before and his clothing was starting to tear from the conflict.

"Had enough?" Kane asked with power in his voice. Sero looked at him weakly and held the blaster tighter, which caused it to rattle in his hands.

"I can keep going…" He mumbled. He was mentally cursing his luck in not having a durability trait like Kirishima or what Kaminari could probably have with one or two of his transformations. He'll probably break something soon if he hasn't yet. Better yet, probably won't be fun to explain this to his parents.

"Fine then." Kane growled as Sero's head was wrapped up again like he was wearing a headband. He waited and watched as threw him against the wall with a low rumble as dust was disturbed from the blow. Sero groaned as he pushed himself up again. He slowly glanced at the door and thought of running for a moment.

But he doubted he had the strength to go far.

He looked at the blaster that he had dropped when he hit the wall and tried to figure out what he could do with it. He could hit Kane's face with it, but it didn't really do much outside of annoying him.

He would probably need something bigger or stronger in order to survive. Maybe a bomb or something.

He looked down at his blaster again and a twisted idea started to form in his head. He weakly stood and fired a piece of tape at the ceiling and pulled himself up and over to the other side of the room, sailing over Kane who didn't seem interested in his action. He landed weakly next to the sarcophagus where he assumed Kane rested.

"What are you doing.." Kane finally asked Sero as he stood, using the sarcophagus as support. He brought the blaster up as he created tape, and stuffed it into the barrel. Kane watched in interest and intrigue as Sero kept at it until he couldn't fit anymore in. Kane's eyes began to widen as Sero used the blaster to pry open the sarcophagus. He smirked and held the blaster up.

"You know, Planchaküle's are interesting and useful teachers for chaos. So, here's a present. Enjoy." He cheered as he pressed the trigger, causing the blaster to start to charge, but the tape slowed it's travel to the end of the barrel, causing it to start to spark as energy started to build up from the inside. He chucked it towards Kane as his face began to grow in alarm. Sero tucked himself into the sarcophagus and waited.

The sickening crack and tearing of metal rang in Sero's as the cover of the sarcophagus shook and a red color illuminated the room. Out of the corner he had, he watched shreds of cloth scatter throughout the room along with sand. After the blast was over, Sero waited for a second as he tried to listen for anything.

He didn't hear anything so he slipped out of the coffin. He looked at it's condition, now looking stained red and cracked. He looked in the room, noticing it was in a similar condition. A small crater was now where Kane once stood and everything in the room was sent towards the walls or ripped apart. Sero noticed pieces of Kane around the room and it filled him with a sick and gut wrenching feeling.

Did he just kill him?

He looked around for his mask. He weakly shifted his foot to search in the sand for it to see if it had managed to completely be covered. He didn't even know where to really start so he kinda just swept the room starting from his side of the room.

'This is going to be annoying to clean out of my shoes…' He thought as he hit something solid. Shifting his foot, he noticed the gold texture and picked it up. Well, he found Kane or at least his face. It no longer held the prestige and shining appearance as before, with cracks and soot covering it. His eyes were closed so he assumed the blast knocked him out cold.

Funny to think the only solid part of the guy throwing him around like yesterday's garbage was small enough to fit in his palm.

He looked at the mask and back at the sarcophagus. An idea started to form as he smiled. He walked over to it and chucked the mask in with a satisfying clank to boot. Pressing his body into the cover and pushing, he closed it and taped the edge of the cover and smiled at his handiwork.

"And that's why I wanna be called Cellophane.." He mumbled to himself. He sat down and fell back into the sand.

He wanted to nap now.

Kirishima grunted as another weight cracked over his head like he was an iron skillet. He hardened again as he looked at his red clad foe.

Actually, more like red armor. Meanwhile, his opponent growled in frustration as he threw his arms out for emphasis.

"Come on! Your quirk is so dumb, just stop it and let me hit you!" He complained loudly. Kirishima smirked in pride.

"I mean, you have that armor. So it's fair I suppose." Kirishima replied. The alien sighed in annoyance.

"Well, I still have this up my sleeve… or in my sleeve!" He raised his hands up and Kirishima watched as a metal face plate slid down and closed his hood. Kirishima braced himself and blocked with his arms, but was startled when water shot out and shot him into the wall on the other side of the now wrecked gym-like room.

The wall cracked under the pressure of the water and Kirishima's hardened body. After a couple seconds, the water stream died down and Kirishima stood up. He instantly noticed his back was slightly less stiff now. He was slightly concerned at that, meaning all the attack this guy did with punches and smashing his weights on his body was starting to break his hardening. Although, he looked down on his now soaked form.

'Well, I at least know what his ability is. He's basically a hazardous water cannon. I think I can do this if I can keep my hardening up. The real question is if my durability is better than his…' He resharpened his hands, leaned forward and bolted forward while water splashed around them.

The alien raised his hands to block and Kirishima's hands slid off with a metallic scraping sound ringing in their ears. Kirishima took a step back and threw another punch. His foe kept blocking so Kirishima kept up his onslaught. Little by little, he managed to gain more ground and push him back into the other wall.

But he made no traction in managing to break his armor, but he can tell he was starting to weaken. He was going to be smarter and somewhere where his armor was thinner.

Like his hood…

He grabbed the arms and brought them down. He clenched his fist and slammed it into their face. Using as much force he could, he threw him into the ground with all his might. The ground cracked under their weight and the water rose and splattered around them. Red shards and grey shards flew as the helmet cracked under the weight and Kirishima's blow.

Kirishima stood up and looked at his foe. He seemed knocked out from the blunt trauma and his helmet was cracked and possessed exposed holes. He looked around the room and felt a ping of guilt. He reached down and pulled him up. He picked him up and slowly dragged him to a chair that he didn't use to hit him on the head. He set him down and made sure he would stay.

Well, at least now he should have a somewhat reasonable wake up. He was a criminal but he at least deserved some form of empathy.

"WHAT ABOUT MY SHOP!?"

"MY HOME WAS WRECKED? WHERE CAN I LIVE NOW!?"

"WHAT'LL HAPPEN NOW WITH THE CARPENTER LEADERS BEAT?"

Kaminari felt like his head was about to shatter. Multiple voices rang through his ears as different citizens as he seemed to be pushed around by the angered crowd.

The destruction of the town caused by Bateson and his antics caused many people to seek retribution for their destruction and since Kirishima and Sero weren't present, Kaminari was taken by the angered crowd for all the actions.

He had transformed out of his Methanosian form a few moments prior before he was swarmed so he couldn't really help himself out of it. Even Eric and Mura had left him to be dragged off while they dealt with Bateson.

"Just let me have some room!" He shouted over the crowd. They seemed to take the message and spread out around him, but they kept it well closed off so he couldn't run.

Well, maybe as Crashopper he could. But he didn't know if someone could hit him in the air or actually fly.

"Well, what do you want me to do?! I don't have the ability to fix everything!" He voiced his complaints loudly.

"Well…" A voice rang over the crowd and they parted, allowing for what was a purple looking man in a tux that had small bumps along his body, which he was guessing was the small vent things on his head. He stood in front of Kaminari and held his hands behind his back and stood noblely.

"Greetings. My name is Brook, the mayor of this town." He introduced, giving his large hand for Kaminari to shake. He reluctantly did so and Brook returned to his former posture.

"Wait, if you're the mayor, why didn't you just fight against the Carpenters?" Kaminari asked.

"Why don't humans fight against criminals even if they don't have a hero license?" Brook countered just as fast as Kaminari had asked. He was silent before he nodded and let him continue.

"Either way, the Carpenters, while usually hidden, do typically cause trouble for us, in the forms of payment. Don't pay, suffer the consequences. Several residents have lost their businesses from debt. Some even their lives. Most of us are like you humans. We wake up, go to work and play. But now that you have taken down one of the leaders of the Carpenters, I theorize their power will weaken." He explained to Kaminari, with several members of the crowd nodding to him.

"Well, that was our goal. Hero work and all.." Kaminari mumbled with a small smile.

"However, I suppose you have heard of the vacuum effect. Now that you have removed them from power, it can inspire someone else to take that place." He told them. Kaminari nodded and thought for a second.

"Well, what do you want me to do about it? I'm not exactly the pinnacle of heroism." He reasoned with the mayor. He leaned forward and Kaminari could feel like he was smiling smugly.

"Well, I assume you know what community service is?" With that, Kaminari's heart sank. The crowd began to cheer as he began to really panic now. That was not what he wanted to do. He would rather keep his free time and not be a prisoner doing cleaning work.

"What!? I can't do that! I have school to do!" He replied, trying to get himself out of this situation.

"You have time out of school to do some work, right? So here's the proposal. You help the fine citizens of our town rebuild and stabilize themselves anyway you want, and on us, we don't make your life worse. Because remember…" He leaned into Kaminari's fear stricken face for effect. "There might be someone in this town who considers humans a delicacy."

Well, he was almost already on someone's food list before so he wasn't ready to go back on it once more. Kaminari slowly nodded to his statement and the mayor stood and turned to the crowd.

"Well, who needs help first? He's right here!" He gestured towards Kaminari and he felt scared now. Aliens began to yell and shout over each and try to get his help.

"I'm not going to have fun…" He groaned. His arm was grabbed and he was dragged to work.

And thus started his community service.

His first assignment was reconstruction on several stands he had torched earlier. They had him clean up the ash and rubble and then grab some supplies to restock the entirety of the stalls. So there he was, sitting there grumbling trying to figure out the alien text to construct them.

"You got a few hours before the sun sets. Think you can do it in time?" Someone mocked him from behind him. He turned over his shoulder and looked at them with annoyance.

"Yeah, I can." He said. The alien laughed and turned his back to him as he went off to look at something. Kaminari felt slightly sick to his stomach at that remark. He couldn't explain why, it just did. He glanced at the Omnitrix and he smirked.

'What if I had a little speed to help me out.' He opened the dial and the yellow flash enveloped his new reptilian body. He stood up, hammer and nails in hand. He looked to the piles of wood and was ready to dash to work before he was called out.

"Wait a minute! How… How did you do that!?" The alien watching him asked. He smirked and shrugged.

"Maybe it's my quirk. Maybe it's something else. Anyway, I'm going to finish before the sun sets. Just watch!" He cheered as he dashed forward, wood flying as nails and rapid bangs of hammers rang throughout the street.

Well, if he uses all his aliens like this, this community work should be a breeze!

The air frizzled from electricity as Kaminari whipped his nose. The sun was setting down over the hills of UA as he relaxed. The last few days had been crazy for him, constantly working outside of school for hours on end. Helping rebuild houses, transport supplies and just help in businesses.

His alien forms had become widespread throughout the town at this point, he uses them whenever he can. Kickin Hawk for heavy lifting, Crashopper for doing stuff like the mail and Spidermonkey for multitasking.

"Hey, Kaminari!" He turned to Sero walking towards him. He lightly waved and cracked his knuckles.

"Having funnnn?" Sero smiled as he seemed to try and annoy him. Kaminari scoffed and lightly slugged him in the shoulder.

"This is the first time in days I haven't needed to go to Undertown. Brook gave me a day off since who knew having multiple powers would help complete work faster." He confidently claimed. Sero chuckled.

"Coming from the guy who is delivering mail as a giant cricket." Sero said, knocking Kaminari down a peg.

"Well, I don't see you helping out with community work. Or Kirishima." He countered.

"Kirishima helps out some of the elderly aliens with lifting. I hang out in the junkyard. Undertown is big enough that we probably could go for several more days without running into each other." Sero explained. Kaminari nodded, recognizing his point.

"Wait, why are you at the junkyard? I delivered some stuff there before and I didn't see you there." Kaminari asked. Sero laughed and did what Kaminari assumed to be his signature move of putting his hand in a check under his chin to enhance his somewhat snarky personality.

"Well, when I beat Kane with the blaster, I decided to hide where I wouldn't be dragged into your prison sentence and over the few days, I've kinda grown interested in alien tech. So it's starting to become less of an escape and more of a hobby." He explained.

"You little rat! I'm working my butt off and you're just playing with gadgets!" Kaminari yelled. Sero chuckled.

"Even if they are a little chaotic, they are interesting." He explained with glee. Kaminari grumbled before he started to walk to the building to their side, the gym building where his clothes were.

"Are you ready for the Sports Festival?" Sero asked him as he followed suit.

"It's in two days right?" Kaminari questioned and Sero nodded in response.

"Are you going to use any aliens in it? Expose the secret?" Sero asked with a more serious tone. Kaminari thought about it for a second. If he did, he probably could do amazing in the festivities, and get spotted easily.

But that would have him explain all the alien stuff.

"Nah, I don't think I will. It's too much work to explain it to everyone." He explained to Sero, who nodded in return.

"About how a mysterious alien device that just miraculously got stuck on your wrist?" He joked. Kaminari chuckled at the thought. Did seem bizarre in retrospect.

"Yeah. Probably wouldn't go well for me." He laughed as they reached the locker room.

"Hey, I heard that you got an alien during your fight with your head of the carpenters, who is it?" Sero asked him before he could go in.

"Oh, they're a Methanosian." He explained to him. Sero's face lit up in the recognition of the name.

"So you can turn into the same species as Eric and Glenn huh? Got a name for them?" Kaminari shook his head. Even if it has been a few days, he hadn't come up with any cool or puny name for the form. He had a few ideas like Bushfire or Heatwave but those didn't feel right.

"Well, it has to be something planty.. Maybe Bramble?" Sero raised before Kaminari shook.

"Apparently, they also have fire powers." He explained to him.

"Oooh, ok that makes sense. Methane is flammable so it makes sense they have fire powers. Hmmmm… What about something like Bog?" He suggested.

"Bog? Like a swamp?" Kaminari asked.

"Yeah. Not to insult them, but they smell pretty rancid. And I usually associate bad smells from plants with swamps and stuff. Plus, isn't Methanos a giant swamp?" Sero pointed out. Kaminari thought about his words before an idea formed.

"Hey, what about something like Swampfire? Kinda rolls off the tongue right?" Sero was quiet as he nodded and thought about it.

"Yeah, I can see that fitting. It's pretty good. Although, I still think Feedback is my favorite name out of all of them." Sero said with no shame. Kaminari gasped as he looked at his friend in playful horror.

"How dare you!? I put in a lot of effort to give them names!" He said sarcastically. Sero chuckled.

"But Spidermonkey." He said.

"You try and come up with a better name. It's pretty hard when he's a mix between a spider and monkey." Kaminari dryly replied and Sero chuckled at his words.

"Just put a hyphen in it. Boom, fixed the name." Sero joked.

"I rather not get sued." Kaminari answered, to Sero's amusement. He laughed and waved him off as he walked off.

He quickly changed and made his way out. He debated on going to some shop to get something but decided against it. He just wanted to go home at this point and do some goofing off.

So after a train ride and some walking, he was at home. His mom seemed to be cooking food and dad was messing with something on a computer. Probably for work.

"How was your day?" His mom asked without looking at him.

"Oh it was fine. Did some extra training for the Sports Festival." He explained to her.

"Like the other days? You've been coming home late. Is there a reason for this?" She questioned him. Kaminari panicked for a moment, trying to think of a reasonable lie.

"I was. Training with Kirishima and Sero." He quickly said. He hoped they wouldn't catch on to that lie.

"Well, happy you're devoting yourself to your academics." His father chipped in. Kaminari just nodded and set his stuff down. The smell from the kitchen was pleasant so he knew it wasn't some weird goo thing.

"Oh and by the way, in a couple of weeks we're going to dinner with a couple of old friends." His father chimed in once more. Kaminari looked at him with a confused look before he realized what he meant.

"Even me? I guess. Who are the friends?" He asked his dad with curiosity.

"Just some old buddies. We haven't seen them in a while. I think you'll like them." His mom told him over the sink.

"Not Kyotoku. He's really strict." His dad said as he was making a statement. Kaminari gulped with the image of Aizawa rolled over his brain. His mom laughed in the kitchen as his dad cracked a smile.

"Kyotoku? Strict? Those words work as well together as fire and ice do." His mom remarked. His dad started to giggle to himself as Kaminari caught on.

"He's goofy, isn't he?"

"Well, yeah. Easy-going and not very serious. Him and your dad made a chaotic pair. Had to wrangle them out of trouble a few times." His mom said with a sense of pride. His dad sighed.

"One time!... OK maybe a few times." His dad admitted in defeat.

"Yeah, I can see that." Kaminari mumbled. His dad looked at him in shock.

"Not you too! Come on, have your old man's back!" His dad pleaded with him, causing his mom to chuckle again. Kaminari looked at him with a look of doubt.

"Knowing you, you probably did something rash." He said without any feeling of irony. His dad's jaw dropped in disbelief. His mom laughed, startling the two out of the little debate.

"Are you ok?" Kaminari asked his mom. She turned to him with a smile and nodded.

"Yeah, it's just I'm just remembering stuff. You're dad certainly is something." She commented.

"You're just jealous of all the charm I have." He remarked.

"Yeah, and I'm All Might." His dad deflated as his mom replied. Kaminari chuckled as he sat on the couch near where his dad was and turned on the television.

The news was on, and it was all about the upcoming sports festival. It filled Kaminari with butterflies to know that soon he would probably appear on international television.

Would anyone in Undertown see it? Well, by now most knew who he was from his influence with the Carpenters and community service work, so maybe they won't be surprised.

Actually, Mura knew a few heroes. So they possibly did have the internet and phones down there. He never really saw much for human tech down there, just the occasional television and such. Maybe they just have their own internet to watch videos and such.

Now he was curious about what videos aliens had. The cat videos are probably a lot more creepy and slimy then their own.

"Think you'll do well?" His dad asked him as he sat back down. Kaminari nodded and his dad sighed.

"Yeah, I think you can too. You got a good quirk, just remember about your limit." Kaminari groaned and nodded.

"I know. Do you think you got any hints for me?" He asked in a hope that his dad had some information to give him.

"Hey, I don't have a quirk like you. All I can really give is to play to your strengths and experiences. I don't know how much you fought during the villain attack, but maybe use some of the experience in that to help you." He explained to Kaminari. His mind drifted more towards the Carpenters. Sero, Kirishima and him probably got more experience with fighting than most members in his class. Except maybe Bakugo or Todoroki.

"Hey, don't tell him to do that! What if he was traumatized by it?" His mom defended him from over the counter.

"Does he look traumatized? I'm just saying learn from what you can! You never know when it's useful." He told Kaminari with a heightened tone of urgency.

"Yeah well, they're still first years! Barely a month in! Give them time!" His mom yelled. His dad said something in return but Kaminari tuned them out.

That is actually sound advice.
