Author's Note: Another character from Mark Zhang's Team SLVR franchise will appear in this story, but I don't own said character

Later in the night, Ruby showed up at Junior's club and walked to the bar. He glanced at her and stumbled back a bit. On Ruby's side of the bar were the Malachite Twins, Melanie and Miltiades.

"W-What can I do for you, boss?" Junior asked Ruby.

Ruby looked at him. "I need to borrow Miltia. My fellow Hydra heads and I are proceeding to the next phase of our plan." She said.

Miltia was wearing a red and black dress with a black off center bow belt, red thigh high boots with black heels over black stockings, three feathers above her left ear, one larger than the others and red, and a short black fur shrug. On her wrists were gauntlets that had red and black black claws as long as her forearms attached.

Junior and Miltia nodded, Junior seeming more afraid than Miltia. After that, Ruby and Miltia left the club, much to Melanie's annoyance.

"I trust you won't fail, Miltia." Ruby said.

Miltia nodded. "I'm not like that bowler hat wearing idiot, boss. I won't disappoint you."

"Good. Then be ready to meet the three you'll be spending some time with in the morning."

Miltia nodded her head. Of her and her sister, Miltia was always the more compliant twin, ready and willing to do as she was told.

In Weiss's office walked a young man with black hair to his shoulders and blue eyes wearing a black leather trench coat over a grey shirt, dark pants, boots, and a sheathed broadsword strapped to his back.

"Steel, I'm glad you're here. Please, sit." Weiss said and the young man, now known as Steel, sat in front of Weiss's desk.

"How can I help you, Miss Schnee?" He asked, his accent revealing he's British.

"You'll be meeting three young women before long. My associates and I are sending you and these ladies undercover to Beacon in order to help us with the next phase of our plan." Weiss replied.

Steel nodded. "Happy to comply."

Weiss smirked. "Be ready in the morning."

Blake was in her tent at the White Fang outpost in Forever Fall when she heard someone walk in. She looked up and saw a young woman with pale skin and blue eyes wearing a grey tailcoat over a white tank top, grey jeans and white heeled boots with a saber strapped to her back.

"Welcome, Sister Onyx. I have a task for you, but you'll be working alongside three humans. I trust you can handle that." Blake said.

Onyx nodded. "If it helps the White Fang..." She started then grinned, showing her Faunus trait was sharpened teeth like that of a shark. "...then I'll do whatever it takes."

Blake smirked. "Good. Head to Vale in the morning with me and you'll receive more details."

At the Burning Suns' base in Vale, a woman entered Yang's office. She had pale skin, periwinkle eyes, hair that was mostly black and in a bun with white bangs above her forehead styled to the right, covering her ears, and two parts, one on each temple, pointing behind her. She was wearing a black bolero above a white corset with two rows of silver buttons, black leggings covered by shin and thigh plating, white heels with feathered accessories. On her arms were black mesh, white gloves, bracers on her arms, and plating on her biceps. She had a shield on her left arm and a concealed blade on her right arm. The white of her hair and her feather accessories would have her mistaken for a swan Faunus, but she was as human as anyone in the Burning Suns.

This woman's name was Lysette Atratus and she was the second best solo fighter in the Burning Suns, just behind Yang herself.

Yang, whose feet were propped up on her desk, looked at the girl. "Ah, Lysette. You're here."

"Yes, ma'am. You have a mission for me?"

"I do. You'll be receiving more details in the morning. Rest up tonight."

Lysette nodded. "Yes, ma'am." She said then left the office.

In the morning, Ruby and Miltia met with Weiss and Steel, Blake and Onyx, and Yang and Lysette.

"Steel, Lysette, Miltia, and Onyx, the four of you will be at Beacon under the guise of exchange students from Haven Academy here for the Tournament to help us with our plan." Ruby said.

The four nodded at her.

While they went over the plan, Lapis was sitting outside after breakfast with Alpha. Lapis thought back to what Torchwick had said about the White Fang and the Black Rose having a partnership together. She then thought back to speaking with Professor Ozpin later that evening.

"Well, this evening was quite eventful." He had said to her. "I'm sure you'd like to rest after thwarting a robbery, but I was hoping we could talk first."

Lapis nodded. "Of course, Professor."

Ozpin smiled softly as he sat down. "Excellent. As you're aware, to enroll in my school, a rigorous exam must be passed first. Many train at the combat schools across the world. You were one of the few that didn't attend one of the schools but passed the exam with flying colors." He said.

"People in my family in both my parents' sides have attended Beacon for generations, but they came from outside the Kingdoms like me. We learned you can't survive if you can't fight."

"And survive you have, in more ways than one. Like your mother, you have a drive that I admire. I'm happy to run a school that accepts all sorts of students, be they rich or poor, human..." He stopped to sip his coffee. "...or Faunus."

The Silver Eyed warrior narrowed her eyes at him a little.

"Why wear that helmet and hide who you are, Lapis?"

"You're willing to accept the Faunus, Professor, but your species isn't."

"True, but we continue to take strides to lessen the divide."

"No disrespect, but those strides need to be larger. Until then, I don't need more attention on myself than I already have. People should see who I am, not what I am."

"And what are you?"

"I'm sorry?"

"How did you know the White Fang would be at the docks?"

"I didn't. I was just in the right place at the right time."

"Not the first time. Tonight's incident wasn't isolated, though. I'm not only a Headmaster, but a Huntsman with a sworn duty to protect this world from people conspiring against it. Are you sure there's nothing else you wish to tell me, Lapis."

"Yes, sir."

He nodded. "In that case, thank you for your time, Miss Lazuli." He said then stood p and headed to the door before turning to her. "Please don't hesitate to come to me if you need to talk." He added then left.

Alpha set a stick by her feet then she absently threw it a few feet away and Alpha chased it, picked it up and brought it back to her. When he dropped it at her feet, a gloved hand picked it up and Lapis saw Neo. Lapis smiled softly as Neo threw the stock and Alpha ran after it while Neo sat down next to her idol. Their teammates walked to them.

"Everything okay?" The mute girl signed.

Lapis sighed. "I don't know. I guess I just don't understand how people can be so calm."

"Thinking about the Black Rose still?" Cinder asked.

"The Black Rose, the White Fang, the Burning Suns, all of it!" Lapis said, standing up and turning to them. "Big things are happening and nobody is doing something about it!"

"Oz said to not worry. I'm sure the police and Huntsmen can handle it." Ragora said .

"I'm not! They don't know the White Fang like I do! Ozpin doesn't even know Blake like I do! Not anymore!"

"Lapis, we're students. We're not ready for this." Vella said.

"We may never be ready! The enemy won't wait until we graduate! They're planning something out there right now and none of us know what it is! But we know it's coming, regardless if we're ready or not!"

"Then I say we become the youngest Huntsmen and Huntresses to bring down a bunch of organizations conspiring against Vale. All in favor?" Mercury asked and everyone agreed.

Lapis smiled. "Then let's hatch a plan." She said before hearing Alpha bark. She turned and saw Steel, Lysette, Miltia, and Onyx, who were wearing Haven uniforms, nearby. "Alpha!" She called and he ran to her. "Sorry about that!" She called to the new arrivals.

"It's alright." Steel assured her. "My teammates and I are here for the Festival Tournament. Do you know where the Haven guest rooms are?"

Cinder have them directions then welcomed them to Beacon as they started to walk away.

That's chapter nine

Quick note, I'm debating on giving this story a different cover image, one that is fanart and has Cinder, Mercury, Emerald, and Neo as Team CMSN. If anyone wishes to handle that, please PM me
