-3rd person-
On the day prior to the Tournament, Lapis sent out seven texts from her Scroll. She asked them to meet her at the statue in front of Beacon. She was already at the statue and soon heard footsteps approaching her and turned to see the seven recipients. They were Cinder, Sun Wukong, Neptune Vasilias, Simin Megistus, Lycan Arcadia, Vella Moisia, and Ragora Cinarum, the latter four making up Team SLVR.
Lapis smiled at them. "Thank you all for meeting with me." She said.
"I hope there's a reason for this." Ragora said.
The blue haired Faunus nodded. "There is, Ragora. Professor Ozpin has recently agreed with me to make my exhibition matched invitation only."
Simin seemed to catch on. "And that's why you reached out to us. You want us to be your opponents."
"Exactly." Lapis said.
"Nice!" Sun said excitedly.
"Team SLVR will be the ones I fight first to help kick off the qualifiers, then Sun and Neptune will face me before the semifinals, and then Cinder and I will help kick off the finals." The silver eyed girl said. "I'd like to meet up with each of you guys throughout the day to get a first hand look at what to expect from you all in the fights. Professor Goodwitch was kind enough to allow us to use the school's amphitheater for today. Simin, when would you and your team like to fight me?"
"How about after breakfast?" He suggested.
Lapis smiled and nodded then looked at the other three. "You guys are welcome to watch as well."
The three nodded, smiling then all eight headed to breakfast.
-Lapis-
I sit with Team RWBY and Team JNPR at breakfast.
"And where were you?" Nora asks.
I look at her. "Meeting with Team SLVR, Sun and Neptune, and Cinder and telling them that they are the ones I'll be fighting in the exhibition matches. I'm meeting with Team SLVR after breakfast in the amphitheater to test their skills."
"Team SLVR's a strong team. You sure you can handle handle them?" Blake asks.
I look at her. "Blake, I've faced down 30 Beowolves, 15 Ursai, 20 Nevermores, and a Deathstalker. I think I can handle Simin and his team, Sun and Neptune, and Cinder." I say.
"Okay." She says.
After that, we eat our breakfast then once finished, I throw my trash away and head to the amphitheater.
I do some stretching while I wait for the others then I soon see Team SLVR, Sun and Neptune, and Cinder arrive. The latter three are up in the stands while Simin and his team surround me. Simin uses Kore Kosmou to form a sword with fire Dust and then form a shield with ice Dust. Lycan has Razorbolt set to use his daggers as claws with a smirk on his face, Vella sets Chatareus to bow mode, and Ragora sets Hexentanz to its glaive form. I draw Blood Blade and smirk at them.
"Please tell me one of you guys is gonna tell me to hold back." I joke to them.
"You kidding? No chance!" Lycan says.
"Lycan's right. Don't hold back, Lapis." Simin says.
I pop my neck. "In that case, I'll try not to cut one of you guys too severely." I tell them.
Lycan charges first and I block his claws with my sword then punch him in the face. Simin runs up to me and we clash swords three times before I break his shield then kick him back. My wolf ears tell me Vella's running up behind me so I jump into a backflip then push her forward with my feets. She recovers quickly and fires at me with Chatareus. I jam my sword into the ground to slow me down then I turn to Ragora and charge at her but she blocks my sword.
"Let's keep this fair and not use our Semblances for this match, cutie." I say.
"Like I need my familiar to take you down." She smirks. "I watched your fight yesterday so I saw what you can do."
I smirk then pull the trigger by my left hand and we're blasted apart. I look at her with a smirk while she's looking at me surprised. "Not everything I can do, Purple Eyes."
Lycan yells a battle cry and charges at me, but I block his attacks.
-3rd person-
Sun, Neptune, and Cinder were intently watching Lapis fight. Having fought her in the past, Cinder had some idea of how skilled Lapis was. Sun and Neptune, however, were amazed to watch Lapis fight.
"Man, she's good." Sun said.
"Yeah. Now I'm kinda scared to fight her." Neptune said.
"I've heard she's even faced down whole packs of Grimm and survived with barely a scratch." Cinder told them as Lapis slashed Lycan twice then kicked him hard into a wall, running his Aura into the red.
Simin ran to Lapis, who blocked his sword with hers.
-Lapis-
"Guess you really do have a rep." He tells me.
"Comes from having Huntsmen and Huntresses in my family for generations." I tell him then jump up to avoid Ragora, who was trying to get me with a sneak attack and she accidentally hits Simin as I flip forward then turn to see Simin checking his Scroll.
"Girls, my Aura's in the red. It's up to you two now." He tells them.
Vella quickly fires at my feet and I see it's one of her binding glyphs, hinting she was about to use her Semblance. I look up in time to see her kick her boot into my face. I grab her boot and spin once then toss her back to Ragora, who charges ahead and I block her glaive. She smirks then I see her finger on her trigger and sidestep her as she pulls said trigger. She glances at me as I kick her in her upper arm and send her rolling before turning to Vella and switch Blood Blade to rifle mode and set it to full auto then squeeze the trigger.
Vella is barely able to dodge all the round and I soon land on my feet.
Simin looks at his Scroll then to all of us. "That's the match. Lapis's aura is still in the yellow while the rest of ours are in the red." He says.
I smile and help Vella to her feet. "You guys fight like this in the real match, you might come close to beating me." I say.
"Think so?" Ragora asks.
I nod at her. "Definitely. You guys are skilled fighters too." I tell them then look at Sun and Neptune and Cinder. "Sun and Neptune, after lunch? Then you and me after dinner, Cinder?"
"I'm down." Sun says.
"Works for me." Neptune agrees.
"Seems fair." Cinder tells me.
I smile then we all go about our day.
