Midnight Pretenders
It had been a couple of weeks since Izuku lost his collar.
Midnight was acting as if they were never intimate. Her attitude towards him was indifferent during classes and she completely ignored him after school hours, he was only ever able to interact with her when her duties as a teacher required her to.
Izuku felt hollow. He had hurt Uraraka and also unknowingly Nemuri, and by the time he realized what he had done it was too late. 'I should have realized it wasn't simply a physical relationship but... I was just too scared.'
In truth every time Midnight had lured out his lust, he was, willingly, breaking his own morals and it terrified him, what if he spiraled too far down? He kept having to convince himself it was purely physical and that it was the same for Nemuri, 'Because, at least like that, I was able to believe I had a shred of decency... but I was wrong.'
They were currently in the middle of a hero presentation class being taught by Midnight in their classroom. Izuku was staring out the window as he thought about his situation with his teacher, subconsciously tugging at the tie around his neck as if it was his collar.
Nemuri was dealing with her own internal turmoil the past few days. In the glimpsing moments where their eyes met during school, all she saw was a scared puppy desperate for its owner's attention. She wanted nothing more than to pet and cuddle with him and tell him his punishment is over but she was also at conflict. Midoriya deserved to live his life as a proper youth without an adult misguiding him down this depraved path... but oh how she craved him.
At first, she just wanted to give in to her urges and told herself she would just tease him but the moment it happened and she had his head locked around her legs under her desk at the faculty office, she knew she wouldn't be able to deny herself anymore. Then once she was coming to terms that she might be able to get away with acting on her urges, Midoriya rejected her to go with his classmate, to go with Uraraka. She was in conflict with her personal desire to have a relationship with Izuku and her moral duty as a hero and teacher to give her student a proper future.
Both Izuku and Nemuri were struggling with their emotions and ethics.
It was after school hours and Izuku was trying to build his nerve up, standing next to the doorway that led to their classroom. Midnight was the only one in there, sitting behind the teacher's desk with her legs crossed as she did paperwork. Usually, she could be found in the faculty office when not teaching but ever since Izuku and her stopped seeing each other, she had resorted to isolating herself in an empty classroom with the setting sunlight radiating through the windows as the tranquil silence of the ending day kept her company. And yet despite the melancholy swimming in her eyes, her sultry figure always accentuated those prominent curves as her bodysuit had a sensual gleam due to the rays of the setting sun.
Izuku took a deep breath before stepping and turning into the classroom. he would have walked further in after the few steps he took but couldn't because,
'When I saw her, I don't know why but I suddenly felt sad. It didn't feel like I was looking at the R-Rated Hero or even the teacher that I had gotten to know intimately. In that moment, to me, it felt like I was staring at someone who was too used to being alone.'
And it didn't make sense to Izuku because if anything Midnight was one of the most high-ranking social heroes and was beloved by many despite or because of her provocative nature. She even specialized in those types of classes, haven just given one with her usual passion, so why was he feeling this empathy?
"Midoriya, don't you think it is rather rude to gawk at me when you didn't pay attention at all during class?" Midnight asked with callous indifference, not raising her eyes off the papers on the desk.
He flinched from being caught off guard and also from her cold voice. He stuttered an answer as he adjusted his tight tie, pulling on it with his finger as he tried to breathe calmly, now only able to look in every other direction except looking directly at Nemuri. "A-Actually th-that's why I'm here," He nervously ruffled his hair as he cleared his throat, "I w-was hoping to get s-some notes on y-your lecture earlier. Social interactions are still my weakness."
Midnight paused on her paperwork. She inhaled and exhaled, letting her bosom heave up and down, before she finally raised her head from her desk, turning to him, ever so slowly. And as she was doing that, she had also pulled open one of her desk drawers, reaching into it, pulling an object out, placing it on her desk over the papers. She then placed her elbow on the desk, beside it as she rested her cheek on the palm of her hand as her fingers curled around her cheekbone almost hiding one of her eyes, as if to almost deny herself of his reaction.
Izuku's eyes instantly focused on it, his eyes vivid with want. On her desk, it laid there innocently, it was his collar.
"Midoriya, couldn't you have easily asked one of your little friends for the notes?" She got his attention with her voice. His eyes snapped to hers, but he didn't know if she was looking at him with amusement or boredom.
It flustered Izuku and his stuttering words became an incomprehensible wreck, "I-I, u-ugh," With him just mumbling along those lines.
After being satisfied with his embarrassment, she began to speak again, but her voice was no longer indifferent and cold, it was dominant yet tender, "Or is it, that you want this back?" Referring to the collar his eyes kept darting back to. Midnight closed her eyes, letting out another sensual sigh before opening her eyes and continuing,
"I'll give you a choice, you can turn around and either go ask your classmates for the notes... or you can lock the door and stay for a private lesson."
Thanks for reading, this chapter was originally titled private lesson but as you can see I split the chapter into two with the next one going to be the one with that title, as this chapter is more of an exploration on their internal struggles and temptations so instead this chapter was titled after a song of the same name, because I feel like the lyrics fit Midnights character in this fic, so yeah. Anyways like I've said before I am not abandoning this fic, it's just really difficult to write for a lot of reasons, it requires a lot of brain power because of the obvious ethical dilemmas and also another manga related reason that hits me in the feels Everytime I think about it so yeah, sorry for the long AN as I usually like to let my work speak for itself but felt it is only right to have one for this fic, considering how spaced out updates are as to reassure you guys that this fic is important and a priority for me.
Anyway till next time!
