This is it, this is the part where Lincoln and Luna show everyone what they can do when they tag team and sing, and with the rest of the band along for the ride. This'll be something for everyone to watch, and for perhaps some to see that Luna Loud chooses her own path and even if she ain't rock n' roll, she is still one talented gal, and shows just how awesome she is even in her own path. Enjoy reading guys.
Luna Rock n' Not.
Chapter 20.
(The Royal Woods Performance Center.)
Vanzilla arrives, and so does the pick-up truck from Sam, and even the van of Chunk. Everyone gets out and they look to the building, Lincoln and Luna, along with Sam, Sully and Mazzy take a look to the place and then Sully whistles. "Well, this sure is gonna be something."
Mazzy agrees with him. "Dang right, we're about to perform on a stage of true musical talent searching, and in front of so many watching from possibly the whole world! We're gonna be on freaking TV!"
Chunk then carries their speakers. "Don't get too bundled in the twists there mates, we're not on stage yet. Let's get the gear unloaded and then setup and then we can see if there is anything that needs some fixing, we got a lot to do before the night hits."
They all go over and help, but the Louds are busy talking about how awesome it is that Lincoln and Luna are gonna be on TV and so are the other band mates, something they have all been doing or wanting to do. Lincoln then checks his phone and he smiles, and then he puts the phone away and Luna goes over and asks. "So, what's the status on Jordan and the others?"
Lincoln then looks towards the others. "The Rosato's and the friends I know are all inside, and waiting for the show to begin. This is all gonna be so awesome, something we have never ever done before, sis."
Luna chuckles. "No kidding. We're gonna be on a stage where folks have been showing their best and hardest in musical talents, and whether we win or lose, what matters is that we showed everyone that the Jammin' Goats are dang awesome wicked musically talented, and with the kid who performed his best during the Royal Woods Elementary School Talent show."
Lincoln chuckles. "Yeah, I still can't forget that one..." Then the rest of the sisters go over and hug Lincoln and Luna, and so they return the hug as well, and each of them have something to say to them about what is happening now.
Lori. "This is literally an awesome day for you two. We're happy for you Lincoln, Luna. Go out there, and give it your all and show them how musically talented you two can be."
Leni. "No need to be nervous, but all of us are so excited and happy to see you guys perform on a stage like this and on live TV! It's so amazing and awesome and totes wicked cool! We're happy that you guys are becoming part of this, we know you guys can win."
Luan. "Now this is gonna be a class act that won't end up being upstaged, because the tones in what you guys can do cannot be cleft around and do nothing, there is always an upbeat to winning this talent show. Hahahaha! But still, you guys are gonna be awesome out there, we're all proud of you guys."
Lynn. "Heck, you guys got this in the bag. After the many times we have seen you two dudes perform, there is no freakin' way you guys can lose this. But, respect the competition and see what they can do, but still... You guy are gonna be MVP doing this one. You can do this, we're all cheering for you dudes."
Lucy. "Go and knock them dead, but not literally and don't break a leg for real or the whole thing won't go so well, we're all proud of you guys for getting this far."
Lana. "A dang shame we didn't bring the TV to watch you guys live and on TV. Also, I know you guys can win this! You two are both awesome and talented."
Lola. "I have been on TV myself, but to see you guys on a stage and talent show involving TV live for everyone possibly around the world?! Siblings, I am so jealous right now, but I am also proud of you both and I can't' wait to see you guys win this one!"
Lisa. "Though I have done my usual video chats and some TV appearances from my many wins and conferences and blue ribbons, I am happy to see you two hit something of the stardom level. But, win or lose, what matters is that you showed everyone that you are all talented, and chances mother and father will be seeing this."
Lily. "Yay! Winky and Wuna, on TV. Twy and win!"
Lincoln and Luna feel honored and happy to hear this from their siblings. "Thanks girls."
Luna then speaks. "We're not truly in this to win this, but if we do win this whole thing then we're just gonna want the cash prize and then hand the contract to someone else who deserves such talent to be known across the country, that's what we want."
Lincoln speaks next. "Because there is no way are we gonna go on tour and lose our cool. We'd rather be here with our friends and families, seems better than living a life on the open road."
All of them understand and then Luna sees a text message on her phone, from Michelle Lewis. "Michelle said that the show will start soon, so we'd all better get inside and setup an you guys need to go and take your seats. There's no backstage passes for anyone else, except for the talents that have to go on stage."
"And the roadie." Chunk walks by them with two speakers in his arms. The louds sisters all head inside, Sully and Mazzy follow Chunk with their instruments, while Sam goes over towards Lincoln and Luna.
"So, we are ready for this right? We remembered the lyrics to the song? Because, I think we should do a small rehearsal to remember how the song goes, I mean... This is just..."
Luna then passionately kisses Sam on the lips and Lincoln chuckles seeing this, then they depart and Sam looks dazed, and this makes Luna chuckle. "Hang in there, Sammy. Be calm and be cool, we're a band and we have each other's backs."
Lincoln then speaks up. "There is no time and no need to freak out, we can do this. Together."
Sam feels motivated and she sighs in relief. "Then let's go and do this thing."
They all walk towards the performance center, they got a musical talent TV show to ace.
(Moments Later.)
The lights turn on, and we arrive to the stage and someone is there and with a microphone.
"Good Evening America! My name is Michelle Lewis, and I am the host and judge of this final season of... America's Next Greatest Hitmaker!"
Everyone cheers at her announcement, and Michelle waves to everyone and even to the Louds, The Rosato's and the other friends and folks around Royal Woods, Michigan.
"Thank you. Now, we are live here in good old Royal Woods, Michigan and this Performance center being the center point for the talents from all around America to come and show us what they got. We have musical talents picked out from videos posted online, entries and auditions, and I have to say... the musical talents are all dang awesome and all it takes are the online votes from the viewers and the audience on who will be the winners of America's Next Greatest Hitmaker!"
"Just head onto our website, but only when the show is finally over and all the talents have shown how musically talented they are. So, without further ado... Let's get this show started! Bring on the musical talent folks!"
The crowd cheers again and Michelle leaves the stage and she heads to her seat at the judges table and she is the only one there and that's fine. She knows musical talent, something her currently in jail and former co-host, Doug Rockwell could never truly see.
Deep down, Michelle is stoked for this. 'Alright, I am the one running the shots and I know what I am doing. Time to see what we got, and then also see how well Luna and Lincoln are on stage and performing with the rest of the Band.'
(Backstage.)
Everyone is there, the folks who have come far and wide from around the country, all of them wanting to show off their best musical talent, and even those from within Royal Woods Michigan and some folks from Great Lakes City.
We have Vito who is going to perform an opera themed show with the help from his pet dogs, Tabby of course is there wanting to show her skills when it comes to the genre of rock n' roll, Belle Yates with her violin, and even Carol has her violin with her. Artie, Chad, Lance and Trent planning to do some rap stuff, I honestly don't know about that last bit.
Meanwhile, the Jammin' Goats and Lincoln are preparing with their own gear for what they gotta do for when the stage and show begins. As usual, Sully is on keyboard, Mazzy on drums, Sam on her bass, Lincoln has the electric guitar that Luna got him long ago, and of course we have Luna Loud, and she chose with her trusty acoustic guitar to perform and she knows how to make things right and sound musical.
They go through the lyrics one more time, then Lincoln notices someone he knows. "What the heck? Rusty Spokes, what the heck are you doing here?"
The others also see Rusty and he has a grand piano. "Oh, hey man. Well, I decided to participate and I wanna show everyone what I can do on the piano, and I am so gonna nail this one and make the ladies see..."
"Don't pull that trick Spokes" replied Sam who looks annoyed. "This trick you're trying to do is just gonna get ya into some serious trouble, or should we remind you of your dad who nearly got in trouble for spying on some High School girls in the Royal Woods Mall?" The others cross their arms and the other musical talents look to Rusty, they all heard what Sam had just said.
Rusty is surprised that hasn't died down, and then Lincoln speaks. "Rusty, they have a point. I mean, I don't wanna watch you go down a road to become your dad. You gotta pick your own choice, and not the road that you're old man ended up in."
Rusty sees that Lincoln is right, and so he just walks away and gets ready for when he has to perform. Luna then goes over to Lincoln. "Good job on calming him down, to be honest he is good on the piano. If only he can stop being a show off and stop flirting with girls. He has talent and skills, but his personality is... Off the meaning of trying to tolerate him."
Carol then walks by them. "And we can all blame his pops for that. Also, good luck out there guys, we know you're gonna be awesome."
They all smile hearing this, and then Lincoln looks towards Luna. "We're gonna be alright, sis. We're gonna be amazing out there."
Luna smiles, and she nods. "I know, I am a little nervous, and I should be brave and see that this can work. We can make this happen, and that win or lose, we're gonna show everyone that we are talented, and if our parents are watching this. Then this'll show them that Luna Loud doesn't have to be rock n' roll to be talented. I am musically talented and that's what matters."
"Amen to that, babe" replied Sam, she goes over and hugs Luna. Lincoln then joins in, and soon the rest of the band. They know they can do this, the once in a lifetime gig that they thought would never come, to show that this small mixed band from Royal Woods has what it takes to be called, Musically talented.
(Several Musical Talents later.)
After the rockin' performance from Tabby, the crowd goes wild and they cheer at her amazing rock n' roll gig. They didn't think someone like her could rock n' roll like that and show off an impressive display, and even with the special effects, which Chunk helped with, favored by Luna and Sam to help Tabby have a small boost in her performance.
Tabby then heads to the backstage and she high fives with the other musical talents, and even towards Luna, Lincoln, Sam, Sully, Mazzy and Chunk. "Now that was rockin' fun and awesome!" She then goes over to speak with her parents, they are proud at what she did, though her older brother doesn't seem to be in the mood to even care about this.
Lincoln chuckles and then he goes over and he grabs his electric guitar, and then he sees Luna with her trusty acoustic and she sighs and takes a calming and deep breath, and so Lincoln goes towards her and he holds her hand. Luna notices this and she smiles. "Thanks little brother."
They then see the Stage Manager go towards them. "Alright, the Jammin' Goats are the last act. Time to get out there and make it shine guys." Then he realizes what he said at the last bit. 'Huh, that kinda sounded like the title of a song.'
The band then has their instruments and they head to the stage and the lights are dim and they begin to setup. As soon as they are done, the lights turn back on and they see the crowd staring at them, and the cameras are live, and Michelle gives them a thumbs up. They even see the rest of their sisters, and Jordan and they're friends from the Middle School and High School watching them, and they all wave to them and are showing expressions that they can do this thing.
Luna takes in a deep breath and she speaks. "Hello Royal Woods and all of the country, we are the Jammin' Goats, and we're gonna be showing you, that life is better loud! Let's hit it, crew!"
Mazzy nods and she taps her drumsticks and they begin the beat and the song.
(Lincoln Loud.) Woke up just like any morning.
New day sent sunlight pouring down.
Danced on to the beat of drumming.
High hopes get my feet off the ground.
(Luna Loud.) Heart stopped, didn't see you coming.
Felt like you took my breath away.
I knew this was the start of something.
And I think I knew you felt the same.
(Lincoln and Luna.) Time frozen, eyes open.
Spun my world around in motion.
Just a step away.
Just a slip of fate.
(Lincoln Loud.) Oh, you'd never know how one simple interaction.
(Luna Loud.) Could lead you down a road where anything can always happen.
(Lincoln and Luna.) The picture in our mind changes all the time.
Bigger than what we'd imagined.
We wouldn't change a thing about it now.
Life is better loud.
(Instrumental scene and Guitar solo from Sam Sharp.)
(Lincoln and Luna.) Oooh-Oooh-Ooh-Ooh.
Ain't no stopping now.
Life is better loud.
(Luna Loud.) Oh, it feels like home no matter where we are together.
(Lincoln Loud.) Wish we'd always known the bigger crowd was always better.
(All band members.) We wouldn't change a thing about it now.
Life is better loud (In the Loud House! In the Loud House!)
Life is better loud (In the Loud House! In the Loud House!)
Loud House!
Everyone cheers from what they performed and Michelle stands up and she cheers and claps from this, but it is the loud sisters who are the loudest and Albert (Pop-pop) as well, they are all proud and happy at them and this performance and deep down Jordan is in deep bliss and happy at that song they performed. 'I look forward to many more adventures with them, an amazing life with Lincoln Loud.'
The Jammin' Goats and Lincoln feel proud at what they performed and they all take a bow and cherish the cheers from the crowd at what they performed, they didn't think it would be that awesome for everyone to hear, and they can see the others backstage are cheering for them as well.
Then Michelle speaks to the camera with her microphone. "Alright everyone, that was dang awesome and I don't know what to say, but Life is Better Loud. Now, to everyone at home watching from around the country and the world and to the folks here in the audience, you guys are the ones who will vote on who wins! Just head to our website and pick your vote now!"
Everyone gets to that, and soon the band leaves the stage with everything they have. Lincoln then looks to his big sister. "That went better than we expected sis, you think we might win?"
Luna chuckles and pulls her brother close to her. "We're not sure little brother. Let's see what the folks think about what we did."
(Royal Woods Penitentiary.)
All of the inmates are hoping for the talent they chose to win, and some are hoping for the Jammin' Goats to win, while Lynn Sr and Rita watch the whole thing from the TV. The loud parents are amazed, and they feel happy in seeing how amazing their two children were on stage.
This has them deep thinking and now realizing everything they have done.
Rita. 'Luna was right, she is an amazing and talented person. This path she took, this role of responsibility does prove that she is better at taking care of the others than what Lynn and I could pull off. We need to step up, and do what we can to ace these parenting lessons, for the kids.'
Lynnard. 'Dang, so I guess I was so wrong. I thought having Luna take into the Rock n' Roll genre was a good idea, but this... Luna has shown she is talented and to help Lincoln with his talent too. I really did fail as a father, and I should've done something to step up and be the patriarch of the house.'
But deep down, both Rita and Lynn Sr are happy to see that Luna has proven them wrong, she doesn't need rock n' roll to be herself. Luna Loud is whoever Luna Loud chooses to be, and she chose to be this musically gifted girl, with the wits, skills and responsibilities of an older sibling to her family.
With what they have seen, now Lynn Sr and Rita are determined to finish and make things right with Parenting Classes, and go home to be the parents they should be.
(In Great Lakes City.)
Ronnie Anne, Sid and Bobby begin to send their votes, and they know who to vote for the amazing performance, while Maria, Adelaide, Becca and Stanley watch this happen, and then Becca sees her husband doing the same on his phone. "You wanna do this too, Stanley?"
"Hush, I wanna make sure Luna and Lincoln and they're band win. Because that song meant so true to me." Stanley then clicks vote, and he sighs in relief. "Heck, I did grew up with a lot of cousins, and they're all back in China."
Becca thinks about. "Oh, what the heck." She then grabs her phone and she too puts in her vote. Seeing this, Adelaide joins in as well, and her little friend on her Froggy.
Maria chuckles. 'Perhaps I should do the same. After all, I have a big familia and living life loud is dang awesome, sometimes. Chances the others at the apartment are doing the same and voting for them as well.'
Then Sid asks. "You think they know how to perform K-Pop songs?"
(Royal Woods Juvenile Detention Hall.)
We see a lot of the juvenile delinquents are watching the show and loved the performance by the two louds and their band mate's, but Chandler on the other hand scoffs. "Big deal, they ain't so talented" He places his feet on the table of the cafeteria. "They don't have the talents to be as better as..."
Chandler then sees all of the inmates there look to him in anger. "Wait, what the heck are you all looking at me for?!"
He then sees that they have tattoos of the Jammin' Goats. "We've been they're fans ever since, and we loved their performances before we got stuck in here!"
"We're not gonna let you bad mouth the best dang band in Royal Woods! Boys, let's teach this fresh meat dirt bag a lesson!" This guy cracks his knuckles and the others all agree and they close their circle around Chandler.
All Chandler can do now, is take a beating from his new friends who are fans of the band from the TV, sucks to be Chandler right about now guys. The guards? They watch as this goes on, Chandler has been an annoying pain in the rear since he got there.
Also, this is not the first time he ticked off some of the local delinquents in the place.
(Back to the Royal Woods Performance Center.)
Soon, all the talent from the back come out and they all fall in line on the stage then Michelle is given the letter that contains the votes that were counted online on their website. "Okay everyone. This is it, this is the big reveal. We have the votes counted, and I wanna thank everyone who showed up to watch this and to those at home watching from their TV's, phones and PC's, thanks for voting and now, the winner of this last season of America's Next Greatest Hitmaker is..."
Michelle opens the envelope and she is surprised by what she had read, and everyone else is excite and waiting. "The Royal Woods Jammin' Goats!"
Everyone gets up and cheers and even the folks watching from the TV are cheering and happy at this announcement, and the confetti flies around and the other talent cheer and clap for them. Because the song was an impressive thing they have never heard, and was something amazing.
The Jammin' Goats and Lincoln Loud are surprised the most, they didn't seven see this coming. Luna then cheers. "We won! We freakin' won!" The band come together and hug it out, and are in tears. They just won America's Next Greatest Hitmaker, and everyone continues to cheer for them.
Then the Louds sisters and the Rosato's head on stage and they join in and hug Lincoln, Luna, Sam, Sully and Mazzy, and then Chunk comes in and hugs them as well. Lincoln looks towards Luna. "We won, we won Luna! We actually won!"
Luna smiles and she wipes away her tears. "I know little brother, I know. We won! We freaking won."
Then Michelle Lewis goes over to them and she speaks. "Guys, congratulations on the win! So, I need to ask... What are you guys gonna do with the one million dollars and the Musical Hitmaker Contract?" Luna then sees the rest of her band mates looking to her and they smile and agree with the original plan, and so Luna smiles and she answers Michelle's question through the microphone.
"Michelle, we don't need a musical contract to be famous and all that, because we'd rather have our lives here in Royal Woods with our families. We'll take the one million bucks, but the Musical Hitmaker contract... Now, we think it deserves to go to someone who deserves it. Someone who has the musical talent and has been working hard to make it this far and try to become someone..."
Luna then looks to the other musical talents and then she speaks on who it is. "Belle Yates." everyone is surprised and they cheer hearing this and Belle is surprised and she looks around and is confused even her family is amazed and they clap and go on stage and hug Belle. Luna then continues.
"After what she pulled, I saw how passionate and how dedicated she was when she did her all and showed her best with the violin, and I haven't seen that kinda talent since I did that myself. She reminds me of myself back when I stuck to the violin, and I know she can become someone more than what she chose, and with her family along for the ride. A better and amazing future."
The others also agree, everyone saw how amazing and elegant and also beautiful her violin playing was. Belle is in tears and she looks towards Luna. "Thank you, thank you Luna Loud."
Luna smiles and she nods. "You're welcome Belle, Yates." Then everyone cheers and claps, and the Louds and the band are handed the one million dollar check and the Musical Hitmaker contract is handed to Belle Yates, and she feels happy to have been given this, something she never saw coming.
They all look to the crowd and they take a bow and then Lincoln looks to Luna. "You are a talented gal, Luna. We make a dang good brother and sister team, sis."
Luna chuckles and she hugs her brother and so Lincoln returns the embrace. "Thanks little brother." they then depart from the hug and look to the crowd and wave, and deep down Luna feels that no matter what happens to her future, she will always be the same old musically inclined Luna Loud... Rock n' Not, what does it matter... She's Luna Loud.
"The End."
A/N: That wraps things up and ends it on what could be something that took me a long while to establish, but I pulled it through and even gave the Yates something to be happy about, and I can say officially that this story is over, and no way am I gonna make a continuation of this thing. Holy moly, this was an awesome thing to make, it really was.
This took some time to make, and I should be honest... After I made 10 new chapters of my other four stories, I spent the rest of the time making a few chapters of this story and it felt nice to take a small break and make something in between what I was originally focused on. But, this has to end and I gotta get back to what I usually do.
I am proud and happy to have made this story, well to have remade this story from the original one, and I wanna say thanks to those who have been reading this whole story and supporting it, thanks everyone you have all been awesome and amazing critics and readers, thanks a lot folks. So, leave a review and tell me what you all think guys, thanks for reading this too.
Now, this story is a reconstructed version from the original story of the same name, which was made by the authors: Marvelomac1010 and Lincoln Loud420 they are the ones who started it, and I wanted to help revive the whole thing, and I thank for them for letting me do this. Also, thank you Marvelomac1010 for helping me down this reconstruction as well, dude.
