"Ugh where am I?" asks a voice.
[YOU HAVE DIED!]a loud feminine voice booms out within the owner of the first voices head.
"Ouch too loud" The First voice responds to the loud shout that sounded out inside its mind.
[Sorry about that, I'm getting excited, it's not often the soul of an old God gets to be reborn]the feminine voice apologises.
"Wait what do you mean old god? And reborn?" the voice was considerably confused, it remembered its past life, he was a guy that was 30 years old that died, wait how did he die? And that isn't the only missing memory, he couldn't remember his own name or his family's.
"what's going on? Why can't I remember certain things?" he asks the loud mental voice "and who are you? What do I call you?" he finishes thinking calling someone a mental voice was very weird.
[Oh yes yes, let me explain first then you can ask your questions without interrupting, ok?] the mental voice asks "ok" the first voice answers. [And you can call me Isis for the moment] the newly named Isis Said.
"What? Like the goddess Isis?" the first voice interrupts.
[why yes, Goddess Isis, Egyptian Goddess of wisdom, magic and kingship, although that is not me, it is the one I was named after. Now don't interrupt again, we have a lot to get through] Isis said a smidgen annoyed at being interrupted right after saying not to interrupt.
[Ok so an old god soul in a soul that was a god before it died, most times when a god dies their soul is destroyed as they are very spiritual beings, now when an old god dies, and its soul isn't destroyed it usually need trillions of years of reincarnation before it's built up enough of its old power to regain its divinity but that's where I come in] says Isis sounding very proud of herself. She continues [ I am a system you created as a god before your died. I am designed to help you regain your power much quicker by helping you control your powers and enhancing your new body and using some power the godly you gifted me to help you move about dimensions].
[Now have you understood all that? Good] continuing before giving the voice a chance to answer which was ok as the voice was following along even if it was having trouble believing, from the memories it had, there was nothing Godly about him at all.
[Let's move onto your memory's then, your memory of your death was removed due to mental health concerns, let's just say that a memory of burning to death is not a memory anyone would want.] causing the first voice to mentally gulp and agree, it isn't a memory he regrets not having. But what about the other memories? Before he can interrupt Isis continues [As for your memories of a personal nature, they were deleted to ease your journey into your new life, you will remember likes and dislikes, interests, hobbies, school, working but not friends or family or even your own name or face. It is time for a new start Master]
"Master?" the voice asks.
[Yes, Master, you did create me, so I am here to serve you. I guess I could call you daddy if you prefer?] asks Isis in what could only be described as an attempt at a seductive voice.
"NO! Master is just fine I guess, till I get a name anyway. As a so-called old God, What was my name? What was I a god of?" the voice asks quite excited about finding out he used to be a god, was he a creation god like the Christian god? Or maybe a god over certain domains like Hades' god of the underworld, or Odin the All-Father.
[Hmm oh I'm not allowed to tell you about your life as an old god as it may influence your choices, although there is a chance that you will be slightly predisposed to your old domains anyway, as for what kind of god, you were much more powerful than those gods you mentioned, they are just minor world gods, and the Christian god is called Yahweh and he isn't a creation god, he's a trickster god that tricked loads of other gods followers into following him by stealing their solemn holy days and turning them into fun holidays, see holy/holi, total scam, nearly all other gods on earth hate him] Isis finishes shocking the voice with that mind-shattering piece of information before he starts to giggle then burst out laughing.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA oh that's too funny, can you just picture all those stuffy Christians once they die expecting to go to heaven and they just meet a god who shouts "JOKE" HAHAHAHA" the voice gradually calms down glad he wasn't a god on earth, he would have hated Yahweh too.
[Now Master, let's move on and explain your situation, but hmm let's get you a new name first, what would you like to be called?] Isis asks the voice. The voice thinks what he would like to be called, he remembers he always used to hate boring names like most people had, although being a powerful god called Bob would be amusing for like 10 seconds, it would get old very quickly. His mind jumps first to all the books, films and anime he ever watched or read for some inspiration.
The voice was running through ideas, the oh so tempting Shiro or Kuro that he recalls were his go-to avatar names when he played games, but he had a niggling feeling someone was already using them somewhere, 'weird' he thought to himself before moving on. He kept thinking till he settles on a name for himself.
"Ok, Isis I have decided on a name" the voice states out to his system.
[Yes master, what name have you chosen?] Isis asks.
"I have decided to be named Alucard. I have always liked Vampires and being named after Dracula appeals to me, not to mention Alucard is awesome in Hellsing." the now-named Alucard says, informing Isis of his choice.
[Very good master Alucard, next we will be designing how you look] Isis asks him.
"What? Isis, do I get to decide how I look? Would that not depend on what my parents would look like in my next life?" Alucard asks Isis, not really understanding how he could design how he looks.
[Oh Master, I knew I was forgetting something in all this excitement, the system you created, me, was designed to help you gain powers by going to different worlds and giving you the opportunity to gain powers while you're there. I will insert you into worlds and depending on the world give you a back story or family or just drop you in with nothing, a lot of it will be decided by your own choices. But you will decide your default appearance now, though it may change in the future for one reason or another] Isis informed her master, giving him a better understanding of what is happening.
[Now master I will set you up like you would create a character in a video game, just control your choices by thinking about it] says Isis.
At that moment Alucard can see a screen in front of him showing a picture of a man in the nude that could only be described as average at about 25 years old, the nudity didn't bother Alucard either like he expected it would others, a part of his past life that he could remember was going through basic training in the army and communal showers get rid of any awkwardness with dealing with the nude form very fast, honestly, once you get over it you realise how childish you were being in the first place. There were no tabs to change his appearance but once Alucard focused on changing his hair from a boring brown to neon green it changed, although he was quite fond of neon green, maybe not the best colour for his hair. After playing around a bit and changing the avatar into different celebrities he decides that since he is called Alucard he may as well use him as a base, though he would be using the Alucard from Castlevania, keeping the aristocratic look but adding to the height up to 6'3" and adding a bit more bulk to the quite slim body. Building the body up to a gymnasts build with well-defined muscles. He then decided that white hair styled like Geralt from Witcher 3 or Ragnar Lothbrok from Vikings would be better than the long light blonde that was there. He changes the eyes to orange with red and yellow flecks through them, making it look like flowing magma. A few final tweaks, getting rid of excess body hair since he could, who wants to be excessively hairy or have hairy fingers or feet? Not him that's for sure. He just got rid of nearly all body hair except for a few exceptions and he gave himself a decent endowment because any guy would, well any guy with any sense would if given the option.
Happy with his avatar, or should he say his new body. "Hey, Isis, will I be starting as an adult?" Alucard asks his system.
[Hmm it depends on the world master, some you will start as your default though many you will start much younger, you will get giving the information beforehand] Isis answers her master. [Now that you have created your very handsome body let us move on to the next stage, you will have to pick your first world, now you will not get to choose again so be careful, here are your choices] says Isis as a list appears in front of Alucard's face listing out thousands of worlds.
Looking through the list Alucard was shocked and excited at some of the prospects but many he wanted would be too dangerous to start with, as much as he wanted to, Marvel or DC would be difficult no matter how much he wanted the chance to seduce some of those heroines and villainesses. Alucard decides to ask if there is a way to shorten the list. "Hey, Isis, can you cut down this list to only the ones that start at the start of their education and no cultivation worlds yet, far too dangerous."
[Yes master, here you go] answers Isis as the list updates, a few hundred stand out, but he cuts it down to a four.

· Hunter x Hunter
· Irregular at Magic Highschool
Looking at the 4 he sees he starts looking at the pros and cons of each one, although "Hey Isis, are the worlds cannon or AU?" he asks for a very important piece of information.
[Hmm that depends, master, If I was you, I would just assume it will be AU to be safe master] Isis responds not filling Alucard with confidence. He looks over his 4 choices again before taking Irregular at a magic high school of the list, although he is a fan of the world, the cast are basically living weapons with a lot of military and national oversight, which he wants to avoid. Hunter x Hunter is also off the list as it is a very dangerous world, a lot of people die during that first stage, he will want to be more used to his strength before trying that.
That just leaves Harry Potter vs Naruto, thinking about it, the villains in them are in totally different leagues, Voldemort who struggles to beat an old man although an admittedly strong old man and rarely fights a straight-up battle, keener on hit and run tactics or Madara, who charges an army of 4000 Ninja Assassins and tears through them like a hot knife through butter. Harry Potter it is then, he decides.
"Hey Isis, go ahead and put me down for a harry potter world. What do we do next? Anything I need to know?" Alucard asks, wanting to get as much information as possible before he begins.
[Good Choice Master, now unlike in the stories that you may have read about like jump chains, you will have to earn everything that's not in your starter pack during your time in the world instead of paying points to get it beforehand, you also will not have a warehouse, but you will have a hub world. With me so far?] Isis asks her master.
"Yeah Isis, what's the starter pack and will harry potter world be my hub world?" Alucard asks.
[Well, the starter pack is basically your starting position and any items you will have, I have taken the liberty of choosing for your first world master, I know you will enjoy it] She says slyly.
[As for your hub world, it will not be the harry potter world, it will be a pocket dimension that will be made by adding all property's that you own at the end of each world. If you only own a house and garden, then that's all that would be your hub world till you do your next world and get more property] Isis informs Alucard. Alucard is seeing lots of possibilities with this, he will make sure he owns everything he needs before moving on, which reminds him "Isis what do I do to move to the next world?".
[Oh, that depends on the world, some have objectives, and some have time limits, some have both, this harry potter world that you will be going to will have both, defeat Voldemort and a minimum 10-year stay from when you wake up.] Says Isis.
"Do I need to defeat Voldemort personally or just make sure he is defeated?" Alucard asks, there is a prophecy involved after all.
[Just make sure he is defeated; Now are you ready to begin Master?] Isis asks seemingly very keen to go.
"Eh already? Don't you need to tell me about my start?" asks Alucard not wanting to rush into anything and secretly a little nervous.
[Do not worry Master, you will get all the information when you arrive] nonchalantly informs him.
Still a little worried, but mentally grits his teeth "Let's go then Isis, Let's go do some Magic"
