Chapter 6: The idea.
[No One's POV].
Toshiro woke up and saw that he was laying on a futon but the thing was, the blanket, pillow, walls, floor and ceiling was covered in ice. Toshiro sat up and breathed out, a smoke of frost came out of his mouth. Unlike other's breaths when they're released in cold weathers, the breaths go up, his went down to the blanket and froze it even more.
Toshiro got up from the frozen futon and opened the frozen door, with some difficulty, and walked out of the frozen room. He walked down the hall and put his hand on another door. He could hear people talking.
"I can't believe he's already awakened his Shinigami powers already." Isshin sighed.
"I apologise, Isshin. I was my fault as I left the Hogyoku out, I should've kept an eye on the time." Kisuke said. Isshin chuckled.
"It's fine, Kisuke. Toshiro is still a child and children do tend to touch things they aren't supposed to." Isshin said. Toshiro gulped and opened the door.
"Papa? Mr. Kisuke?" Toshiro said, popping his head in the room. Kisuke and Isshin looked at Toshiro and smiled.
"Come in, Toshiro. We need to talk." Isshin said. Toshiro nodded and walked in. He closed the door and walked to the table. He sat next to Isshin.
"What's wrong? Am I in trouble?" asked Toshiro. Kisuke shook his head.
"No Toshiro, you're not. We do need to talk about the ice that always appears, especially when you're asleep." Kisuke said seriously. Toshiro gulped.
"I don't when they first appeared." said Toshiro. Isshin placed his hand on Toshiro's head.
"It's fine, Toshiro. No one knows when those types of dreams come and when they first appear." said Isshin. Toshiro's eyes widened and look up at Isshin.
"You mean, I'm not the only one who has them?" Toshiro asked curiously.
"No, you're not. Many others before you have. Me and Mr. Kisuke has had those dreams before." said Isshin. Toshiro smiled lightly but then frowned.
"But why do I have it?" asked Toshiro. Isshin sighed. Him and Kisuke explained to Toshiro about the Soul Society, Seireitei, Shinigami, Quincies, Hollows, how Isshin and Kisuke are Shinigami, Aizen, Aizen's plans, the Hogyoku and how Isshin met Masaki.
After a few hours of explaining, Toshiro kept quiet. He stared at his lap. Isshin sighed.
"I should head home. It's getting late. Kisuke, do you mind training Toshiro with his Shinigami abilities?" asked Isshin.
"Of course!" Kisuke said.
"Wait," Toshiro said. Both adults looked at the child.
"What's wrong, Shiro?" asked Isshin.
"If this Aizen guy needs the Hogyoku to create these things called 'Arrancars' and the Hogyoku cannot be destroyed, why not create a new Hogyoku which can destroy the current Hogyoku?" suggested Toshiro. The two adults froze. Kisuke hid his face behind his fan in embarrassment.
'Why didn't I think of that?' thought Kisuke.
"Also, you said that the Hogyoku can give Shinigami the powers of Hollows and Hollows the powers of Shinigami, why not have the new one give Shinigami the powers of Hollow temporary?" Toshiro also suggested.
Isshin chuckled while Kisuke refused to look at anyone.
"That's a good idea, my little Genius!" smiled Isshin. He picked up Toshiro and hugged him.
"Put me down, Goat-Chin!" Toshiro yelled.
Translations:
Papa = Dad.
Shinigami = Death God.
Quincy = Monk of Destruction.
