"Previously on Total Drama Revenge of the Island," Chris recapped, "our teams went wild with balloons. Just not the kind you think. Mike proved to be very skilled, but the Mutant Maggots still lost and had to vote someone off. So, Amy told everyone that Samey was lame-y. But Samey posed as Amy, so Amy took the blame-y. Shame-y on Samey. And soon, we'll start the game-y with tonight's most horrifying challenge in Total Drama history!" Chef then walked out onto the dock in a dressy peacock outfit. "Seriously?" Chris asked.

"Wardrobe was out of monster costumes," Chef told him.

"It's all scary, except for that, right here, right now on Total...Drama...Revenge of the Island!" Chris then gave an ominous laugh.

It was the middle of the night. Everyone was still sound asleep. A firefly flew next to Dawn, who was wearing a purple nightgown. She had awoken and cupped the bug near her ear. "What's that?" she asked it. "Darkness is lurking? Let me guess, Chris? Hmm, not only him?" She saw Mike pacing outside. "Maybe I could..." he muttered, "No, it's a bad idea. I might...no, I can't."

"Is something troubling you?" Dawn suddenly asked him. She was now fully dressed and right behind him. "H-how did you- I didn't hear you-" Mike stuttered in shock.

"I could sense a great darkness in you. Could you tell me what's bothering you? You'll feel better." An air horn interrupted her thoughts. "Run! Run for your lives!" Chris told the campers. Everyone rushed out in a panic. "What's going on?!" Dave asked.

"Me first!" Scott told him.

"Out of my way!" Jasmine warned her teammates as she ran past. They soon saw that Dakota was blowing an air horn while Chris watched with earmuffs on. He signaled to her to stop, and she did. "Thanks, intern!" he shouted.

"Huh?" Dakota asked, now half-deaf.

Confessional: Dakota

"So after Chris agreed to let me stay, he put a restraining order on the paparazzi! So now I'm stuck here for no reason! And now he's making me, like, work! So not cool!"

End Confessional

"Hi, Dakota!" Sam waved to her.

"Huh?" she replied, "Speak up!" Chris pushed her away with a billboard showing a map. "Challenge time!" he announced.

"Now?" Brick asked. "In the middle of the night? When it's all...dark?" Jo just gave him a confused look.

Confessional: Brick (Toxic Rats)

"Ever since I was born, I hated the dark, with all the 'who's that?' and the 'get away!' " The lights went out, making him scream. The sound of a running liquid was then heard.

Confessional: Mike (Mutant Maggots)

"I didn't want to say this in front of the others, but I am a little jumpy tonight. I can just feel something in the night air, and it's...ominous." He shuddered with worry.

End Confessionals

"Your challenge," Chris explained, "A hunt for three creepy souvenirs. Your locations? A haunted forest, a scary pet cemetery, and an extra spooktastic cave. First team to each location gets a special clue but watch out for booby traps. I went to town with them. So move fast and stick together. You'll be penalized for each player you lose."

"Um, what does the spider represent?" Cameron nervously asked.

"Oh, yeah, there's some kind of gigantic mutated spider running around loose on the island." Everyone began to mumble with worry. "What's on the loose?" Dakota shouted.

"A GIGANTIC MUTATED SPIDER!" Sam shouted in her ear.

"Where? Where?!" Cameron panicked.

Confessional: Cameron (Mutant Maggots)

"I have a severe case of arachnophobia. Spiders are just so creepy! Literally. Anything with that many legs must be evil." A spider came down to him, and he screamed.

End Confessional

"There's nothing to fear but mortal terror itself," Chris told them, "Talk soon." He blew his air horn, and everyone ran to complete the challenge. "Get to work, Lacky," he told Dakota.

"What?" she shouted. As the full moon rose up in the cloudy sky, the Maggots were the first to reach the haunted forest. "Welcome to the haunted forest!" Chris announced over the intercom. "Your clue can be found in the base of this tree."

"I got it!" Lightning told his team. He reached to get the clue but screamed when a bear trap snapped on his arm. "In a bear trap." Chris finished.

"Well, well, well," Jo mocked as she and the other Rats ran up to them.

"We got here first," Samey told the Rats, "so go away." She winked at Zoey, and she returned it with a smile.

Confessional: Samey (Mutant Maggots)

"I'm fine with Zoey knowing I'm not Amy because we're pals. I would tell Mike, but I know he hates Amy. So for him and everyone else, I have to sound and look like my sister." She placed a berry on her cheek to mimic Amy's mole.

End Confessional

"Let them have their clue," Jo decided, "I have a plan." She and the other Rats ran ahead. "So what's your big plan?" Shawn asked.

"Find a place to hide so we can follow the Maggots to our first souvenir. Into that bush!" All the Rats hid in a thorny bush. The Maggots walked by, unaware of the Rats. "What does the clue say?" Leonard asked.

"'Inside a knot is a nest'," Mike read, "'Your souvenir lives with a pest.'" He noticed the bush was stirring a little. "'Find Polaris and travel southwest.' We go that way."

"Something seems off about this," Jasmine said with suspicion.

"Lightning will reach it first!" Lightning declared. He ran southwest while Mike silently dragged his team to hide behind a nearby tree. "They're getting away!" Jo whispered to her team. Everyone struggled to get out of the thorny bush. Brick had stuck his head out when he heard an owl hoot. "Who's there?" he stuttered. He saw a bunch of eyes stared out at him from a tree, and he screamed. He panicked and ran in the direction Lightning ran in. Jasmine stuck her head out from behind a tree. "Great work, Mike," she sarcastically told him, "The Rats took the lead!"

"Oh, really?" Mike slyly replied. He passed the clue to Cameron, who read it again. "'Inside a knot is a nest. Your souvenir lives with a pest. Follow Polaris and travel northwest.' Hold on, didn't you say southwest?"

"Yes."

"And if the Rats heard you say that, then that means-"

"The Rats are going the wrong way!" Samey finished.

"I thought that thorn bush was fishy," Mike told his team. "I wonder how long it'll take them to realize they've been hoodwinked." The Maggots headed northwest.

The Rats were heading southwest. "Inside a knot is a nest," Sam remembered, "Dawn, do you remember that middle part?" He turned to see that Dawn had disappeared. "Dawn?! DAWN?! Isn't there a penalty for each lost player?"

"Along with a creepy spider thing lurking around," Dave gulped.

"Oh, well," Jo shrugged off, "We call off the search party."

"That's against the cadet code!" Brick told her. "Never leave a man behind!"

"She left us. That means she's AWOL. Now move it, G.I. Joke. Mike said the souvenir was southwest."

"Why does Mike saying that seem like a bad thing?" Dave wondered. He noticed a stump that he noticed earlier. "Didn't we past that on the way here?"

"Wait," Sky realized, skidding to a halt. "We're going the wrong way!"

"And why should we listen to Batty Sky here?" Shawn snapped back.

"Yeah, Pasty," Anne-Maria agreed. "It's what Mike read off the card."

"Mike," Dave pointed out, "What word comes to mind when you here that?"

"Terrifying," Brick squeaked out.

"Weak," Shawn said.

"Unpredictable," Jo admitted.

"A trickster?" Sam put in, unsure of his words. Dave only gave a 'you got it' look before Jo finally pieced it together. "That oily little weasel tricked us!" she yelled in fury. "Let's track down those Maggots and make 'em pay!" They turned around and ran back.

Meanwhile, the Maggots were heading for the first souvenir. Mike, at the back of the pack, saw a red poppy on the ground and picked it up. "She'll love this!" he whispered. Unknown to him, Ella had heard him and gasped in excitement.

Confessional: Ella (Mutant Maggots)

"My prince Michael is going to confess his affections for me! I'm glad it's with a flower and not a picnic. The birds who follow me would have eaten everything." One of the birds that flocked near her chirped. "Yes, that includes you, Alan."

End Confessional

Ella skipped over to Mike. "Hello, Prince Michael!" she chirped. Mike just gave a sigh.

Confessional: Mike (Mutant Maggots)

"Oh, boy. Just let her down gently and things will work out." He gulped. "I hope."

End Confessional

"It's Mike," Mike told her, "And, well, this flower here..."

"I'm listening," Ella chirped, blushing as she talked.

"And, it's for someone I really care about..."

"Oh, Michael, that is so sweet of-"

"I really hope Zoey will like this poppy. Don't you think so?"

This shook Ella to her core. "That is for...Zoey?" she asked. "Of course it is. I'll just- I'll- you know." She began to cry, and she tearfully ran back to her team. Mike could only groan in defeat.

Confessional: Mike (Mutant Maggots)

"I just wanted her to leave me alone! I didn't mean to make her cry. Why does it feel like something's clouding my good judgement? Gah!"

End Confessional

"A tree!" Jasmine pointed out. "With team colors! This must be it!"

"Are you sure?" Leonard asked. "It could be-" He noticed Ella walking to him, a somber look on her face. "Are you okay?" he asked.

"I'm fine," she sighed. "It's just that my heart is filled with sorrow."

"Since when are you sad?" Jasmine piped in. She got a glare from Samey. "Just stating facts," she told her.

"I thought Mike liked me," Ella continued. "But it was Zoey that stole his heart."

"Me?" Zoey said, surprised. She blushed a little. "I'm sure he still likes you, Ella. Not like like, like you thought. He still thinks you're nice and- I'm not making things better, am I? Sorry!"

"That love tangle aside," Jasmine told her team, "Cameron, get the souvenir." He was tossed up and landed near the knothole. He reached in and pulled out a key. "I think this is it!" he cried out in victory. He noticed a little spider on his arm. "Giant spider!" he panicked.

"No, it's just a-" Samey began but a web grabbed her and dragged her away. "What was that, Amy?" Leonard asked. He noticed that she had disappeared. "Where's Amy at?" he wondered.

"Zoey!" Mike shouted once he reached his team. "Finally, I found you guys."

"Hi, Mike," Zoey greeted, blushing a little.

"I got you a flower. It's red, your favorite color."

"Thank you." She held the flower in her hand. Mike looked up and saw Cameron was struggling to get down. "You need help, Cam?" he asked him. As he turned his back to Zoey, a web latched onto her, and she was dragged off. Mike helped Cameron down before he noticed Zoey was gone. "Zoey?" he wondered, "Where are you?!"

"Quit fussing," Jasmine told him, "Let's go." She began to walk off but Mike stopped her. "No one's moving until Zoey gets found!" he told her.

"Plus, if we don't find them," Leonard piped in, "We shall get penalized and lose!"

"Then you find them, Mike," Jasmine decided. Mike, now more worried than before, ran off to find Zoey. Jasmine, Leonard and Cameron ran towards the cemetery. "Welcome to the Wawanakwa Pet Cemetery!" Chris announced over the intercom. "Your clue can be found in a coffin." Cameron opened a coffin and it had a bunch of numbers, with three sixes and an eighteen written in red ink. "Aren't three sixes evil?" he asked, worried.

"I don't know," Ella sighed. She finally walked over to the others but she was still depressed.

"If it isn't the Maggots," Jo's voice called out. Everyone turned to see that the Rats and Lightning were behind them. "Where's that weasel of yours?"

"I don't know what thou is referring," Leonard fibbed.

"I mean MIKE! Where is he so I can pummel him?"

"Let's worry about him later," Sky told her. She pulled out a key. "Let's focus on finding that second souvenir."

"How did-" Jasmine began to ask.

"Lightning got it!" Lightning declared. "There ain't nothing I can't do!" Jasmine glared at him. Then her eyes went to Shawn and she smiled.

Confessional: Jasmine (Mutant Maggots)

"Okay, Shawn is really cute, I'll admit that. But I also want to win. If I had to choose who to boot, I'd say Lightning for his stupidity or Mike for challenging MY authority. Ahh...I hope Shawn won't get the boot if the Rats lose. I hope they boot someone like Sky or Sam. They seem like they need to be hurled off!"

Confessional: Shawn (Toxic Rats)

"Not only is Jasmine cool, she sounds like she understands me! I hope they win. I'm afraid everyone will band together to take her out! But if I lose, I'll just convince everyone to boot Sky. Or maybe I should boot Jo so I can get on everyone's good side. Yeah, I'll do that."

End Confessionals

Brick was walking around when the ground beneath him gave way and he fell into a deep, dark grave. "AHHH!" he screamed. "Too dark! Too dark!"

"Take my hand!" Jo called out. She reached down and pulled him up. "Too dark," he muttered.

"Pull youself together!" Jo told him as she slapped his face. Brick noticed everyone was staring at him. He looked down and saw a wet spot on his pants. "I-it was wet down there and I landed on my crotch," he stuttered in embarrassment. "I'm going to go dry off." He dashed off. He grabbed a pile of leaves and tried to dry himself off, unaware that a pair of infrared eyes spotted him. "Dry..." he muttered, "Dry!" He didn't noticed the creature until it was too late. Brick's scream was heard by his team. "What was that?" Sky asked.

"Two words," Jo plainly told her team. "Dead. Weight."

"Brick may not be attractive in any way," Anne-Maria told her, "but he's still a person!"

"Your attitude stinks, Jo!" Dave told her.

"It's called a winning attitude," Jo replied. "Get used to it or get out of the way." She walked off to find the souvenir. "Gee, Jo seems too bossy for this team," Scott put in, "Agree to vote her off if we lose?"

"I guess," Dave put in. Sky and Anne-Maria nodded in agreement. They split up to find the second souvenir. Scott was looking around some coffins. "Find the souvenir, hide the souvenir, lose the game," he reasoned. A coffin opened, showing Fang inside. He closed the door and ran off, but Fang opened it back up and gave chase.

"Hey," Sam shouted. He was leaning above an open grave. "This grave smells like French fries!" Scott accidentally knocked Sam into the grave as he was running. Scott leapt over a freshly-dug grave but Fang tripped over a shovel and landed in the grave. "Nice try," he snickered. A web was shot at him and he was pulled away.

Dakota was walking over to the grave where Sam was and dumped a bucket of grease into it. "Hey!" Sam called out.

"Sam?" Dakota wondered.

"Dakota! How's it going?"

"Sorry about the booby trap. Chris made me fill it with kitchen grease."

"That must be what's attracting these giant maggots." A few maggots fell into the grave. "Hey, that tickles! Hey, that doesn't! OW!"

"Why does my gut feel all...squirmy? I feel like...apologizing? If this is what feeling bad for someone feels is, I don't like it! I'm out!" She stormed off.

"Wait!" Sam told her but she was out of earshot. Chris was watching everyone on his monitors. "Will anyone make it to the spooky cave?" he narrated. "And if so, how will they make it to the finish line? Less brain, more pain when we return!"

(cue commercial)

Mike was up in a tree, still looking for Zoey. "Zoey!" he cried out, "Tell me where you are!" He looked up and saw the full moon, and he got a worried look. "Not now," he muttered. He stepped on a weak branch and it cracked beneath him, making him fall. His shirt got caught on a branch and Mike landed on the hard ground.

"Mike!" Leonard told him. "I think I found something! This grave says 'June 6, 1806'. I'm no algebra expert, but I think that's 6, 6, 18, 6! Huzzah! This is good, right, Mike?" He noticed that Mike was now on his knees and growling at him.

Confessional: Leonard (Mutant Maggots)

"I did not foresee Mike acting like this. But what I did foresaw was that if Ella sang again, disaster would befall her!"

End Confessional

"Six, six, eighteen, six!" Cameron exclaimed as he and the rest of the Maggots went by the marked grave. "Leonard, you found it!"

"I thank thee," he replied. "But I am concerned that- Mike? He was just here!" Leonard looked around and saw that Mike had vanished.

"I got the key," Jasmine began, "and there's a keyhole here!"

"Lightning will get it sha-open!" Lightning declared. He put the key into the keyhole. A spring-loaded coffin flung him away. Cameron opened the coffin. "Flashlights!" he showed his team. "These will come in handy!"

"Let's move," Jasmine told her team. "I'll reset the trap in case those Rats decide to follow us." She punched the coffin back into place. Sam, who was hidden behind a tree, tried to use animal signals to his team. Shawn finally came over and slapped him so he would stop. "What was that?" he asked.

"I was using animal calls to signal you," Sam explained. "The Maggots found the souvenir over there."

"Good job, Sam!" Sky told him.

"Whatever," Shawn told her. "I'm getting the souvenir." He took the key and walked over to the grave.

"But Shawn, you should know that-" Sam tried to warn.

"Relax, I got this," Shawn told him. He and Anne-Maria were over by the grave. He put the in and the trap was released, sending the duo flying. "Tried to warn you, bro!" Sam called out. Shawn and Anne-Maria landed on each other, and in doing so, they accidentally locked lips.

Confessional: Anne-Maria (Toxic Rats)

"I'm not surprised Shawn kissed me. It's because he can't get enough of me. I mean, check me out! The tan! The hair! Look at me, I'm hot!"

Confessional: Shawn (Toxic Rats)

"I hope Jasmine didn't see that. If she did, she might kill me, or beat me up!"

End Confessionals

Jasmine, Cameron, Lightning and Leonard were at the mouth of a cave. "Welcome to your final location!" Chris announced with a spooky laugh. "Your clue can be found in this dark cave."

"Lightning, go get it," Jasmine told him. Lightning ran inside but all they heard was his scream. "Oh, no!" Cameron exclaimed.

"String bean, go get the princess. Leonard and I will get Lightning." They each grabbed a flashlight. Cameron ran back for Ella while Jasmine and Leonard went into the cave. They soon reached a skeleton with a note on it. "That's mine!" Jo told them. She had followed the duo and was going after the note. Jasmine dodged her attack at the last second, and she crashed into a wall. "Let's see," Jasmine began, "'By hook or by crook, the end is near if you look.' Who wrote this? William Shakes-" A web was launched at the trio, and they were each in sticky hold. "Who did this?!" Jo exclaimed, her eyes covered with spider webs. They were all dragged away.

Cameron had found Ella over by a nearby log. "Come on, Ella," he told her, "the team needs you!" They soon saw the rest of the Rats run past them. "The Rats are ahead! Come on!" He grabbed Ella's arm and led her to the cave. However, a pair of bright yellow eyes saw them. The figure growled before silently following them. Everyone soon saw a skull-shaped rock with hooks in them. "That must be the last souvenir!" Sky exclaimed.

"Hey, our teammates!" Sam exclaimed. "Hey, a gigantic spider! Ugh, all this coolness is making my head spin." The spider launched another web at Cameron, and he was dragged up and flung into the web with everyone else. "Who's here now?" Jo asked, her eyes still covered. "Germaphope? Couch Potato? Spray-on Beauty? C'mon, don't leave me hanging."

"It's just me," Cameron replied, "String Bean."

"Wow. You lasted longer than I expected."

Confessional: Cameron (Mutant Maggots)

"I think that's the nicest thing she said to me. Hey, I'll take what I can get."

End Confessional

Sam walked over to the hooks. "Wait up!" Dave called out to him. He soon tripped over some stones and crashed into Sam. The spider spun more web and bounded them together. "Yep," Sam sighed, "Over-stimulated."

"Sky, help us!" Dave called out. Sky flew over to the spider. "Over here!" she called out to it. The spider tried to get her but she dodged all its sprays at her.

"Go get the hook and we'll win!" Anne-Maria told Shawn, who was paralyzed with fear. She gave an annoyed look when he wouldn't move. "Fine. Go get the hook and you'll get more of this." She kissed Shawn on the lips.

"Hey!" Jasmine shouted. "Get your grubby lips off of him!" Once Anne-Maria was done, Shawn dazedly went over to the rocks. "Sorry, Outback," she told Jasmine. "Shawn's only interested in classy girls." She let out a belch.

"When I get my mitts on you..." Jasmine muttered.

"I hope Mike comes soon," Zoey muttered to herself.

"Um, guys?" Cameron piped up.

"What?"

"Spider!" The duo screamed in fear. Cameron saw the creature get closer and with all the courage he could muster, he broke free and began to attack the spider.

Confessional: Cameron (Mutant Maggots)

"Ah, adrenaline. Someone should really bottle it."

End Confessional

Leonard had wiggled his arm free. "Yes!" he cried in triumph. He grabbed his staff. "Free my team!" he chanted out. All of the Maggots' webs were now undone. As Lightning fell, he dragged down Brick. "Hang on, men," he told the Rats, "I'm coming to get you!"

"No," Jo told him, "you need to get the hook and win! Someone has to!"

"But my code!"

"Cut and run, soldier. That's an order!"

"But Brick cannot advance if he wanted to," Leonard told her.

"But why-" Samey began to asked but gasped at the sight guarding the hooks. A large wolf with dark-brown fur, glowing yellow eyes and fangs the size and blade of a knife was pacing in front of the rock, growling at the Maggots. "What now?" Leonard asked.

"If only we could lure it away," Samey thought. She got an idea. "Ella! Could you sing to it?"

"No! Don't sing!"

"Leonard's right," Ella told Samey. "Chris said I would go home if I sang again."

"No one here will say anything. Come on, please?" Ella thought this over. "Okay," she told her team. She began to vocalize, leaving the wolf confused. "Come, Mr. Wolf, let us walk for a time," she sang, "Please leave my team alone, if you don't mind!" The wolf covered its ears with its paws. "Oh, dear," Ella wondered, "What's bothering you?" She came a little closer but the wolf growled at her.

"Hey, Ella?" Zoey spoke up as she walked to her. "Is it okay if I tried? If you don't mind, that is."

"I think Mr. Wolfie likes you."

"Huh?" The wolf was around Zoey's feet, and the wolf was nice and calm.

Confessional: Zoey (Mutant Maggots)

"I'm not much of a dog person, but there's something about this one that just seems so...amazing! Though I don't get why it growled at Ella. Animals love her."

End Confessional

Brick grabbed one of the hooks. Ella, Lightning, Leonard, Samey and Zoey followed suit. They saw a rope that led outside. Everyone latched their hooks on. Zoey noticed that the wolf was watching her still. "Do you want to join me, Wolfie?" She asked it. "You don't mind me calling you that, do you?" Wolfie wagged its bushy tail in agreement. Zoey smiled before she grabbed Wolfie and slid down with her team.

Meanwhile, Cameron was stomping on the spider. "Stop being such a bully!" he told it. The spider's web was now loose, and everyone was now free of it.

Brick was screaming as he slid down. Ella and Lightning cheered with joy whlie Leonard, Samey and Zoey screamed with fear. They soon all crashed into each other at the end of the rope. Lightning sniffed the air. "What smells like pee?" he asked.

"I don't smell anything," Brick lied. Chris and Topher walked over to the campers. "Hey, Chris," Topher told him, "both teams made it, though some wetter than others."

"Those caves were leaky," Brick told him.

"Regardless," Chris continued, "today's winning team is...the Maggots!"

"What? But I arrived first!"

"Remember when I said stick together 'cause there would be a penalty for each lost player? Yeah, you lost seven people. Ella only lost three, so the Maggots win!"

"Sha-score!" Lightning cried out in victory.

"No!" Brick moaned. "I should've followed my code!" He began to sob.

"So true," Chris commented. Topher then noticed Zoey and Wolfie. "I've never seen a happier mutt," he commented, "Not even in commercials."

"How did you get it so calm?" Chris asked with suspicion.

"Well-" Lightning began but Samey cut him off. "Zoey managed to soothe the savage beast," she told Chris.

"Really?" Topher said as he walked closer.

"Wait! I wouldn't-!" Samey's warning fell on deaf ears as Wolfie mauled him. "Tame, you said," Topher scoffed.

"It's a bit protective," Zoey explained as she held Wolfie back.

Back at the cave, Cameron was walking over to the spider when he saw that it was a fake. There, laying in a spider costume, was Izzy from the first three seasons. "Boo!" she manically shouted.

Confessional: Cameron (Mutant Maggots)

"Turns out it was just one of the old cast members in a spider costume." A spider landed on his finger, but now he was unfazed. "It cured me of my arachnophobia, although I'm terrified of Izzy now."

End Confessional

At the elimination ceremony, the Rats were seated, with Brick, Jo, Scott, Sam and Dawn in the back row and Anne-Maria, Shawn, Dave and Sky in the front. Oddly enough, all the Maggots were standing to watch the ceremony. "Welcome to another elimination ceremony!" Chris announced, "And, mmm, this tension is so delish, I could kiss someone." Jasmine narrowed her eyes at Shawn. "Not you, Shawn, we know where those lips have been." Shawn only gulped. "But hey, maybe Brick and Jo wanna kiss and make up?" The duo only glared at each other. "Didn't think so." Topher came running up to Chris. "Where's Chef with the Toxic Marshmallow of Loserdom?" Chris asked him.

"With...Izzy," Topher panted. Over by a wooded area, Chef was tied up and bombarded with fake arrows, courtesy of a cackling Izzy.

"Permission to speak?" Brick spoke up. "I volunteer for elimination. I did not follow my code."

"No kidding, Sir Leaks-a-Lot," Jo mocked.

"So I'm afraid of the dark. That's what night-vision goggles are for! You would never make it in my squadron!" Jo only yawned.

"At ease," Chris told Brick. "Guess what? Tonight's eliminated Rat is tomorrow's new Maggot. So, from now on, Brick and Jo will be duking it out on opposing teams."

"Thank you!" Brick saluted.

"Wait a moment," Topher interjected. "I don't mean to contradict you, but you said that in each episode, someone would get the boot."

"I did," Chris replied. "It's just not Brick's that's leaving."

"Huh?"

"It has come to my attention that a certain songbird has sung her swan song." He walked over to the Maggots. "Sorry, Ella, but I received an anonymous note about it. And since you broke that rule, you're gone." Ella could only sigh as Mike looked away with guilt.

Confessional: Mike (Mutant Maggots)

"Ella, if you hearing this, all I have to say is that this is for your own good, a-a-a mercy blow. And, to be honest, after seeing you heartbroken, and how I got mixed up in your fantasy world..." He began to cry. "Oh, sweet Sirius up in the sky! What have I done?!"

End Confessional

"I enjoyed our time together," Ella told everyone.

"It's a real shame," Zoey told her.

"Don't be sad, Zoey, be happy."

"Okay, I'll try."

"And now, I am free to sing whenever I want. Which is always!" Some music began to play, to Chris's bewilderment. "I didn't okay a musical bit!" he exclaimed.

"My time on the show is finished and done," Ella sang, "but that's not to say I didn't have fun! I'll do my best not to cry, but now I have to say good-bye!"

"No! Knock it off!" The animals around Ella nuzzled Chris.

"I came on Total Drama and survived it just fine! With only minor damage to the base of my spine. I gave it my best try, but now I have to say good-bye! I'll miss you all from tall-" She motioned to Jasmine, "to small-" then to Dawn, "and even this smart little gnome." She knelt down to Cameron. "Uh, thanks?" he told her, confused.

"So long my prince," she continued to Mike, "You made my heart wince, and now I'm heading home!" Chris motioned to Topher to deal with Ella. He tried to grabbed her but her birds carried her off. "I broke the rules, and now I'm paying the price," she continued, "And soon I'll be launched from this catapult device. I'll do my best not to die, but now I have to say good-byyyeeeEEEE!" She was hurled off as she sung her final note. "That's enough of that," Chris commented. "How will Brick do on a new team? And what will happen now that the songbird's gone? Find out next time on Total...Drama...Revenge of the Island!"

Eliminated: Ella (disqualified)

Go ahead and boo me like a rotten answer on 'Match Game' (The old one, with Brett Summers and Charles Nelson-Riley.) I know I will get a lot of hate for not only booting Ella, but also similar to canon, by being disqualified for singing. But unlike canon, there are two major changes here that I'd like to argue on.

1) She wasn't booted out of spite. This is the reason Sugar is my least favorite person on Pahkitew and my least favorite villain. If she was a good villain, Sugar should've at least waited for her team to lose before blurting what Ella did, to give herself a little safety net. Instead, she squealed immediately because why? She couldn't stand Ella and it was just pure spite she had against her. In this story, the reason is a little more complex than this. Ella was booted due to, ironically, Mike partly because he thought it was for her own good and partly because so he wouldn't have any more of a love tangle. Though this might end up weighing heavy on him, and this leads me to my second point:

2) He feels guilt and remorse for his actions. If you read Mike's last confessional in this episode, you can see that his voice was stutter-y and after he tries to reason what he did, he ends up breaking down and crying. In canon, Sugar never gave her actions a second thought. Here, you can see Mike feels remorse for his actions, what I think is a major difference from canon.

Elimination aside, this chapter has a few moving plot points. Anne-Maria's kiss to Shawn in front of Jasmine will play a part in the next chapter. Brick and Jo's rivalry will also be amplified, as well. I also began to introduce "Wolfie" here. What is the mysterious creature? Why did it follow Zoey? Why wasn't it charmed by Ella's song? I'm afraid I can't say anymore. A plot point like this is like comedy; timing is key for it to work as well as a well-oiled machine.

I think I covered everything here but if I missed something, don't be afraid to speak up. If you want to leave a review you're more than welcome to. This is Dunsparce519 saying enjoy and have a good day.
