"Previously on Total Drama," Chris recapped, "I took some time off, for personal reasons that I'd rather not discuss. Hey, whoever did that in there, not funny, guys! Okay, that's better. Chef led our campers in a revolting cook-off which led to some serious barfing. Meanwhile, Zoey channeled her inner warrior, transforming into Commando Zoey! Even Chef was scared. Lightning's plan to use Cam backfired, and in a surprise double elimination, both Lightning and Cameron were hurled off together. Honestly, I'd thought they would clash it out in the finale, but you can't win them all. Which leads us to-" A video showing Chris being flung into the bathroom was played on repeat. "What? Hey! No, no no! Not funny!" He pushed the TV away. "That editor is so fired. We had twenty-two, which was great, but who will be kicked out of the final eight? Find out right now on Total...Drama...Revenge of the Island!"

At the Toxic Rats' cabin, Shawn was punching a dummy of a zombie made from a pillow. "Take that!" he yelled out as he punched it. "And that! And this! You won't take my brain!" Dave just watched underneath his covers.
Confessional: Dave (Toxic Rats)
"Shawn's starting to become a real threat. Maybe I should ask Mike to help me either protect me or Sky. He seems to be a good ally." A fist went through the outhouse, spooking him.
Confessional: Shawn (Toxic Rats)
"We're nearing the finish. With Jasmine at my side, along with my statue, I'm invincible! Yeah!" He lifted the confessional, but dropped it when his pants fell down, showing his bare bottom. The confessional crashed onto him.
End Confessionals
"That's that," Shawn said once the dummy was destroyed.
"Why are you boys making such a racket?" Jasmine complained as she stepped in.
"Just finishing my daily zombie training. In only a minute, too. A little rusty, but..."
"I suggest you drop that 'zombie' stuff before your butt's kicked off."
"Even if you do that, I got this." Shawn pulled out the statue. "With this, I'll rule this game!"
"How are you 'ruling the game' with that piece of wood?" Dave sarcastically shot back.
"This is-" Shawn took a closer look at the statue and widen his eyes. His scream of anger could be heard all across the island.
Confessional: Shawn (Toxic Rats)
He slammed the statue in his hand down on the floor. "I stole a fake from that nitwit?! Can't believe it." He soon realized what had happened. "MIKE! That weasel wanted me to steal that statue from him! He must've had a hand in both Jo and Lightning's eliminations! He must be an alliance with Dave! Wait till I get my hands on him! I'll pound him! Maybe then Jasmine will trust me again."
End Confessional
At the mess hall, Zoey was bending a fork while Brick was starting to worry. "Sky joining the team is nice," he told her, "but I'm worried someone like Jasmine will crush us in the next challenge!"
"You know what you gotta do?" Zoey said as she leaned in to Brick's face.
"Um, start backing away from you quietly?"
"You gotta grab your fear by the throat and throttle it into courage."
"Courage?"
"The thing that can turn a passive, small-town teen who sews her own clothes into a hardened, extermination machine." She made her fork into a slingshot. She took the egg on the table and shot it at Chef, making him fall down in pain and break all the dishes he had held. "Besides," Zoey continued, "whatever Jasmine's thinking can't be that bad."
"Yeah. Yeah!" Jasmine whistled for their attention at that moment. "Hi," Brick spoke up. "Gee, what a neat doll you made...that looks...just like me." In front of Jasmine was a little wooden doll made to look like Brick. She took it and broke it in half before giving a little wave, making Brick yelp in fear. "It's like she's trying some mind trick to destroy me!" he squeaked out.
"Easy, little guy," Zoey soothed. "We are going to take those Rats out. Us against them. No mercy."
"Yeah?"
"No pity."
"Yeah."
"No prisoners!"
"Yeah! We can have a friendship finale!" Brick held up his hand for a high-five. "Don't leave me hanging, Zoey." Zoey slapped his hand, but the force of it made Brick wince. "OW!"
Confessional: Brick (Mutant Maggots)
He put an ice pack on his hand. "What happened to Zoey? I hope it won't become a big deal. Imagine if Mike saw her like this." He gave and laugh then gasped at what he said. "Oh, no. He doesn't know!"
Confessional: Jasmine (Toxic Rats)
"I had to throw Brick off his game. With Clean Freak and my zombie-hating ex on my team, there's only a slim chance of winning. Hopefully, Brick and Zoey will argue enough to send one of them home."
End Confessionals
Mike had walked into the mess hall. "Hi, Brick," he greeted. "Hi...Zoey? Zoey, what happened to you? Not that I'm complaining, but it's...different than what I'm used to." A fork was flung at him. "Hey! Okay, I get the message!" He ran out of the mess hall. He soon ran into Shawn, who was glaring at him. "What's up with you?"
"Me?" Shawn spat back as he held up the fake statue. "You should know!" He flung it at Mike, hitting him in the eye.
Confessional: Mike (Mutant Maggots)
He held an ice pack to his now-black eye. "I think Shawn figured out I tricked him. And I don't think things are getting any better between me and Zoey. I really hope she doesn't find out my lycanthrophy. I think I should be safe as long as I'm careful, and hope Dave is smart enough to keep his mouth shut."
End Confessional
As Mike walked into the woods, he noticed Dave and Sky talking. "Sky," Dave began, "You know, just because we're on different teams doesn't mean we can't still be a 'thing', you know."
"Sorry," Sky replied, "but the moment someone sees us together, they'll think we're in an alliance and we'll both have a target on our backs!"
"Hello there!" Mike shouted to the duo. Dave waved back while Sky groaned in frustration. "Do you guys need a minute?" Dave asked her. "I'll leave you guys alone so you can make up." He walked off, leaving Sky with Mike.
Confessional: Sky (Mutant Maggots)
"I'm stuck with that mutt Mike alone?! Ugh! I have never been this angry before!"
End Confessional
"Uh, what were you guys talking about?" Mike asked once he got close to her. "If there's any trouble, I can lend a hand if you need it. That's what friends do, right?"
Sky growled in anger. "You were never my friend and you will never be my friend!" she angrily spat out to Mike, who backed away as she closed in on him. "Not to mention you haven't got a shot at beating me. So leave me and Dave alone, Wolfie!" She stormed off, leaving Mike more worried than before.
Confessional: Mike (Mutant Maggots)
"Sky. He told Sky. Though I can't be too mad. She's the Achilles' Heel to Dave. I don't understand why she's so upset at me. I've helped those two more than she realized."
Confessional: Sky (Mutant Maggots)
"He'd better stay away from me and Dave if he values breathing. There is no way he and I will be friends! Never!"
Confessional: Dave (Toxic Rats)
"Yep, I bet that went well. One of my best allies and my dream girl are now friends." He sighed in relief. "Another bright idea from me."
End Confessionals
"Attention, my soon-to-be victims!" Chris announced over the loudspeakers. "Get your butts over to the bonfire! Last one there eats a rotten egg!" As Zoey and Brick ran there, Topher decided to join them. "Last one there eats a rotten egg!" he repeated. "See how it sounds better with a more youthful inflection? Agree or strongly agree?" He ran into a tree as Zoey and Brick continued.
Confessional: Topher (Mutant Maggots)
"Been using old man Chris's cell to leave messages to the network about going with a younger host, i.e., me! Still haven't heard back. Might be time to step it up."
End Confessional
At the bonfire, Topher jogged there to find that everyone else was already there. "And Topher arrives last," Chris remarked.
"Do I really have to eat a rotten egg?" Topher moaned.
"We didn't have a rotten egg, so we went with the next best thing: Chef's frog quiche. And you would be eating it if Mike hadn't gotten to it first."
"What?" Mike said as everyone stared at him. "It was good!"
"Can't believe you actually liked that slop," Shawn taunted.
"Easy, Shawn. If you try anything, you'll be crying for your mommy! Or worse, the mortician."
Confessional: Dave (Toxic Rats)
"Mike's pretty creative when it comes to threats. And unfortunately, he seems to be able to carry out what he says. Makes me almost sorry for Shawn. Almost."
End Confessional
"Listen up!" Chris announced. "Today, you'll be playing a little game called 'Hide or Sleep'. Players will have to avoid getting splattered by these tranquilizer balls." He held up a little pink ball. "Last one standing wins immunity for their team."
"And will we be using these to knock out the competition?" Zoey asked.
"Nope. Someone will be hunting you guys down."
"Gee, Chris," Topher mocked. "Seems like you're losing creative steam. I guess you're not thinking younger. 'Course that's sorta hard for you to do, right?"
"Hmm...Topher has a point. That's why the person hunting you guys will be one of the fan-favorites from World Tour! Send her out, Chef!" Chef undid a wooden crate, and a girl with short purple hair, a yellow top, green pants, and an enthusiastic smile. "Eeee!" she squealed. "I can't believe I'm cameo-ing for season four! All of you seem so good!"
"Sierra's the one chasing us?!" Brick nervously asked.
"Yep," Chris replied. "And what makes this extra hard is that this super-fan knows everything about everybody here."
"Everything?" Mike gulped.
"Does that worry you?" Sky teased as she leaned towards Mike. "Gee, I wonder why."
"Both of you, stop it," Zoey told them as she stepped in between them.
Confessional: Dave (Toxic Rats)
"I don't think Sky and Mike made up. I don't understand why Sky's upset with him. He's done more to help us than she realized. I heard him talking to Shawn and Lightning, and he was making sure the votes were split so Sky and I could vote off Lightning! She could be a little thankful, at least."
Confessional: Mike (Mutant Maggots)
"Maybe what Chris said was a fluke. No one can know everything about a person, right? Right?!"
End Confessionals
"Everyone gets ten minutes to run and hide before Sierra comes after you," Chris explained. He blew his air horn. "Go!" Everyone dashed off. At a cave, Zoey and Brick were huddled in a cave. "This will be perfect," Zoey said.
"Does it have to so dark?" Brick stuttered.
"Sierra must know about your fear of the dark. This will be the last place she'll find you. Soon, I'll win this challenge!"
"Don't you mean we?"
Confessional: Zoey (Mutant Maggots)
"Brick's a nice guy, but he's such a word nerd. I, we, you, me...what does it matter? We're on the same team, right?
End Confessional
Meanwhile, Shawn was running when he spot Jasmine hiding in a bush. "Jasmine!" he called out.
"Why are you bothering me?" she snapped back.
"Look, I know you hate me, but we have to work together if either of us want to get to the finale. Besides, I think the others are planning to kick you off the moment you let your guard down."
"Really?" Jasmine bit her lip. She sighed. "Fine. I'll give you another chance, but I need to make sure that you're true to your word. I want a share of the money if you win."
"Deal." Unknown to Jasmine, Shawn had crossed his fingers behind his back.
Confessional: Shawn (Toxic Rats)
"Split the money with Jasmine? Forget it! I have plans to build a zombie-proof bunker with that million, and if I have to skimp on material, I might as well open a zombie B and B: zombie bed and breakfast! And our brains are the breakfast and the beds are our graves!"
Confessional: Jasmine (Toxic Rats)
"Shawn's a work in progress, that goes without saying. At least I'll have a good ally for the merge."
End Confessionals
Sky was walking through the woods when she saw Dave. "Dave!" she called out. "Any sign of Sierra?"
"No," he replied. "But I do want to talk to you. I want to know why you hate Mike so much."
"Because he's an evil, heartless werewolf!" Dave stared at her. Then, to her shock, he began to laugh. "That is the silliest thing you've ever said!" he told her.
"I'm serious!" Sky told Dave. "Mike's an evil werewolf!"
"Okay. Say, for the sake of argument, you're right about Mike. If he's as heartless as you say he is, then why did he go out of his way to help me with Jo and Lightning?" Sky was about to say something but caught herself. "What?"
"He made sure that Shawn and Lightning's votes were split so we wouldn't be caught in a tie with either of them. And who do you think helped me when Jo, Lightning and Shawn were gunning for me?"
"He really did that?" Dave nodded. "Well...but..."
"At least don't be so harsh to him, okay? With you being the new girl on the team, you need all the allies you can get."
"Fine," Sky sighed in defeat. "But I'm right in saying what I said!"
"Really? That's-"
"Hush! I hear someone!" She pulled Dave over to hide behind a boulder. "Look!" she whispered. Mike was walking towards them, a nervous look on his face.
"This is ridiculous," Dave muttered. "I highly doubt that-"
"Shush!" Sky told him. "Werewolves have heighten senses!" They watched Mike continue to walk. "Sierra doesn't know everything about me," he muttered to himself. "I mean, how could she? Maybe I can fool her. Since she'll be looking for people, she won't think to look for a wild animal." Before Dave and Sky could even blink, Mike had changed into a wolf right before their eyes.
Confessional: Dave (Toxic Rats)
He was in a ball, wide-eyed. "Consider any doubts I had with Sky's story gone. Now that I think about it, I'm surprise no one noticed it earlier. Except maybe Dawn?"
End Confessional
Back at the cave, Brick was getting antsy. "How much longer will we have to stay here?" he nervously asked Zoey.
"The Rats will quickly fall," she replied. Just then, Topher walked into the cave to join them. "Really? Sorry, but three's too many for this cave."
"Relax," Topher told her. "You won't even notice I'm her."
"If you try anything, I'll make you sorry you ever met me!" Brick gulped at this.
Confessional: Brick (Mutant Maggots)
"Um, since when did Zoey get so scary?"
End Confessional
Soon, a ring came from Topher's pocket. "Yes, a text!" he cried as he pulled the phone from his pocket but groaned at what he saw.
Confessional: Topher (Mutant Maggots)
"I figured it was the network texting that I was replacing Chris as host, but no. It was his mom sending him a cute picture of a cat sleeping in a shoe box!"
End Confessional
A growl came from the cave. "That doesn't sound good," Brick squeaked.
"You got that right!" Topher complained as he held his phone. A large bear popped up in front of the trio. "And I'll put this phone on vibrate," Topher squeaked as he laid eyes on the bear. The screen was paused by Chris. "Will half of the Maggots be eliminated from the competition AND existence?" he announced. "Or will they escape the bear's wrath? And hey, what's Topher doing with a cell phone? All these answers coming up when we come back to Total...Drama...Revenge of the Island!"
(cue commercial)
Zoey stood calmly despite the bear growling at her, Brick and Topher. "Whatever you do," she warned, "don't-" Topher ran out of the cave in a panic. "Do that," she finished. "Ugh, is it me, or is Topher a trouble magnet? Now think, how am I going to defeat the bear?"
"We could use something to calm it down," Brick suggested, pointing at a pink blob. "That looks like food." Zoey picked it up. The blob squirmed in her hand, uncurling itself to be a mutant squirrel. It zapped at her, forcing her to drop it and run back to Brick. "Looks like food, huh?" she scolded at him.
Confessional: Zoey (Mutant Maggots)
"I've got my eye on you, Brick. Friendship finale, my butt!"
End Confessional
"I didn't know it was a mutant squirrel!" Brick defended as Zoey glared at him. The bear inched closer and was about to attack when a sharp howl cut through their panic. The bear whimpered and crawled deeper into the cave. "Well, that happened," Zoey blandly commented. "Now let's go. All that noise must have attracted-"
"Hi, Zoey and Brick!" Sierra's voice rang from the mouth of the cave. She wielded a paintball gun loaded with tranquilizer balls. "Sorry, but Chris said to take some people out, so..." She began to fire. Zoey and Brick managed to dodge the balls. "Come on, Brick!" Zoey rallied. "I need to win this!"
"We," Brick countered. "WE need to win this! You're starting to get out of control!" The bear came back at them and roared. It began to attack Brick. "Brick!" Zoey called out.
"That is one angry bear," Sierra commented as she stopped firing. Brick was trying his best to fend off the bear, to no avail. "I should ditch him," Zoey thought, "He'll only slow me down and ruin my chance at the million." She gasped as her memories came to her. "I've been watching Total Drama forever!" she had said on her first day. "Who knows, maybe I'll make some new friends."
"The way Amy treats you bothers us," she had said to Samey, "So, yeah, we're friends."
"I think Mr. Wolfie really likes you," Ella had told her.
She, Samey, Brick, Mike and Cameron were laughing and giggling at Cameron's impression of Chris.
"But no amount of money can buy a true friend," Zoey decided as she took off her hand-made bandana. "Hold on Brick; I'm coming!" She turned to the bear. "Hey, bear!" she yelled. "Get ready for a small-town smack-down!" She ran up to it and gave it an uppercut punch. It whimpered away, rubbing its jaw. "Thanks, Zoey," Brick groaned. "Sorry I doubted you."
"Don't worry, I got your back."
"Sorry to spoil your moment," Sierra interrupted, "but I have a job to do!" She fired at them, hitting both of them in the arm. They soon succumb to the sleep the balls induced.
"It's now three players on each team left standing!" Chris announced. "Looks like the Rats now have a chance!"
"Is that the best you can do?" Topher taunted. "Here's what five years of on-camera poise classes." He did a series of poses. "Ooo...ahh..." He soon backed into Wolfie, who growled at him. "Uh, down, boy?" he nervously asked. Wolfie growled at him, making him run off in fear. Sky and Dave had found him running to them. "Giant mutant dog!" Topher screamed as he ran past.
"Was he talking about who-know-who?" Dave gulped. Sky ran in the direction Topher came from. "Wait up!" Dave called out as he followed her. They soon found Wolfie growling at them. "He's still...him, right?" Dave nervously asked Sky.
"We know it's you, Mike!" Sky told Wolfie. "Cool it or else!" Wolfie stopped and stared at them. He changed back into Mike again, though his clothes were a bit more ragged. "Sorry about that," he meekly told them. "I can get carried away a bit. You guys holding on well?"
"Uh, aren't you a little worried about us catching you like...that?" Dave nervously asked him.
"I guess I would be a little worried around Sky, but you already opened your mouth to her about me." Dave opened his mouth to argue but Sky shot him a 'don't bother arguing' look. "Anyhow," Mike continued, "If you don't mind, I'd like a word with Sky, please."
"Sure. Just don't start fighting!" Dave walked off. "Or kissing!"
"We won't!"
"So, what does the Big Bad Wolf want from me?" Sky piped up.
"Easy," Mike warned as he looked around. "Look, I know you have an ax to grind with me and I have no idea why, but we both know that if the Rats lose, Dave will be on that catapult."
"Please. Shawn and Jasmine still hate each other."
"Not for long. I heard Jasmine make a deal to split the money with Shawn. That doesn't scream 'I still hate you'."
"Oh...I know we're on opposing teams and should be enemies...but I don't want to see him go, either."
"I do have an idea to save Dave for at least one more day, but you won't like it."
"What? What?!"
"I can't believe I'm doing this...we have to pull a Scott."
"Pull a Scott?" Mike mouthed the words, Throw the challenge. "Are you-?!"
"Shh!" Mike told Sky. "I'll find Topher and try to attract Sierra's attention. You find Dave and if any shots are aimed at him, try to take it from him."
"But everyone will know it was us!"
"I can convince Zoey and Brick to vote for Topher instead of you or me. Are you in?" Sky thought about it.
Dave was walking near the woods when Sierra laid eyes on him. "Found you!" she hollered. She opened fire on him.
"Bug someone else!" Dave told her as she ran. "Like Jasmine or Shawn!" He soon reached a rocky wall. "Ah! It's good-bye, Dave!" He closed his eyes and curled up in fear. Sierra fired a shot. Dave opened his eyes to find that Sky was laying down on the ground, fast asleep. "Sky?" he wondered. Sierra fired another shot, hitting him dead-center. He soon dozed off, as well.
"It's now two-all!" Chris announced. Mike was hiding behind a rock when Topher slid next to him. "Great, it's you," Mike said. He looked up to see Sierra walking past. "Come out, Wolfie!" she called out. "I know you're hiding here!"
Confessional: Mike (Mutant Maggots)
"How is it possible?!"
Confessional: Sierra
"Chris wasn't lying when he said I knew everything about everyone here. Mike's lycanthrophy was no surprise to me. I also know that Zoey has a pet hamster named Miss Puffycheeks, Dave has a pet dog named Mops, Sky made a second audition tape after she broke up with her ex, and-"
"Hey!" Chris called from outside. "Cameos are not allowed to make confessionals!"
"Alright; I'm going!"
End Confessionals
Topher's phone buzzed in his pocket. "It's the network!" he exclaimed. He answered it. "You got the Toph man."
"We've been watching you, kid," a gruff voice said from the other end, "And, we like what we see."
"Well, thank you for noticing."
"It's time we put Chris out to pasture. You interested in taking over the show?"
Topher couldn't hold back his excitement. "YES!" This happened to attract Sierra's attention. "Sweet dreams, maggots!" she called as she hit Topher and Mike with the tranquilizer balls.
"Game over!" Chris announced. "And the Toxic Rats secure a win!" Mike, who hadn't fallen asleep, glared at a sleeping Topher.
Confessional: Mike (Mutant Maggots)
"Even if I wasn't hoping to lose, that was uncalled for. Topher is done! Again!"
End Confessional
At the cabin, Dave, Sky and Mike were talking. "Good to see that you're still safe, buddy," Mike told Dave.
"Thanks," Dave replied. "I hope me finding out about your...secret doesn't change anything."
"Of course not. It's as sure as the-" Mike's eyes widen a little. He lifted his shirt. "Where is it?"
"Where's what?"
"My medallion. I remember wearing it and now it's gone! I have to find it fast!"
"I'll help look for it tomorrow."
"Thanks!" Mike gave Dave a tight hug. "How can I ever thank you?"
"By not choking me?" Dave muffled. Mike dropped him. "Oops. Sorry."
Confessional: Dave (Toxic Rats)
"Mike's a good guy once you get to know him. Boy, I bet being half-wolf must be hard."
End Confessional
At the elimination ceremony, all the Maggots were in the front row. Brick was on the far left, followed by Zoey, Sky, Mike, and an oddly-cheery Topher. "Why are you so happy?" Brick asked Topher as he and everyone else glared at him. "We all know you're going home."
"We'll see," Topher cockily replied.
"Zoey," Chris began as he passed marshmallows out, "Brick, Sky, Mike, you're all safe." Sky sticked her tongue out at Topher. "And, I'm ecstatic to announce that-"
"YOU'RE eliminated, Chris!" Topher suddenly cried out. "Ha!"
"Who, me? Whatever do you mean?"
"News flash: Chris is going home and I'm taking over as host!" Everyone gasped and stared wide-eyed at this news. "I got the phone call from the producers during the challenge. THAT'S why I cheered, and THAT'S why I don't care that we lost because I am now in charge! Ha! Yes!"
"Oh, Topher," the gruff voice on the phone said, to Topher's bewilderment, "Sorry to say, but there's been a change of plans, ha-ha!" He turned to see Chris wearing sunglasses and a fake mustache and beard. "Huh?" he stuttered. "You? It cant-can't be."
"Here's a lesson," Chris began, "When it comes to showbiz, never play a player." He removed his disguise as Chef came up to him. "I knew he had my phone all along."
"How did you know he was calling the producers?" Chef asked.
"It's what I would've done."
"But why the sunglasses and mustache? He couldn't even see you."
"Dude, it's called 'getting into character'."
"Somebody pinch me 'cause my dream is coming true!" Mike chuckled. Sky pinched him on the arm. "Ow! Hey! I was joking!" Topher could only stutter as he was loaded into the Hurl of Shame. "You've got a lot to learn, kid!" Chris teased. "Later!" Topher screamed as he was hurled off again. "Good riddance. It just goes to show you that with age comes the wisdom to recognize yourself in someone else, and the courage to hurl them off in a catapult. Tune in next time for more pain and less Topher-" Mike's cheer was heard off-camera, "right here on Total...Drama...Revenge of the Island!"
Votes:
Brick: Topher
Topher: Mike
Sky: Topher
Zoey: Topher
Mike: Topher
Eliminated: Topher (again, 4-1)
At last, Topher is gone for good! A lot of you saw this coming, but I loved Topher's arc about taking over the show, so I pretty much followed it to canon, with some tweaks to make him a more interesting character.
Sky has resolved her conflict with Mike, and Mike's secret seems to be safe with her and Dave, but soon, it won't last that way.
Did you like Sierra's cameo? It was fun for me to type her into this season. And this challenge is loosely based on the African Safari challenge from season three.
I also would like to clear something up. The merge will happen WHEN THERE IS SIX PEOPLE LEFT. I know it may seem like a long wait for the merge, but once you see everything unfold, it'll be worth it.
The next challenge will sorta be like Total Drama's version of Prom Night. And trust me when I say the next chapter will keep you on your toes. That should be it, so this is Dunsparce519 saying enjoy and have a good day.
