"Last time on Total Drama Revenge of the Island," Chris recapped, "our campers had to avoid Sierra in a last-man standing hunt-down! Sky finally ended her feud with Mike, though it seems Shawn is beginning one with him. Zoey and Brick's friendship was strained but they were able to make amends, though the Maggots ended up losing. Meanwhile, Topher got a very important phone call from the network saying he was taking over as the new host. Sadly for Topher, the calls were from me, and I'm a liar. Topher got the blame, and he was hurled off for the final time. Seven campers remain. Who will be next to go? Just watch the show. It's time for Total...Drama...Revenge of the Island!"

At the cabins, a rustling could be heard inside. "Where is it?!" Mike yelled out as he tossed a bag. Dave was standing in the doorway when the bag was tossed at him, opening and covering him in army clothes. "I know you wanted my help," he began as he took a tank top off his head, "but why is that medallion important to you?"
"It was the one thing my parents gave me before they passed away. I always carried it with me, sorta like a lucky charm. I have to find it!"
"Maybe you can ask Zoey to help you."
"What? No! She thinks it belongs to Wolfie, and I don't want her finding out...you know."
"Okay. Well, what does it look like?"
"It has a paw print on it and it's on a teal string. But don't tell anyone I'm looking for it, though. I don't want to start any more problems." Unknown to Mike and Dave, Shawn had overheard them.
Confessional: Shawn (Toxic Rats)
"So, Mike's lost something close to him, huh? Time for some payback!"
End Confessional
Mike was now checking the mess hall. "Come on," he muttered as he looked under a table.
"Looking for something?" Shawn spoke up.
"Don't bother me, Shawn. I'm busy."
"Oh, well. I guess you won't care for the weird medallion I saw in the freezer." Mike's head popped up from underneath the table. He sneaked off to the freezer. "My medallion is in here?" he wondered as he walked about halfway into the frigid room. A thought suddenly occurred to him. "Wait. How did Shawn know I was looking for a medallion?"
"Oops," Shawn said from the doorway. He slammed the door and bolt-locked it. "HEY!" Mike shouted. "Get me out of here!"
"What are you doing here, Shawn?" Jasmine asked when she walked up to him.
"I'm just making sure Mike cools down a little," Shawn replied with a laugh.
"Will the guy be alright for a while?"
"I'll destroy you, Shawn!" Mike shouted as he pounded his fists against the door, leaving dents.
"Listen up, players!" Chris announced over the loudspeakers. "Report to the stage in ten minutes!" As Shawn and Jasmine walked, they discussed their plans for the money. "I'm really glad you're splitting the money with me," Jasmine said. "I'm planning to open a flower shop and a cage-fighting school. I'll call it Roses Are Red, Bruises Are Blue! Cool name, huh?"
"Yeah," Shawn replied.
Confessional: Shawn (Toxic Rats)
"Could that girl has a worse idea for the money?! A flower shop? Really? My use for a zombie-proof bunker outweighs her stupid idea! Maybe I should word that better."
End Confessional
"Hello, Sky," Dave told her as he ran up to her. "I wonder what today's challenge will be. As long as it's not above the water, I'll think you'll ace it!" Sky blushed at this.
Confessional: Sky (Mutant Maggots)
"I can't believe Dave still cares for me even though I swapped teams. It's very...touching." She blushed.
Confessional: Dave (Toxic Rats)
"We're going to be together forever! I just know it! This thing Sky and I have is unbreakable!"
End Confessionals
"Greetings!" Chris told the campers. "Today will be a favorite and a first: Total Drama's version of Prom Night!"
"Yay!" Brick cheered, to the others' surprise. "Who doesn't love dancing and trying on tuxes?"
"In fact, part one is designing your attire for the dance, judged by myself and today's TD Classic Competitor, Leshawna!" Leshawna walked over to them. "Hi, y'all!" she cheered to them. "I can't wait to see the moves and grooves you guys got."
"Please don't demonstrate," Shawn told her, to her annoyance.
"Whoever designs the best and unique outfit gets an advantage in part two. Ready?"
"Wait!" Zoey interrupted. "Where's Mike at?" Back at the freezer, Mike was shivering as he pounded the door. "Hello?" he shouted. "Can anyone here me? Zoey? Sky? Brick? Dave?"
"I'm sure he's fine," Shawn quickly assured her. "Guy's as stubborn as a mule." Chris blew his air horn. "Go!" he announced. Everyone ran to get some fabrics. "How does this look?" Dave asked Sky as he held up a plaid pattern.
"No," she replied.
"How about this?" He held up a checkered pattern.
"No."
"What about-?" He held up a zebra pattern.
"Just stop, okay?" Sky interrupted. "Here, try this." She passed a piece of blue cloth. "Go classy. Not too extravagant."
"Hmm...not too flashy...thanks, Sky! You're the best!" Sky smiled at this.
"They seem to be doing well," Zoey said to Brick, a little somber.
"Something up?" Brick asked.
"I just wanted to do this with Mike. He's the sweetest guy. No offense."
"I understand. You really like him, don't you?" Zoey blushed in response.
Confessional: Zoey (Mutant Maggots)
"The way Mike cares about others before himself is really sweet. The way he's always hiding and keeping to himself is a little odd. But hey, no one's perfect, right?"
End Confessional
"Alright," Chris announced after a few minutes and everyone was finished. "Let's see what you got! Dave, you're up first." Dave came out. He was wearing a blue tuxedo with a dark-purple bow-tie. "Not too flashy, but classy," he explained.
"Yes," Chris commented, "but not too original. 5.5 for Dave."
"It suits you," Leshawna commented, "but a little more pop next time. I give it a six." Dave walked off. "Next up is Shawn!" Chris announced. Shawn rolled out to the stage. He had a green undershirt and camo paint on his face, along with moss-green tuxedo pants. "What is that?"
"It doubles as camoflauge in case you have to hide from the zombies and I didn't include the jacket because that'll restrict your running."
"Multi-purpose and more originality, but it looks like you rolled around in mud. Not exactly dance-worthy. Only five points."
"Same here," Leshawna agreed.
"Last for the Rats is Jasmine." Jasmine stepped up wearing a long, peach-colored dress and her hair had a boomerang pin in it. "It's a showing of an Australian sunset out in the outback," she explained.
"Very good," Leshawna told her. "But I don't think you dance in shoes like that." She pointed to Jasmine's boots, which she didn't change. "I say eight points."
"A change of shoes," Chris agreed. "Seven points. Up next is Sky!" Sky flew up to the stage. She wore a long, dark-purple dress with blue bats sewed at the bottom. She had purple wedges, a blue choker with purple costume gems on it, and her hair was fixed with a cream headband with a purple bat on it. "Hi," she greeted.
"Girl knows how to make an entrance," Leshawna commented. "And her outfit is something else! I should recommend her to Gwen. Ten points from me!"
"Yes!" Sky cheered.
"A little chiche with the bats and the matching with Dave, but you put an original twist to it. Eight points! That score will be hard to beat. Up next is Brick!" Brick marched up to the stage. He had a brown tuxedo and his army boots and dog tags. "Brick reporting for this dance!" he saluted.
"Ha!" Leshawna giggled. "I know the dance is a bit formal, but you showed what it means to be too formal! Sorry, hon, but the best I can give is a five."
"Non-original and bland," Chris commented. "Four points. Next time, don't wear a brown tux, dude." Brick sighed in defeat as he walked off the stage. "And lastly, we have Zoey!" Zoey peeked out form behind the curtains before walking out. She was wearing a vintage red dress with the sleeves at the side of her arms. She had a black sash with red polka-dots around her waist, red flats, and her hair had a blue flower in it instead of her usual pink one. "Is this alright?" she asked. "I didn't want it too fancy or anything."
"Vintage," Chris commented, "And it's a known fact that polka-dots are always in fashion! And nice use of color. 9.5 for Zoey."
"I agree," Leshawna said. "And that girl can make vintage work. 9.5 from me, as well."
"And with that, the winner of part one with nineteen points is Zoey!" She squealed with excitement. "She wins these rubber pads for her feet. How will they help with part two? Find out after the break."
(cue commercial)
"Part two of today's challenge is to be the last one standing on these platforms," Chris explained as he motioned to some platforms set up about six feet in the air. "You'll be doing your dancing up there, and to make things interesting, the platforms are rigged to randomly send electric shocks to you guys. You can see why those rubber padding for your shoes will be a big help AND since Zoey won the first part, she gets to choose who dances with who."
"Really?" Zoey asked. "Okay. Um, I think Sky should dance with Dave, Jasmine should go with Shawn..." She gave a sad sigh. "And I'll dance with Brick."
Confessional: Zoey (Mutant Maggots)
"It's not like I don't like Brick being my dance partner. I was just hoping that I would dance with Mike. Gee, I hope he's okay. I'm starting to get worried about him.
End Confessional
Back at the freezer, Mike was curled up in a ball, shivering. "A-a-anybody?" he shivered. "H-h-hello? They have to notice I'm gone by now!"
"I kinda figured this might happen," Chris continued, "so I got a little incentive for you guys." An intern pushed a TV over to them, and Chris pressed a button, turning the screen on. Shawn's confessional was aired. "Split the money with her? Forget it! I have plans to use the million for a zombie-proof bunker, and if I have to skimp on materials, I might as well open a zombie B and B. Zombie Bed and Breakfast, where our brains are the breakfast and the beds are our graves!"
"Could that girl have a worse idea for the money?! A flower shop? Really? My use for a zombie-proof bunker outweighs her stupid idea! Maybe I should word that better."
Chris stopped Shawn's confessionals. "I wonder if he got around to wording it better," he mocked.
"That was out of context!" Shawn defended. "Besides, I didn't mean any of that! Jasmine?!" Jasmine had a scowl on her face. She grabbed Shawn with her hand. "I trusted you!" she shouted. "I can't believe-" She started to cry, dropping him as she did so.
"Tough luck," Dave told him. "That's why Sky and I are careful about what we blab in the outhouse. Trust me when I say I never spoke ill about my girl!"
"Your...girl?" Sky asked, blushing.
"Don't worry," Chris assured. "I got something for you guys, too." He pressed a button, showing Sky's audition tape. "Hi, I'm Sky!"
"My audition tape? But why are you-?"
"It gets better. You better sit down, Dave." Chris pressed a button to resume. "But if I do get on the show," Sky had said, "I'll really miss my boyfriend, Keith." Sky gasped at what she heard. "Oh, no!" she cried out. She turned to Dave, who was stunned.
Confessional: Sky (Mutant Maggots)
"Keith was in the room while I made that first audition tape! I had to say that! I had dumped him a few days after and made a new audition tape and..." She buried her head in her hands. "I really like Dave. I messed this up big time!" She began to cry.
End Confessional
"Hello?" Chris asked Dave. "Maybe he missed that." He replayed Sky's tape. "My boyfriend, Keith," Sky's words echoed in Dave's head. "Are you-" Sky asked.
"AAHHH!" Dave screamed out. "THAT was the 'but'?! 'But I have a boyfriend'?! A boyfriend?!"
"Jasmine," Shawn begged, "I've changed my mind! I'll split the money with you! Honest!" Dave screamed out again. In the freezer, Mike had heard Dave's cry. "Dave?" he wondered. "What's going on?!" He pounded at the door. "Let me out of here! Hey! Get me out of here!"
"As much as I would love for this to go on," Chris decided, "It's time for you to start dancing on the floor up there." Soon, everyone was up on the platforms, some more miserable than others. "Start dancing!" Some techno music began to play, and soon the chaos started. Sky tried to grab Dave's hand but he kept moving away. "Why should I dance with a double-timer?" he bitterly told her.
"It's not what it looks like!" she defended. "When I met you-"
"Don't care!"
"Quit stomping on my feet!" Shawn told Jasmine. "It hurts!"
"No," she replied, "this does!" She punched Shawn off the platform and afterward, she got an electric shock. "Heartbreaker!" she yelled at Shawn.
Zoey and Brick were the only duo not fighting, but they weren't too happy. "Oh, maybe I shouldn't have paired Sky and Shawn with their crushes," Zoey muttered. "Thanks to me, they hate each other!"
"It's not your fault," Brick assured her. "You were just looking out for them. It was Chris that split them apart." A shock went down Brick, and he stumbled off the stage.
"Dave, listen!" Sky begged.
"Trust me," Jasmine told Dave. "She'll just use you! I wanted the money to open my cage-fighting flower shop, and Shawn stomped on my dreams!"
"That sounds like a cool idea!" Dave replied.
Confessional: Dave (Toxic Rats)
"Horrible idea. Who would want to fight flowers? I never really had a plan for the money, but now I do! I'm gonna burn it in front of Sky! Does that seem too bitter?"
Confessional: Jasmine (Toxic Rats)
"As much as I would Shawn's sorry butt on the catapult, if we lose, Dave has to go home! That way, I'll have more time to pummel Shawn! Is that too much to ask?"
End Confessionals
Dave lunged at Sky, and the duo were flung off the stage. "It's all down to Zoey and Jasmine!" Chris announced. Zoey gulped while Jasmine growled. She ran at Zoey, who ducked at the last second. Jasmine was sent flying off as she tripped over her. "And the Maggots win!" Chris announced. "Rats, your butts are mine at the bonfire tonight."
At the mess hall, Brick and Zoey were eating Chef's slop. "Who do you think will go home next?" Zoey asked.
"Honestly, I don't know," Brick replied. "Hmm...Mike might be famished. I'll see if there's anything in the freezer. Care to join me?" Zoey nodded, and the two walked to the freezer. "What might Mike like?"
"He's a bit of a carnivore, so maybe some meat?" Zoey suggested. "Is it me, or is that freezer all busted up?"
"Wonder what did that?"
"Someone let me out of here!" Mike shouted from the other side. "It's freezing in here!"
"Mike!" Zoey exclaimed. "Help me get the door open!" She and Brick took a nearby piece of metal and slammed it on the bolt lock. The door cracked open and Zoey soon saw Mike, now blue from the cold. "Are you okay?"
"C-c-cold," Mike stuttered. "S-s-so cold."
"I thought you were immune to the cold," Brick told him.
Confessional: Mike (Mutant Maggots)
"I said resistant, not immune." He shivered.
End Confessional
"Come on," Zoey told him, "I'll get you some blankets and some warn soup to get that cold out of you." She took Mike towards the cabin. Mike gave a small smile. He noticed Sky sighing on the porch. "Why is she so upset?" he asked.
"I realized too late that I messed up," Sky told him with sorrow. "And now Dave will pay for my mistake." She gasped. "The elimination!" She ran towards the bonfire area.
At the elimination ceremony, the Rats were all in the front row, with Jasmine on the left, Shawn in the middle, and Dave on the right. "Time for a Rat to go home," Chris announced. "The two people that are safe are...Jasmine and...Shawn!" Dave gasped as the two caught their marshmallows. "Looks like Dave's luck has run out." Dave ducked the toxic marshmallow flung at him. "How is this possible?!" he screamed. "I got the boot?"
"NO!" Sky's voice rung out, to his surprise. She ran up to him. "I can't believe this is happening! I should've told you from the start that I wasn't ready for a relationship since I broke up with my ex, but I didn't and-" Tears rolled down her eyes. "You're paying for my mistakes."
"Your ex?" Dave asked.
"A few days after I made that audition tape, Keith and I got into a fight and I broke up with him. I even made a new audition tape so he wouldn't be in it. The wounds were still fresh when I first came here, and I thought I shouldn't get in a relationship. But you came along and changed that. You made me feel welcome and secure and full of joy, something Keith never gave me. I shouldn't had led you on like that and-" She cried again, "I don't know what I'll do without you!"
Dave took Sky's hand. "Hey, it's okay," he told her. "We both messed up. I should've been more patient with you. But I know you can win this! You're the most awesome girl on the island since...ever! I know you can win it without me." Sky sniffled.
"Blah, blah, blah," Shawn nagged. "If you don't can the sentimental stuff, I'll toss you in the freezer with Mike."
"Mike's in the freezer?" Dave asked.
"Not anymore," Sky whispered. "But don't tell Shawn that."
"You do know this is a half-hour show?" Chris told them. He snapped his fingers, and Chef took Dave to the Hurl of Shame. Dave turned to see Sky tearfully waving him off. "Fire in the hole!" Chris yelled out. Dave was quickly hurled off, his screams cutting Sky's sadness like a sword. "How will things turn out now that relationships are now broken and cracked?" Chris announced. "And who will be sent off next? Find out next time on Total...Drama...Revenge of the Island!"

Eliminated: Dave (2-1)
I know this isn't a long chapter, but at the same time, it has so much depth. Where to begin?Okay, Dave's elimination. It was one of the saddest eliminations I had to write. I knew that the next time the Rats lost, he would be going, but his interactions with Sky beforehand just adds something that pulls at your heartstrings. As you can see, both Sky and Shawn's actions have come back to bite them. Since Sky never mentioned an ex until after Dave lost, Dave assumed he was being played. And since Shawn went back on his promise to split the money with Jasmine, Jasmine had lost trust in Shawn.I didn't include Mike in the dancing since his plot wouldn't do good if his secret was blurted here. (Besides, like Mike said in the Freaky Fashion challenge, he wouldn't be caught dead in a tuxedo.)I would like to thank LaCuevademisgustos for the ideas for some of the Prom designs. It really helped, thank you!Now that there is only six people left, the next chapter will be the merge. (Hooray!) And the next challenge will be the Hurl and Go Seek challenge, then it'll be canon challenges from there. If you want to take a guess at who might go home, or who might find that invincibility statue, bet you forgot about that!, just leave a review. Until then, this is Dunsparce519 saying enjoy and have a good day.
