Hello guys!
It's been quite an eventful summer for me since I have finally graduated from College. As such I have quite some free time and I have been spending a lot of it watching A TON of MHA lately and catching up with the Manga. And of course, with that being the case I now have a completely new story idea (yeah, I can't seem to just stay on one story lol).
But! This time it is a different story, instead of it being a pokemon story featuring Ash and Dawn as the main protagonists, this one is in a crossover universe where the protagonists are Ash (who will exclusively be called Satoshi in the story), Serena, Izuku Midoriya and the rest of 1-A class in U.A.
Satoshi and Serena (Amourshipping) are already dating at the start of the story for ease of convenience. They are both born in the MHA universe and are childhood friends turned lovers. As they are born in the MHA universe, Pokemon do not exist.
As I will be following the story of the anime/manga very closely (unlike my previous works) I will be giving spoilers before every chapter. The Fanfiction community may have viewers who either haven't caught up or started reading/watching any of the MHA works.

This Chapter will focus on the events that happen in the first 2 chapters of the Manga and the first 3 episodes of the Anime.

Before we start the chapter, just a couple more heads up:
1) As I have said, this story will follow the course of the anime but will focus mainly on Satoshi and Serena, who will influence the events of MHA with their presence. Important events that I will not spoil for non-manga readers/non-Anime watchers and whatnot will also happen so the story follows a congruent, coherent narrative.
2) Everyone is 15 years old (High school age) except for, obviously, the Teachers/Pro-Heroes/Principals/(some) Villains, etc.
3) Dialogue:

Chapter 1: The First Step into the World of Heroes.
It all began in a hospital far away, it started to happen when there was a glow. And soon, many more glows followed. These sudden glows caused people to acquire quirks, or as some would explain them, supernatural abilities. This world soon became acquainted with the idea of superpowers even though not everyone had quirks. Many people have quirks, and everyone who has one has a different kind of ability, in other words, different powers, and they can use it for good or for evil.
This is the story of how a group of teenagers is striving to join the world of Heroes with their quirks and become Pro Heroes.
Prologue:
In this story, we will be focusing on the story of Satoshi Ketchum and Serena Yvonne as they brave the halls of U.A. Academy with their goals to become Top Heroes. Though they are ambitious and determined in their goals, they are also striving to be kind people and are willing to help anyone who is in need, as this is what they think Heroes should do.
Quirks:
Satoshi: The Wielding and Manipulation of 'Aura' (another crossover element from the pokeverse), the very life force of the world around him. Satoshi can use Aura to enhance and level up his power permanently, improving his strength and speed to achieve many different battle styles.
Serena: Element manipulation, she can fight others using the elements around her to great effect. Serena can learn how to control the elements used by other quirk users, making her a very versatile fighter with great potential for disruption and neutralization.
7 months before the timeline of the anime
(In a park near the UA High School grounds)
'LET'S GOOO! TAKE THIS SERENA!" A 13-year-old raven-haired boy hollered as he unleashed a blue orb full of chaotic energy at his opposition, who was a girl with golden blonde hair. Her quirk was control over the molecules around her to form into different attacks and barriers. The Aura Orb traveled quickly as it impacted a barrier of pure air energy created by the girl. It struggled against the barrier, but in no time, it formed a small crack in it, ultimately breaking the barrier. The girl had to put up another barrier and was just in time as it blocked the Aura Orb from hitting the girl, but the force was strong and caused her to trip.
"Owww!" the girl yelled as she clutched her stomach.
"Serena!" The boy yelled as he ran to her, he took a look at her and placed his hand on her. Blue light engulfed his hand, healing her wound.
"Are you alright Serena?" the boy asked in a concerned manner.
"Yes, I'm fine, Satoshi." Serena said as she stood up, "that was really powerful, and it was only one orb. It seems you have caught up with me in terms of power."
"Finally, about time though." Satoshi exclaimed, "you've always had the upper hand in the defense on me."
"Well, don't get comfortable." Serena said, "I'll make sure to surpass you soon."
"We'll both try our best to be strong Heroes!" Satoshi exclaimed as he gave Serena a fist bump.
(On the other side of the park)
"Oi Deku, trying to play the hero again I see." a kid with blonde spiky hair yelled arrogantly as he approached a green-haired boy who is shielding another boy.
"K-Kacchan, please stop it or I'll never forgive you again!" Deku stuttered, a scared expression on his face, "you don't have to be mean to him, and you don't have to hurt him."
"You're right, I don't have to be mean to him and I don't have to hurt him, but who's gonna stop me? A loser like you? A quirkless and worthless loser?! HA!" the blonde-haired kid yelled menacingly, "now, get out of my way if you know what's good for you, you damn nerd!"
BOOM BOOM
(Back with Satoshi and Serena)
"Wait, what was that sound?" Satoshi hollered, alarmed by the sound.
"It sounded like an explosion, we should go check it out," Serena suggested. Satoshi nodded in agreement, and the duo decided to leave to explore the origin of the sound.
Satoshi and Serena soon arrived at the scene and found 5 other kids. They were greeted with the horrid sight of mistreatment as 3 of the boys were ganging up on the 2 other boys.
"Hey, what do you guys think you're doing?" Satoshi yelled at the 3 kids.
"Stop this. Why are you hurting them?" Serena yelled.
"HUH?!" The blonde-haired looked at the two interfering obstacles presented before him, "get out of here, small fry. You wanna fight?"
"Kacchan, please stop!" the green-haired boy pleaded for him to stop.
"Shut up you useless person!" the blonde-haired boy fired another explosive shot at Deku as it hurled him aside.
"Izuku!" the boy standing with the green-haired boy gasped as he ran towards him.
"HEY! THAT IS ENOUGH!" Satoshi yelled as he ran towards the 2 boys. He quickly put himself in front of them and stared menacingly at the bullies "Leave. Them. Alone. Or else!" Satoshi warned menacingly.
"Or else what?" the blonde boy taunted, "what are you going to do? You don't look so tough to me, small fry."
"SHINEEEEEE!" The blonde-haired boy yelled as he quickly fired another explosive shot at Satoshi after eyeing him disrespectfully. Satoshi reacted quickly to the attack as he countered it with his own. The other 2 boys also flew towards him and tried to attack him, but Serena put up a barrier quickly that stopped them in their tracks, and their attacks were deflected immediately.
"Hmph, you guys are weak!" Serena said as they were pushed back and held at bay by her barrier.
Meanwhile, Satoshi and Bakugos attacks impacted the other and burst into an explosion. It caused smoke to cover the field, obstructing vision from all sides. No one could see anything, except Satoshi. He can use his aura to sense the location of others. He quickly used his abilities to search for the boy in the smoke, and as soon as he sensed him, he ran towards him quickly.
"Katsuki, I can't see anything." one of the 3 kids yelled at the blonde kid.
"Huh, so you're name is Katsuki huh?!" Satoshi chuckled as he hurled an energy orb at Katsuki, knocking him back. Satoshi then empowered his fist with aura-filled energy and punched Katsuki in the stomach.
"Maybe this will teach you not to bully other people in the future," Satoshi warned as he retreated to Izuku, Serena, and the other boy.
When the smoke dissipated, Katsuki was on the floor, in pain and almost knocked out.
"You have one last chance." Satoshi threatened coldly, "leave them alone or I will attack you again."
"What did you say to me you damn nerd?! I'll kill you!" Katsuki yelled, but before he could do anything, Satoshi had already run towards him and punched him in the face, knocking him out. The two other boys tried to attack him but their attacks were deflected quickly as Satoshi knocked them back with a swift kick and a swift punch.
"Take this brat, Katsuki, and go." Satoshi warned, "NOW! I will not give you guys another chance."
The two boys looked at each other and decided against tempting fate, they grabbed Katsuki and left the park as quickly as their legs could carry them. Izuku was looking at this scene and he was both shook and surprised that someone would actually stand up to his childhood rival…and beat him.
"Hey, are you two okay?" Satoshi walked up to Izuku and looked at him.
"Yes thank you so much. My name is Izuku Midoriya." Izuku introduced.
"Nice to meet you, Izuku. My name is Satoshi Ketchum." Satoshi greeted.
"And I am Serena Yvonne." Serena introduced herself while smiling at the two boys.
"I am Kinto, thanks for helping us." the other boy introduced. (A/N: he did not have a name in the anime, I decided to give him a name just for the heck of it. He's only in this scene in the entire story so it's not like it matters anyway)
"No problem." Serena smiled, "we want to become heroes in the future, so helping people is what we do."
"That's…so…cool." Izuku smiled as he was getting nervous because Serena was really close to him. Too, too close to me Serena.
"So what was that all about?" Serena frowned as they had to approach the topic, but Izuku and Kinto grew very silent after the question, so she shifted towards Satoshi to give them some space.
It seems they are both reluctant to answer the question. Maybe we should not pressure them too much if they are uncomfortable talking to us about it. After all, we just met. Satoshi thought.
"You know, you don't have to tell us if you are uncomfortable." Satoshi waved his hands in front of the duo.
"No, you saved us. We owe you that much background knowledge." Izuku started.
"Are you sure Izuku?" Serena asked.
"Yes I am sure, just let me gather my thoughts," Izuku answered.
He took a moment to think proceeds to tell Satoshi and Serena about how much he looks up to All Might, the No. 1 Hero in the world. Izuku also talked about how Katsuki is his childhood friend that he looks up to, but Katsuki bullies him constantly due to him having no quirk. Izuku then talks about how much he cried so much that he was diagnosed as being quirkless, and even though it seems hopeless, he still wants to be a Hero.
Satoshi, Serena, and Kinto all fell silent at Izuku's confession, they were all heartbroken and at a loss for words at the misfortune of Izuku.
"So what's your goal?" Izuku asked Satoshi and Serena.
"We both want to become Top Heroes." Satoshi replied, "but we are still miles away."
"We're both applying to U.A High School after our senior year in Junior High." Serena added, "we want to go there to learn from the best of the best."
"Wow, that's where Kacchan wants to apply to," Izuku said.
Satoshi and Serena smirked as this was going to be interesting knowledge.
"You know, you should apply to U.A too Izuku," Serena suggested.
"What?! But-but I have no quirks, why would they accept someone like me?" Izuku added in a defeated way.
"Why should that stop you Izuku?" Satoshi started in a frustrated tone, "you don't need to have a quirk to become a hero. And if you want that badly to be a hero, then you can't be stopping at any excuses, but instead, you should learn from the best…"
"… AND GO BEYOND! PLUS ULTRA!" Satoshi suddenly hollered went into the pose that All Might usually go into, startling the 3 people around them.
Izuku looked at Satoshi for a brief moment, then burst into hard laughter, this was a genuine sensation that he had not felt in a long, long time.
"You know what, thank you Satoshi!" Izuku said as there were some tears in his eyes, "this is the first time that someone has ever tried to encourage me like this!"
"We're trying our best here," Serena said, "you'll definitely get in U.A, and we hope to see you there."
"Well, I should probably get home," Izuku said as he walked away.
"Yeah, me too," Kinto said as he also started to leave.
Satoshi and Serena watched as the two boys went on separate ways, they smiled as they decided it was time to go home.
"We did a good thing today huh?" Satoshi asked Serena.
"Yes, my dear Sato-bean. You never cease to amaze me with your kindness and your love for helping those in need. This is why I love you." Serena said as she kissed him on the lips.
"Ahh, I can't take all the credit. And I love you too Sere-chi." Ash laughed as he kissed her back.
10 months before the Entrance exams to U.A
"Satoshi, did you see the news of the sludge monster attack on the streets?!" Serena said as she was walking to the market to buy a few things after school, she was talking on the phone with Satoshi and they were eyeing the fight closely.
"Yeah, everyone there was lucky that All Might was there." Satoshi said as he was leaving the gym near his home and walking to the scene of the crime, "though I kinda wish we were there to help everyone out."
"You know we can't do anything about it right?" Serena reminded, "we can't fight villains or use our combat abilities without our provisional licenses."
"Yeah, I know you're right Serena," Satoshi complained, "but still."
"No buts mister," Serena stopped Satoshi right there, "don't be reckless, you don't want to get in trouble with the law before you even had the chance to become a Hero, right?"
"You're right Serena," Satoshi sighed in defeat, "as per usual."
"I know, now stay out of trouble for me okay?" Serena said as she blew a kiss through the phone and hung up.
(Meanwhile with Izuku Midoriya and All Might, just a few moments before)
"A-All Might, c-can I p-please have y-your a-autograph?" Izuku said in between stutters as his favorite Top Hero was standing right in front of him. He handed his notebook to All Might in hopes of a signature.
"Ahahahaha, you already have one Young child." All Might said as he laughed in trademark All Might fashion. Oh no, time is running out, I have to leave soon.
"Well, I must take my leave, bye Young one." All Might said.
"Wait! All Might!" Izuku said as he grabbed onto All Might's leg before he jumped away, propelling both himself and Izuku off the ground.
"YAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Izuku yelled as he looked down and realized that they were really high up from the ground.
"Young one! What are you doing?" All Might yelled, "Let go of me at once!" I'm almost out of time.
"I can't, If I let go now, I'll die from falling at this height!" Izuku yelled back.
Oh great, one more thing I have to deal with now. All Might shook his head, so he found a nearby rooftop and landed there quickly.
As Izuku got a hold of himself after the shock, he turned towards All Might to see if he was still there. But he was shaken to find that the found that the All Might in front of him was nothing like the All Might he was just with. Instead of a broad, tall, and muscular hero, he sees a skinny, under-formed man with a look that was unlike anything he had seen before.
"All M-Might?" Izuku was almost afraid to ask.
"Yes, I had hoped that no one would find out about this." All Might said as he suddenly bled out of his mouth.
"What?! How did this happen to you?" Izuku was flabbergasted at the sight of blood and was completely confused at All Might's condition.
"Five years ago, do you remember the fight with that powerful villain?" All Might said.
"Of course I remember," Izuku replied as he nodded frantically.
It was one of the biggest destructive events that happened in the last decade for the Pro-Hero society. Many Heroes rushed to fight against this powerful villain, many of them were injured, and some were even killed. But ultimately, All Might defeated him and the was had disappeared, though people suspect that he is dead.
All Might lifted his shirt and revealed a wound he had gotten in that fight.
"After my fight with him, I was never the same, I can now only operate a few hours with my power." All Might explained.
"Is your power limited?" Izuku contemplated that name, "by your injury?"
"Yes, though I don't know how long I can still use it effectively." All Might responded.
"Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this," Izuku said in a sad tone.
"It's fine, Young one, don't be sorry." All Might said with a faint smile, "Now I should probably get this villain to the police officers at the station." he said as he reached for his belt for the container of the sludge villain. Wait, it's not here.
"Uhh, it's not there." Izuku gasped as he realized All Might must have dropped when he was jumping.
"Oh no! I am so sorry for making you lose the villain." Izuku said as he was frantically apologetically bowing his head, "if it weren't for me, you'd still have him."
"No problem young one, I'll just have to go look for the villain again." All might comforted, "it is, after all, a hero's job and responsibility to do what's right."
Izuku was struck by that line, and he put his head down. I need to ask him and let him know.
"A-All Might..." Izuku started.
All Might looked at him seriously as he felt Izuku's tone and voice turn a bit serious.
"…C-Can someone like m-me who is q-quirkless ever be an H-Hero?" Izuku stuttered, trying his best not to tear up as he asked the question that stuns the most.
All Might took a moment to look at this kid. This one is just like me, I was a quirkless kid too, and even though he was denied a chance to be a hero, he is still trying.
"A person I met just last year told me that I did not need a quirk to become a Hero, and he encouraged me to apply to U.A high school. Should I listen to him and work towards that?" Izuku continued.
All Might looked at Izuku and smiled.
"You have a wonderful friend who is willing to push you even when you felt hopeless Young one. I think he is worthy to be your good friend." All Might answered.
"And no, you do not need to have a quirk to become a Hero." All Might replied as he smiled brightly at the teenager standing in front of him.
(a few moments later)
"Oi Katsuki, don't you think telling Izuku to jump off a building and killing himself is a bit too harsh?" One guy said as he walked towards the station.
"It's the damn nerd's fault." Katsuki answered impatiently, "if the damn nerd knew how this world works, then he wouldn't be saying all this stupid stuff about becoming a hero and getting into U.A, being the quirkless damn nerd that he is."
Katsuki threw his juice can to the bin in front of them out of frustration, but it missed its mark and hit something else instead. It generated a response that put chills in the spine of Katsuki and his friends as a huge Sludge monster appeared in front of them.
(With Satoshi, as he walking nearby)
Hmm, mom wanted me to get this from the shop across the street, I guess I better get to it then. Satoshi thought.
As he was walking across the street and headed in front of the alley, he came across a horrifying sight. It was a huge sludge monster holding someone inside it, and it was apparently trying to engulf it.
"Get off me, you damn villain!" Katsuki yelled as he was blasting the sludge monster with explosive shots, but to no avail, he couldn't land a powerful enough blast due to being engulfed.
Katsuki?! Izuku's bully from a year ago?! What is he doing here?! Wait forget that he needs help! Satoshi thought as he quickly put his stuff on the ground and runs to Katsuki to help him.
"Hey, Katsuki, it's me, Satoshi!" Satoshi yelled, "don't worry about this, I'll get you out of there in no time!"
"Who the heck are you, you damn nerd!" Katsuki yelled back, refusing to be helped, "do you think I'm weak huh? I don't need your damn help."
"Now is not the time to be proud nor act high and mighty." Satoshi shook his head as he formed a blast of aura energy on his hands and proceeded to punch the sludge monster. After a few moments, a massive chunk flew off but the sludge was beginning to regenerate all the damage it took.
Does this disgusting thing regenerate?! Satoshi thought, not good! Not good at all! I have to finish this quickly. Do I really have to use my ultimate move on this villain?
(Meanwhile with Izuku Midoriya and All Might who were passing by)
"What is that noise?!" Izuku asked All Might.
"I'm not sure, but we need to go see if somebody is in trouble!" All Might responded as they ran towards Katsuki and Satoshi's location. He then called for help as a group of people were around. But when they saw Satoshi and Bakugo, Izuku and All Might were really worried.
"K-Kacchan! Satoshi!" Deku yelled as he ran towards them.
"No, Young Midoriya, come back right here this instant!" All Might yelled at him, trying to stop him. The nearby heroes also saw him and tried to stop him, but the chaos caused by the monster kept them busy and unable to react to Izuku's response, they could only watch in a concerned manner as the boy was running closer and closer towards the monster.
Satoshi, who was trying his best to defeat the monster, turned around and saw Deku running towards them.
"Izuku, get out of here!" Satoshi yelled but Izuku did not stop at all. In the momentary break of concentration, the sludge monster whipped Satoshi away, sending him crashing into the wall.
"Satoshi!" Izuku called as he ran towards him, "are you okay?"
"I'm good, I can heal myself, get out of here, Izuku," Satoshi said to him.
"I can't do that Satoshi, I have to protect my friend," Izuku said in a serious tone as he started to run towards Katsuki. Satoshi struggled to stand up and decided it was best to heal himself up before doing anything else.
"Kacchan, I'm here, it's all going to be okay," Izuku said as he was reaching for Bakugo.
"Damn nerd! Do you think I'm weak? HUH?!" Leave me alone," Katsuki yelled, "what are you even doing here?! Get lost!"
"I can't leave, because," Izuku yelled while tears formed on his face. He looked at Bakugo with a scared expression on his face, "because you looked like you needed to be rescued, and I can't watch you die."
Bakugo, Satoshi, and All Might looked at Izuku and gasped. All Might and Satoshi started to realize the potential for Izuku to be a Hero.
Izuku, you are… doing your best. Satoshi started.
This one truly does have the making of a Hero. All the hero stories I have heard from when I was young, all have one thing in common. They keep on saying how their bodies start moving before their mind even starts thinking about the danger. All might finished the thought.
All might decided it was time for action, and he powered himself up and ran to the villain, he saw Satoshi there and called out to him.
"Are you alright young one? Can you walk?" All Might asked.
Holy smokes, it's All Might. Satoshi thought, "Yes I'm all right."
"Get out of here then." All Might said as he ran towards the villain. But "I can't do that All Might, I have to protect Izuku and his friend." was all he heard as All Might felt a powerful and fast surge of power take form in the teenager standing alongside him.
"Fine then, Young one." All Might said, "let's beat this hideous monster."
"Yes Sir!" Satoshi replied as he created a shock wave of energy and punched the Monster along with All Might.
"Time to end this!" All Might yelled, "DETROIT SMASHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHU!"
"TAKE THIS!" Satoshi yelled as he boosted the power he has and concentrated them into both of his hands, and shaped a blue sword that appeared extending from both of his hands.
They dug their attacks into the monster and it was disintegrated with the power of the combined moves. All Might gestured towards Satoshi to save Katsuki and Izuku, Satoshi nodded and powered down his attack. He quickly rushing to Katsuki and Izuku and dragged them out of the monster, he then ran them to safety, when he was done, All Might had successfully defeated the monster.
The citizens and heroes around all chanted All Might's name as he held a fist up high. Satoshi stayed behind him and clapped for All Might, knowing that he has once again saved the day.
(Later that day)
"So, how are you feeling?" Satoshi asked Izuku as they were walking towards Izuku's house.
"I am feeling well. Thanks to your help, Kacchan is safe." Izuku thanked Satoshi.
"Don't mention it, I know he may not have been the best to you, but if he needed help, then I will gladly help him, and of course, I would gladly help you," Satoshi replied.
"Thanks, Satoshi," Izuku asked, "So did you and Serena apply to study at U.A?"
"Yes, Serena and I have submitted our applications and we have been accepted," Satoshi replied, "though we still have to take the practical exam to be placed in one of the top classes."
"Best of luck to you then." Izuku smiled.
"What about you?" Satoshi returned the question to Izuku.
"I m still deciding, but I am thinking of going to the school," Izuku replied.
"OI-" A loud voice yelled as both teens looked behind them.
"DEKU! RAVEN-HAIRED BASTARD!" It was Katsuki, who had run around looking for both of them, "YOU DAMN NERDS! I DID NOT NEED EITHER OF YOU TO HELP ME TODAY, OKAY?! YOU TWO DID NOTHING TO SAVE ME, I GOT THROUGH IT ALL BY MYSELF! DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?"
"What is your problem?" Satoshi started but was quickly stopped by Izuku, who shook his head at him. Izuku then turned to Katsuki, "I'm glad you're safe, Kacchan."
"Hmph, you just watch yourself okay you damn nerd?" Katsuki insulted them as he walked away angrily.
"What a jerk." Satoshi started, he then saw Izuku glare softly at him, and he was a bit confused.
"What? The guy needs to learn to be grateful to the people who helped him." Satoshi defended himself.
"Oh, there you are Young Midoriya," a frail and skinny All Might called out as he ran towards the duo, "oh and nice to see you, uh Young, uh…"
"My name is Satoshi Ketchum." Satoshi greeted.
"All Might!" Izuku said, before quickly covering his mouth, realizing that he made a mistake.
"And now Young Ketchum knows my secret too." All Might sighed as he put a hand on his forehead.
"Oh, I already knew you were All Might." Satoshi said as All Might and Izuku looked at him surprisingly, "even though you look different, you had the same aura and that's how I figured."
"You can control Aura? Fascinating, there are few people alive today that even know of the existence of such a primordial quirk." All Might said.
"So you're quirk is Aura manipulation? You can manipulate life force?" Izuku asked with great interest.
"Yes, I can anchor myself with the raw aura energies around me permanently. I can also heal the wounds that other people have." Satoshi answered.
"Wait so, All Might, he might be able to heal you then," Izuku said excitedly.
"Is your form to do with an injury?" Satoshi inquired.
"Yes it is, you are very perceptive Young Ketchum," All Might responded as he lifted his shirt and revealed his wound, "but I'm afraid that this may not be recoverable since I have lost organs."
"Yeah, my healing ability is not the strongest, I can only heal minor wounds, so I still have a lot of work to do to improve my abilities," Satoshi stated, "but even then, as powerful as it could be, I can only heal people through mending most of the time. I can't replace any missing body parts like limbs, bones, or organs, so I don't think I can heal him."
"Oh." Izuku sighed, but he turned towards All Might, "Anyways, what did you want to talk to me about? You said to meet you here." Izuku asked.
"I just wanted to say that I am moved by the courage and bravery you showed today, Young Midoriya," All Might started, "It is one thing to rush into a fight when you have a powerful quirk." he gestured at Satoshi, who nodded at his approval, "but it is an entirely different thing to rush into a fight without a quirk when the ones with quirks were struggling."
"I think that you are fit to be a Hero," All Might continued, "and in that decision, I have decided to inherit my ability, One For All, to you."
Satoshi and Izuku surprisingly looked at All Might.
"You can be a Hero, Izuku Midoriya, the very best of them!" All Might declared.
Izuku couldn't believe his ears. This is really happening? His knees fell to the ground in shock as he clutched himself, crying at this moment.
(5 minutes later)
Izuku cried for a long time before he could compose himself, then he lifted his head to see Satoshi and All Might still standing there, looking at him with great smiles. He wiped the tears off his face and stood up.
"So he can inherit your quirk?" Satoshi asked, "I have never heard about this for a quirk."
"Well, One For All is a very unique quirk, Young Ketchum. It has been passed down to me by my predecessor. There were many before me, they cultivate it, turning it into a manifestation of their own power, and then they pass it on to the next person, so on and so forth," All Might explained to the duo, "I think you, Young Midoriya, are worthy to be my successor."
"I know this may be a lot to you now, and this is going to be a new change to your body and your schedule," All Might stated, " you will have to train yourself very hard every day and prove yourself to be a worthy vessel of inheriting this quirk, you also have to-"
"I accept!" Izuku responded without hesitation.
Satoshi and All Might weren't even surprised at Izuku's straightforwardness. Airing on the side of caution, All Might decided to ask him again.
"Are you sure, Young Midoriya?"
"Yes, I am sure. I will work harder than anyone to be worthy of One For All." Again, no hesitation.
"Very well then, you will meet me at the Takoba Seaside Bay tomorrow at 4:30 am." All Might instructed.
(The next morning)
"Good morning Young Midoriya! And, Young Ketchum? What are you doing out here?" All Might asked as he was surprised to see Satoshi there since he was not prepared to train Satoshi.
"Oh hi. This is where I train every morning since no one is ever around here to disturb me," Satoshi replied, "so I told Izuku last night and he invited me to come at this time. He told me he would contact you via mail."
All Might checked his phone and found that he did, in fact, receive a message regarding the matter.
"Very well then. I must tell you that I will not be training you since I have to focus on Young Midoriya." All Might stated.
"I understand, that will be no problem, I have a workout routine going for me anyways," Satoshi replied, "100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and 10 km every morning."
All Might looked at Satoshi with approval and was a bit impressed at his dedication.
Satoshi waved at the duo and picked up two steel plates, walking to the other side of the bay area. This left Izuku and All Might together.
"All right, then, put your back into it Young Midoriya!" All Might encouraged Izuku.
"Of course! What do you want me to do?" Izuku said.
"Your body must be molded and changed for you to be able to inherit One For All," All Might explained, "if you do not become stronger and sturdier, then your body will not be able to handle the strain and the pressure, and your limbs will break free of you and your body will explode."
"W-W-What? Explode?" Izuku gasped.
"Having second thoughts?" All Might asked seriously.
"No, absolutely not." Izuku answered, "I've accepted this and I will not give up now."
"That's what I like to hear." All Might answered, "I have a schedule plan prepared for you, you must adhere to it and improve your physique."
Izuku took the schedule and began to look over it.
"You even included sleeping time?" Izuku asked.
"Yes, do you think you can keep up with it?" All Might asked.
"I will," Izuku responded, "I have to, to be worthy vessel of One For All."
Thus began the 10 hellish months of Izuku Midoriya's training to inherit One For All from All Might.
(10 months later, at 6 am at the Takoba Seaside Bay)
All Might walked towards the bay area to see if Izuku was still there, to his surprise, they found that the bay area had been cleared out. Izuku was standing on a pile of compiled metal parts, looking down at his progress.
Wow, he did it, even more than I had asked of him, and right on schedule for the last day. All Might thought. He truly is the future of all Heroes, his dedication is admirable.
He walked to Izuku and saw Satoshi standing beneath the pile, a face of awe on him too.
"Izuku, you, did this all by yourself?!" All Might asked skeptically.
"I swear, I did not touch a single piece!" Satoshi waved his hands, "I did not want to get in the way of his training by offering assistance, so he did everything."
All Might gave Satoshi a nod and turned to look at an exhausted Izuku. he was so fatigued that he couldn't even stand still, and fell from the top of the pile. All Might got to him with no effort though and caught him.
"You did well, Young Midoriya, you are ready to inherit One For All."
As All Might put Izuku down, he stood up and eyed him seriously. All Might then proceeded to pull out one of his hair and gave it to Izuku.
"EAT THIS!"
Nothing was heard for a few moments but then muffled laughter was heard as Satoshi was desperately trying to contain himself. Izuku was dumbfounded and looked at All Might like he was crazy.
"What?!"
"It works, just EAT IT!" All Might said as he shoved the hair into Izuku's mouth, "quickly or you'll be late for your entrance exam later today."
(8:40 am, at the doorstep of U.A Academy Entrance Exam)
"Izuku Midoriya, today is the day!" Izuku muttered to himself as he was walking towards the entrance of the U.A Academy. He was really excited and nervous as it was the day that all his hard work and perseverance will pay off. Today was the day that he proved to the world, himself, and All Might that he was worthy of being the vessel of One For All.
"Out of my way, damn nerd." a voice came behind Izuku that he would recognize anywhere, Izuku turned around to see Katsuki walking towards him.
"K-Kacchan?" Izuku panicked.
"Hey, don't stand in my way, you got that! I'm gonna murder you!" Katsuki threatened as he walked by Izuku without doing or saying anything more.
The people around the school looked at Katsuki and were gossiping about him as he got famous from the incident with the sludge monster 10 months ago.
After that incident, he has never bullied me again. Izuku thought as he sighed in relief at Katsuki's 'kindness'.
As such, Izuku continued walking towards the door. He was caught in his thoughts as he reflected upon the last 10 months, and the progress he has made. But, in his fixation on his whirlwind of thoughts, he seemed to misstep and kicked himself on the foot, and was about to trip. As he was falling face first, Izuku closed his eyes as he mentally prepared himself to hit his face on the ground.
What felt like an eternity later, he gasped and realized that there was no pain, when he opened his eyes, he could feel like he was, he didn't know how to say it, floating?
He looked around and saw a girl standing beside him, she had brown hair and a huge smile.
"Sorry for using my quirk on you, but I couldn't let you fall and get hurt on such a big day that would be really bad luck." The girl smiled as she adjusted Izuku and placed him on the ground
"Are you nervous?! I'm super nervous!" the girl said as she prepared to walk inside.
"Ahh, wh- ye-" Izuku was struggling to form words
"Let's do our best!" the girl said as she walked into the Academy building.
Izuku looked on as she walked into the building and facepalmed.
I should have said something.
"Yo, Izuku, nice to see you!"
Izuku turned around to see Satoshi and Serena walking towards the entrance.
"Satoshi! Serena!" Izuku exclaimed, running towards and greeting them.
"So you have decided to show up after all, huh?" Serena asked, clearly in a happy mood.
"Yes! After a fateful encounter, I have been allowed to study here and become a Hero." Izuku responded.
"Well then, good luck to us all then," Satoshi said as the trio walked into the auditorium.
(10 minutes later)
"Welcome, fellow examinee viewers. I am your host today! Please give me a holler!"
The whole stadium was silent, so silent you could hear the sound of breathing.
"Yeah, I thought that would be the response, every year there's a lively bunch of you all." The MC said, "in any case, I will be giving you a run-down of the entrance exam today. ARE YOU ALL PREPARED?"
Again, utter silence.
"Holy smokes. That's Present Mic, the Voice Hero." Izuku began to ramble, but before he could go on too far, Serena placed her hand on his shoulder to calm him down. He mouthed a quick 'thank you' and shifted his focus back onto the run-down.
"As you all know, if you read the application requirements, and let's be honest, I know all of you read them," Present Mic said sarcastically, "you should know that you will have 10 minutes of mock battles set in the urban areas. You can bring whatever you want with you. So long as you are in the assigned areas.
"Wow, they're not letting us work with our friends, even though our numbers are consecutive," Satoshi said as he was placed into Arena C, Serena was placed into Arena D and Izuku was placed into Arena B.
"Hmph, looks like I can't beat any of you up then, you damn nerds." Katsuki spat as he angled his card just enough to show the trio, and they saw that it read Arena A.
"There will be 3 types of simulated Villains that come in the form of machines. They will be in the area center, and they are given different point values that correspond to their difficulty. The higher the difficulty, the higher the point value."
"Your goal is to use your quirks to defeat them, and make sure to not hurt any other examinee members, any unheroic behavior will get punished. I am also sure that you are aware of the fact that your card mentions a fourth type of villain. This one is worth 0 points, and although not impossible to defeat, is definitely not worth your time, try to avoid it at all costs to get the maximum amount of points."
"Finally, I would like to close with our dear school motto. The once-great Napoleon Bonaparte has said, 'A true hero is someone who overcomes life's misfortunes.' Go Beyond! Plus Ultra! And may the odds ever be in your favor!"
The whole auditorium was filled with nervous energy as examinee viewers got and headed to their respective arena's.
"Good luck Satoshi, and you too Izuku." Serena encouraged.
"Yeah, you too!" Satoshi responded as Serena left to her arena, "I should get going Izuku, best of luck, you can do this."
"Thank you, Satoshi, though I'm not quite sure," Izuku responded.
"Hey, I have watched you train every day for the last 10 months with a hellish schedule that even I would struggle to complete if I had just started to get into this whole hero business." Satoshi encouraged, "you got this, okay? Have more confidence in yourself. All Might is counting on you, don't disappoint him now."
Izuku gave a nod of gratitude as he ran towards Arena B. As he gradually went out of sight, Satoshi turned his sight towards the path that led to Arena C.
Well, it's time to show the world who I am. Satoshi thought. I am Satoshi Ketchum, the future Top Hero that will surpass even All Might. This is my First Step Into the World of Heroes.
