Summary: Kagome's Quirk is a rare mutation, the ability to restore and even revive the dead back to its former life. However, each time she uses it, she's reverted to a child, in mind and body, for a period of time. Her classmates and teachers at U.A. have adapted to this strange drawback, but it's only a matter of time before things spiral out of control as the LoV set their focus on her.

Pairing: Undecided.

Disclaimer: I do not own either series. Each belongs to their rightful owners.

Might lack canonicity.

Prologue

Warm, wet trails of sticky crimson flowed over her skin from the deep wounds carved into porcelain flesh. Though she laid on the hard ground, she almost felt like she was drowning. Fighting for air breath after breath, oxygen evading her. She tasted that crimson- it stained her lips a deep red, leaking down from the parted corner of her mouth.

Smoke and ash danced through the blue sky partially obstructed by a large tree. Her eyes, that same hue of blue, fluttered, onyx lashes dancing against her cheekbones like butterfly wings.

She couldn't fight or speak when she was lifted from where she laid, arms cradling her close and her head resting over a faint heartbeat.

"M-Mama…" When she finally forced her voice to work, her throat stung. It hurt so bad, almost as if she had glass embedded into the inside. Tears welled in her eyes, but it hurt too much to sob. Every noise that came from her throat, no matter how small, burned.

Her eyes met red as she stared up at the face of the person that carried her. Her mind screamed familiar, but she didn't recognize him. She was scared- so scared. He didn't look at her as if he wanted to hurt her, but she still felt her fight or flight instincts form within her. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't move. She was frozen, body crying in agony and her mind screaming for her to do something- anything to get free from his grip.

Those eyes- those deep red eyes caused terror to flood through her in violent waves.

ooo

[5 months after the well sealed.]

Pain pounded through her head as she slowly rose from her pillow, slim fingers burying into her mass of raven locks as she sighed. "Man…" her voice was quiet as she whispered, her voice slowly filling her room in a soft pattern. "That dream again…?"

She didn't understand it.

Kagome let her weight tip backwards, long tresses of raven hair fanning out messily below her as she gazed up at her ceiling. She didn't understand any of it, but it was the fifth time she's had that same dream. The more she thought about it, more memories of her mother returned to her mind. Her gaze softened, blue eyes glazing over with faint moisture as she rolled onto her side.

She missed her. Not just her, but the rest, as well. Her mind was still so hazy from the moment she was taken back to her rightful time, so she pinned it all on that- because she wasn't able to fully recall the entire incident.

After the final battle, to undo the death and destruction Naraku had caused, she utilized her Quirk, Regenesis. It hadn't been easy, but she'd managed to right everything back to the way it was supposed to be. In the aftermath, she had been sent home without any chance to say or do anything, leaving her unable to give any proper farewells to her friends.

She returned home, passed out beneath the Goshinboku tree The repercussions of her Quirk had already taken effect, leaving her with the body and mind of a common five-year-old. Her wounds had not healed on their own. Though she could smell a fire burning close, she wasn't able to move on her own, her body in too much pain from the injuries she'd obtained. There were no screams she could remember, and she thought… they must've died before she woke up.

That's when she remembered him.

His hair, a light blue color, was shaggy and messy, and his eyes, a deep shade of red, were imprinted into her memory, but she couldn't sort the haze that clouded her head at the mere thought of this man. She could remember his grip on her, and even the sound of his heartbeat when he cradled her to him, but…

She closed her eyes, and the faint memory of him speaking came rushing back. His mouth moved, but she couldn't hear what he said.

Her memories of him cut then and there, and as did the final memory she had of the shrine. When she finally awoke again, she was here.

She wasn't sure how, but Sesshoumaru had found her. He, like her other friends, were aware of her strange ability that seemed to grow in power due to the jewel, and he'd taken her in as she remained in her child body. Even after she returned to her current age, he still allowed her to remain.

"Can you not revive them the way you did to the members of your pack after the battle against Naraku?"

Kagome pulled her knees up to her chest, her hair pooling around her as she shook her head. "No… in order for my Quirk to work, I have to use it within the hour of the incident. Otherwise, it'll have no effect."

She returned to her teenage body a full three weeks after waking up in Sesshoumaru's care. With her mind and body back to the person he knew her as, that had been the first question he posed her with. It wasn't common for it to take that long to return to her normal form, but she had also been heavily injured herself. It must've taken her body a lot longer to recuperate her spent energy while healing itself.

Her alarm went off, and she sat up again to turn it off. She read the time and sighed as she pushed herself up at last. If she didn't get to moving, then she'd be late on her first day at high school.

Auroua-chan: Short intro, I know. The following chapters will be longer.

So, Kagome's Quirk is interesting- it's called Regenesis. She's able to revive/restore things back to a former state, even reviving the dead back to their former life. However, it comes with a major drawback in the form of turning her into a young child, both in mind and body. (5 years old.) Depending on what she uses it on/how much energy she uses, the time she remains as a child varies. Furthermore, her Quirk will not work if more than an hour has passed since the incident.
The jewel is definitely connected to it in a way, I'll say.

I'm really excited for the first time she uses it around her classmates/teachers.

She's also currently under Sesshoumaru's care after the death of her family. More about them will come soon, as well as more about the dream she had.

Pairing is up for debate.

Anyway, that's it for now! Thank you all for reading, and I hope you all enjoyed! Hopefully I caught all the errors before posting, but if not sorry.

Please remember to Review&Favorite&Follow, thank you!

Bye for now~
