Here is the next chapter. Please read and review thank you, Love Moon x
In the morning Lily and Harry went with Remus to the tea house. Remus had now redeemed himself and was a frequent visitor in the house something Harry really did love. Neville always came over too. They were inseparable these days. They entered the coffee shop to see none other than Molly Weasley inside balancing Ginevra on one hip and holding the hand of young Ronald. She looked exhausted totally. She smiled as Lily approached her. "Hello Lily it's been ages since we last met up in here but the kids have been ill so I haven't been able to come out as much as I did before. I'm sorry for that you know but I've had my hands full. I did have a gift for you actually but I hadn't seen you so I can only give it to you now!" she said reaching into her extended handbag and taking out a small brown parcel tied with string. Lily thanked her and opened it gasping as two pairs of booties on in teal and the other in orange fell out of it. They were hand knitted and very cosy looking indeed. One had Iris on it and the other had Ivy on it for her twin girls.
"Thank you so much Molly. I actually had a gift for you as well. It's not for Ginevra actually but is for you. Here you go. It's a spa voucher for a total day spa in that new spa in Horizont Alley. Use it to get some good relaxation one day. If you need someone to care for the kids on that day they can all come over to mine. We have plenty of space for them to play quidditch or if that is not convenient we can go over to yours for the day. I know how tough it is and every mother deserves a break at least once!" she said handing over the voucher as Molly cried.
"Well thank you so much Lily. You yourself will now know how hard being the mother to twins is. I love my boys and would die for them but I won't lie that being their mother is so fucking tough" she said whispering the last part of the sentence so the kids wouldn't hear it as Lily laughed and she joined her. She did look slightly guilty but Iris and Ivy had developed their own magical twin bond very early and had already shown signs of early magic taking dummies from one another at times and taking toys from Harry when they felt Lily was giving him too much attention. Lily could understand totally. They were fast becoming a handful and so much so that Harry wasn't getting enough of her attention so this is why they came here every week without them. The elves were left to care for the twins and insured they behaved. Magical twins were always born with a way in which to communicate with one another from birth long before they could actually talk and Iris and Ivy used their connection to the best of their ability. Lily wasn't falling for it though so they'd been much more behaved recently.
Horace had been a slight disappointment as a godfather. He'd been happy to do it but anyone with eyes could see he was disappointed that the babies were more well renowned even despite their mother and the legacy of that whole debacle. He'd be waiting to see what became of them as they grew up. Lily and Molly had actually met here a couple of weeks ago and had bonded over motherhood and Ronald being the same age as Harry. Neville did sometimes join them too so he was fast becoming friends with the two of them. On one of the visits Fred and George gad come changing Ron's teddy bear into a spider and making the toddler scream his head off big tears rolling down his cheeks. They weren't laughing after Harry used his magic to banish them to a high height making them scream before Molly levitated them back down looking so upset.
"Ronald hates spiders. Why did you make his teddy become a spider? You are evil!" he shouted pointing at them and crying himself as he hugged the still weeping Ron close to him. Molly looked at the display and turned to the twins looking furious.
"Frederick and George you will say sorry to your brother at once and if I ever catch you bullying him like that again we will find you a new home!" she snapped putting the fear of Merlin into her two boys who began to shake and cry apologising to Ron. Lily left and returned with some small ice creams for both boys. Herself and Molly had talked to Harry about why his actions had been wrong. He was only doing it to protect Ron but they had made him understand somewhat that two wrongs did not make a right. He still didn't really get it though just saying Ron hates spiders and they know that before huffing and walking off. Harry could be so stubborn like James was sometimes and it was a pain in the arse. Seeing how exhausted Molly looked Lily asked Jessie to quickly and quietly clean Molly's house from top to bottom without being seen which she did happily. All the ironing was done, clothing washed, dinner made and rooms tidied. Molly left and returned home to find Jessie waiting for her as instructed.
"Miss Lily said you can relax now. Jessie has cleaned everything in here and done all the chores. For dinner you have stew tonight. I would recommend getting an elf Mrs Weasley they can help you find more time for yourself and your knitting. I replaced your dining chairs because many of them had stasis charms on them from when they were broken before. You can use the wood in your fire!" she said enthusiastically as Molly once more cried in relief. It had been hellish the last few weeks and she was thrilled to just sit on the couch and feed Ginny in peace without needing to rush to do some chores. She really thought about getting an elf for the first time in ages. To be honest she loved cooking and that would never change but if she had an elf he or she could allow her to do the cooking and spend more time with her kids and husband while they did the chores. She raised her wand and asked any free elves to come forth. One elf came forward calling herself Holly and bonded with Molly at once.
Arthur arrived home just as the bond finished gasping at the beauty of his home. When he asked her about Holly she explained that she'd still be cooking and looking after the kids but Holly would do all the chores. Holly agreed when she heard she could do all of the chores. Jessie had simply fabricated the chairs.
"Holly welcome to the family. Do you think you could find me any money from somewhere it won't be missed? It's just we're really short this month and I am not sure I'll be able to make the payment on the house this month. I don't like asking but it is worth a shot!" he said tears coming to his eyes. He hated that he didn't seem to be able to provide as much for his family these days as the ministry had yet to get to his department when upping everyone's wages. They would in fact be getting to it in two days' time. It took ages as each department had to be financially mandated properly before they could move on to the next one. They still had twelve departments left but doing it slowly and carefully insured it would never need to be done again. He hadn't even been told about it yet hence his exceptional panic.
"Yes sir. Don't you worry sir Holly will sort it out! I know a place where money has been stored and forgotten with the owners long since dead. One moment!" she said popping out and returning again with a trunk. He saw it and gasped.
"Molly, should we take this? We really do need it! How much is in there Holly?" he asked as Molly gasped.
"Yes Arthur. As long as it's not stolen from someone living or a place it will be missed then I truly don't see the harm in it!" she said balancing a now sleeping Ginny on her chest. Holly waved her hands over the container.
"It contains one hundred and fifty thousand galleons sir!" she answered as he looked close to fainting but didn't. He took the money and left paying off his mortgage in one fell swoop. They didn't question him when he did it either. He had fifty thousand galleons left after that and felt much lighter.
"Holly use some of this money and buy us all some new beds, desks, couches and wardrobes. Put whatever is left back where you got it so someone else can benefit from it later on!" he said as she smiled.
Over the next few days their home became less and less cluttered and the ministry employee came over making Arthur the secret keeper of his own home along with Molly. This way they could both tell all of their children where they lived at once and it would be easier. Arthur arrived home from work stunned at his permanent pay rise. He would go from three hundred galleons per month to seven hundred galleons per month. It wasn't the best salary there ever was but did insure they'd live well enough. The kids would all grow up with their own wands and school supplies at the least.
Life was just kind of getting back to some kind of normality when Alice's water broke funnily enough as he was on the toilet. She'd not even noticed assuming it had been a large wee. Many hours later on December eighth she'd given birth to a gorgeous eight pound baby girl whom she'd called Frankie in honour of her father. It had been an emotional time for her and Neville who adored his new baby sister. She'd stopped crying the moment she was placed into his arms and made Alice cry again.
The godparents of little Frankie were Amelia Bones and Regulus Black who was enamoured with his new goddaughter. He'd nearly bought out the dress store making Sirius giggle at him. Just looking at Regulus you could tell young Frankie would be very spoiled indeed. It was a happy content little new family that bonded that night in the hospital.
